    • Comparing her to the BTK killer? OMG there is a big difference- he killed several women over several years after stalking them. He was, and is a super danger to society. That man is comparable to the movie Silence of the Lambs! I think that is so wrong of HLN. Then, also tonight they are trying to turn this into another Casey Anthony case by comparing her as the most hated woman in America. Unlike Casey Anthony- I don’t feel that Jodi is the most hated woman in the USA. Casey Anthony killed her own little girl for freedom. People don’t like Casey because she could have given up rights to the grandparents, or other family members instead of killing her child . I feel Jodi is guilty of killing Travis, but once again I feel this case is overcharged. If they are going to compare this to the BTK who killed many woman,, then they should compare drunk drivers to the BTK killer. There are people who kill another person via drunk driving- Sure, if someone killed a friend or family member via drinking I’d be mad and want them to die, but legally that’s insane. Drunk Drivers who kill another person due to being intoxicated are guilty of vehicular manslaughter. I feel this case should have been manslaughter – she killed while impaired due to her borderline and bipolar disorder. Perhaps Travis pushed her buttons too far, and she was not able to control her anger- this happens to people who have bipolar or borderline personality disorder. Mental health issues such as these can be treated with medication. Drunk Drivers take classes to learn how to live sober, and Jodi needs to take classes and medication to help Jodi understand why and how she did this. There is definitely a need for Jodi to get some help. There is also a big need to sequester the jury.

    • Jodi At least one person sees the light in the jury… I am sure that this person is going to hold their ground…. I pray for an impasse or LIFE. I thiink its a great sign. Just wanted to send you a shout out to remind you that just as your cousin said you have so much hope more than even after tommorrow….. appeals and opportunities you have so much left to teach us all and America loves you. You have us enthralled. Nobody wants you gone.. we love having you here your pretty bright smile and eloquent words and works. You are way more than your worst day.. Just shows how much emotion passion you had for love… life, hang in there cookie.

      • Sara well said I am hoping its more than one person and they hold their ground and the judge lets them go and JM’s boss tells him to make a deal with Jodi.

        • Yes of course more than one hopefully but like I said at least one. Our Father who art in Heaven Holy be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today the verdict we desire we deserve.. Please God give us life…. give us women hope. Give us love. Please God give us Jodi. We need her here. We need her as an example of strength humbleness. love beauty. Please God be with her family…. be with Jodi… Be with the other side to take the verdict with dignity and peace. Jesus Christ in heaven forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. FAITH LOVE HOPE of these three today we need them all.

    • I think we will see a verdict today. I’m not sure how I feel about a hung jury- I’d rather just get the sentence now and start appeals.

      • I agree. We want a sentence today so that Jodi can wake up tomorrow getting ready for an appeal.

      • If it is hung where are they going to get fair and impartial people to serve on this jury? The media coverage is insane. Why won’t they just make a deal with her and let this be done JM is letting his big ego get in the way of justice.

    • Renee, I’m not sure when a verdict will return. I will say this, though….I am glad the jury was hung this morning because that gives me hope that at least one juror was against the DP. What scares me though is the scenario that there is only *one* juror against DP and the rest of the jurors bully that person into their way of thinking. Jodi can still appeal the verdict if she gets life and her quality of living will be so much better in the meantime while she traverses through the appeals process. Praying, praying, praying!

  1. Another Hail Mary is said at my House I hope that the one juror is a Catholic in the mix

    • Yes, Yes, a Christian! Just one who really believes in Jesus as Lord and in Mercy! Just one! or better yet, let the verdict just be life! and then on with the appeals! I am so tired of this circus. as I have said so many times, a civilized country doesn’t even need the death sentence anyway. when will this world ever become civilized? So tired of HLN and all the Mob mentality.. and all the side shows, and all the Lynce Mob outside the courthouse doors… and all the HLN shows who have tired this case! as soon as this is over and the verdict is read, I never ever intend to watch that network again or CNN it’s sister network. Never! I will continue though, to pray for Jodi and for her life and future and a new trial.

      • My feelings exactly! I have been boycotting HLN for at least 2 months now. I wish there could be something we can do to kick them off the air or hold them accountable for their biased incompetent reporting!

      • I’m now holding both of my grandmother’s Rosary beads (my Italian grandmother was close to a saint, I swear) and asking God to give strength and courage to the members of the jury holding out. Keep them strong and focused. Give Jodi her life on behalf of all abused woman/men.. help these jury members to stop this madness, and come to their senses. Give your precious angel a life she can live..she can and will make a difference…..Amen

        • My grand mother too I have her mother’s rosary and I to was told that she saw the Virgin Mary after kneeling for days praying for the war to end I to am saying the rosary today

      • Hail Mary, here, too ~ Romans 12:19 ~ (and I’m no bible thumper, but this one is really clear)

      • I did a hail mary once, but the receiver dropped the ball.

Oh, thats not what you meant…sorry. oops

    • I don’t think a Catholic could get on that jury. Would they be able to be “death penalty qualified”?

    • So True, Milan…. fellow Catholic here. Some Jodi haters have really made me feel like a piece of dirt lately. I Tweeted one of the lawyers on HLN and asked for prayer and compassion for Jodi for once…. and he responded by saying “in what delusional world do you live in”? It was Joey Jackson… pitiful!!! I am just so happy someone in the jury is standing their ground , I pray Jesus , Mary & Joseph to save Jodi, and give this juror the strength to continue holding out. Never have I seen such hatred as I have seen for Jodi …. HLN $$$ is so important to people that they will put someone to death ! And the HLN viewers are just as bad, they want to be in the spotlight as a Jodi Hater!

  2. I have to admit I kind of like Beth Karas. She explains things that I don’t understand.

    • I used to like her and Jean a lot – back during CA trial the two of them seemed to try to be objective. I think they’ve been under pressure to do otherwise this time around.

      • I agree. I think Jean is biased but not as bad as the rest. Beth Karas has her moments but she tends to explain things more.

      • ITA I think they are feeling the pressure from HLN. I’ve seen on more than one occasion Jean making a pro defense sort of a comment and they jump down her throat especially when she’s on with NG. Same thing with Beth she has not joined in on the party line quite a few times and then they start in on her and she starts to cave a bit.

    • Vinnie Politan or however you spell it is a weirdo, he thinks he’s very cool. Delusions of grandeur. I think all of HLN has this problem. Maybe they should all talk to Dr. Douche about it.

      • It’s all about money on HLN. I used to like them now I realize it’s all about hating people and money. This entire case makes me sick. Vinnie, he is a toad!

      • I agree! I love how he was begging people to follow him on Twitter because he would have the verdict first.

    • Beth seems to be the least sensationalistic, a little more down to earth. I’ve actually seen her roll her eyes at something the DisGrace was ranting about…

      • I know. Nancy is the absolute worst. She cuts anyone off on her panel who disagrees with her and rarely lets anyone finish their sentences.

    • Beth & Jean seem like the most almost reasonable on there on site court observations sometimes. Although I don’t like the monster (HLN) they work for.. All the rest of the gang got tweets from me.

    • Beth surprised me this morning by actually saying something in favor of Jodi…. Bet HLN told her to “quit” …. they went to commercial real quick too.

  3. wild tweeted

The buzz in here is that the jury will be hung if they are already unable to agree in such a short amount of time.

  4. I would like to see JM & TA’s family
not get what they are ferociously
    fiending for!
Hung Jury would make my day.
Anything to make HLN & Nancy Implode!

  5. Just tuned in muted HLN for a few minutes since weeks ago. All the hosts look like they’re getting fat.

    • LOL… that’s an idea.. muted huh? Hadn’t thought of doing that… like to check in on them once in a while for a minute or so, just to remind myself not to be like them…” EVIL &UGLY”… .

  6. Hi family! I was ranting of course on the other page, lol. I truly hope that the jurors who are against the death penalty stay true to their convictions! Also I find it so disgusting that the Alexanders sent out a tweet for the whole world to pray for the jurors to impose the death penalty!

    • They did? Disgusting! Pray for someone to die!? Thank you but no thank you I would like to keep my soul.

    • Fuck that band of motley felons. I bet if shoplifting, burglary, impersonating someone upon arrest, drug use, and assault carried the death penalty, they’d be singing a different tune.

      • Hi Kira, were all 4 sibs convicted of at least one felony or did some sibs just get a misdemeanor conviction? I can’t find the criminal case report links that came up a few days ago as I’m still trying to get through this morning’s posts.

    • How are they any different than Jodi? They want her life for TA’s death. Murder is murder no matter who does it.

      • Patty, Killing someone who’s attacking you to save your life is not murder—it’s self-defense. Killing someone just because you want to or because you can is murder. What that slime from hell and his followers are trying to do to JODI is MURDER beyond the first degree! Why, because she is innocent—THAT’ WHY!!!!! If every person who had to kill someone to save their own life were put to death because they killed —–then where does that leave our servicemen/servicewomen and people in law enforcement?

  7. this is how haters pray: (they have a different God than I, apparently)

In the name of Jesus, that you permeate every inch of that deliberation room, flood the room with your comforting presence….open closed minds….fill each juror with courage and clarity as well as wisdom to speak convincing truth to those who are scared and undecided.

Please, Lord. Fill these jurors with a peace that goes beyond their ability to comprehend it. Allow them the blessed assurance and clarification that THEY are not killing Jodi, that SHE chose this with the decision to end life, HERS and TRAVIS”S on June 4th. help the jurors to understand her ability to continue to inflict pain on his family from anywhere but death row.

    …Amen

    • So………………….. is this “God” they pray to one that kills his children because 50,000 SUCKER$ are praying about something they have no REAL knowledge of?

If that is God, I am converting to atheism.

      • No renee,

That is how they define their man made doctrines about God.

      • That is the devil that they pray too…they are so full of evil they do not see or hear from God…what they hear are the whisperings of the devil in their ears…and their unforgiveness feeds the devil in their lives…

God does not live in the hearts of wickedness…

      • I have been an atheist most of my life. It is freeing and I don’t have to deal with such hypocrisy and guilt. I live a life of reason and I believe in science. It is the only thing we have been proven exists.

      • Renee’ says:

        Reply

        I Agree Renee,
Enough of their “in Gods name”

      • Modern day Pharisees! God will not be mocked and they will have to answer for their hatred.

    • It sounds like if they are praying to Lord Satan. I think that that is their God.

    • Yes Jessie, you are so right. we don’t live under that type of bondage. If we believe in Jesus the son of God we are to walk in forgiveness. Let us keep praying for Jodi. I pray that she will over come this and get a New Trial! our entire justice system needs fixing. No more media coverage of capital punishment crimes! ever! this has to stop – especially if the jury is not sequestered. Pray Pray for Mercy for Jodi, and pray that God send his power to show that jury they would be killing her and it is so WRONG!

      • I am and I have been praying for Jodi since I first heard about this trial. You are right, real Christians practice the teachings of Jesus. And I am pretty sure he taught compassion, forgiveness and turning the other cheek.

  8. I am not pro Death Penalty…..I hope the U.S. gets rid of it. It is costly, it is unfair as innocent people die, it means that vengence is the motive and there is no chance for people who really do change.

  9. I assume they are talking about Samantha (aka bloodthirsty money hungry scam artist) in this tweet..it said ” ‏Travis’ sister in tears as jury note read about unable to come to unanimous decision”

Then the judge sends the jury back urging them to come to a decision ….Samantha should of been barred from the court room…trying to influence the jury because she wants Jodi to be sentenced to death that bad..who’s the killer now —-cant stand the Alexandar siblings …

    • Samantha probably has a new sports car picked out to buy with her “woe is me” money that she swindled from those mormon sheeple and the trailer park trash brigade.

  10. Al, AA, Someone… i need someone to work this out with me….

So, the rules are, in AZ, that they will next try to bring in a NEW jury, JUST for the life/DP part.

Ok, we all know that the value of a jury is that it is supposed to be a “jury of our peers”.

We also know that every single “peer” would know about this trial by now. Shit, the 2 largest TA/JA sites are ran by people outside our country…that tells you this is BIG news everywhere.

We know that in order to be unbiased/tainted, you cannot have talked to, watched, heard about, texted, read ANYTHING about this trial, before you are able to be a juror or WHILE you are a juror.

So, please, tell me how ANYONE could find 15..16…17…18 jurors to sit on a NEW jury that meet these qualifications? Wouldn’t the mere fact that they didn’t even know about this trial show they are “not from the PEER group”. Hoenstly, you have to have your head up your own ass pretty far to not have heard about this or seen SOMETHING. ALSO, how do you stop one..two…three of the “Haters” from lying and getting on the jury, if they happened to be called.

To Be Honest, I’ll admit, If I was to get a call, IF I LIVED IN AZ, I would lie through my teeth. I would not admit that I know what I know, and I would tear that jury apart when they picked me for the jury. I don’t respect the system, I don’t respect the AZ legal process and I don’t respect the state’s office. Lying to them to save Jodi’s life, would be an HONOR. I know, I know, I would have to “swear to the god of my choice” as an “oath. I believe in 2 oaths. The one I took when I joined the Navy and the one I said when I married my ex-wife. (Ex, yes, just because she didn’t believe in it, doesn’t mean I still don’t) And, if god turns out to be “real”…he better understand why I did what I did or I don’t want to go to his heaven anyway.

Also, a bit more startling is the idea that they would bring in a new jury, JUST for this phase. How could they get all the info they need to decide the facts of the case? They don’t have to determine guilt, but they need to go FARTHER than just determining guilt and make an informed decision on life or death, as the judge instructed, “BASED ON EVERYTHING YOU HAVE HEARD IN ALL PHASES OF THE TRIAL”.

They can’t honestly think they are going to do a whole new trial for the new jury THEN skip the “guilty/innocent” part of the trial, force the jury to believe that she is now guilty and THEN somehow decide life/death.

They can’t do a “snap shot” of the whole trial, as that doesn’t give either party the full weight of the evidence it has presented.

Can’t one of the Mormons just pray to zooloo, ask him to give Travis a “retry” at life, and we can all go home and abuse our OWN family like we did back in the good ole days, before this trial started?

    • Sir, there is not one untainted juror left in the world. Even we are not untainted, because we have brains and have spent countless hours pouring over documents, pictures, testimony, video, pictures….

we have used critical thinking skills and we have matched evidence with reality and have found truth.

Ethically, we couldn’t be on that jury. Ethically, there is not one other human at this time who can or should be the judge of Jodi. She is innocent. Yet, the fucking world sentenced her to death.

I wish she would have been tried by a judge only…but a REAL judge, not some bobble-headed wench that is giving Juanabee head in chambers every time there is a secret meeting.

        • Mr. T….

Where the hell have you been???!?!?!?!? I was thinking about getting our posse together to hunt you down….!

          • Janeen! PLEASE don’t get the posse to come after me!!! I’d hate to think what all of your bad-ass women would do to me once you caught me.lol

            • Danke for that email too Renee’.:-) I do have to admit that I would not mind being hunted down by all of you. I would probably enjoy some of the abuse you dish out to me.LOL:-)

              • Oh I know you’d all just go BRUTAL on me!lol I’d be hog tied, punched on, kicked on, and even spat on, and pissed on by all of you!lmao:-)

                • Yep……been gone so long I thought maybe you were an undercover troll tony!!!!!

