1. The fact that it took the State of Arizona nearly five years to get to this point is staggering enough! I didn’t know it took nearly five years to speak with 30 people to get all of this information. I do think this makes Montgomery look really bad as he appeared to be covering for Martinez’s antics and actions and was hoping he wouldn’t do something that would force his hand. I do think Jodi should be proud of what her legal team has done so far with regard to him. However, I would still be very surprised if the state of AZ actually fires him for this conduct which I can almost guarantee would occur in almost every other state. Comments?

     I think more like 25+ years and not just 5.
     My deep disgust for human trash like Mutant Turtle Boy is not at all rooted in Jodi’s case although I learned this disgusting and criminal/unlawful freak existed in the first place by coincidentally stumbling across Jodi’s case. But in general I just despise horrible, any moral and integrity lacking freakos like him and that includes any single trash person who supports him and his actions, and similar waste of genetic material people like his ex boss and anyone else who protected his crimes ALL THESE 25+ YEARS.

     People like him and people who support his attitude and crimes don’t believe in any state of law, democracy or anything of that kind, they are just subhumans from the dark past long gone.

     You also have to wonder how many people are unlawfully locked up right NOW or were even already murdered by the state due to his massive crimes inside and outside the courtroom.

     However, it might be partly wishful thinking but yesterday George suggested he might have been fired already effectively and just still formally has the right for his hearing in April due to workplace laws/rules or whatever.
     I think it’s possible and I certainly hope it is the case although it’d be 25+ years too late with possibly countless victims left and right to his worthless and useless path to spend his shit life as a creepy toad, unjustified locked up maybe even for a long time already or already murdered ones.
     We can only guess but it’s certainly possible he’s been technically fired already and without doubt it would be the right thing to do.

     With all the creepy and obtrusive conduct towards women adding to all of that, of course he is the kind of extraordinary ugly and creepy guy/fairy tale gnome 99 in 100 women would even be disgusted to touch him WITH clothes on lol, which he obviously tries to desperately counter with impudence and harassment to at least get laid by some creepy/ugly women once in 5 years or something, he appears also to be the archetype of that creepy guy who shows his little toad dick to kids in the park…

     Maybe these are all reasons why he liked and defended pedo bear so much since he was the same kind of creep and disgusting human being altogether, one of a kind and he felt related to him because of that.

2. O’Neil will try his best to protect him at the April hearing, but may not succeed. If he fails, I’m guessing the new County Attorney, Allister Adel, already wants Martinez gone and will dismiss him as soon as she can find an adequate excuse. But he’s probably protected against arbitrary dismissal by some kind of personnel rules, whether union or civil-service. Some interested person might research this ….

     This is along the lines of what I was thinking. Obviously, JM has been in Maricopa a long time and has a lot of supporters above him which makes him difficult to terminate without a really good reason, as if sexual harassment wasn’t good enough(Go Figure!!!!).
     This new county attorney, Adel, may want him gone like we do but will have to be careful about stepping on his employment rights. It appears that JM will know his fate long before Jodi’s appeal gets heard.

7. I wanted to ask this because I heard it on the show and had not heard this piece of information before. We all have known for a while how much money Travis owed both Deanna and to a certain extent, Jodi herself as she had loaned Travis a nice little sum if not all her money. I had heard that Travis also owed Chris Hughes several thousand himself and Chris was trying to think of ways that Travis could pay this back mainly through different business avenues. However, one of the first descriptions of him is that he is highly successful!!
   Even with that, this was literally a rehash of every previous show that has ever aired with the exception of the appeal board hearing last fall.

     I only watched this 8 minutes long clip and wouldn’t waste any more time on it anyway but I think you can assert that the Hughes have no merit whatsoever, they seem to make up things as they speak, now and in the past every single time I’ve heard them. .
     Mrs. Hughes or whatever her name is today even once openly lied live on TV on Nancy DisGrace and her then husband quickly took over and tried to distract from that mistake, they are pathetic and disgusting people like all of pedo bear’s friends, maybe except that dude who traveled with his sister all the time, I can’t recall the name right now without looking it up but I think David or Daniel Freeman. He seemed to be the only guy who was not a horrible human being in pedo bear’s surroundings.

