  1. I think I am the first to make a comment! Horray! Wish all yall Jodi supporters a great day! I can;t wait to watch these videos, if I have time. Should be able to watch at least some of it. However, can anyone fill me in on the letters from Travis. Were they forged you think? I’d like to find out who the experts were of both the prosecution and defense as well as what scientific evaluation was used by the prosecution to determine these letters to be forged. What the experts had to say also. Hope all yall Jodi supporters have a great day!

    • Hi Ryan –

In the documents I can find archived here on site regarding those letters, the state doesn’t specifically assert that they are forged. The state argues that they constitute hearsay, do not qualify for any exception to the hearsay rule, they are not probative or relevant, and they are duplicates that cannot be authenticated. (the document HINTS that they may be forged or photoshopped, but only to demonstrate that they are unauthenticated ‘duplicates’).

The ONLY mention I see of any handwriting expert is in analysis of Jodi’s journals – an Alan Krietl compared 12 pages of Jodi’s known handwriting to three volumes of her journals.

      • Hey there Journee. Can you tell me what to put in the search box to find the information about these letters. I tried to put in Travis Alexander letters. That didn’t work to get the documents. SJ, you spoke of the defense’s expert that said the letters were most likely written by Travis. However, can you please give me the name of this expert Simon?

        • Ryan – go to the headers at the top of the page and click on “Court Docs”

First section says PreTrial Documents, next is 2013 Documents & Motions, below that section is a single link for “Jodi Arias – Court Documents” that includes several items. You’ll have to scroll down a bit to get to the motion about the letters.

          • Thanks again Journee! This should be the last question. You have been very helpful to me. Can you tell me why and when Jodi disposed of the original letters that she received from Travis?

  2. I had to rewrite hope yall Jodi supporters have a great day. I didn’t see that somehow I was writing at the top of the comment when I did.

  3. I have a question about how Juan tried to explain the bits of rope found near the shower.

Someone told me Juan suggested it could have been Tassels from some pillows.

Has anyone got a photo of the pillows?

    • No close ups, that I know of. Just the photos of the bedroom before they removed the furniture. Some decorative pillows in that wide chair, I think.

  4. Watching witnesses like ALV or in this video Gus Searcy ripping Kermit a new one is so freaking awesome!!! I LOVE IT! I wanna take a bag of popcorn, sit back and enjoy it! Especially when Kermit starts jumping up and down, screaming at the top of his lungs, tapping his foot and crawling back to mommy Stephens ”objection! non responsive” AHAHAHAHA! He seems like a 5 year-old bullied at school, poor Juan he cannot hide the fact that he is full of complexes…

Go to 0:43:35 of that day, I could just watch and re-watch it all day long!

  5. Watching Gus Searcy being interrogated by Kermit is so blood boiling. He is using interrogation tactics to try and stress Gus out on the stand! I wish that Jodi’s team were a bit more aggressive and on the ball with this!