                • Now Tony what makes you believe that you would EVER be that mean? OOOOOOhhhhhhhhh ya now I remember LOL We would of went easy on you LOL

                • Well Jennifer, I did say that I might just enjoy some abuse by all of you nice ladies.:-)lol

      • They would not want us on their jury because the very most Jodi would get would be manslaughter and only because she admitted killing him.

      • You know, there actually are people who haven’t paid ANY attention to this trial out there. Whether or not they exist in Maricopa county, I don’t know. But I’ve had FB friends say “Jodi who?”

        • But usually when i find one of these people, and explain “that woman on trial in AZ, that killed her boyfrriend…” They go “oh yah, i heard a bit about it, didnt know her name, or oh yah, someone was talking about that at work..etc..

Like i said, if someone really had not heard of ANYTHING about this, would you consider them a good sampling of the “peer group”?

          • Well, I didn’t know anything at all about Casey Anthony, or what the hullabaloo was. I saw people on FB mention her name a few times during her trial. But I didn’t know what she was even on trial for.

    • I don’t understand how a new jury can be shown “all” the evidence and then said by the way she was found guilty so what do you think DP or no. That doesn’t even make sense.

I could see wanting to lie to be on the jury. I would want to do the same thing. But I am too chicken. Even though they are all stupid I would think they would look at my computer and know I sent postcards to Jodi.

    • Sirlips,

What you say is very true. However, the courts in their wisdom have found a way out of this mess. They trust the jury at its word. (I know sound like a “What, me worry?” moment). So the process is as follows:

      1. They form a panel of potential jurors.
      2. They ask who hasn’t heard about the case – and they take their word for it and they’re in.
      3. If they can’t get a full jury panel, then they ask “Who amongst you is willing to put aside what you have heard and is willing to form his mind on what will be presented in the court?”. And those who say yes are in.
      4. If they still can’t find enough folks they move venues to another county and repeat the above.
      5. If they still can’t fill a panel they wait for some time – the logic here is that a delay lets people forget and now its all copacetic. Then they do it all over again.

And that apparently satisfies justice, though it defies the heck out of common sense.

And so your plan of lying your ass off would just work. You’d be in like Flynn, watching JM cream pie Pickles. And no one would be the wiser.

And I don’t know what they would do with the penalty phase. In theory the penalty phase has nothing to do with the conviction – Just like Pickles said yesterday. Its just a matter of balancing aggravation against mitigation. So JM could argue that all they needed was the aggravation/mitigation argument and Pickles could agree. Of course Pickles would probably agree if JM said the moon was a cream cheese pie.

        • Here’s a page from

          https://www.bc.edu/dam/files/schools/law/lawreviews/journals/bclawr/44_3/06_FMS.htm

“In Sheppard, the United States Supreme Court stated that postponement is an action that a trial judge can take to guarantee an impartial jury because it delays the trial until the threat of prejudicial pretrial publicity abates or dies out.109 The assumption behind postponement is that public attention surrounding a case will actually fade over time.110 Moreover, trial courts assume that the lapse of time between the appearance of prejudicial news and the trial not only will diminish potential jurors’ ability to remember details of a case heard before the trial but also will allow jurors to set aside biases formed before the beginning of the trial.111”

          • The court must think the public is a bunch of dimwits with special “wrinkle resistant” brains.

          • OMG! That was back in the 60s though when people didn’t have internet or even TV. I wonder if that has since been overruled by a subsequent opinion.

            • Actually there are later decisions echoing the same. The other ref. in the passage is from a CA decision in the 80s. I’d originally found this in some FL case, but need more searching. The FL case was from the 90s.

              • OMG this needs to be reviewed. Nothing dies on the internet EVER! Times have changed a LOT since the 90s.

      • LOL, i just poured acid into my eye for having read such craziness.

Wow..but like i said, WAYYYYYYY back in the begining, im here to see justice, or find out how to use this to fix the broken justice system. This is good, in that regard, as it is supplying us with TONS of examples of how the system needs to be fixed.

    • Sirlips, this is one part of the law in AZ that I really do not understand and I’m not much help on at all. I can’t even bring myself to read about it much because just about every single thing to do with the death penalty literally turns my stomach and if I start reading, I just run end up puking. Maybe Al has read up on it. He’s American and I know he’s against the death penalty, but maybe it’s a little easier for him to read up on this stuff because he grew up with it being legal to kill people convicted of crimes. Whereas, I grew up believing it’s barbaric.

I almost wanted to better understand this myself and tried reading on the WebSleuths Legal Q&A forum because I am pretty sure that Arizona Lawyer person over there has answered in more detail about this. But quite honestly, his/her extreme bias makes me physically vomit and I just can’t stand even to read the answers, let alone the questions. (For example, I get as far as this person saying Jodi has NO friends, or Jodi’s lawyers are trying to withdraw because Jodi wants them to do something unethical, or any death threats to any witness were orchestrated by Jodi using Donavan, and I just can’t take another second of it.) If you can stomach it, read the last 10-15 pages over there as I think it’s been discussed somewhere.

From the little I’ve read yes, if this jury is hung for the penalty phase, they would summon a new venire. I assume there would have to be new voir dire to select/reject the final jurors because how else could they select them?

My extremely limited understanding is that once the new jury is impaneled (and I assume they’d have to select alternates for this phase as well), some sort of limited information about the case would be presented to them, but I’m not honestly sure by whom. Perhaps it would be some sort of written statement? They would be instructed that she was convicted and the aggravation factor of extreme cruelty applied.

That’s about all I know or can stomach thinking about, sorry.

      • I’m at a loss too. The AZ instructions say

“You are to apply the law to the evidence and in this way decide whether the defendant
will be sentenced to life imprisonment or death.
The evidence you shall consider consists of the testimony [and exhibits] the court
admitted in evidence during the trial of this case, during the first part of the sentencing
hearing, and during the second part of the sentencing hearing.”

        It also says

“During the first part of the sentencing hearing, you found that the State had proved that
[a statutory aggravating circumstance exists] [statutory aggravating circumstances exist]
making the defendant eligible for the death sentence. ”

So the jury has to consider all of the evidence and also relies on the fact that it found for aggravation.

So where does a new jury start?

        Don’t know.

        • I assume the judge could provide modified instructions for the new panel???? It just seems so weird, doesn’t it?

          • Hung juries mormally remove the DP off the table. I wonder if this has actually ever happened. Until fairly recently DP sentences in AZ were rendered by the judge. The jury doing it is relatively new so it may not have had appellate review.

            • How can a new jury decide life or death when they haven’t watched the case and do not know the REAL facts of the case. That is like have a jury look at the charge with no evidence nothing but the charge and having to convict her or not of the accused crime. What are they baseing their decision on?

  11. I’ll tell you guys this has opened my eyes to the US justice system. It’s not something that I ever want to get caught up in.

    • All of these people rallying around hating on Jodi and begging for her to get the death penalty have no idea how serious this is. This trial has shown that any of us can be tried by the media. This is a monumental trial..I think it should go down in the history books as the most unfair trial ever.

    • Here are excerpts from Conrad Black about the justice system after being exonerated of a whole bunch of stuff they charged him with.

“The unfairness, hypocrisy, and barbarism of the American criminal justice system is increasingly the subject of serious comment.”

“Almost everything about the American system is wrong. Grand juries are a rubber stamp for the prosecutors; assets are routinely frozen or seized in ex parte actions on the basis of false government affidavits, so targets don’t have the resources to pay avaricious American counsel and are thrust into the hands of public defenders, who are usually just Judas goats for the prosecutors. The prosecutors poison the jury pool with a media lynching at the start; bail is often outrageously high, and prosecutions and ancillary proceedings, drag on for a whole decade, all contrary to the Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments. The plea bargain system, for which prosecutors would be disbarred in most other serious countries, enables prosecutors to threaten everyone around the target with indictment if they don’t miraculously recall, under careful government coaching, inculpatory evidence. Prosecutors win 95 per cent of their cases, 90 per cent of those without a trial, and people who exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to go to trial receive more than three times the sentence they receive if they cop a plea, as a penalty for exercising their rights.”

“Evidentiary and procedural rules are a stacked deck: the prosecutors speak last to the jury; most trial judges are ex-prosecutors who stitch up appeals in the courthouse lunch rooms; and the Supreme Court only takes 70 cases a year, is ostentatiously unconcerned with the facts and equity of cases, and only interprets and applies the law to ensure it is constitutional and uniform across the country. The sole defence the average American has against this evil, repulsive, and terroristic system is that America does not have the means or personnel to imprison more than one per cent of its adult population at any one time, though a stupefying 48 million Americans have a record.”

“It is enough for the media to be a pack of wolves when whistled up by the prosecutors. That is not tolerated in other mature countries but is routine here. The presumption of innocence, (is) as much ignored by the press as by the prosecutors. Nancy Grace and her ilk regularly demand the conviction of mere suspects.”

Conrad Moffat Black, Baron Black of Crossharbour, PC, OC, KSG is a Canadian-born former newspaper publisher, an historian, a columnist, a UK peer, and convicted felon for fraud who for a time headed the third-largest newspaper group in the world.

        1.
“the prosecutors speak last to the jury”
that was a vile, lawful, abuse in jodi’s case
i couldn’t find the law in arizona’s criminal code title 13 on that
prosecutor spoke twice and the defense was sandwiched in the middle
        what a malignant process

        2.
“The presumption of innocence, (is) as much ignored by the press as by the prosecutors. Nancy Grace and her ilk regularly demand the conviction of mere suspects.”
AND i would add judge stephens almost continously ignored the presumption of innocence

        3.
        “bail is often outrageously high,”
        this was jodi’s case
        4 1/2 – 5 years without bail
the problem’s source from what i saw was in arizona’s political criminal code, the us constitution
        it was an abomination

        4.
“public defenders, who are usually just Judas goats”
don’t accept that characterization as a “judas goats” without looking at the source, they’re deliberately overburdened and underfunded to put a superficial gloss of respectability on the entire sham

        5.
        “plea bargain system”
        all sorts of abuses
        overcharging
vast unfettered prosecutorial discretion is a related major abuse
no private criminal prosecutions as permitted in other english common law jurisdiction
        dreadful system

        6.
“more than three times the sentence they receive if they cop a plea,”
would need to examine the reference for that
        could be true

        • the us constitution doesn’t guarantee bail, only that it not be unreasonble
          az law should’ve allowed bail
even though capital cases etc have special provisions

        • True about his legal problems, but rarely will you see someone who has no problems kvetch about something.

          • i saw black’s statements not as kvetching, out of self interest, but though arising out of his troubles coming to a wider realization of important commnon interests among us all, enlightenment

and maybe wider than purely narrow legal interests ?

anyone who actually believes in justice, fairness, equality etc, the french put it “Liberté, égalité, fraternité”, supports such
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libert%C3%A9,_%C3%A9galit%C3%A9,_fraternit%C3%A9
            support such

that is not a idea which has popular appeal among those who have persecuted jodi, including the mormons

i’m not religious, but there is the parable of the good samaritan, a person from a despised group

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parable_of_the_Good_Samaritan

The parable of the Good Samaritan is a parable told by Jesus and is mentioned in only one of the gospels of the New Testament. According to the Gospel of Luke (10:29-37) a traveller (who may or may not be Jewish[1]) is beaten, robbed, and left half dead along the road. First a priest and then a Levite come by, but both avoid the man. Finally, a Samaritan comes by. Samaritans and Jews generally despised each other, but the Samaritan helps the injured man. Jesus is described as telling the parable in response to a question regarding the identity of the “neighbour” which Leviticus 19:18 says should be loved.

Portraying a Samaritan in positive light would have come as a shock to Jesus’ audience.[2] It is typical of his provocative speech in which conventional expectations are inverted.[2]

    • Ohh,Danielle.Being a foreigner,if only you knew how I feel about the american justice system. It’s like a constant WTF?? And to think I’ve always dreamt of having the opportunity to move there one day.I m kinda having seconds thoughts right now 🙂

  12. I know, all of the eye rolling and huffing and puffing and crying and on and on, I thought the gallery was NOT supposed to show any emotion as to NOT sway the jury! The judge should have admonished the Alexanders to knock it off! The judge is completely biased in my opinion.

    • Shit, Tanisha was kicked out of chambers already due to inappropriate conduct.

      • They figured it was their one last pitiful attempt to sway the jury with their theatrical crying, sniffling, faces distorted in agony. I especially enjoyed the panic striken looks of Chris Hughes and the brother. I think I even saw Hughes’ wife trying to squeeze out a fake tear.

        • Almeida
          i liked the mocking phrase,
“I think I even saw Hughes’ wife trying to squeeze out a fake tear.’
          lol

    • They are not suppose to be able to do that at all. The judge is suppose to remove anyone doing anything that can bias that jury, but she didn’t.

      • This woman is no Judge in my opinion she is scared to do her job and she is scared of jm. she needs to be thrown off of her bench and out the doors she is a joke!!!!!

    • Jessie, its not just your opinion, it is fact. And its not just you, its ALL of us.

If someone had their head up their own ass so far they could see what last night dinner looked like, they would STILL be able to see this judge is a…Dare I say….CUNT!

    • You know what, she IS biased. I have a news article that identifies her by her eye-rolling. Everyone knows who the eye-rolling woman in the courtroom is.

We are forced to be held hostage ourselves to her bias. It doesn’t matter how many people see her unfairness, she is the dictator and answers to no one.

I agree that this case has shocked me to the core.

And, this coming from a person who has been the target of an identity thieving convicted felon, whom the police didn’t even pay the slightest bit of attention to. I am the target of a stalker, and this has gone on for more than 20 years, and yes, it is true, no exaggeration. The police have done next to nothing. The convicted felon has done what he did to my family, to others, many times before. He has a rap sheet 30 pages long, and you would think I would be screaming for “law and order” in this case. NO, nothing about our so called justice system is fair. Truly filthy dirty criminals are let off with a slap on the wrist, and others such as Jodi who deserve mercy and fairness are tormented, from what I can see, just because she was easier to catch. And of course, she’s the ideal person for the media to crucify for ratings.

    • ”She has more humanity in her little finger than the whole of the Maricopa County Attorney’s office and HLN put together.”

      Ain’t that the truth!

    • Jeff, you lie, you lie, you lie… You dont tell them one fucking thing about seeing this trial…NOT ONE THING.

Im serious, not one critical thinking person would blaim you for doing this. And if they did, fuck them.

After words we will write a book, “how we proved the system is broken”.

If you can get on the jury now, WHO else could have got on the jury before?

      • Seriously though while I like the spirit I don’t think I could lie. That would make me like Juan and Nancy Grace (puke).

It is too much of a coincidence though so perhaps God wants me there for this or some other poor soul being railroaded by Juan and the creeps at the Maricopa County prosecutors office.

        • Absolutely Jeff. The people of Maricopa county need people with integrity on juries.

        • Well, Jeff, of course you could say that you can put aside what you have heard and make a fair decision. That would be telling the truth.

        • Gosh JEFF get me all excited….and then boom pull the rug out from under me. I had my tell all book sold and was dreaming how to spend all the money. LOL I am glad that you are the man that I have always found you to be on this site. One of his word and one of HONESTY above all.

      • Its July 1st. It would take them at least that long I think. But I’ll probably request a postponement because that is my last week at work after 33 years and I’m retiring.

    • no way, that would be awesome, hopefully you are not using your real name here or I could just see them dismissing every Jeff on the list 🙁

          • What would the court care? They’ve let the jurors be online and have iPads and everything. They’re not checking, because if they were they would know those jurors have lied.