     And btw, lol, this new likely totally made up whirlpool story, even if true, how in fucking hell does that tell ANYTHING about Jodi being weird or even dangerous?
     Maybe for prude Americans only or other hypocrites but girls did, well, much more to me and I to them in whirlpools or other places while others were present. There is nothing sick about it or has even any relevance regarding killing someone or being dangerous, it’s just the most natural thing, being horny and acting on it. 🙂

8. The fact that certain facts are still distorted to this day of the struggle itself even after they had been stipulated in the court record is what blows me away about these shows. They only difference between ABC and the rest of these is that they attempt to reenact the fight, although badly, to address Jodi’s testimony. All of his friends seem to find it impossible that they didn’t know everything about Travis like his overactive libido. The statements that other Mormon women didn’t want to be around him because he couldn’t keep his hands off of them etc. You are right about the friend, Daniel Freeman. He has not spoken since the original interview on the tabloid show.. “Murder made me famous”. The show exaggerated Jodi’s move to Mesa as this site pointed out that Travis encouraged it and even helped her financially although I am curious how since he was practically broke and borrowing money from anyone with a heartbeat!

     Likely intended for the most part, but I wouldn’t totally rule out simple stupidity, shallowness, an attention span of an amoeba and plain and simple cluelessness.
     Most of it might be intentionally evil and inaccurate in order to sell the desired product/false and made-up legacy of the incident itself and the so-called victim though, which we know is a total fake legacy altogether, just like his fake life.
     Nothing annoys and disgusts me more than intellectual dishonesty and hypocrisy.
     That is the very opposite of journalism in all possible aspects. They should be ashamed of themselves and crawl back in the earth hole they came from, hosts AND show/interview guests.

9. I am also assuming that the social media sites like Twitter are all piling on this show? I am sure you have seen all of that on your feeds. As I have said many times here, all of this is secondary to the central issue. The central claim is that Travis was violent with Jodi on several occasions behind closed doors with no ear or eye witnesses. All of these shows have made a point of having somebody claim that Travis had never been violent with anybody including the 20/20 segment. However, we know he was taking steroids for fitness reasons which have been shown to lead to violent actions. Unfortunately, we could not expect Jodi to try to record Travis in the act of assaulting her which would have put this case in a much different place.

   • We KNOW he did take anabolic steroids? How so? That would be new to me.
     However, as a sports nerd all my life with lots of experience from gym and endurance to extreme/action sports, even without knowing it, I’d would almost bet my ass on it that he did.

     It’s so damn obvious, he had this typical spongy/flabby/fatty/fleshy unfit look (face and whole body, plus the obvious overweight/obese status quo) of those douches who do some low level alibi weight lifting/sports but not remotely enough and who have not even a clue how and how much to work out if they are stupid and demented enough to use this crap in the first place.
     All of this just because of the pitiful effort to at least artificially appear somewhat pimped up but who actually are just looking flabby, fat and undefined muscle wise like he did, and are totally unfit and even almost dying climbing just a few steps of a staircase. 😉

     He was the epitome of this sad and pitiful outer appearance and fitness/body status quo. Experienced people can see that at first glance.
     But is there actually evidence or testimony from Jodi meanwhile? Maybe unofficial towards friends/family/her boyfriend?

10. I likely meant believe but I can’t remember where I saw that statement. It could have been off of the last show from A&E. I may have heard it and assumed it was a fact but it would absolutely prove Jodi’s argument. The fact that Travis would assault Jodi because she doesn’t have any money to lend him is what I would refer to in this argument. He was able to get money from Deanna and obviously from his best friend Chris. Deanna spends the better part of several months “text bombing” him to get this money back because she had bills to pay which is what causes him to open up to her that he is literally broke and may not be able to afford gas money to OKC.
    Travis was considered a fitness enthusiast by many people in his circle as he was involved in MMA although he was an average fighter with a 3-2 record, if I remember correctly, and he had a heavy bag in his home according to Jodi and others.
    I have not heard anybody attribute Travis’s pent up anger to his financial problems that he was having as Chris Hughes alluded to in the Friends segment and the text chain that this site pulled from Deanna and Travis.

      Excuse me Lance, but his “friends” lied and still do about a shitload of additional things and obviously also about him being a “fitness enthusiast” during these almost 2 years (and likely also in many prior years according to his outer appearance) of this very unhealthy on/off/unofficial/whatever so-called relationship.

      If they did that ever at all. I only heard something about running and cycling from his roommates, that’s it, and that he wrestled during High School which would have been 12+ years ago at that point in time and that’s exactly how he looked like – meaning the last meaningful sport activity likely happened 12+ years ago or something.

