I don’t know what to believe anymore. I think Travis was a phony. Come on, there’s no such thing as a 30 year old virgin! Obviously, he wasn’t as squeaky clean as he wanted people to believe. Typical religious hypocrisy. I’m just bothered that Jodi lied so much…I wish she would have just said from day one that he abused her. I am very intrigued by the theory that the Mormon church killed Travis as a blood atonement. I actually don’t think that is totally unrealistic. And what about Travis’s roommate whose wife anonymously tipped off the police? Why are we not hearing more about that? I think Alyce LaViolette is turning out to be an invaluable witness. I’ve been on two Arizona criminal juries, and there is no way they will give Jodi life in prison, much less death. I predict she’ll get a couple of years in prison, get out, write a book, and become a millionaire.
That’s pretty optimistic. I realize this was written before the end of the trial, but from what I’ve observed there were extenuating circumstances. She’s now awaiting a retrial on the sentence. Why haven’t we heard anything about an appeal ? I think much more could have been covered in the first trial.
