1. Sent my opinion to the Dr Oz show. It absurd that no one seems to be interested in the REAL truth in this case. Corruption is everywhere. Please email that ridiculous show and let’s stand up for our Jodi! Free Jodi AZ!

He has to actually have his facts correct and acknowledge that this was a three circle circus trial. That Jodi WAS deprived of a fair trial and that the only main protagonist in this trial was corruption and misconduct without an ounce of justice for Jodi.

   • I totally agree with all you wrote. I don’t have high hopes about a fair interview. Of course everyone will jump on the ‘let’s fuck over Jodi’ wagon and bash her but I still hold a small hope that Dr. OZ will have someone in the panel that is willing to support Jodi and make it a point that ABUSED women should not be punished because they acted on their human rights to protect themselves from their abuser. SELF DEFENSE IS *NOT* A CRIME.

4. I remember this guy as he was the one that I was referencing in an earlier post that even people in his own circle thought he was off at the very least. I am curious to know how much Chad knew in relation to what Jodi found out throughout the relationship. I was also curious to know how Chad was “treated” by the inner circle when this tweet came out. I don’t think I ever heard an explanation from him as to why he said this and it didn’t seem to get a lot of attention in the overall scheme of things although I know it raised a lot of eyebrows on this site. I don’t trust any show or podcast to be fair about this case because of how much negativity has already been generated and thrown her way. I would be absolutely stunned if this tweet is even mentioned in this interview considering based on what we all know about the media. Thoughts?

     the general wording, exaggerations and inaccuracies from the Wizard of Oz in the preview/intro video actually leaves no room for speculation how “objective” this show will be.
     This MySpace post (not a Tweet) is just sick though and until today nobody ever offered a harmless explanation for it – and I can’t come up with one myself at all. But if it is actually the sick stuff it says why post that publicly?
     There is a known “culture” and scheme of pedophilia, general kid and women abuse in this sick and pathetic Mor(m)on LDS cult but they usually cover it up and don’t announce it on asocial media, so I can not really make any sense of it.

     I can say though none of my friends or myself EVER said such totally sick shit.

   • Corect, no same not pedophile person with at least such desires, fullfilled ones or not, would ever make such a (even not funny) “joke”. I’m a fan of tasteless dude jokes but they must at least be funny and not totally disturbed like this one. I try to think of any context which I might oversee where this could be just a stupid and not even funny joke but I can’t come up with one.
     The same is true for repeatedly and over and over mentionimg a 12 year old CHILD in a sexual fantasy with your girl on the phone or wherever. Only a sick and definitely pedophile person woukd do that and even get a boner and go off on the thought.

6. I am really trying to get into haters’ minds here.
   OK, so Chad Perkins was TA’s BEST friend right? Cool. So isn’t it reasonable to assume he knew him BETTER than anyone else among his wide circle of friends? It is.

   OK then people, here’s your answer : Chad knew about TA’s sick tendencies. (Maybe to the point of joking about it, casually,online. The latter being too far-fetched yes, I agree. But maybe, just maybe HE KNEW.)

   We all know what they’re gonna say: it was a joke. Just typical male vulgar shit talking. A tasteless immature joke among besties which probably doesn’t mean anything and that we are reading too much into it.
   Sorry but what kind of SICK not-right-in-their-heads people joke about pedophilia?? (And what a coincidence, Chad joking about underage *boys*, not girls. )

   Everything about this MySpace post has always been confusing; I agree with Frank, I too don’t know what to make of it. It is part of the SICKENING distorted world TA used to live in, definitely far from the pious saintly image Martinez and all his Mormon friends and relatives painted. And which the masses blindly accepted as true.

   But I’m asking everyone who’s not on our side, now that enough time has passed and the dust has settled , to take a minute to consider that if there’s a chance Chad knew, then Jodi told the truth.

   TA was not the man they say he was. He lied about everything: his financial status, his professional status,his sexual life, his urges, his WHOLE LIFESTYLE. He led a double life. And this is not fiction, it’s simple maths and evidence presented.

   Starting from *that* point , why can’t TA supporters slowly lift the veil that has been covering their eyes? Why is Jodi not to be trusted because she lied to the police when caught whereas TA is justified for all the lies he kept telling THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE ? Just because he’s dead? Come on. Talk about double standards and refusing to look at things objectively.

   TA was a very very troubled man. No no, he didn’t deserve to die. But maybe he had it coming. Maybe that day he ran out of luck; he attacked but wasn’t the one to win the fight.