      • Okay seriously, we are all pretty hilarious. Our humor is right in line with each other. Sometimes I read down our comments just to gain some hope, and it cracks me up. Humor is good medicine trying to cope with this witch hunt of this poor girl.

    • Jeff, read sirlips’s post. Save a life! Get Jodi out of there! By the way, we don’t know you, and you have not heard of Jodi Arias before.

    • Yahoo!!!!!!!!!! LIE…..LIE…… LIE……. There is a GOD!!!!!!!!!!! GO for it man!!!!!!!!!

    • HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with all the above comments
.Lie your ass off, smash that freaking computer(we’ll buy you a new one LOL) and save Jodi’s life!!

  13. First, let me say I’ve hated Katie W every since I saw her photographed with JM, you know the one with arm around his shoulder, his head in her boobs. Yesterday, I did hear say something that no one else has mentioned…she said, Jodi hands were trimbling, she could tell Jodi was nervous. Perhaps, if one jurors saw her trimbling, still fighting for life that maybe, just maybe one might be thinking…what in the hell have I done?

  14. Jane Velez Mitchell is speechless every time someone decent speaks out in favor or takes side with Jodi. I can’t believe that woman wants to Jodi to get the DP. HLN crew is a heartless, money hungry bunch of demons.

    • Who is she speechless about now and what did they say? I caught a little of HLN last night and thought wow, what timing, I tuned in right as This blonde lady and dam it, my memory sucks, I know her name, I posted it last night, her mom is Gloria Allred, but anyhow she was saying how America along with NOrth Korea and Iraq are one of the fewest with death penalties anymore and why do we want to be in bed with countries like that? She said something is very wrong in this case, she has never ever seen no one show up to defend their loved one in DP case and she was getting mad about how Jodis case is being handled and how unfair it is because Jodi cant afford the best lawyers, that the states side has the upper hand because its get better help but asssss hole cuts her off and flips back to her now mad mom because the daughter was not saying what they wanted her to say, dang, what is her name again, I will go look it up but I am hoping that she and groups against dp will help Jodi if she indeed does get that

      • What she will need is for those groups to become Amicus Curiae in her appeal.

        • Thank goodness. I used to like Lisa Bloom and when it looked like she was falling in line with these other idiots I was floored. She completely lost me over the Jodi Arias trial. I will stand by to see whether she can at all redeem herself. She will have to dig hard and speak loud.

    • I can’t stand JVM anymore…she is getting uglier by the minute..the hate and darkness is oozing out of her now..and seriously, she needs something to calm her down…I can’t stand her loud ranting and fast talking..I used to think she was kind of attractive, but her hate has made her very unattractive..

      • Michael Jackson Velez-Mitchell needs to crawl back into the vodka bottle with Juror #8.

        • She needs something Cheryl..totally on a brink of some breakdown!!! (god forbid she starts drinking again..she just might if she can’t contribute to getting Jodi killed!!

      • You’re right, her face is turning into a permanent snarl. I used to like her to some degree also. I’m an animal lover so that was the reason, I thought she was helping animals. But how can she try to keep animals from getting killed at the pound and at the same time salivate over the idea of Jodi being given the dp?
        Nightmare.

        • Me too Milan…I think her animal advoctisim (sp) was admirable until this trial came along..I am involved with stopping “kill shelters” and the like…but yet Jane is so eager to kill a human being…she is becoming ugly..what is inside is coming out..

  15. Did anyone else see GMA today? I was laughing so hard at Nancy Grace. She got so PIST that Dan Abrams defended Jodi in a sense. Then she started boo hooing about her boyfriend that got killed…GET over it bitch!!! And how the defendant put his head down when she went by, He did that because shes one ugly heffer. Gosh that woman always turns it back to her and her sad ass life when someone says something she doesn’t have a come back for.

    • OH PLEASE

she has been whining about his death for 30 years… he probably wasn’t murdered, but killed himself to get away from that demonic, ugly bitch.

          • and she references back to his murder with every single case she talks about and how she couldn’t wash her hair or brush her teeth or bathe come on nancy g you are a drama queen bitch from hell

            • I know. Everyone is different and reacts to things differently. Some people function “normally” for a while after a death because they are numb. They are so shocked, they don’t know what to do, so they go on as if nothing happened. Then when they let reality in, they collapse, and the timetable is different for everyone for the stages of grief. And, people cycle through the stages in different sequences as well.

    • NG and Abrams were on the original Court TV in the 90’s. They go back a long time. There is now hatred between them. I don’t know the reason, but..

      • Maybe because she is such a witch, Ed!! Can you imagine trying to come off as a serious journalist if your were working w/her?? She has no credibility!!!!

      • Have you seen how she treats people who are supposedly “friends” when they disagree with her? She is downright abusive! She humiliates them!
When I used to watch her, I used to cringe when she would be friendly to her prosecution woman friend, then she would attack the woman’s defense attorney husband!
She doesn’t even try to control herself. It makes her look like a fool more than the person she’s trying to make into a fool.

Does anyone remember that awful case in Florida, with the little girl who went missing under Misty Croslin’s watch, and how NG sucked up to her trash boyfriend, the father of the little girl? Shameful. NG looked pretty stupid when the idiot was caught dealing drugs. She made all kinds of excuses for him. What a mess that was.

      • Dan Abrams’ father is Floyd, the famous First Amendment lawyer. Dan actually has some sense.

    • I heard NG”s fiancée committed suicide instead of being murdered. Either way he won out imagine being with that ugly, maniacal, bitch 24/7!

    • Unfortunately, I watched some of that while looking for Jodi interviews. DisGrace made a laughing stock of herself AGAIN when Dan confronted her on the fact that no matter WHAT Jodi said, she’d make a spectacle of it. She then did her tearful BS about when her fiance was murdered and the defendant and his counsel all looked down. WHATEVER!

    • I missed that … wish I’d seen it…. but then Disgrace cries all the time about that boyfriend…. if I was her husband … I’d say…. enough is enough! On top of that, HLN pays her to cry about her ex- boyfriend every chance she gets. What a circus!!!

  16. Sorry didn’t realize new page had started and posted question asking has anyone else noticed that JM looks exactly like how Satan is always depicted as looking. Then it dawned on me the reason that he looks like that….IT’S because HE IS SATAN HIMSELF!!!!!! That’s why there is such a dark aura emanating from that courtroom—–the devil didn’t go down to Georgia —- he went to AZ!!!!!

    • LOL,Duke!Let me share this with you:sometimes when I’m bored I use Paint.net with some of my photos.on February 28th when Martinez made my Jodi break down on that stand and cry her eyes out I made a pic of him with red horns,a beard just like Satan and the title read” Martinez is wicked, wicked, wicked”.
      I guess you agree 😉

  17. Jodi, for pete sake, STOP giving interviews! This is not earning u brownie pts w/ this jury or any future juries u’ll have to come against. The interviews make u seem like a “publicity hog”, which u are NOT. – I hope.

Gr8 job w/ your plea. Just bide your time. It will all work out. – Stay strong.

    • dave; This is Jodi’s last time to give her voice. If/when she is sentenced, she will no longer be able to talk.

I found her interviews intelligent, and nothing bad was said.

      I am glad she spoke.

      • Renee, do you know if she can give interviews if she gets life? I’m glad she spoke last night to Mark Curtis, but Troy Hayden can go shit broken bricks.

        • My understand is that if she’s on death row, she will not be able to give interviews, other than in writing.

      • Me too…the way she phrases her sentences shows how well read she is. Very articulate!

Good thing Dr Youngblood asshole psycho-ologist gave her that reading test!

(I accidentally posted this in wrong spot above which makes zero sense in that chain, lol)

      • I don’t know death row laws in AZ, but in practically any other state in America, death row inmates give prison interviews (mostly behind a reinforced-glass wall) all the time. The “morbidly obese lady” hasn’t sung yet. The jury could still decide “life in prison.” – Best to not do anything to persuade them otherwise.

    • will have to agree with you Dave, especially about earlier interviews which she admitted in last nights interview as being stupid. She’s grown so much. Those putting out her being attention grabber need to look at themselves. She was modest, poised and answered the questions .. not like those waving banners, making web sites and all . . who is screaming for attention? Her interview reached some people. Along with you tho, it might be wise to let it ride and offer nothing else .. at least for a while.

      • You can tell just by how she carries her self that she is no longer that “stupid” girl that gave those first interviews. I thought she was very classy in all of her interviews and in the one she did as a follow up to her post conviction interview I think she looked prettier then I have ever seen her. Even in her photos pre jail Jodi.
I laughed this am when GMA played the segment about why the hair color change and she said they don’t sell Clairol in jail. Freaken DUH she has been there for 4 plus years…and her hair grows very fast she has donated her hair a few times already. And when she did that she did not think Oh I am doing this JUST to use as my appeal to the jury…she did it because she has a good heart.

        • I think back then, she still believed in “The Secret” mythology and magical thinking. It seems like she thought if she just thought “positive thoughts” and didn’t allow in anything negative everything would work out all right. That’s my impression.

I agree that she did a fantastic job on her speech in front of the court, and I do think she came across very well in the interview post-verdict. I haven’t seen the one she gave last night, didn’t know about it, can’t stand the television at all lately, it’s too horrible.

    • Screw it. Let Jodi do what she wants.

I swear, she couldn’t win either way. Casey chose not to talk to the media and people screamed about her being a coward who wouldn’t address her lies in public. Jodi chooses to talk to the media and she’s a famewhore who loves the attention.

      • Exactly, Kira. I was against her post-conviction interview, to be honest. But right now, why not?

    • dave,
yestrday before watching the interviews I was hesitant too.Not because I was afraid of what she might say oh no..I trust my girl completely.I was afraid how the media would abuse her and twist her words. But then I read here other people’s opinions, that this might be her last chance to speak out and changed my mind.
Jodi didnt let us down. She was once again the eloquent, soft spoken, well read, educated person we all have known and loved,That woman could have been anything she wanted in life. She has so many potential!
Furthermore,I was SO P R O U D of her for standing her ground on many subjects that were brought up:Travis,Martinez,DV,his family etc.I was so proud to see my girl having gained some new perspective especially when it comes to that manipulative, pedophile, abuser of hers! And how she seems to gradually forgiving herself and thinking that life is worth living.I kept saying out loud ”I’m proud of you, baby” And I MEAN IT! That girl has matured so much during the last 5 years, other people need a lifetime and dont get to that level of maturity and self awareness.

As to your ”The interviews make u seem like a “publicity hog”, which u are NOT. – I hope. ” I say huh?
You hope?Still havent figured Jodi out? Then why are you here?Either she is our angel or not.IMHO of course.

  18. I believe many of the juror’s lied during voir dire when asked if they knew anything about the case, knowing that it was going to be a high profile case and they simply wanted to be part of it (maybe envisioning book deals). And these people, like so much of the rest of the country/world had already decided she was guilty and that it was her job to prove that she wasn’t. It’s the only explanation I can come up with for the bizarre verdict (other than maybe they are all living in an alternate universe where Jodi is actually a whoring murdering slut.)

  19. hln stuttering all over themselves . . even the public on the street showing changed attitudes. . can’t help but think Jodis interview helped her.

    • Me too CB! Jodi has remained firm in her self defense claim…and she let the jury know it too! Maybe now they can see that SOMETHING happened when she met TA..maybe now they are re-considering the abusive texts etc from him..the broken finger, how he stomped all over Jodi!! Jodi has given them something to think about..that they probably convicted an innocent person because of public pressure and intimidation!!!

    • Hey Josh see my post about Satan and that will explain why that courtroom is in dire need of a complete exorcism

      • Heather check out my post on last page and it will explain why Josh is correct! 🙂

    • zombie apocalypse in the making . . it’s a test project. Next trial will need metal detectors for chip plants and remote control.

  20. I’m sorry for my previous rant.
I’m just feeling VERY disillusioned right now. I’ve led myself to believe the past 12yrs, that things were getting better in this country. That I honestly thought I could “feel” a spiritual awakening.
I’ve met a lot of very bad people these past 12yrs, who have taken me for everything they could squeeze from me. BUT, I also met even MORE people who were honest, compassionate, filled with “Christ Consciousness”.
After 40 years of searching, I found both myself, and my own path.
These proceedings, plus the work I’ve been doing lately; have honestly left me with the view that *something* is going to have to happen before people will wake up, see their true potential, and make this “little blue marble” we have been entrusted with, worthy of our presence.

    • I am not sorry for any rant I have given, or any I may give in the future.

      🙄

      • I am not sorry either that is why I do it to my “little posse family” because I know if I ever get too carried away they always bring me right back down!!! Gosh I love all of you in the posse.

        • Renee…Janeen….no difference!!! LMAOOOOOO

          ((((((((((((((((((heather))))))))))))))))))))))))

          Love you!!!!!

    • No worries. I feel the same way. I was hoping for things to get better not worse, but it’s like things keep going down the crapper.

      • Thanks everyone. It just hurts me, in my whole self, to witness this savage, inexcusable behavior. And if you DARE try and just try CALMLY, respectfully, to respond to people’s misinformation, you’re cyber-bullied and threatened.
These “Mormons” profess to be “Christians”, but I also know from my aunt & cousin, they share a belief with me. We believe that we all, EVERYONE, has a “spark of the divine within us”.
Maybe I just have it wrong, that all these hater’s and supposed “LDS”, are really a bunch of atheists or satanists…nah, the atheists I know actually have a soul, have that “divine spark”, they just don’t know it yet.
There’s NO EXCUSE, NONE for this type of behavior.

        • Lainey, thanks for sharing your heart with us. I had previously thought that people were waking up, becoming more enlightened, or call it what you will and now this. I actually moved to a place that I thought would be filled with spiritual people who love nature, compassion, and spirituality. Instead, this place is full of venom, religious zealouts, racists and even hate nature! (We live in a beautiful area, by a beautiful lake!). I have had my life threatened by locals here – twice. I live my life, help the local charities, support volunteers, and out-of-the-blue I get threats from people whom I don’t even speak to! It is like evil has followed me. This on top of working on victim issues I’ve had with DV.

I am trying to keep the faith, saying to myself it is all part of a grander picture, and positive change always takes time. We are not alone.

          • Oh goodness Cindy, sounds just like her!! There’s actually an Ashram about 6 miles from me-that’s what first brought me here. Panditji was introduced to me taking a Y & M class at the Ganapatii temple in Flushing NY, and I was originally offered permanent residency, in return for me being the webmaster. The problem was I was the ONLY “webmaster” for 3 MAJOR sites, plus about 45 smaller ones towards the end of 2 years when some Indian guys were brought in-“experts” who didn’t even know basic HTML.
Anyways, I was still in heaven, and I hope to return to live there again in the near future. I’m legally blind, don’t drive, and a taxi to get there and back is about $40-50 I don’t have.
But after spending my first 40yrs in North Fl and Alabama, to move into this small town in the Poconos, I was SHOCKED that the racism, religious zealots, and just a very small town with a large imagination and even larger mouths, is 1000times worse than ANYTHING I experienced down south-and I went through segregation, etc!!
I stay to myself, now that I live out in the country, at least I don’t have to worry about all the stories I’d hear, strange people getting into my UN-secure apt I had there.
Lol, my landlord/friend here asked me last week who my silver-haired fox was, that she heard about in town. She’d heard I had this nice looking, well-dressed elderly man over for “sleep-overs” 3-4 times a year-and I hadn’t told her about this “mystery man”.
I literally fell down laughing-as my Uncle had when he heard about it. Obviously the gossiper’s weren’t Catholic. My Uncle came to town for a couple of years to relieve the local priest so he could go on vacation. My uncle, my “silver-haired fox”/guest in my apartment-is a Catholic Bishop. 😉

            • “Here”. Sorry about spelling/grammar, I gotta take a break, my eyes are swollen, lol, I’m a mess..,

        • You’ve really got it. That’s just what I’ve been saying. It’s insane, like nothing I’ve ever experienced, it is so over the top.