      I dissect that only to prove another lie/false made-up pedo bear legacy among MANY by friends/media or whomever and for the heck of it since I’ve made an entertaining hobby out of evaluating people I see in the gym/etc., not to mock them but to give them advice regarding nutrition and workout/etc.
      I’m kinda nerdy regarding this stuff because I’m addicted to all kinds of sports and (in my case vegan) nutrition/health in general – and most people are just hopelessly clueless about what to eat and how to exercise, basically walking train – wrecks like pedo bear with no leg day ever and generally between overweight and obese.

      That “sports enthusiast” bs/lie is even the most obvious one from all and visually+data disproven.         You are correct in that Travis was not having sex with any other woman at this time because all the other women were/are devout Mormons and would not do that. Lisa was known to be wary of him because he was very “hands-on” with her and it made her uncomfortable which is also why she was a VERY reluctant witness on the stand when these questions were asked. Mimi didn’t even want to date him until he finally get her to agree to go to Mexico with him on the company dime. The only woman that we believe Travis did sleep with besides Jodi was Deanna although that was well before they met anyway which would not have mattered.
        The part that has always made me laugh is that this was absolutely the WORST kept secret in this Mormon click! Everybody knew what he was doing even as they are “trying” to keep it on the DL. Apparently, the only people that really didn’t know(as far as this site has been able to figure) was the bishops in the church. Jodi could have literally “blown the lid off of his secret life” by walking into the church and becoming a “Mormon whistleblower” and putting him on blast to the entire community. Travis was lucky in this regard that he was dealing with a woman who believed in ONLY positive thoughts about people and would never do that.

          One I can remember from the time I did watch the trial footage and everything was some Chataya or something, some half Asian girl I think. Jodi knew her too. She was also involved with that Prepaid Legal/Legal Shield MLM scam.
          There’s a pic from her and Jodi in a stretch limo in Vegas I believe, during one of these MLM brainwashing events.
          And there was also some text evidence that they had sex and he was, pitifully and insecure as ever, fishing for compliments what a stallion he is lol.
          I mean this guy was really a caricature of a guy who was already an insecure douche and unmanly little cry baby to begin with.
          I can’t remember any other girl that was mentioned in the trial though, at least not a girl that involved any sex, petting or more.
          There was this ex girlfriend though when he was younger, who didn’t like to be involved in his scam business and left partly for that reason I believe. She was interviewed by Nancy DisGrace but od course didn’t speak about sex on TV, if there was some or not.
          However, I think I’ve mentioned this already, after High School and in the first years of college (that is actually High School+ in France/Germany, quite a bit more sophisticated than US High School and you are also 1-2 years older after finishing it) I was also involved in MLM, also holding these brainwashing any real substance lacking and superficial “motivational” clown speeches with a very short term effect, where you only pull some easy and dishonest strings to make people believe for one day that they can beat Superman 🙂 in front of crowds of new and old recruits/etc., hence I know so much about this whole scam nature of all of this, before I finally was disgusted enough by myself abusing and using clueless and naive people (like Jodi back then) and ditched that. – And well, the common modus operandi from leading people on these events, and almost everyone else too lol, is usually to try to get the new or old attractive recruits laid, plain, honest and simple, that’s how it goes there, and it’s as easy as it gets in that setup.

            I will take your word on that but that is the first I have heard of any other woman besides Deanna. Chataya must have figured him out fairly quickly and walked away. I do remember certain friends, not just Sky, dropping hints that Travis was a dog but it was just left alone because he was one of the guys. Jodi actually went to this Vegas event in search of a new start and/or career. I will agree that Jodi was likely somewhat “starry eyed” by Travis as his first impression was very impressive to her anyway.
            Just like you, I have done some MLM really early in my life although this was a telecom reseller that didn’t spend money on advertising. I went to a rally with my mentor who brought me in and listened to all of the success stories about regular people who quit their jobs and highly lucrative careers to do this full-time. I burned out after about 9 months and gave up.

              yeah MLM is not for everyone and it’s certainly not a serious business which you can do with a clear and good conscience.
              The shitload of money (at least for a 20-24 year-old back then who was still in college) made me believe I could though. I’m guilty of that self-betrayal and lack of integrity during those years myself.

