So with Christmas just a few days away – I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past 9 years – and thank you in advance for your continued support moving forward through 2022 and beyond.

Here’s Jodi’s Christmas Message:
“Hi, Everyone!
“We don’t need the New Year to refocus our goals and aspirations, but it’s always a great reminder to do just that. A friend of mine asked me around this time last year, “What do you want to accomplish in 2021?” Off the cuff, I answered, “I wanna write a book.” She said, “Me, too. Let’s do it.” Then, neither of us did.
“Instead, I decided to take another college course, thinking I could work on that and write a book (and hold down a job and churn out beautiful art and…) I told another friend in a celebratory tone, “Degree, here I come!” But the course taught me something I did not expect to learn about myself: that I don’t want a degree that badly. I’m glad to be finishing with a 4.0 and I’ll be glad to soon have it behind me, but I think I hated it. I’ll definitely not be taking anymore courses in the near future.
“As for the book I probably won’t get around to writing, of the few people with whom I’ve shared my idea, one was a naysaying nag and the rest had really big reactions. So let me just stem any excitement about this tentative project: I will not be publishing this book in my name, I will (probably) not promote it as one I have written, and it would be a very niche, nonfiction topic that would only draw a small audience of readers — if any. The goal is not to sell copies. I just want to get it written because when I went looking for this exact kind of book just over a year ago, it didn’t seem to exist.
“Enough of that. I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas or whatever you might be celebrating, and a very happy New Year. Thank you all for your warm love, your undeserved kindness, and your steadfast support.
“Much love and gratitude to you always!”

ArtByJodiArias.com – UPDATE
Jodi’s personal efforts to raise money for her appeals continue through the production of her art, which is sold at ArtbyJodiArias.com. Her art admin supports her efforts by running this “side hustle” of sorts on her behalf and taking none of the funds. The time and effort he devotes to this process (filing the taxes, trips to the post office every week to ship art) are an invaluable contribution.
If you are interested in another way to contribute to the cause, any purchase at ArtbyJodiArias.com is a legitimate way to support Jodi. You can also check out Jodi’s art on Instagram @ArtbyJodiArias.

To finish off this festive update, here’s our all-time #1 favorite Jodi-Christmas classic — “O Holy Night.”
Just like me, it never gets old.
Btw… I was planning to liven things up a little this year, and go with one of my other yuletide faves: “Snowflakes Melting On An Open Fire” – but ultimately opted to play it safe with “O Holy Night.” Enjoy!
And Remember folks… as I always say – each day that passes takes us one day closer to Jodi’s release date.

I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a safe, peaceful & prosperous 2022.

Merry Christmas to JAII and Jodi!!! I would imagine that Jodi was not that surprised with the reactions that she got regarding her book idea. I do think it is a shame that she does not want to continue her education which may or may not be related to her current sentence which she feels would be a “waste of time”. I do think she should reevaluate that decision but that is just me. I would also say that Jodi’s book idea would be very powerful if she had not suffered from the PTSD issues that caused her to lose her memory of the life/death struggle that she went through. I have watched alot of true crime shows in my day and many times, the PD will usually fill in the blanks with their beliefs and circumstantial evidence. I do think that Jodi could make a very big difference if she devoted her time to educating women on domestic violence.
I will also say that I am disappointed that some other former members did not want to obey the rules and got booted out of the forum. I want Jodi to know that I know the true story like everybody else here but the truth has been able to hide itself behind bad judgement and emotional baggage on the other side and it distorts the real narrative.
Happy New Year to all of JAII including the ones who haven’t posted in a while(Pandora, Maria etc) and I look forward to 2022 when Covid becomes a flu 🙂
A new year, new goals, new dreams. All these I wish for Jodi and all those who support her. I understand why she would not write that book right now and I too hope that there is a spark lit to inspire interest in furthering her education at some point. There is always something to learn which helps to keep us alive and hopefull. Happy New Year JAII and of course hoping that this is the year for Jodi.
Happy New Year Team Jodi! Wonderful to hear from Jodi and hoping one day she will change her mind on furthering her education. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for her, but she has accomplished so much in that “place”. 4.0 WOW I’m so proud of her! Onward we go headed for FREEDOM for our JODI! Hoping and praying 2022 will be the year!
I’m told A&E’s program “Taking the stand” tonight at 10 pm ET is about Jodi’s trial testimony. Let’s hope it’s not narrated by Nurmi. I expect to turn it off around 10:05.
Unfortunately, pure garbage. It even claims Jodi dyed her hair after killing Travis and before going to Salt Lake City, which no one has ever said.
Is there no way that something can’t be done about the misinformation that the media continues to spew into the airways? Somehow, somewhere they should be held accountable for the outright lies. Sickening.
I’m a big Jodi supporter and I have been writing to her lately. I don’t expect her to reply, I guess she is too famous to respond to all her supporters, but I heard she likes to get mail and I’m sure another word of care and support is good for her morale.
I hope you are well Jodi, I feel for you. You are a victim of bad circumstance and now your life has all been taken away from you.
We are with you Jodi, you have a huge base of support.
Thank you, Ted for sending her words of encouragement. I’m positive she appreciates your effort, and you probably will hear from her eventually. We all need to remember to keep sending her cards and letters. It means a great deal to her. Onward towards Freedom for Jodi!!!!