    • Me too…the way she phrases her sentences shows how well read she is. Very articulate!

Good thing Dr Youngblood asshole psycho-ologist gave her that reading test!

      • I bet that was to see if she could beat Jodi in that at least. She must not have liked Jodi’s IQ scores.

    • I liked your rant. I understood it, and appreciated it. You are good with me 🙂

      • Ok, now you guys brought a tear to my eyes. Thank you. Maybe there is hope, at least with everyone at this site. It’s just hard to see much beyond what we deal with every day.
My kids are my rock-even if I rarely see them and they’re still trying to work out the issues of the abuse, kidnapping, separation from me, their father’s death, and now my daughter’s inability to conceive with her wonderful husband-as a result of the abuse.
But they’re strong, much stronger than I was at their age. They’re working, in school and took up my mantle of volunteering at some of the same organizations I worked with at their age.
But they, and you guys, DO give me Hope. 😉

      • I did too.
If you are not already a subscriber, I think you might very much like to try a magazine subscription to “The Intelligent Optimist,” (formerly “Ode Magazine”). Also take a look at “Kosmos,” if you can. Just suggestions.
I, too, sometimes feel like humanity is travelling backwards. Sometimes, though, things have to get worse before we are willing to allow them to get better, I guess.

        • I’m actually currently taking a couple of online/book courses through the Ashram I used to live at. One of the courses is Sanskrit-I’ve started it about 6 times since one of my friends gave it to me, (it’s actually a $750 course!! ). A part of my genetic disorder is ADD and I only take supplements right now-going to switch to better ones June 1.
But I’ll still check into the magazines, thank you! The Ashram/HI I used to live at also publishes a magazine, although I believe it may just be online now. Here’s an article by a friend and former-hopefully soon to be present again, doctor. She’s The Best! Everyone here may find this helpful!

    • Lainey, maybe something good will come out of this…maybe people will realize what a joke HLN is, and how hateful the Alexanders are, and how they are profiting from the death of their brother..Believe me, I think a lot of eyes will be opened due to this case..HLN will be chastised and Jodi will win an appeal due to all of the corruption in this case!! Have faith!!!

      • That’s what I’ve been thinking too, and hoping that things will change because of this. But, I want Jodi to be set free.

  21. i BELIEVE GOOD WILL WIN OUT IN THE END. I KNOW SHE WILL GET A NEW TRIAL. JUST KEEP PRAYING AND DON’T GIVE UP.

  22. I just saw a still shot of Jodi with her hand up during one of the interviews yesterday. And you should see her finger crooked as always and you know that at THAT moment she wasn’t thinking about that finger as all the haters said she was doing on the stand. Another little piece of the BULLSHIT puzzle that the hatters tried to make FIT!!!

      • Loved the fact that they said Jodi drew a line through their names and said NO. I bet they were all frothing at the mouth watching the other journalist doing those interviews.

        • I fell out when they asked why was she talking to them and she asked why are they talking to her. lol

          • That was awesome, wasn’t it?
I also liked it when she mentioned to Troy that she regretted her long ago decision to have promised him the last interview, and that she gave it to him only because she is loyal to her word.

            • Jodi has class and always will!!! 😉 Loved it when she told one of the major network interviewers, something like, “I didn’t realize you were a hater”!! You go girl!!!! <3

              • Oh! I missed that one, I’ll have to see that. I just LOVE how CALMLY she speaks her zingers. Her poise and equanimity is something I so very much admire.

        • Haha, good for Jodi.

I’d like to see her do an interview with Geraldo at some point.

  23. Hail Mary….Full of Grace….The Lord is with Thee…Blessed are Thou amongst women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus…Holy Mary Mother of God….Pray for our SINNERS…now and at the hour of our death…

Thank you Janeen Russo (((( Sirlips ))))) has no religion and this will help him our prays are being hear in heaven

      • hey all of you, I have been coming on this site since early february. I try to everyday to at least read up and check in. I don’t post usually unless I am really pissed about the trial that day or just snippy about a juan-comment. But, coming here has helped me to vent my feelings about the media and the justice system in assizona and reading that you-all feel the same really helps me feel so much better and sleep better at night knowing that we all are praying for JODI and her family and for the jury to do the right thing. I have enjoyed my time here so thank-you.

        • I feel the same. Especially since on almost every other news site, with facebook commenting, all of my comments have been repeatedly deleted. Very rarely, I’ve kept re-posting enough to wear them down, but that has been very rare.

  24. I am so angry I suppose I should be on the vent page. Didn’t that effing apology for a judge tell them this was a case to find mitigating circumstances? Then why did she tell the jurors if they wanted help she would tell them the law? Because she wants the DP for Jodi, but haven’t we known that all along?

      • LOL my daughter prayed last night ” And GOD PLEASE holed my Mommy tongue cause I think sometimes the devil is on it with all those bad words she tries not to say…Nutter Frucker I know WHAT she REALLY means and it is bad. Just put a little hot sauce on her tongue and she will stop all that.” I was laughing so hard outside her room that I about peed my pants LOL

          • Gotta Love her!! She just came in with a present she made me at school I said OHHH a cookie I was hungry. She said no momma it will break your tooth then you’ll look like one of the Alexanders.and walked out of the room. She says some stuff that just floors me sometimes.LOL

        • My mother washed my mouth with soap when I said Fuck because someone stole my bike and to walk home and it was a long way home too

          • LOL that sounds like something my Mom would of done.LOl I was riding home on the handle bars of a friends bike and we hit a bump I FLEW off and hit my face on the ground breaking a tooth. Two men that my friends parents knew stoped to help I ran from them she chased me and said they were safe and she went back to my house with me. One of the men carried me up to the door. My Mom came running out of the house beating this man with a broom because she thought he had hurt me. So hours later after the dentist was over and I was feeling no pain my Mom came in and said So why the HELL did you get in the care with a stranger. I took the cussing cue ( not a good idea) and I said FUCK Mom my friends parents knew him. And she put HOT SAUCE on my tongue, near the tooth the dr just fixed. LOL That is why my daughter said Hot sauce in the above comment LOL

          • Thanks Duke I try not to cuss cause I want to go see my Mommy in Heaven one day, YES even after the HOT SAUCE, lol BUT sometimes no other word works but the good ole F word makes you feel better in a flash.
Try it Everyone we are all stressed right Know so scream out FUUUUCCCCCKKKKK over and over drawing the letters closer each time. fuuucccckkk fuuccckkk fuucckk fuck SEE your laughing doesn’t it make you feel better LOL LOL LOL I am tired sorry

    • He is. I think he wants to just talk about himself. He would be so happy if he could just talk about himself and his own feelings and thoughts and how cool he is.

    • Could you imagine being his WIFE??? EWWWW…He would come home whining every night…I would have to smack the stupid out of him.

    • He’s not a real journalist. He started out as a consulting guest on Court TV years ago and just ended up where he is today.

    • If the jury is hung, Juan boy will have nothing to “plea bargain’ with. One choice he could make is to REDUCE the penalty to life, but I don’t think that can be considered a “plea deal” that would disallow an appeal. He can also choose to inpanel a new jury and retry to penalty phase. Of course, they would have to find an _impartial_;llll jury who believes the M1 conviction was correct. The odds of that are out of the park.

  25. I can’t believe so many people want her to die. I mean are we in the dark ages? It is disgusting. I really can’t wrap my brain around it. I mean do they realize death is forever? I can imagine hearing my family member was killed and saying I wish that person would die. But in all reality I wouldn’t kill them. I don’t think I could give anyone the death penalty. I’m not God. I don’t get to say when someone lives and dies. She’s not dangerous to society.

This is pathetic. How can you truly want someone to die? You’d think as Christians after 5 years you find it in your heart to begin to forgive not for the person but for yourself to heal. I’ve had to learn that as I’ve gotten older. Yet they’re still looking for blood. I don’t understand guys.

    • Mormons are not true Christians. They have different beliefs than the Christ of the Bible. I know; I was raised Mormon, but no longer hold their beliefs.

    • Seriously. What are these people gaining on a personal level if Jodi gets a DP? It’s demented. I’m convinced that they have a sickness, a sadistic impulse that they need to project onto others if they can’t act it out in their real lives. And this applies to everyone who clamors for the DP in this country. The only ‘civilived’ country that still kills people in the name of justice.

    • I am so against the death penalty and even though I think I wouldn’t still be against it if someone in my family was killed, but I hope to never find out. But I totally don’t understand how the general masses can be so hell bent on the death penalty. What kind of sick mentality does it take to be hoping and praying (PRAYING!!!!) for someone’s death! I feel like it’s always wrong! Even when the Navy Seals took out Osama bin Laden and people were all happy, I felt like it was wrong to be whooping it up like that. I’ll never understand.

      • You know I use to be an eye for an eye type of person myself years ago, but you know life and experiences change you and make you look at the big picture as cliche’ as that sounds but it is very true. Jesus Christ Our One And Only True GOD is the Judge of life and death, right. He is the judge of judges.

    • Romans 12:19 avenge not for yourselves but rather give place unto wrath for it is written vengeance is mine I will repay sayeth the Lord

  26. Now, the damn department of correction is saying she will be in a maximum cell lockdown in Perryville no matter what…LWOP…she will be lockup for 3 years before she would be able to work her way into the prison population

    • If that is the case, then I think Jodi will focus on her appeal process. Maybe she will stop covering for whoever slit his throat and put him in the shower.

I am not past her stabbing him in the shower scenario that JM created. He slung shit and some of it stuck in the minds of this jury. There was no undoing it.

Hopefully some of these folks have a heart and don’t give her DP.

Question: How is JVM employed? She is unattractive, and I think drunk?? Her rambling makes no sense. Perhaps she is a match made in hell for Kermit??

      • She prop will be treated differently because of th high profile…but mainly because of the M1 conviction. Perryville is pretty rough, loud, fights. and neighbors say it has a bad odor. The first 3 years it won’t be much different than being on DR

        • Is that the ONLY prison she can go to? I am from a state that has only ONE prison for woman we have a classification center that house some women who are pregnant or have other health issues, then they have a mental health place for people who are mentally compitant to stand trial however have mental issues. So I am not familiar with other states and how they house the female prisoners.

    • WHY?? If she’s not deemed a danger to herself or others, WHY would she be in lockdown? Or does that just put more money into Jan Brewer’s pockets,..uhm, I mean Brewer’s CCA pet’s pockets? All these “private max security beds” she’s ordered our Fed and State taxes to pay for, gotta be filled by someone I guess…

      http://tucsoncitizen.com/cell-out-arizona/2012/05/03/arizonas-budget-giveaway-to-the-private-prison-industry/

On the .?positive? Side? Looks like Jodi will certainly be able to “work”, (read “slave”-ooops, did I say that?)

      http://www.aci.az.gov/

    • Why are they doing this to her? Is it to ‘protect’ her from the other inmates or just vengeance?
      🙁

      • I’ll bet you it’s vengeance. They’ll be furious if she does not get the dp.

  27. Last night just before I went to bed I flipped through the channels and stopped at HLN. They were talking about Jodi giving interviews to the networks, they were beside themselves that she wasn’t going to do one with them, they just couldn’t understand why………guess you just can’t fix stupid!!! I thought it was kind of funny HAHAHA!

    Ray in Harrisonburg Va.

      • Me too. They are still kicking themselves in the ass over that, but continue to bash her regularly. They just don’t get that they are the reason this is happening to her.

          • Haha, I saw that too, I promise you I try at times to watch hoping against hope that they might allow opposing views in but anyhow, they said HLN had a BIG line through it, haha

          • Not the entire nation. Those who aren’t brainwashed are here at Team JODI111

    • They are so ridiculous! They are complaining and outraged that she is doing interviews. Then in the next breath they admit they put in a bid for Jodi to do an interview with them(HLN)! The hypocrites ! And I just LOVE that Jodi said,”NO!”

    • I think she shouldn’t have done an interview with ANY of them, just Geraldo Rivera. That’s the ONLY one she shouldve interviewed with!

      • Exactly LC! Geraldo is the ONLY journalist who has come out against her getting the DP too. Jodi needs to learn to stick “with her own” right now!!!

  28. As a complete aside to what’s going on right now, I’d like to comment on HLN. I haven’t watched that channel in months..and insofar as the plastic faced ratings whores (JVM AND NG)..Karma WILL be a bitch. JVM had dogs…big deal…they only look to her for food, and to shit and piss. HOWEVER, NG has children, and when those kids grow up to be independant thinkers and young adults, they’ll see what and how their mother reported, and hear her bullshit…all for ratings, and I’m hoping they look at her with disdain and lose all respect for her. This is a mother’s worse nightmare, and she will be haunted forever…so NG…be sure your words are sweet…you may have to eat them one day !!!

    • They probably already do. For God sakes she was putting their pics on her show as soon as they were born. She USED THEM for ratings and that is worse then anything else she could EVER do on camera.

      • You’re so right Jennifer. She’s an absolute disgrace to motherhood and mankind

      • And telling the world how they went to the park all the time…I used to think WTF does she keep showing their pictures and talking about going to the park when they are so many child snatchers out there…and I am sure a lot of them that were watching her show would love to have found a chance to snatch her kids…she is really lucky that no one snatched her kids with all the sickos in the world…

    • NG gets her Karma each morning when she has to look at herself in the mirror.

  29. Did anyone see Jodi chatting it up with the deputy watching her? You can tell she has a good rapport with him. I’m sure he is love with her now too, lol.

I think Jenn likes her too. I liked when Jenn mentioned in closing that Jodi could have been an attorney. Jenn knows she’s smart and has a memory like no other.

Even in these tv interviews, Jodi knows her facts. They cannot get her to trip up bc she is telling the truth!

    • Suz,I caught that! I was nervous, biting my nails, waiting with my sister and she said”Aww look at Jodi, she’s smiling! Are you feeling a bit better now?” LOL,I said Hell no I’m not.I wont till this is all over!

But she did seem pleased to talk to that deputy. They’ve obviously got to know each other.

  30. 1 Lord, rescue me from evil people; protect me from cruel people 2 who make evil plans, who always start fights. 3 They make their tongues sharp as a snake’s; their words are like snake poison.Selah 4 Lord, guard me from the power of wicked people; protect me from cruel people who plan to trip me up. 5 The proud hid a trap for me. They spread out a net beside the road; they set traps for me.Selah 6 I said to the Lord, “You are my God.” Lord, listen to my prayer for help. 7 Lord God, my mighty savior, you protect me in battle. 8 Lord, do not give the wicked what they want. Don’t let their plans succeed, or they will become proud.Selah 9 Those around me have planned trouble. Now let it come to them. 10 Let burning coals fall on them. Throw them into the fire or into pits from which they cannot escape. 11 Don’t let liars settle in the land. Let evil quickly hunt down cruel people. 12 I know the Lord will get justice for the poor and will defend the needy in court. 13 Good people will praise his name; honest people will live in his presence. A psalm of David. Psalm 140 (NCV)

    • Another Psalm of David that I love…

      Psalm 37

1 Do not fret because of those who are EVIL
      or be envious of those who do wrong;

2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon DIE away.