              Not only recruits are fooled and betrayed with wrong/dishonest promises and mostly actually never earn a dime, some really never do and totally 99 %+, including the never – earners, not after they were sucked of their contacts/etc and the profit that lies in there.
              This whole system relies mostly or even close to solely on steady recruiting of new foot soldiers (hence all these never ending brainwashing events), not unlike chain letter mechanics, and sucking them and their contacts/oportunities dry. Only very few make it past that point.
              But it’s also a betrayal on customers side since the very expensive payment system, including the extra motivational incentive system like that Cancun trip and much more (trips, expensive office/business gear, cars, golden gimmicks like a bill clip and a tie needle I actually still both have lol, and much more) results in that products are sold which are not worth their price, minor/inferior to max average products sold for hi end call-girl prices (I was just avoiding the w… word lol).
              That’s how these only self – serving MLM/pyramid scheme systems are financed, to the disadvantage of recruits and customers. No matter if they sell water filters, nutrition supplements and health products like Herbalife/Amway/etc., insurances and other financial products/services, time sharing or whatever.
              The rip-off mechanisms are always the same. The big companies like Amway even often settle 2-digits million law suits to avoid being (rightfully) called a pyramid scheme. It’s a dirty business. Period.
              Jodi was one of these victims even in both senses, since Prepaid Legal/Legal Shield is/was even THAT impudent (that is not even standard among those pyramid schemes) to make it a duty to become a customer yourself before you can even start to try making a dime on your own. Just wow…
              There you can see the even exceptional rip – off/dirty business nature of that company, even among other MLM pyramid scheme businesses which are all not kosher to begin with to put it very mildly.
              Businessmen and motivational speaker my ass… sure not a serious one but instead rather a scammer.

              However, I’ve to correct myself after thinking about that Chataya girl or whatever her exact name was (I’m pretty close though), just to be accurate:
              She was not an Asian – American but a Mexican – American or even pure Mexican.
              She just looked a bit Asian-like to me due to her “Aztec – like” eyes I guess, that’s what messed with my memory.
              I remember two pics with her, one with her and pedo bear at some MLM brainwashing event (I think from his myspace) where he made a kind of racist remark in the pic comment (that’s why I just remembered she was actually Mexican) like “This little girl is the only reason not to close borders with Mexico.” (or build a wall or something like that).
              At least it was very demeaning, racist, respect- and classless and inappropriate – of course it was coming from him.
              And there is this pic I’ve already mentioned with her and Jodi in a stretch limo in Vegas.
              The evidence via some text from sms, emails or chat service messages was that they had some sexual encounter of whatever nature, at least once, but I actually think only once but I’m not sure of course, thankfully l wasn’t there lol.
              Then she did what Jodi should have done immediately after a week or so, run to the end of the horizon and never look back.
              Afterwards he then was desperately and pitifully fishing for compliments like the insecure little cry baby he was, asking/saying something like this to her “You must have been surprised how good I am!?” or something to that effect.

                Jodi’s purely positive outlook, as she explained in her journal, was something that fed Travis’ ego tremendously. I had never heard that quote from him before but it does explain a lot about how he thought…{This little girl is the only reason not to close borders with Mexico.” (or build a wall or something like that).
                Obviously, whatever Travis did before he met Jodi was considered irrelevant including Deanna. The fact that he was in such personal debt was largely overlooked by the media likely on purpose because it didn’t fit their narrative.

                  Here it is, both photos/footage+supporting evidence (2 different girls instead of 1 though) I’ve mentioned above.

12. This is absolutely disgusting! Jodi’s disbarred “defense” attorney is about to take up a whole new career – as a comedian! No joke. According to the article below, he will be performing a one-man show this April in a Glendale, Arizona comedy club, calling his stand-up routine “Overcoming Jodi Arias”. He was ultimately disbarred for writing a disparaging book about her case even while her case is under appeal. And now he’s taking his complete lack of ethics on the road to make another buck off of this tragedy. And this all while complaining that he will never be able to shake his tie to Jodi Arias even though most people would have absolutely no idea who he is if he weren’t out there constantly advertising it. 13. Starting to watch the “20/20” version. One of the first things I notice is Travis’s friend, Sky Hughes, badmouthing Jodi. Here’s what she didn’t tell us all…about an email that she, Sky, sent to Travis during the relationship:

15. I was trying to recall this language she used when I was referring to seeing her in the 20/20 segment. I had immediately thought that someone convinced her to stay on the family’s side during these interviews. Obviously, she has decided to not stray from the Jodi is evil camp. I can only guess that this only mattered to her when Travis was alive!
    To me, this is another very small example of how these people are able to close ranks and keep much of Travis’ bad behavior under wraps and out of the media other than what Jodi introduced at trial.
    As far as Nurmi goes, this seems like a guy who has had his one and only profession yanked from underneath him and he can’t find a substitute! This will be a very short stint as he has no personality at all!

