With a 1 pm start yesterday – coupled with an impromptu chunk blowing incident after the recess – the trial day turned out to be only 90 minutes long. Back in January it was stated that the trial would probably last “until April”. At this rate, I’m not sure whether they meant April 2013 or April 2014.

Overall though, putting Martinez’ showboating aerobics to one side… and his ongoing attempts to belittle every single sexual & physical abuse victim out there… this has been yet another awesome week for Jodi.

If all goes to plan today, and barring any more unforeseen events or salad bar issues, Dr Richard Samuels will be tackling 5,000+ questions from the jury. He’s also done an awesome job this week for Team Jodi, and it should be very interesting when domestic violence expert Alyce LaViolette squares up to Judge Pickles’ ankle biter next week. Her 20 page CV is impressive.

I’ll leave you to ponder this message posted in our ever popular “Leave a Message for Jodi” page:

“I’m so sick of seeing Travis’s friends on Nancy Grace talking about what a great guy Travis was and paint him out to be this holier than thou saint. That dirt bag was a sexual deviant! Travis’s friends talk about the “lies” Jodi tells about him, saying shes trying to slander him…no one needs to slander the scum bag, we all heard him say with his own mouth how he had sexual fantasies about 12 year old girls! Jodi Arias Trial – Day 34

I make no excuses for my comments yesterday. I call it how I see it… and when Martinez tries to discredit an expert witness by questioning his ethics, his knowledge and (repeatedly) his memory, I’ll call him a piece of shit.

It’s also even more amusing how Martinez gets easily riled up when he thinks someone else is speculating on events – even though his whole case is based on speculation, as with the gun, the gas can and the Walmart receipt… right?

Bottom line: PTSD is PTSD, no matter how you try and manipulate the results to mean something different. “You have no knowledge in this area” – as Dr Samuels rightly told Martinez… because you can’t study something for 35 minutes and know more about it than someone who’s studied it for 35 years. Fact.

I also called out the people that were aware of the physical & mental abuse TA inflicted on Jodi, TA’s attraction to children and his specific “age of attraction” as alluded to in his letters. I’m referring of course to habitual lying bastard Chris Hughes and his POS wife. They have set justice aside in favor of lying under oath to save their Mormon faces – and protect their PPL downlines. Dave Hall is preparing to follow suit. There’s a pattern here if you hadn’t already noticed.

Gus Searcy mentioned the prevalent knowledge of this abuse regarding “The Big Mormon Cover Up” in his interview with Greta a few days back.

There’s also an important point to remember here too. Although we call certain people out, we don’t do any hating on anyone in this site… nor do we wish anyone dead… nor do we wish anyone’s children dead…. nor do we wish anyone should be killed or get cancer, leukemia, aids or anything of the sorts. We leave that to the haters to do… and we leave them to operate at their best level, which is of courses several levels below us. The fact they can’t handle the truth is not our problem.

I’ll finish off by telling you this again, which a lot of people are thinking but nobody is openly saying:

THE WORLD IS A FAR BETTER PLACE WITHOUT TRAVIS ALEXANDER.

The same goes for any other self-righteous bastard that thinks they can verbally & physically abuse women and get away with it.

Because the fact is… in the cold light of day… most of the time you can get away with it… but sometimes… well… you just can’t.

We are Team Jodi… we WILL be victorious… and we are proud to stand behind and support Jodi Arias.

Always have done.

Always will do.

Jodi Arias Trial – Day 33

I’m currently observing that when Martinez is questioning anyone taller and of higher intelligence than himself, he loses the plot completely. This was evident when he squared off against Gus Searcy, Jodi and now Richard Samuels.

But irrespective of his ongoing tantrums, attitude problems & intermittent meltdowns, the fact of the matter is, he lost this case a long time ago. His evident & ongoing failure to prove anything vaguely resembling pre meditation is in plain sight for all to see – including the jury.

You can dress it up however you like, but as he demonstrated in the Doug Grant trial (and others), not only is he blatantly incompetent… he’s also very sleazy & devious – as highlighted in an earlier post: “Prosecutor Fail – the long and the short of it…”

“Hate, the Oxycontin of Women in Social Media” [Pitchforks]

“There is, in social media, a particularly venomous hatred of Jodi Arias that is expressed by women. Indeed, most of the intense, negative emotional feelings towards Arias, and other high-profile female defendants, posted on blogs is by women. The excessive and indulgent hatred is often accompanied by expressions of exaggerated joy if the defendant is caught out, or at the thought of what punishment should or will befall her.

This unhealthy combination of hate and joy is like a drug that not only dulls pain, but if used in excess slowly and insidiously becomes an addiction. Though some men express similarly strong emotions on social media threads, it is noticeable that the vast majority of the most vengeful and perversely enjoyed comments are from women.

Others have expressed the view that such female hatred towards another woman is in part a reflection of deep-seated resentment or jealousy, a kind of inverted snobbery against someone who is bright, articulate and confident, who also happens to be very physically attractive.

This perspective holds that the inordinate amount of loathing and ecstasy spewed by many women with regard to women defendants with whom they have had no direct or indirect dealings themselves perhaps indicates unresolved insecurities and emotional issues in the hating women’s own lives, rather than appropriately proportional inter-relational reactions to another human being. Insecurity and hate certainly often breed unwholesome glee when a person one feels threatened by is brought down with a resounding crash – if one can assist in that demise, even vicariously, the relish is all the more delicious.

The backlash to these observations is equally vociferous, protesting that such a perspective is outrageous, preposterous and “shallow”, but the focus of these protests is wrong-headed. They decry a perspective that attempts to invalidate their conviction that Arias, or other defendants they have internally condemned, is “guilty as sin”, and accuse the observers of themselves being “sick” and too stupid to see the “evidence” for what it is because they have “drunk the lying bitch’s Kool-Aid”.

Such responses to observations that women’s hate for Arias et. al. perhaps hint at the haters’ own insecurities…”