      3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

It has 40 verses total…you can finish reading them here…

      http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+37&version=NIV

      • Thank you for sharing these beutiful psalms. This is another one of my favorites.

        ,Psalm 91

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
        from the fowler’s snare
        and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
        and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
        to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
        13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

        14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
        15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
        and show him my salvation.”

  31. I expressed my opinion today to a few of my co-workers in a more forthright manner than I’ve done yet. I said whoever wants her dead is a hate-filled killer!! And that NG is the ringleader of this bloody circus and anyone who listens to her is a fool. I can’t stand when people spew things that have absolutely no basis in fact. If this jury gives her death and I got a text saying it’s hung right now then they can go ahead and check into the nearest mental facility because this will be so deeply embedded in their psyche that the voices they hear will drive them insane. I hope they all sound like Kermi’s!

    • Isn’t it funny how they though UNTIL NOW this jury was wonderful and had it right…today they are questioning them…lol…there must be something wrong with them

  32. I watched NG a few years ago when her shows were about Natalee Holloway nightly.

I don’t know what happened to her mind but she’s seriously fuck up in her head now.
You guys that watch her or anyone on HLN are better people than I. I can’t stomach anything or anyone on that network.
Vinnie Politan was who I first began to despise on there when I first started watching this trial seriously in late January.
All anyone did that network does is yell and hate.
I can’t put up with that nonsense.

I also went to #JodiArias on Twitter a lot at first. I was actually against Jodi at the beginning from the reading I was doing on the case and Flores’ police report.
Once I read all of the documents and saw the videos on this site and lurked around seeing where everyone was coming from I pretty quickly became a big time Jodi supporter.
Not to mention the fact that my attitude changed dramatically after the Casey Anthony trial. I credit Jose Baez’ book with totally changing my mind about that trial and verdict.

Never be quick to judge anything or anybody. You have to let things play out. This case is a perfect example of that and of all the things that can go wrong with a bad Judge and bloodthirsty prosecutor.

I am now a huge enemy of #JodiArias on Twitter. Those people, The Travis Taliban and the Alexander Acolytes hate me with a passion 🙂 I’m so proud!

I’m very proud of Jodi too.

    • I think they will come back today and tell the judge it still stands that they cannot reach a verdict..and it will be over for this jury.

      • I can see that. I’m thinking they are to split to think anyone will change their vote. I think Juan will try to plea.

        • I just don’t understand why they don’t just go with Life…at this point, Jodi is being punished, TA (hate even typing that) family has some sort of justice (but we know it’s incorrect)..Death wishers need to change to Life..all is set and done…(until Appeal!) I’m hoping they will do the right thing, and agree on Life Verdict..It doesn’t make sense!

  33. I think these people (media, jurors, haters) are all delusional. They think this is some kind of reality show where in the end the winner gets a prize and everybody goes home. Or they’ve seen so many murders on TV and in movies, where the dead person is “just pretending”, that they’ve lost all mindful perspective.

    • I agree, RB. I really do think the trends of reality TV and sensationalized crime fiction shows have gone too far in one direction while the ”news” media has gone too far the other direction and we’re now witnessing the real world ramifications of that unfortunate and inappropriate overlap.

    • Yep..and the sad thing is that there are tons and tons of people there thinking that this is either a reality show or even worse an effing soap opera so they have to identify with the ‘good guy” and burn the villain at the stake!
      Could we say DE-RA-NGED?

    • RB I agree..they are treating this like it’s some sort of game show..disgusting!!!

  34. So what’s going on in that jury room?
Is that one little woman hiding under the table in a fetal position while all others blood eyed are staring at her and texting each other ‘the bitch, the slut, the whore, she won’t give up!’

    • 😆

either that, or the rest are pulling up their Iphones to HLN and showing her why she should cave in

      • LOL Renee! Although sad but true.
They are probably text messaging NG for further instuctions.

    • The longer they stay out the more concerned I become. This has not been a jury that considers real evidence, only Juan twisting of facts.

    • Honor and conscience are standing strong in that deliberation room!

      THAT’s what!

      • I think so too Journee..I’m hoping with all my heart that is what it is!!! I keep hearing that a couple of Female jurors were crying when the M1 and or aggravator verdict was read..hopefully they are the holdouts, and can turn this around to a firm Life verdict!

  35. Vinnie Pukestain and the rest of HLN can kiss my hairy, caramel-coloured, ass dead centre!!!! JM can slide down a flag pole ass first —-although in his case it doesn’t make any difference which end goes first as he is a complete asshole! And the rest of the TA should receive a one -way ticket to Chernobyl—but be spayed and neutered first because we surely don’t want them to ever reproduce their likes into this world at all!

  36. If the jury is hung and new jury comes in and they do mini trial could it effect the origional standing verdict?

    • no. The verdict will not change with a new jury during sentencing phase – just whether or not she gets the DP or life.

      • Thanks. Just wasn’t sure since a new jury would still have to see evidence that lead the origional jurors to the verdict they chose. I mean what if some don’t think she deserves either life or death because they think the 1st jury got the verdict wrong and they would have found her quilty on lesser charges.

  37. If they dont reach a verdict today or come back hung Tanisha is going to be hitting the pipe hard tonight. Her dealers are getting all of the donations from the JusticeForTravis imbeciles.

  38. Lainey1843 – I didn’t see your rant but I saw your posts on this page and I liked them. People say I’m too young to talk like this LOL bc I sound like a hippy, but I was raised by a hippy. I really believe that history repeats itself. I have felt for a while like we were coming into a period where people were looking for more. For more than “worldly happiness”. Like you said a spiritual awakening. Even people who don’t believe in religion I feel like they would start to question how things were going in the world. I could go on about things getting more popular such as equality and bullying and taking care of the Earth and interest in religions and peoples interested more in their own beliefs than celebs.

Now it’s like people but their brains away and blindly followed the media. I thought this was the age of people thinking for themselves and questioning following authority blindly. But, this is like the blind following the stupid to put it nicely. It’s disgusting when people leave their brains and back bones at home and do what others want.

    • No they cant! They’re morons or ostriches if they believe otherwise!

  39. God, give the jurors strength to stand on their own convictions and NOT bend. Bless each of us as we come to you in support of this wrongdoing.

  40. I was thinking about this yesterday during Dirty Sanchez’ diatribe. If I’m Jodi’s dad they’d have to restrain me and escort me from the court room because I promise you I’m going after Martinez for the way he’s talking about my daughter.
I’m fairly cool and calm but when you fuck with my daughter Jodi who is 24 I get crazy.
Hell just sitting here watching Dirty Sanchez bash Jodi I wanted to reach in my laptop screen and pull his carcass thru it and bash his brains in.

    Just sayin’…….

      • So much was being said about Alice being a man hater, I think Juanitos is the one that has a problem, with women. Much like Travis the anal raping saint of Mesa did. He really has it in for Jodi. He cannot possible have a wife or daughter and be such an angry little douche nozzle.

  41. If this jury hands down this State-sanctioned premeditated murder sentence then I want all of them tried for M1 with the possibility of facing a firing squad. Deep down everyone knows TA’s death was no more than manslaughter if that. How does old Beelzebub aka JM close his eyes at night? I almost feel like this is the future and it has a Hunger Games type atmosphere where we derive entertainment from killing people for sport. None of this can ever be justified…talk about some sick shit.

    • they bought into all of his bullshit, all of his lies, all of his shock value, all of the lying ass siblings, they bought it all, they ate the hln shit! That’s what caused this.

    • I have thought that about our so-called civilization for some time, Gwen. With the death penalty still in place, people watching not only boxing, nowadays, but Ultimate Fighting and other blood sports! This trial has really opened my eyes to such an ugly and evil side of America.

      • Lets not forget Travis and his saintly friends enjoyed weekly Ultimate fighting shows where he charged them to cover his costs. Sorry but I find it quite disgusting. I wouldn’t try to ban it, but you can’t be a saint and like that crap.

        • I, too, find it disgusting. It is the same (if not worse) than the days of the gladiators. And it doesn’t make me sad that it is legal – it makes me sad that people want to watch it ‘for fun.’ Sick.

          • I didn’t even know about it until one day my nephew (who I adore) was staying over and wanted to watch it. Since he is an adult I said sure. But you must pay for it and I’m going to bed.

        • I almost forgot about that sick hobby of his! Saint my ass! Who likes to watch pure uncensored violence?Only sickos, people who fantasize and/or commit violent acts themselves.

        • He charged his friends?? What an Ass!!! Oh, sorry..Jodi probably didn’t have any more $$ to “loan” to that “successful business man”..he truly was a jerk!

  42. Hi everybody!! Wow, I’m really hatin’ that damn prunny face judge…… and I can’t look at the Alexander sibs much longer either. Call me cruel, but I have seen the way the tears bust out especially today when they didn’t hear what they wanted, I could not have been the only person that noticed Samantha’s appropriate tears at the just right time as the jury was leaving they were scrambling for the tissue box, she and her ugly ass sister taniqua wtf………………. I,m ranting I know but does it smell like shit in there or is it just Stephens upper lip he’s constantly sniffing up at wtf……………. oh wait maybe Nancy G is in the court room today does anybody no? Give it a rest HLN.

    • NG was on the phone a little while ago with someone on HLN and she was telling them about the hung jury and about the AZ law changing about death penalty…and about if Jodi Arias got out of prison when she was still in her 50’s…NG said she would still be young enough to get out of prison and “knock” off someone else…her statement sounded so stupid…grrr…

I would fear and be more afraid of NG any day than I ever would Jodi…LOL…

      • Hell, ugly NG has always been out and should be behind bars for all the live’s she’s taken due to her hideous bullying tactics.

Jodi, at her worst isn’t as fugly as NG is every day.

  43. So if the jury is hung and jm offers Jodi a plea deal of LWOP, and she takes it – would that hurt any appeal? I just would rather her stick to her position that she should have been given M2 (imo more like manslaughter) and not cave in. But at the same time, I don’t want to see her suffer any longer. I guess, I really want her to be free.

    • As do we all. Also, I would hope she would have the help she needs to get back to the person she WAS before the fucker and the cult pulled her in

    • I don’t know if that could ever happen though because this has prolly changed her for the rest of her life. Maybe she could have help to move past it, I just want to see her go on and be able to live without this crap following her forever.

      • hmm they have taken more time than they did before reporting they could not reach unanimous verdict

        • I’m guessing they’ll stay til close to the end of the day so it appears they ‘worked’ on it – then they’ll come back with no verdict. Only my guess, as I’m assuming those that want DP are reptiles who will not budge while the Life people are the ones who were bullied and now will not budge either.

But to qualify my statements; I have been wrong about many things in this case. There is no ‘common sense.’

  44. Luke 6:37
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
    Matthew 6:14-16
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
    Mark 11:25
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
No one had the moral authority to condemn a fellow human to death, Jesus said. He condemned the Old Testament belief “an eye for an eye”. TRUE Christians CANNOT believe in the death penalty.
The Moron church made a statement ” We neither promote nor oppose capital punishment.” regarding this case, even though “blood atonement” is no longer accepted (since 1978) by the LDS church.
What statistics do show is that victims impacted, who demand the Death Penalty, are consumed with hatred, vengeance, and revenge making it impossible to ever find Peace in their lives, now, or in the afterlife according to Jesus.
The Haters who want a Death penalty will end up paying a great price.

    • Jan, great post. I was in a tweet convo earlier today where they were holding a prayer visual so the jury would be unanimous for death. I tweeted back and said that putting JA to death would not ease their pain and would only be defeating in the end. Again well said.

  45. How do you eat and talk about killing someone?

    I’m getting more worried………..

  46. I was driving home and thought if the verdict was out? Just then, a truck pulled up in front of me in big letters LIFE! It was a Vons truck, advertising for healthy food ingredients.

    • BE Well that is the prompting of the angels…they send us signs all the time…do we notice them…some of us do and some of us don’t…apparently you are one of the ones that notices their telltale signs…

It is awesome…I live in that world every walking day of my life…signs…signs…everywhere signs…always an answer to a prayer…

      • I agree with you truthseeker. I am sensitive to signs all the time.

I think receiving the summons for jury duty in Maricopa Superior Court today was a sign for something. I remember a book that said there were no such things as coincidences. The Celestine Prophecy.

  47. On HLN, muted. They seem constipated and full of air! HLN must be frustrated that Jodi won’t give them air time. Good for her!

  48. I love how HLN keeps making a big deal about her putting on make up for those interviews last night, “OMG who does that when your life is on the line!!!” As far as I know she has very little to look forward to in jail, no real access to make up and no one to dress up for.. So she doesn’t want to look like shit on TV.. wtf who gives a shit? And that Ryan Owens douche face asked her if it was a defense tactic to go from blonde bombshell to mousey brown blah… Didn’t he know she had been incarcerated for the last 5 years? Didn’t he know that “they don’t sell clairol” behind bars? I’m really annoyed with what the media chooses to focus on.

    • The TV crew probably told her it was necessary for the close ups and did it for her. They are the ones who never go without it. IMO she looks better without make up, gentle, natural and beautiful.

      • Of course the TV crew does makeup!! Like “Sky” Tanisha and Sammy don’t get frickin make up applied before an interview? But of course if they are talking about Jodi it’s wrong!!

  49. They are replaying that interview again on HLN….accuses her of not saying that she was sorry…they are such lying idiots on HLN…

    SORRY…Jodi says SORRY

At 16.42 seconds into the video Jodi says “for that, I will be sorry for the rest of my life”

Jodi does say she is “sorry” right after the part where she is talking about Travis…she says, “at one point he meant the world to me”…then she talked about not knowing that she was capable of that…and before that day she wouldn’t even hurt a spider…then she said…”for that, I will be sorry for the rest of my life”

I don’t know if Jodi said that she was sorry any other time during her statement…but I happened to be watching it when I heard her say that she was sorry in that above paragraph….

    http://abcnews.go.com/US/jodi-arias-jury-begins-death-penalty-deliberations/story?id=19226148#.UZzhAbWkqtY

    • Truthseeker, thank you for posting the above.

HLN fools lie about fuck all.

And the public doesn’t even know it. Many otherwise intelligent people have been duped by them.

      So thank you.

  50. * The Sinister Nature of the Arizona ‘Penalty Phase’

    – The AZ penalty phase uses Death as the default outcome of a conviction in a capital case.

    – Every other State that I am aware of uses Life as the default outcome of a conviction in a capital case.

    – In AZ, if a jury cannot unanimously agree with Death as the penalty, they seat a new jury and try again.

    – In other States, if a jury cannot unanimously agree with Death as the penalty, the Judge gives a Life sentence. Trial Over.

Summary: In AZ, the default is Death. In other States, the default is Life.

    IANAL.

    • If you lived here you would understand. Lots of red necked haters and racists.

      • We have a few of those here in Tennessee. We still sequester juries in hi-profile/capital cases, though.

    • I believe in most states, the death penalty comes to the table when there are multiple Class I Felonies: Murder 1 during an Armed Robbery, or Murder 1, Rape, Kidnapping, etc etc.

In Arizona it sounds scary. If the prosecutor can scare the jury into seeing the murder was “extra bad” (WHATEVER THAT MEANS) then they can decide DP.