16. Juan’s disciplinary hearing scheduled for April has been “stayed” by the supreme court in Arizona…..surprise surprise

    • That’s not bad news. The delay is to give the bar prosecutors a chance to convince the Supreme Court to reinstate the complaint that O’Neil dismissed about sexual harassment at the county attorney’s office.

    • Actually the “special action” was submitted by the State Bar and it is the State Bar that is bringing the charges against Martinez so this may well be in Jodi’s favor. Let’s hope so.

      • Sure, it’s a good thing regarding a possible outcome and initiated by the state bar anyway, however, it’s still no reason to use that desired decision as another lame/lazy ass reason/excuse for an, even totally unspecified, delay.
        That is the kind of laziness and lack of any liability and professinal attitude you can only find within the almost blindfolded law microcosmos.
        A professional work environment, the combined/cooperative responsibility for the case and the suprême court, wouid come up with something like this:
        “Ok peeps, we need 7-14 days to decide this.” (it’s not like they have to figure out nuclear fusion or the origins of the universe right?) and not with a delay for the hearing when almost 2 months are left to that hearing lol, and not even with a new date for it. Open fucking end.

    I don’t recall seeing this particular picture but I believe I have seen her picture somewhere else. Was she one of Jodi’s friends who accompanied her to Vegas for the company blowout where they initially met? I am also curious how any of Jodi’s friends would have ever come in contact with Travis unless they had come with Jodi on that Vegas trip or Travis had ever made a trip to CA which I don’t remember ever hearing him do? The other My Space picture I don’t recognize at all since this was way before Jodi came along which is the only time that matters in this case. I will admit that I am very curious if there were any “words exchanged” between the two friends OR between Jodi and Travis about this IF it did indeed occur while the two were officially dating. I am also assuming that Chatanya was part of that group of Jodi’s friends that were either too scared or too ambivalent to step up and talk about their interactions with Travis?

      frankly, I didn’t even look at the date of this pic with the Mexican girl since I previously assumed that this was Chatanya as well and therefore must have been around that same time frame, back then when I was inhaling all the trial related stuff a year ago or something, which is of course not the case in hindsight – but it’s still relevant to me regarding the pitiful prick he was because of this inappropriate/racist or whatever you want to call it pic description.

      Regarding Chatanya, I don’t think she was a prior/initial friend of Jodi, she just met her at a Prepaid Legal brainwashing event after being involved with pedo bear.
      She is more related to him and also on his side after the incident. She’s on Facebook and I remember seeing a Facebook post of her a year ago or something that indicates that.
      She’s just one of the countless more or less shallow MLM crew/circle of acquaintances (falsely called friends by the superficial media), to both Jodi and pedo bear afaik.

    The reason I had asked about her was that in Justus’s “wiki” site, it explains that Travis spotted Jodi at the event with several friends laughing and joking as they walked through the convention lobby which is where their first encounter occurred and also what led up to the two of them attending that dinner. I had thought that Chatanya was one of them as they are never really identified but it seems she is one of Travis’ friends instead which would explain her reluctance to speak out against him just as Deanna was. I have also wondered how Deanna felt about having her text threads with Travis made “public” as she tries to get back the nearly $1000 Travis owed her.

I don’t know anything about appeals of a firing, but it sounds to me as though Martinez can’t win because he’s been warned repeatedly and it’s all there in personnel documents. Maybe he can successfully argue that he can’t be fired for disputing an evaluation or (in the opinion of MCAO) minimizing the seriousness of his prior conduct.

    The only thing I’m sorry about is that he’s not being fired for the right reason — namely, that he’s a totally unscrupulous prosecutor who, just in one trial, withheld evidence, tried to destroy evidence, lied in his closing argument (about porn traces on Travis’s computer), and violated basic legal ethics in bullying and humiliating not only Jodi but all of her witnesses for hours. It’s disturbing to me that in Maricopa County, a perfect exemplar of chronic prosecutorial misconduct (see bar complaint by Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and report by Harvard Law School project on fair punishment) can only get fired for making female coworkers uncomfortable.

    • Yep, wrong reasons, or more accurately, only part of the reasons that qualify or would have qualified to be fired, and like 20+ years too late.