   Not even by the Prosecution. Makes one wonder, right? Why would Martinez avoid to include him on his witness list? Because he was AFRAID the MySpace post would be brought out in the open and used by the defense!

   hy the f*ck didn’t the defense call him as THEIR witness????He could have been cornered regarding his sickening post, the jury would have been able to hear about it and possibly start having second thoughts about the whole pedophilia thing.

   It is infuriating and a small example (among the myriad things the defense didn’t do) of what a poor job Nurmi and Wilmott did. Nurmi having the burden mostly on his shouldres.
   Her own defense team FAILED Jodi. There never was a possibility of her receiving a fair trial. ENOUGH SAID.

     I’m sure that he never even went to the trial or even watched the whole thing. And his reason surely would have been: it was too emotional for me to handle. Ok. So why now???? How much did you get from appearing at Dr. Oz show?

   • As for Jodi’s defense? Hm. I’ve watched plethora of trials and even the most ignorant public defenders in traffic related cases did a better job than what her defense team did. I’m giving Jennifer the benefit of the doubt because she was second chair. I’m sure if she was first chair, more stuff would have been brought up in trial. nurmi was a lazy pile of shit, more interested in what he dug up from his nostrils than defending his client!!!

     If Jodi had good representation that actually gave a fuck, things would have been different now.

8. I was never particularly fond of Dr Oz. He’s in the entertainment business, after all. He has to entertain the masses to keep making a living. To keep being on the spotlight.

That him and his colleagues would want to dig further and present both sides to this story. Even if it was just to go off the beaten track and make a difference, compared to his fellow TV presenters.

   He is an entertainer it seems, definitely NOT a scientist.

     excellent posts, all of them, but especially the first one. I might add something to it later when I have some time, regarding “deserved to die or not” and more.

     And about the Oz show (show is such an accurate term here right, in the sense of “the show must go on” and “showtime” – this is not serious TV for educated and intelligent people, it’s for the most degenerated, simple-minded and shallow dipshits out there only, just like HLN or Court TV with their braindead and any decency and ethics lacking talking heads and profiteers like VinniePooh etc. or N. DisGrace in the past), being in Europe I obviously didn’t watch it yet but the preview video and the show anouncements on Twitter and Facebook etc. really left no guessing game what a worthless and inaccurate show it will be.

     …and using meaningless terms like “brutal” etc. to spice it up ou could basically tune down your expectations to zero regarding every word out of his mouth, or from the “reporter” on the video edit.

     Crime of passion is possible though although I don’t believe it, but a serious person must admit that it is possible, we all were not there after all despite supporting Jodi. But the revenge part he totally pulled out of his tiny ass for no reason other than lack of any journalistic attitude, as well as many other tidbits spoken out or between the lines in that preview video.
     Pathetic guy, really.
     What kind of strange show is that anyway, everything from court TV to health advice like the traveling salesmen in the wild west selling “magic” tinctures and stuff? What a ridiculous show concept.
     A surgeon offering advice in all matters of life is even more ridiculous than an internist like Dr. “No Clue” Drew doing court TV.
     Medicine is really not a study of intelligence, just a study of learning mindlessly, just like law, medicine has at least a scientific base though as opposed to law.

    I watched the interview… yawn! These people have to become more creative if they wanna keep their viewers on their toes! Sheesh. It’s a frustrating copy-paste of all the bullshit we’ve heard throughout the past 10 years. Mind I say, a poor version of the previous bullshit said and heard.

    I started laughing with Oz’s preview: “the horrifying months Travis went through leading up to his death”! Where do they come up with these stupid sayings? If they look at all the texts between Travis and Jodi up to June 4th, the only thing travis was was excited and horny – NOT IN THE LEAST HORRIFIED! I saw no terror in his texts. And in many times he’s the one that initiated the first round of texts.

    Anyone that has watched the movie ‘ENOUGH’ starring J.Lo can understand what it means to fight an abuser. I don’t think that anyone said “poor guy. That bitch kicked the shit out of him”. I’m sure everyone said “He had it coming. Kuddos to her”. So why not agree that travis had it coming, too. For months and months he abused Jodi. More mentally than physically but MENTAL ABUSE IS THE SAME THING AS PHYSICAL. Just because we don’t see the scars doesn’t mean they’re not there or deep enough.