If you get a prosecutor like Juan Martinez, apparently all you have to do is “channel” Nancy Grace and you’ve got the jury believing that this is the worst murder ever.

People forget that ALL PROSECUTORS use the same worn out argument: if it’s a robbery case, then they tell the jury it was the worst robbery they ever saw.

If it was kidnapping, it was the most horrific one.

Murder is always the worst murder, until the next trial.

  51. I posted this on the previous page before I knew a new page had been started. I didn’t want this information to be lost in the shuffle.

Maricopa County is Corrupt to its core:

While researching death row prisons in Arizona, I came across some further information about the corruption of the Maricopa County’s Attorney’s office. In 2009, a 48 year old female inmate by the name of Marcia Powell was basically murdered by the Correctional staff of Perryville Prison. She was left in an outdoor cage in above 107 degree heat for over four hours, despite pleading to be let in. Prison policy prohibits an inmate being left in an outdoor cage for over two hours. She was also refused the right to use the restroom facilities and died in her own excrement. The cause of death was complications from heat exhaustion, which was evidenced by her severly burned and blistered body. Maricopa County Attorney’s office chose not to prosecute those involved stating “insufficient evidence to go forward with a prosecution of the involved parties”.

The corruption goes so deep, I shudder to think of how many inmates are being killed in the prison system without ever having recieved the “Death Penalty” that the blood thirsty prosecutors are so fond of.

    • You nailed it. They only went after Jodi because of Mormon pressure. I’m aware of other cases where they grossly overcharge the defendants and then brag about it.

      • Jeff you nailed it too I have heard about the Mormon pressure. Sick bastards.

  52. Someone in that room is standing strong, folks.

I don’t think they’re going to give in!

  53. Good afternoon, everyone! I just got home and I don’t know about you, but I’m cautiously optimistic. The fact that there is a deadlocked jury right now I think is good news for Jodi. It’s one thing to be a “sideline juror” jockeying from your couch or seat at the bar, but it’s another when you’re actually on the jury.

I’m watching our old friends at HLN, the “talking heads” and right now they look like chickens without heads. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of people so impatient about wanting someone to die. I don’t blame Jodi one bit for refusing to do any interviews with HLN. They can go stick it IMHO.

Keep the faith, Team Jodi! This isn’t going to happen overnight, but together, little-by-little, we’re going to get this done. 🙂

    • Hi Frank Queen….

We were missing you…so glad you are here with us now…

      • Truthseeker1111: I am here for you and everyone here 24/7. 🙂 I assure you that I am not going anywhere.

  54. Jodi said “SORRY”! Does she need to say in Spanish” Lo Siento?” or in sign language?

    • Someone needs to send those lying folks at HLN a tweet…that at 16.42 seconds into the video Jodi says “for that, I will be sorry for the rest of my life”

They only want to tell people what they want you to hear…they are the control freaks…

    • Oh but she didn’t turn around and say to the Alexanders: “I’m so sorry.”

Of course, if she did, they’d be saying “How dare she even look at them?”

      • I know media keeps admonishing Jodi for not turning to the TA family and saying she was sorry. Under the rules of the court she is NOT ALLOW to do this. Wow, talk about attacking her for following the court rules. Too bad, JM, didn’t do the same. He violated one rule after the other. Did media make one reference to this….NO. Only what a “Rock Star” he was. Pathetic and disgusting.

        • Jennifer W. had daggers in her eyes for jm though did you see her fire….

    • She said she’ll be sorry forever! I want to know how to hear only what I want to hear like all of these people bc my life would be so much happier!

  55. I’m really sick to my stomach. I watched the crap from court today which I missed live but found some of it on YouTube and for the rest I had to go to that absolutely disgusting FB page. I’ve tried really really hard to stay out of the bashing of the Alexanders for the most part. But man, watching them cry today, I just lost it. And watching the Hughes behind them and Sky smiling that weird smile. UGH! The worst part was that

Can someone please please please explain to me WHY so many people believe in the death penalty in this country? Can someone please tell me why it’s EVER justifiable?

Why do the Alexanders want Jodi dead? It isn’t going to bring their brother back to them. It isn’t even going to stop Steven’s nightmares or make the photos of their brother that they see in their mind go away. When I was 15, my beloved father died suddenly of a heart attack. I did NOT want to see him dead. But one of his friends thought I needed to see his body laid out in his coffin otherwise, I wouldn’t believe he was really dead, and he dragged me over there kicking and screaming, literally. It was the most disgusting thing I’d ever seen. He didn’t look ONE BIT like my Daddy. His lips looked purple and his face didn’t look like its normal colour. That was 32 years ago, and you know what? I still can’t get that image out of my head. I’ve tried and tried and tried. I still have nightmares about it, although they’re not as frequent as they used to be. I keep trying to replace that image of Daddy with the way I remember him, but it doesn’t work, and I’ll forever see him as a corpse unfortunately. Since that day, I NEVER go to wakes. I NEVER go to funerals. I NEVER go to graveyards. I’ve offended several friends but I just can not do it. How can the Alexanders actually believe that seeing Jodi put to death will help them heal? It won’t. They’ll just have YET another image to haunt them.

How can ALL these other despicable people who post all over the internet want Jodi to get the death penalty? What does it matter to them? If she gets the death penalty, it will be appealed for the next 20 odd years. Many of them won’t even be alive by then. Others will have long forgotten who she even is. They got their conviction. They got their aggravating factor. Isn’t that enough?

NEWSFLASH: Jodi didn’t kill a whole bunch of kids in an elementary school. She didn’t kill a whole bunch of people in a cinema. She didn’t molest and kill a whole bunch of young boys and bury them in her back yard. She didn’t terrorize the nation for months with sniper killings. She didn’t fly planes into the twin towers in New York and the Pentagon in DC. So why do some people hate her more than ALL of the above killers combined? I mean, seriously?

She killed ONE man, just ONE. Even if they’ve been brainwashed to believe everything on HLN and you think she stalked him and she crept in through his doggy door and she was possessive around him, and slashed his tires, she’s not a serial killer! I don’t care if they believe she’s a sociopath and has no emotions either. Why does killing her make anything right? She’s ONE woman who killed ONE man. That’s it.

She’s going to prison for a long long time, no matter what happens with appeals or anything else. Life in prison isn’t a cakewalk. Her family and friends won’t get to see her much, but at least, she’ll still be alive for them. These people say they feel sorry for the Alexander family, but why does killing Jodi and devastating the Arias family make that any better?

Jodi isn’t going to give interviews every day from prison. If she gives one, don’t watch it. She’s not going to even matter in a few months when the Evil Gods of HLN move on to something else — their next victim to rile up the masses about. Jodi will be a blip in the news when something happens with an appeal, and that’s YEARS from now and most of them will be lost in the beginning, at least. 20 years from now, maybe she’ll win one. Or, if she gets the death penalty, maybe 20 years from now, she’ll be executed. What the hell is the difference?

And if it comes out that Jodi didn’t really kill Travis and someone else did, how do you think the family will feel then?

I just really need someone to explain to me WHY it’s sooooo important to so many people that she gets the death penalty! Because I cannot stomach it, not for the life of me. It’s the most disgusting thing.

    • It makes no sense at all to me. She was already convicted. Why do they want her dead? They say they just want this to be over but it won’t be bc of appeals so that is bs.

    • That family’s psychological started when they were youngsters living in a hell hole of a house with drug addicted parents with little or no food…

That family should have been in counseling for most of their lives….their problems did not start with Jodi…yet they want to blame Jodi for everything…

The sister only started the body shakes and crying when she peeped and saw the camera on her…HLN and AZ central films the trial live from slightly different angles…and if you watch both at the same time you get to see more of the sneakiness of those cries at the camera…when the camera is not on them or at their backs they are not carrying on like that…

Usually I am not this critical…but I have seen this over and over again…and many other people see the same thing so I know that it is not my imagination…

      • Yup Truth, I dont know what it will take for these FOOLS to realize that TA family onky want death and they want death to put an END to all there missory, as if Jodi caused all that! In a few years they’ll realize that they’re STILL sorry trailer trash piece of shits, they WILL KEEP adding to ALL there criminal charges, they WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS be the same kindda people they are, looking for people to take advantage of, looking for someone to blame, looking for something to steal or something to snort! Bunch of PATHETIC LOSERS!!!!!

    • “She’s not going to even matter in a few MONTHS when the Evil Gods of HLN move on to something else — their next victim to rile up the masses about. ”

She’s not going to even matter in a few HOURS .. to HLN.

    • It is disgusting. It’s the most premeditated type of killing that can be. It’s flat out murder. I joined up with these people last week. They’ve really got a good thing going, quite a following. We WILL get this repealed in Arizona. It may take some time but it’ll get done. We need to work on getting it abolished nationwide.

      • Great, Jeff. You must have been reading my mind. I was thinking this would be a good time for those of us on Team Jodi who are anti-DP to get involved in getting it abolished, not just for Jodi’s sake but for the sake of this country’s karma.

    • I know AA..the only thing I can think of is that HLN started this whole train rolling…

  56. I need to breathe… sad thing is, after this is all over; they will find their next victim to crucify.

The hate mongers will do anything to make her look bad. Remember HLN and haters screaming that Jodi had “multiple infractions” in jail, including hiding pens (Oh MY!) and a fight??

Then sheriff joe, who HATES Jodi says, “No, she had ONE infraction and it involved crayons”

Yeah, big bad dangerous Jodi with her color crayons.

I hope they all burn in hell. 👿

    • Agreed.

Kind of weird, though, isn’t it that Sherriff Joe is more honest that than rabble of ingrates. He had to set the record straight.

It’s just crayons, people. Get over it. lol

    • You know HLN is ridiculous when a Sheriff is sticking up for you.

HLN is already starting to talk about Zimmerman and another blonde accused of killing her boyfriend. It’s disgusting.

      • Remember in the Casey Anthony trial,
the talking heads were talking about ONE that might have a not guilty vote?
When the verdict came in all 12 not guilty VINNIE, comment WOW, just WOW!
I’ve heard WOW from him today several time!!

I agree with the one that said looking at them, you don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
They being the ass clowns all through the circus trial, I hope that they look in the mirror and see what the ass clowns look like.

    • Hiding pens … in jail. Shit, that’s such a crime, isn’t it. When I was a kid, I stole scissors from school. I guess I should be put to death NOW.

A fight in jail of all places? Only one?

      • It wasnt even true… sheriff joe said ONE infraction, involving crayons.

        NO PENS; NO FIGHTS

  57. What kills me is that this family wants Jodi to get the DP. So does that mean they are going to continue to wallow in misery for the next two decades, never able to move past this loss, never able to put aside the hate until the day Jodi dies on the table? So they are basically going to let the death of their “beloved” brother consume their very existence? They are going to let this define their entire life? In my opinion, that is giving Jodi even more power. As I have said before, continuing this hatred and resentment just allows the hurt to continue over and over again.

If they don’t let this go and move on, they are doomed to live a life of hatred and resentment, ill health and poor relationships. Forever.

    • They already live a life of hatred and resentment. Which is why they are all felons. They need MASSIVE counseling to deal with whatever childhood abuse left them so soulless and empty.

      • Quite true Renee’! The cycle will continue with their children if they don’t get the proper help.

        • ‘proper help’

          vasectomies and hysterectomies….just saying….:)

          • and I completely agree.just as one of my best friends always says ”somep people must be allowed to have children”

      • Yup, that’s right Renee. They HATE everyone and the world. The ONLY reason they’re getting along with so many now is because half of the population are against Jodi.

  58. Maybe this is going to end up good. Whatever happens. If she gets an appeal HLN will have moved on by then and maybe she can have a somewhat normal appeal. Or am I too optimistic?

    • (PINCH)… Danielle, are you awake now? LOL. I dont think lions and lazars would keep NG and the death squad away from this trial. They will be airing crap about this until she is nose up or toes up.

I think we are passed the “nose up” option, but we can hope.

      • LOL – They’re just so ready to leech on to the next person I thought maybe she could fly under the radar w an appeal.

They seem pissed Jodi’s case may run into the Zimmerman case.

        • Yes, Danielle I was thinking yhe same thing. With the Zimmerman case turning racial, i think itll be as big if not bigger. HLN already said this morning that they’ll be ALL OVER THIS ONE TOO. So, hopefully, Jodis case will simmer down a little but its WRONG how these haters will start bullying and taking someone else life. I also blv there will be a lot more hatred in this case, a lot more danger.

          • As I said before, this Zimmerman case is going to be a real “Stalingrad”! We all know the only thing that sells more than sex is race.:-(

  59. A little cannon fader to throw out there…while we wait…

I believe we may be winessing the creation of either the most hated person or the most loved person in AZ.

Imagine if there is only one juror stopping the DP from going through! This person will become an instant DEVIL on HLeN and in AZ…shit..across the country. The Haters will tear this poor bastard (they voted for guilt, they are still a bastard IMO) apart. Think of what they will do! The person may as well move this weekend, because they will NEVER be able to hide from this.

On the other hand, think of the “Hero” they will be creating if there is only one juror that is sticking to the DP when the others are all wanting Life. This person will be paraded around the networks with inerview and book deals until they cant shit without hitting gold. They will make this fucker seem like the next coming of christ.

I sure hope there are atleast 2-3 on each side. If not…you wait…you will see the most rediculious media feeding frenzy of all time on HLeN.

    • Sirlips,
Vere said, she hiding under the juror table…
      I texted her this…
“When we can learn by, reason and judgment and understanding and faith that all life is worth saving, and that mercy is the highest attribute of man.”
      I hope she get it!

    • You’re so right Sirlips!
Just wrong on this one ”They will make this fucker seem like the next coming of christ.”
I’ve read a hater’s posting that she” really feels that Travis is a 21st century Jesus.”
      YEP,that’s right!!
And then she went on comparing them, highligting their similarities in life and death!!!
      I mean w….t….f……?

    • That’s why that juror or jurors need our prayers too…. they are going against the HLN & public “grain” and they will pay for it…. God Bless them and keep them safe. Our Lord is mightier than evil doers.

    • Frightening thoughts, Sirlips, really. And I thought we were a civilized society.

  60. YOU JUST HEARD IT ON HLN….NOW WE KNOW WHO THEY ARE GOING TO PERSECUTE NEXT…

    GEORGE ZIMMERMAN

Ryan just said what Zimmerman was doing to drag Trayvon Martin through the mud

    • The only thing that I remember reading about this case…this is compiled from many reports…Trayvon Martin walked the neighborhood often in his dad’s girlfriends gated community…in this gated community there had been a rash of robberies…then it was said that different people had reported seeing a tall slender black male with a hoodie in their area of the community during the time of the robberies…

They only thing that I ever thought was…because Trayvon Martin fit the description of being a tall slender black male wearing a hoodie that some had seen during robbery times…I feel that Trayvon’s father and his girlfriend should never had let Trayvon walk the streets in that community knowing good and well that the community hired Zimmerman to patrol the area because of the rash of robberies…

I feel the parents are as much to blame as anyone for what happened to Trayvon Martin for not keeping him off the streets in that neighborhood…

I have a son too…and we have had numerous robberies in our area over the past two years…and had my son’s description fit the description of those other kids that were seen walking our streets…then I sure as hell would not have let my son walk the streets…

(By the way, my son never has asked to walk the streets…he knows that I would never let him do that anyway….it is not safe out there on the streets)

      • Didn’t you know that it’s a crime to be tall, slim, black and wear a hoodie?

I mean, it’s a crime to be of hispanic descent, dye your hair blonde, then brown again, and date a Mormon guy too.

    • Ryan should have said he and his nest of viper rats have already spoken. They already voted and are gearing for a re-do with Zimmerman, using the same Hater manifesto they followed with Jodi.

      Facts be damned.

      • same ol’ same ol’ Rainy…they will continue to do this with any high profile case that comes along..hopefully tho, people will start to see what they are doing…I have faith that the human population can’t stay that stupid forever!!!

    • Oh yeaaaaaa……. I saw that this morning. I was so pissed, I vented on the VENT page! Lol
They’re so full of shit. I dont know much about the case either, but whatever HLN thinks, im not listening and I sure dont want to agree with them. Kindda sad for both sides. HLN needs to be shut down. Its pretty bad how ill be on the opposite side of whatever HLN thinks. What about if one day they’re right?! NOT!!!!

  61. This HLN guy about the Zimmerman case. He says Now I’ve been in fist fights and every single time I’ve gotten marks on my hands. Just goes to show HLNers have been douche bags way before they got the job.

  62. Inadvertantly HLeN does give me some news value…. Basically if i want the truth and the facts, i listen to HLeN then assume the opposite is 100% true!

  63. “It’s just really tragic after all the horrors of the last 1,000 years we can’t leave behind something as primitive as government sponsored execution.” –
    Russ Feingold

    • Great quote, Josh.
I was so disappointed when Russ Feingold was defeated by Ron Johnson for Senator seat here in Wisconsin….
He was the ONLY Senator with the balls and sense to vote against invading Iraq to search for those ostensible wmd…

      • He wasn’t the only senator to vote against war with Iraq. Robert Byrd and a few others voted against war as well.

        • Tony, thank you for paying attention! I stand corrected and enlightened as well. Googled that there were actually 23 senators who voted against the Iraq War. I think I was confusing this with an earlier vote -> “In 2001, Feingold was the lone Senator who voted against the USA Patriot Act, despite pressure for a unanimous vote….While he supported 90% of the Patriot Act, he “voted against it because certain provisions…represent a very dangerous infringement on our civil liberties.”

          • Ron and Rand Paul both oppose the Patriot Act as well. I too strongly believe in seperation of powers as well. I cannot believe what FDR got away with during WW2! Putting Japanese Americans in prison camps WITHOUT consent of congress is a stain that will NEVER be removed from his presidency!!!

  64. Hi Also Abused, I am sorry to hear of your dear dad and how difficult it has been for you all these years. It is dangerous to be around ppl with revenge on their minds. The senselessness of hate is a disguise of their own personal demise. We will never understand the motivations behind TA’s death. It seems politically and financially motivated. I do believe Travis has forgiven Jodi. The DP mob are cowards.

    • As much as I believe TA was a POS, I do believe he has forgiven her…either for defending herself from his rage, or he knows someone else did this…

    • Oh thanks Be Well. I didn’t post that for sympathy, just as an example of how you never forget.

As a practicing Buddhist, I believe someone like Travis — who doesn’t appear to have yet reached enlightenment in this life — will be or has been reborn within at most, 7 years of his passing, but typically within 49 days (thus, he may well have already been reborn). His body “died” the way the lived, as we all do. During his time in latency (also called the stages of bardo), he voyaged through a mystic journey back to life. He had the opportunity to contemplate his previous forms (life) and the karma he brought with him before his rebirth.

Towards the end of his life, it seems he was making efforts to improve himself, and many say he made efforts towards the happiness of others. Whether there was a darkness inside him, he seems to have been loved by many. Whether intended or not, his life and death have had profound meaning to others (those of us here and those of us on the “other” type of sites). Perhaps in the long run, his life and death serve to teach something very important to all who have heard of him. Perhaps the life of Travis Alexander inspires some to be a better person because they believe he rose from a difficult childhood, and if he did, anyone can. Perhaps his relationship with Jodi teaches some women to look for red flags in relationships they wouldn’t previously have thought to look for. Perhaps the stories of Jodi being a stalker (even though they’re not true) will save someone from an actual dangerous stalker. Perhaps a man on his way to becoming a full-fledged abuser will hear himself in Travis’s words, and hear of the programs offered by Alyce and Bob Geffner and seek help. Perhaps the child he is now in his rebirth will someday hear the story of Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias and learn deeply from it. Either way, his life was not in vain.

I think these are concepts any person of any religion can relate to, right?

  65. Is it true that Jury cannot agree, and SS sent them back to return with unanimous verdict? How can that be? If deadlock, can the judge force them?

    • Good question Be Well,
      I was wondering the same!
Could it be 11 want live in prison and 1 the DP???

    • She cannot force them they have the right to say we talked it every which way and we cannot reach any middle ground. I do not see them reaching a consensus for life. There are probably hold outs for life and hopefully they don’t give in to the pressure. If they cannot reach a consensus she will call a mistrial on this portion only and need a new jury for this portion.

    • Not forcing. That would be illegal. Just trying to get them to work on it some more.

Rather interesting little point, (don’t want cast the mal de ojo on Jodi so this is typed with fingers crossed) but the response this judge gave to the jury was verbatim from a response a past judge gave that the AZ supreme court upheld as not being coercive.

“It appears from your note that you are at a deadlock in your deliberations.   I have some suggestions to help your deliberations, not to force you to reach a verdict.   I am merely trying to be responsive to your apparent need for help.   I do not wish or intend to force a verdict.   Each juror has a duty to consult with one another, to deliberate with a view to reaching an agreement if it can be done without violence to individual judgment.   No juror should surrender his or her honest conviction as to the weight or effect of the evidence solely because of the opinion of other jurors or for the purpose of reaching a verdict.

However, you may want to identify areas of agreement and disagreement and discuss the law and the evidence as they relate to the areas of disagreement.

If you still disagree, you may wish to tell the attorneys and me which issues, questions, law, or facts you would like us to assist you with.   If you decide to follow this suggestion, please write down the issues, questions, law or facts on which we can possibly help.   Please give your note to the bailiff.   We will then discuss your note and try to help.”

Pickles didn’t even have the gumption to write her own. These words are from another case and were delivered by Judge Brian Ishikawa. I will leave it at that.

    • I think the reason the judge urged them to deliberate some more was because they sent out their issue on a jury question form, rather than a verdict form. That gave reason to believe that they may have sought further instruction but had not yet decided this was their verdict: a hung jury. Does that make sense?

  66. If the jury is unable to come to a unanimous decision, I wonder how the hold out juror(s) will be treated by the public? I hope they aren’t given the treatment that Jodi, ALV, Dr. Samuels, Patty Womack and other have received. It’s not easy to stand your ground against the crowd. I hope they continue to stand their ground and don’t give in to the pressure.

    • Hard to say…many people in the US are against the DP, so maybe those jurors won’t face universal backlash.

  67. The jury deliberating only 4:30 and the talking heads and people standing around the court house “IN SHOCK”? Give me a fucking break.
If this doesn’t tell a lot of people, this is jst wrong, what will?

The judges always say NOT to show any kind of emotion OR they will be sent out of court has been a joke.
The brother and sister have made all kind of exprestions throughout this trial and continued today..

JUST because the jury can’t come to a DP all ready, the sister TRIES to burst out in tears.
    DO WHAT????
Jodi has been sentenced for 1st degree murder AND they want be satisfied unless she get’s the DP?
    SICK!!!!

The talking heads in SHOCK? OH, PLEASE!!!.
They are so worried that Jodi won’t get the DP, that if she doesn’t, I think that they will have a stroke.
SOMETHING is DAMN wrong with these kind of people.

OH! Forget trying to make good in prison, they’ve already said NO to that.
I feel like I’m living in a faraway country.

Isn’t Jodi supposed to try and do the best that she can in prison. HELPING??
    OH HELL NO!!
    CAN YOU BELIEVE!
If she helped a lot of women in prison, think of how many she could help in maybe NOT returning to prison.

I’m sick and disgusted at mankind.

I hope it’s a hung jury and they have to take it to another state ir country.
Juan should have taken the offer of 2nd degree.
Reminds me of greed shows, only this is Jodi, a living beautiful preson that wants to help others, God forbid.

Why isn’t allowed to help others?

    • They are SICK! Then if this jury can’t come up with the DP or LIFE, then they’ll give it to 12 different jurors. They are EXPECTED to agree with the 1st degree murder verdic and decided if she deserves the DP or LIFE.THEEEENNNNNNN I THEY cant decided itll go to the judge. How in the world is that fair? So, the state has three chance to kill her. Because WE know what that judge will do!

  68. So is this a good thing that the jury are still working on a decision of life or death wonder if they are under pressure by another juror to change there decision to go with the rest of them

    • Absolutely, it’s a good thing for those of us who would prefer life in prison rather than the death penalty. I wonder if one or more jurors are under pressure, too. If I were on that jury, I swear before all that’s good and holy, I would not succumb to the pressure. But we don’t don’t know the jury and all we can do is pray. Wishing the jury would just give us a verdict so everyone has at least that aspect of closure.

    • I believe it is good.

I believe there’s at least one person in that room who refuses to be responsible for Jodi’s death. And I do not believe they’re going to cave.

      • Yes, I think there may be 4.. this part of the response from SS would be meaningful to those wanting Life :

“No juror should surrender his or her honest conviction as to the weight or effect of the evidence solely because of the opinion of other jurors or for the purpose of reaching a verdict.”

  69. Why do they keep talking to Juror 8???! Shouldn’t he be concerned about his damned DUI instead of running his mouth? But, according to him, Jodi likes attention!! The NERVE !!

    • They did not kick Juror 8 off of the Jury, they removed him because he is stupid!

      • It just shows how desperate they are because Jodi refuses to acknowledge them!!

      • he was stupid drunk…and even bragged to the police officer that pulled him over that he was a juror on the Jodi Arias trial…like that would make a difference in his arrest or not…

I guess his alcohol level kept him from remembering his admonition and not supposed to tell anyone about the trial…

    • And according to him the other night his wife has a temper and wanted to throw something at the tv at Jodi…

He drinks….she has a temper….sound like their relationship is like “oil and water” too…

      • Ha! He probably wanted to take his frustrations with his wife out on Jodi–everyone should NOT be allowed to be a juror….or vote for that matter since that’s the qualification.

      • Someone posted earlier:

“Dr. Drew refers to his interview last night with Juror 8, and says that he felt the jury was quite committed to DP all along”

Wow, there’s no other way to explain a statement like that other than that they had to have been discussing it.

    • Let him talk as much as he wants.Maybe he will help us after all 😉

  70. Dear Team Jodi & Friends:

I wanted to check-in and just let you all know that I am here and I am always here for you 24/7. Watching HLN, I don’t know whether to laugh or to get pissed off. These people are an absolute joke. The way that they are ganging up on Jodi and saying and doing everything that they can to smear her is beyond pathetic. They also can’t wait to expedite her death sentence which they all assumed only yesterday was a slam dunk. Well, the way things are going, that slam dunk might actually turn out to be a personal foul. And, those of you who follow basketball know that this gets the other team two more shots. How about two more shots for Jodi Arias?

I can only imagine how somber the mood will be at HLN if the jury comes back this evening without a verdict. I seriously think that Nancy Grace’s head will explode. Vinnie Politan might even shed some tears. And, I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear the faint sounds of “Taps” playing…gently. 😉

Now, all kidding aside, I’m proud to be here with all of you and I don’t care if HLN, the TravisTown pedo-huggers or anyone else likes it or not. I would go through hell in a gasoline suit for Jodi Arias because I know she’s innocent and I’ll never stop supporting her or Team Jodi.

    • Frank…if it goes to appeals…there will be a lot of town people that they can subpoena to come testify in her behalf….

Darryl is saying that Jodi was thought fondly of by the town people from where he is from…and the interviewer asked Darryl where are those folks now…and Darryl said they are at the same place and there was not much effort to get those folks to come forth to trial…the folks volunteered but apparently the defense and others did not get the folks to come to trial…

Folks…she would have had a town full of folks that thought fondly of her…why didn’t the defense get these people to trial to speak up for Jodi???

Darryl feels that Jodi did NOT get a fair trial…that the trial was polluted from the start…and he has strong opinions on the way that the Maricopa County has proceeded and he says that the appeals process will be telling…

Way to go Darryl…God Bless You…and all of the town folks…God Bless You TOO!!!

Please be available for appeals hearings…thanks…

      http://www.azcentral.com/mobile/www/article.php?url=http://www.azcentral.com/community/mesa/articles/20130520jodi-arias-ex-boyfriend-speaks.html

      • Sorry Truthseeker,

No testimony in appeals. Lawyers argue the law, mainly in writing. The appeals court may, doesn’t have to but may, allow oral arguments for a limited period of time (like half and hour) but most of that time is spent answering questions from the judges.

        • But how about if they have to do a redo of the penalty phase with a second jury? Can you bring in testimony that you didn’t in the first go around?

      • I thought that interview with Darryl Brewer was fantastic. I don’t get why that couldn’t have been told to the jury, just the way he was in the interview.

  71. I feel like the jurors just now have realized what they chose and convicted Jodi Arias of committing. They’ve just now realized wait a minute that whole time she testified she was abused by Travis you mean she was telling the truth? Maybe we got it wrong. And now I have to play God and decide whether to kill or her not?

It was so easy for them to come to M1 because Jodi lies…

    • I think they KNEW it was either LIFE or DEATH for Jodi, no?

“I think” whats happening is what happened with the guilty verdict: there’s one or two jurors sitting in the middle and thecrest are trying to talk them into making that decision that everyone is expecting. That coward or those cowards that can’t stand up for themselves and say NO, ITS NOT RIGHT, I BLV HER! They’re stuck!

    • Oh,FLNJANG i think you’re being too lenient with them jurors. These are the same fuckheads that convicted her.Why would they change their minds now?
In my opinion,no they havent swayed from their M1 verdict yet putting someone to death is entirely different.

      • They’re idiots. I’m so upset after watching that Ryan Owens interview. Omg!!

  72. Do we know what time the jury will deliberate until before going home for the day?

      • K, I wasn’t sure because it seems like they sometimes stop at 430, but they made their own schedule for verdict deliberations.. confusing-ish.

    • I read somewhere earlier that it was from 1-4:30 pm AZ time…I don’t know if this is accurate or not…

        • that’s right…I forgot the 0 after my 1 making it 10….thanks for keeping my back…LOL…

        • Cool, thanks all. Too late for my blood either way. I wish everyone a good night, and I’ll be hailing Mary from bed 🙂
          Happy thoughts!!

  73. Has anyone heard from Basse lately? Hope she is doing ok. Hmmm…

    Basssseeeeee….. Where are you………?

    Marco….

        • I don’t know he or she at all…I only read what one of the site moderators was questioning about this person on a page or two over…that’s all…

          • Basse has made her FB profile pic the travis in a bag, as well as dead travis’ face… the things she says has her hated by the Travisites. She gave me her real Twitter account, and I saw she has been in Jodi’s camp FOREVER. I respect the admins and posters here… but I have kept her my FB friend, and I don’t believe she was ever a troll.

I have seen NO ONE on the Internet who hates TA and Alexanders more.

            • I HATE the Alexanders more!!! ; )) JK, just trying to lighten up the mood. I really don’t know why anyone would be two sided, she sounded truthful to me.