    I haven’t watched the show as I figured I could get the cliff’s notes here. We know that Dr. Oz is indeed in the entertainment business and that the Jodi bashing will continue unabated. I had a discussion with Bb on this site earlier this fall about the fact that Jodi’s biggest weakness in her case was not being able to show Travis as a serial physical abuser because he didn’t abuse any of the other women in his life, at least physically according to them but definitely financially, as Deanna proved when she spent several months trying to recoup the approx. $1000 she loaned him and the “highly successful” sales guy kept complaining he couldn’t give her but so much as he was worried about his FROZEN bank account and not having GAS MONEY to get to OKC!!!!! That shit STILL cracks me up!!!
    Another question would be whether Perkins would testify for the defense if he was called as a witness to Travis’s sick tendencies.
    Does anybody think that this Myspace post (Thanks Frank) actually helps Jodi in a retrial by showing that other people, besides her knew or had an idea that Travis was disturbed and pedophilic? The basic premise of this case will ALWAYS be his penchant for anger and subsequent violence considering his background, possible steroid use from his MMA fights and his obsession with his physique and fitness. I have had a hard time with the fact that this anger never came out anywhere else in his life, except with her! Most studies show that these kinds of people have patterns that they follow.
    Does anybody know how Jodi’s new defense team would approach this?

    I mean this obsession, if at all existent, existed only in his mind and dreams, and was not pursued by real actions and exercises/effort/etc. given how extremely overweight almost obese he was with not a trace of muscle definition/tone because of all the fat and spongy outer appearance.
    People who are for real obsessed with their physique and fitness look exactly complentatary to this sponge of a guy, sorry.
    He sure didn’t go to a gym or did some other real sports activity on a meaningful and relevant level and to a needed extent. The very opposite of a sports guy.
    Punching and “beating” a punching ball that does not hit back every now and then in a “fight” for a placebo/alibi imaginary sports activity that is not real is not sports, and obviously does do nothing.
    So much for his physique and outer appearance as a sponge.
    Regarding the endurance fitness the facts are likewise pathetic. A few of his idiot and pathological lying mor(m) on friends said he went running and cycling and whatnot – yet you can only see him slightly moving his right wrist on a snowmobile or a quad bike, which has not anything to do with sports whatsoever, motor vehicles are only for losers who want to have the imagination of doing sports.
    Both, running and cycling, however ARE mainly endurance sports, especially running, and I guarantee you NOBODY who does either of these or evev both just remotely serious is that overweight and has this fleshy/spongy/fatty outer appearance with not even traces of visible muscles. That is if you don’t only do alibi runs or bike rides to the bakery around the corner for more donuts lol. He would have probably collapsed and died instantly if he had to run as few as a half marathon, or even less.
    My point is there were dreams about fitness and physique but no reality to it at all, and he obviously saw an altered reality like being on drugs when he looked into the mirror, for instance when he seriously compared himself with a “Men’s Health model” or a “Triathlete” lol, while he in fact was the very opposite of both, regarding face/looks and body. and just everything.

    Why I even write this although I could give a rat’s ass about how fat and unfit other people are, or especially this in all aspects of life worthless douchebag? 19. Sorry I’ve been away. Just felt if it wasn’t talked about so much it would fade away so Jodi’s lawyers could do there job with out the media. Time after time they put her in the limelight for $$$. The spread there words of Travis was a saint, Jodi killed him because he she was jealous. They are so wrong just can’t get over how hear say is truth. To those reading here jodi was going to move on with her life find a new guy. Travis had confided in her about things he didn’t want the church or his many woman he was persuaded to bed and marry. If Jodi were to leave him she could go to church elders and tell them things. I think he knew it could happen. The day in the bathroom after being up for a few day with no sleep may have side affects like anger when she dropped the camera he lost it. She did what she could do to survive. There are to many unanswered question. Evidence missing or tampered with. Martinez acting crazy over charged. Used media to get control in courtroom. All I can say is time will tell if her lawyers can prove she never received a fair trial. It was a circus with to many side bars. The jury would have to turn to the media to find out what was happening because they didn’t while in court.

    May the tide change in your favor Jodi. May the real truth be told and accepted. Let hear-sayers that lied about you may god take care of them. But I’m sure KARMA has visited a few already. It was a struggle for me at first trying to get it to work but a dear friend a Jodi’s walked me threw it using messenger. Not great writer like Pandora. She’s so funny. I miss everyone that use to post here. We had some very good thinkers that discovered things in the Flores report. Theses were the days.

    • Until I’ve read your comment I always thought “Twas” was some kind of typo or something and I couldn’t make any sense of it. It’s not my mother language and I never saw that before, and I didn’t really care either since the MySpace post was understandable without that.
      Due to your post I finally looked it up though, and bingo, learned something lol, thanks. 🙂

      And yes, there are quite a few indications that this is not just a pitiful and not funny joke but genuine and serious, the probation part probably the strongest one since yes, he violated core rules of that cult before and was under big brother’s watch so to say, and this cult is very invasive regarding your private life, don’t show up for church and they will show up at your door in no time for instance.

      It’s the same with the pedo letter/confession. The wrong date, 2007 instead of 2008 as a typical mistake not very alert/bright people make at the beginning of a year, is also a very strong inducator for that letter just being what it seems to be, a confession.

    I think that even without Chad’s testimony from either side of the aisle. Jodi won that part of her trial with the recordings. Chad’s posts would have been a “cherry on top” for Jodi’s depiction of him. However, I will continue to say that Travis’s penchant for anger is still the crux of this case and will always be. Jodi’s central claim is an angry outburst/attack based on the dropping of a camera on a bathroom floor. People have gotten angry and even committed murder for less as we all know from all the crime shows on TV. The only difference here is that this was an attack that occurred in two stages.
    Regarding the phrase from Chad about probation, I was thinking LEGAL probation. Obviously, I was wrong as Chad was referring to CHURCH probation!
    One of the first things that really caught my attention was all of the publicity about him being highly successful YET not having enough gas money to get to OKC. 28. BTW, what do you guys think about the Ezra McCandless and Britttany Zamora cases (I think the latter is even with Jodi in Perryville).

    About the 1st one I think there’s not enough evidence at all for 1st degree, just like with Jodi, it’s the same made-up out of their demented and degenerated asses “certainty” (sentence pending but possibly the same Jodi got – no dp on the table though) and deliberating only 3 hours total for such a complex case and after 3 or 4 weeks trial and also like 30 minutes after ordering video evidence worth hours of watchting is ridiculous and absurd.

    The 2nd one, well, 20 years for having sex with a 13 y/o rather mature boy who was very into this as well and not forced or shy or anything at all is absurd as well. He was also very obsessed with her in general prior to all of that.
    It sure is not ok and must be punished, and technically it’s of course the same as if a male teacher would have done that with a girl. But only technically.
    I’m pretty sure a girl usually would not receive high fives for that from her schoolmates while a boy usually would and he sure has. Also his parents were pretty quick making money out of it, successfully, like 2 millions I believe.
    However, in any case, 20 years for that, even as a plea deal and that being a MINIMUM sentence is ridiculous when murder has sentences of 25 years to life, and manslaughter/etc. even less.
    My opinion is that this justice system is just whacko!
    I cannort support any jury system that does not demand IQ tests and a minimum IQ for jurors anyway. Look at all the knuckle draggers who were in Jodis’s jury (quite a few according to interviews after the trial).
    It’s ridiculous when people with minor IQs and an attention span like a brick of wood and all deficits that come with this, like most of the “Jeffrey Epstein of Mesa” supporters in out case here decide over the life of others, even in very complex cases that go far beyond their intellecutal abilities.

    Any thoughts?

30. I will be watching this later this month without commercials. From what I am hearing, It seems to be more of Travis’ friends speak instead of Jodi’s friends????
    BTW, I just noticed Frank’s new nickname for Travis above… WOW!
    If I remember correctly, the foreman stated that Jodi was obviously guilty but did not qualify for the death penalty because she had 28 years of prior clean living. I would imagine Jodi would have thought twice about doing the T-shirt during her statement as I remember several jurors being visibly angry at her for that.
    I am assuming they are talking to the same people that have been interviewed for all the other tabloid shows on this case who will say the EXACT same thing they have always said. I am curious how many of Jodi’s friends decide to finally speak up 11 years after the fact???

The state wants to take over a former prison now motel and convert it back to a prison as they are anticipating a higher female incarceration rate in AZ. The ACLU is pushing back. The article says that the prison is 67 beds over capacity.

31. So the title of the show is a lie!! Its not Jodi friends who speak! I give Dr. Laviolette a lot of credit for speaking up again considering what she has already endured. The REELZ channel has some really good content on it and I watch a lot of it but I doubt I will watch this now. Ryan Burns is nothing more than a spurned never was possible boyfriend who was pissed that he couldn’t get laid when she ended up at his house and just took a nap! I would imagine Chad Perkins doesn’t mention his pedo comments at all?
    I actually thought Darryl might speak again but apparently I was wrong!

            • The whole show is approximately 2 hours long. Chris Hughes dominates the show with a lot of his first hand accounts of being around Jodi. This has been the narrative from Day 1 that Jodi was clingy and odd in her behavior which everybody has agreed to. The part that they conveniently leave out is when Ryan shows the house that Jodi lived in in Mesa, he does not mention that Jodi moved back to Mesa because Travis asked her to and helped her move in and helped financially???? Not pertinent??…. hmmm!