              • Where has she been? I haven’t seen her on since the first post of her maybe being a troll? She gave me some feedback a few times I she had me convinced that she was behind Jodi. But then people began posting other things that she said. So I don’t know I trusted her.

                • Hi all,

I’ve tried to email her but I have not heard back yet.

I am wondering if she gave up?

If you want to message her and let her know I am still interested in getting them back on here, that would be great.

      • What? um, when, where hu? Are we talking about the same basse? Hm… sounds fishy.

Someone tell me where this stuff was posted please.

    • She may be with that Anna R chick who was feigning a nervous breakdown. Possibly at a troll retreat somewhere. lol

  74. I’m really impressed with Jeff’s posting about getting involved with ending the death penalty in AZ. I decided to research my own state, Maine. We ended the death penalty in 1867!! Yea!! I”m reading that 32 states still have death penalty. I’ve just decided — whatever the outcome of Jodi’s situation, I want to work towards ending the death penalty is those 32 states. Here’s one link I’ve found:
    http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/states-and-without-death-penalty

    • WOW…just proves I can’t always believe what I read…I once read on a report a few weeks back that there were 4 death penalty states and now I see on that link that there are 32 death penalty states…and damn my state is on that death penalty list…grrr…I am gonna move this summer…LOL…

    • Elaine, we here in North Carolina have a moratorium on the DP. I want it completely abolished! It sickens me and, unfortunately, I am a minority in my thinking on this issue here in my state. I could go into my rant about politics, but I know this isn’t the venue for that!

    • My state, MD just nixed it. That was good.

It has no place in civilized society.

      • The death penalty, I think, was originally created to deter crime. Does not work, so– in my opinion now it is simply for revenge and not is not right. it is just another murder carried on by the state. I know people who have had loved one killed by someone would, at first, think they want that person dead but I think after a while, if you have a loving heart, that feeling would go away. The death penalty should be abolished in all states I believe. I honestly believe this family is making money from the death of travis and i think the mormon church in that area has alot of very corrupt people. I think Juan is a sick sob that needs to be put in prison or a insane assylum for he is evil to the core.

      • Indeed and that makes 2 out of 3 states I’ve lived in that have abolished it. I had no effect on Florida though, apparently 😀 Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad!

Actually, after I left FL, they passed the BS Timely Justice Act to expedite appeals in capital sentences so they could kill people faster. The sponsor of that act said ” “Only God can judge, but we sure can set up the meeting.” He went on to say it’s not about guilt or innocence; it’s about timely justice!!! Isn’t that special? What pisses me off is that although they executed 75 people since reinstating the death penalty, they also exonerated 24 people in FL. Um, hello!!!!

Recently, FL governor recently signed 3 death warrants in the same day! There are 110 inmates on death row. It looks like they’ll be rushed to death very soon. What a lovely state!

Please folks, STOP going to FL on vacation. It’s THE worst state for domestic violence victims. It’s fast becoming THE worst state for executions. Its election system is STILL the most corrupt in the country. It has a rapidly growing very wealthy Mormon population — that you don’t really realize until you live there for a while. And FL is no longer cheap! STOP giving them money. There are other beautiful warm places to go in the winter if you need a vacation.

  75. How would empaneling another jury be fair? That jury would not spend months with Jodi. They would not get a feeling for her but would have those autopsy pics crammed down their throats! Plus no way can they find an impartial jury now!!! Seems very unfair. If they cant agree….then maybe she should not get DP…..DUH! State gets all the perks. Get to keep trying until they find a jury who will kill her!

    • Yeah iv thought about that too. Why the hell does the STATE get THREE chances to give someone the DP?! That should be it, if they can’t decide its for a reason, just like if theres reasonable doubt its a NOT GUILTY!

  76. Capital punishment = Premediated Murder

“Capital punishment is the most premeditated of murders.”
    -Albert Camus, French philosopher

Although many crimes committed by human beings are heinous, sometimes gruesome, unforgettable and lifechanging for victims and survivors, so is capital punishment. A society that uses the death penalty as punishment or vengeance is BARBARIC, INHUMANE and SOULLESS. That society is no better, possibly worse, than the person who commits a crime.

Travis Alexander did not deserve to die. However, NOR DOES Jodi Arias deserve to die at the hand of our society.

  77. Hi all,
I’m such a dork. Saw the “new page” thing but didn’t get it. Duh….

  78. Hang in, Jodi!
I’m confused because I thought we could only send post cards, but I just heard it said that she receives mail of all kinds?

I’m going to send a post card to Estrella because I believe she is there and not in Durango anymore. I have some similar interests to her, and I have some things I want to send to her, but not sure how to get them to her or if to bother because she can’t have them. Just magazine, book, of poetry, letter…what? Anyone know? If so, PLEASE email me at edenst.clare@yahoo.com.

      • that is what she said….they had to give the letters to her attorneys…too many cluttered her cell…they said it was a fire hazard?

      • I cant send her anything 🙁
I hope when she gets transferred to another prison they will have more lax mail policies.

          • I live in Greece. This kind of metered postcards with no stamp on dont exist.I contacted many post offices, even went to the local manager where I live. They’ve never heard of that. So,Im patiently waiting.I’ll figure out a way to write to her,I guess….

            • if you would like, i can send it for you. Message Sj and get my email and ill send you my address to forward on. just get a postcard and then put it in a normal envelope.

OR just e-mail me the message and such i’ll buy one for you and send it on for you.

                • I was also going to offer the same thing, Maria. I’m off work till late June on short-term disability and there’s a post office just a few blocks away. I could also use my address confidentiality address as the return address. That’s ROCK SOLID inpenetrable, just in case there are jerks looking to see who is sending her mail!

                • I was going to offer the same. Gosh Sir Lips! We are all thinking alike….Proves that we are the smarter of the two views on this case. LOL

              • I love you guys SO MUCH!!!!!
If she gets sentenced and the prison has the same strict mail policy I will definitely need everyone’s help, those of course who are willing to help me communicate with Jodi. It’s been 5 months and Im still waiting to have the chance to write even a couple of lines to her. It’s been frustrating.
THANK YOU all for being so kind.

  79. I just don’t know why people are so shocked that people don’t want to put a woman to death.

  80. An Esquire reported cornered Tanisha after Jodi’s allocution and Jen’s closing argument. The reporter asked her how she felt about HLN’s Jean Casarez sniffing and tears during this. Tanisha said, she knew for fact JC was not showing compassion for the Defense. Esquire reporter asked how she knew this for fact, had she talked with Jean. Tanisha said, well.. huh..no….there are other reasons people sniffle, tear up and rub their finger over their teeth.

    • LMAO .. jc gave her own report and wasn’t embarrassed to say she teared up plus it was shown in a cam pan. Buttttt . . guess others besides myself saw the tooth (gum) rubbing. It wasn’t just the rub, she eye scanned to see if anyone looking. So busted but whatever .. she’s buggin about it so it matters, lol

      • No Jean said she had a cold, said she was a professional. Of course she said that, she is on hln. I think he said that to jmv last night. if she openly showed emotions for jodi, hln would fire her I am sure They only allow sympathy for the taliban. they are all jerks, not one of them should be allowed on tv or in a court room.

    • Some people rub their fingers over their teeth to make sure they’re still there.

  81. This actually worries me that they’re not back yet.
    Why?
If the jurors who are pro-DP are as savage, dis-compassionate, and hateful as the rabid pro-DP’s OUTSIDE the Jury room, wouldn’t you think that THEY would be the one’s refusing to even consider a Life term?

I’m NOT trying to be the downer here-it just seems that certain people are damned and determined for the DP-if they won’t listen to ANY reason on the outside, would the jurors be any different?

Then again, if she’s going to be in lock-up for at least a couple of years even with Life-I prefer to keep my HIGH HOPES for SPEEDY APPELLATE PROCESS!!
I assume they’ll file the appeal immediately either way.. I realize that usually, this process is anything BUT “speedy”; with the multitude of issues in this case, (juror misconduct, prosecutorial misconduct, judicial misconduct, the whole circus atmosphere, etc), isn’t it POSSIBLE this case might start sooner?

    • I know I still think it is a good thing though. Someone is sticking to their guns. Maybe even more than one is adamant about not giving DP. Maybe it is just one jerk who WANTS DP.

  82. I find it really sickening that there are jurors that are evil and cruel enough to fight to give Jodi the DP.

Each juror will have to live with their decision forever. If you choose death and 10 or 20 years down the road Jodi is executed and then you find out Jodi was telling the truth about everything, you are a murderer as is Martinez and Stephens.
At least you will be in my eyes.

    • Yes! I never liked these jurors from the day the first questions started pouring! I KNEW back then they werent on our side and I had voiced my concerns. Then bam!The verdict came only to verify what we’ve been suspecting for so long. And now this! Apparently there are some of them with some sense of compassion left in them, making it harder for the other more heartless ones(notice the comparative degree! I still believe they are all cruel, stupid,HLN motherfucking brainwashed, lying watchers)

    • Joe, it makes me sick too. I was in a tweet convo with some reports and some call tweets in and what is their problem all they have to do is write down DP. What a cold hearted person.

  83. OMG! You guys are chatty! lol

I was on the other thread yet again… 😳

Anyway… I haven’t read any of this thread yet, but I agree with everything you all have said thus far. 🙂

      • ((((maria)))) I saw our Jodi smiling on TV earlier today. She looks more at peace. I’m still nervous about this jury though.

        I wish I didn’t have to work, I’d be here 24/7!!

    • Nothing like a little blind trust.

And all the while sirlips has been beating up on you. I tell you, just go look.

      • lmao!! And here I was putting some money together to send to his killthemotherfuckerwhokilledsparkyorwhateverhisnamewas.com site!

  84. It is so nice to have a place to vent about this case. Most people hate Jodi and think she is evil. Anytime I say I think she has been unfairly treated they attack me. The only person who listens to what I say without prejudice is my husband. He doesn’t really follow it.

    • People look at me like I’m completely stupid when I say how I feel. Then I’m like well where did you get your info and they say the news and I’m like I watched as much of the trial as I could. Then they are like oh. Then I’m like do you want to hear what happened and people are more interested.

      • Danielle, I believe that is the problem with the majority of the Haters. They only know what they’ve heard and seen on the news from the ratings whores or from other haters.
They have no idea what is really going on in the trial. They have a very tainted opinion not based on actual facts.

        • It’s a learning experience for me about how I watch the news. I don’t usually have strong feelings or argue about things I don’t know about anyway so I wouldn’t blindly jump on a media bandwagon. I’ve always known the news is sensationalism. But this is a whole new ball game.

          • After almost 7 years all together since I began fact-checking the media, (both mainstream/radio/Internet/and alternative), I can tell you something I’m sure you already know.
Non-corporate alternative media, (NOT “conspiracy sites-they’re too easy 😉 ) is the best-the problem is, finding TRUE “non-corporate media” that’s not at all slanted. While Democracy Now probably would get the best “TRUTH” score-obviously, their coverage, while not “slanted” in the actual subject matter-covers mainly liberal subject matter.
The worst? (AND most dangerous because of his skill in convincing people not to trust ANYONE but him,..and “do your homework”, (but remember, don’t trust anyone but him and his sources when you DO your “homework”.).,), is in my rant on the previous page.
The corporate media though has the monopoly, and I’ve learned by getting to know some of the folks in this media, they’re ONLY going to tell you what THEY want you to hear.
There are a few “rogues”, who have gotten away with stories that got them in hot water after the fact-but those types of stories usually end up on the cutting room floor.
A Liberal who I’ve been acquainted with for awhile and that my conservative brother and Uncle watch? Rachel. She’s almost always in hot water for sneaking things in that shouldn’t have been, and people respect her for that. She’s also pretty quick to correct herself on misinformation.
Oh, what am I? My kids call me a “Libertarian Socialist”-a little misleading, but I do support maintaining SS, Medicare, Medicaid. I’m mainly anti-corporatocracy-which I think we’ve already strayed much too far in to. Our Prez, Senators, Reps, Governors want to take millions/billions in corporate “donations”? Wear a damn patch so we can see who you owe “favors” to…
Enough on that. If anyone wants to know anymore, I’ll give you my “public” email.

But it IS ALL RELATED. The talking heads on HLN, if you haven’t figured it out yet, will do ANYTHING FOR RATINGS & to APPEASE their corporate Masters. Period. Justice and Truth Be Damned. Just like 98% of everyone else on TV.

            • I’m so tired of being called a socialist because I believe in same-sex marriage (equal rights for everyone), I believe abortion should ALWAYS be legal (the alternative is much more frightening and won’t prevent abortion), and I don’t believe in the death penalty (which is barbaric). Or worse … my ex-father-in-law used to say I would soon approve of man marrying beasts. He called me his “commie daughter-in-law”. I’m sure he’s glad to be rid of me.

              • I get called that vile name also because I feel that Two people who are over the age of 18 and want to get married should have that right what is it our business what they do in the bedroom or WHAT sex they are.
I also do NOT feel most people HATE Jodi. The trolls that come on here say such bullshit rants to make themselves look educated. I think that one of the frequent posters had a comment almost IDENTICAL to that RANT several months ago.

      • Most of my friends would have no idea about this case if it wasn’t for me and my constant talking about it. They know the basics but don’t hate her.

      • That’s the HLN wanting to JUT REPEAT over and over to people that she is the most hated.

        It’s just bullshit.

        I think Nancy Grace is.

  85. Makes you wonder if there wasn’t some jurors that compromised their belief and gave into M1 are now saying hey we compromised now you need to agree with us and give life not death. Just a thought!

I have been bomb barding HLN staff with emails calling them out on what they are saying and doing. Please everyone call them out they need to be stopped. We have got to do some thing.

    • I dont even wanna think that some of them had to ”compromise” during the first phase.I mean, compromise? They were supposed to listen to the evidence and use their effing heads and simply realize the evidence was NOT there.
I ‘d have more respect if they were to come and say ”yes,I heard all the evidence and this was premeditated” (because really you cant help but feel sorry for a stupid 2 cell person, stupidity is not treatable unfortunately)than knowing they didnt have the guts to stand up for what they believed and let themselves get talked into giving this innocent woman a verdict she didnt deserve.

      • Maria, I wonder if bullying goes on within a jury’s deliberation in a lot of cases? I can see that happening. It happens all over the globe in all sorts of situations. What would make that situation immune from it? Horrible thought, but looking at things realistically….

        • It does happen — to some degree — or so I’ve heard from people who served on juries. But many will go to the bailiff if it’s excessive.

    • Tim, the more attention you give them for their wrongdoings, the more they are probably laughing in their beer. You would have to go pretty high up at HLN to get your emails read by someone who actually has the power to alter their (HLN’s) chosen course out of conscience.

The talking on-air heads are pretty invested in their positions. After all, they are observed by millions to be doing whatever it is they are doing night after night. Their bosses know that for them to backtrack would leave a lot of egg on their collective faces.

I heard one broadcast a few weeks ago where Dr. Drew referred to Travis as “our buddy”…..I think it was the same show where Beth K. said of Jodi at the end of one of her supposedly objective reports, “Oh I hate her”. Then another guy (a regular but not sure if it was Vinny) said something about Travis and used the word “love”. I strongly suspect that this affectionate/hateful talk was “scripted” verbiage and that these commentators/show hosts were asked by producers to use words like that. If you complain to the show itself, the emails will be sent to the people who produce the shows and come up with such strategies.

One way to protest is to pay close attention to what they are actually saying and write it down along with the date and the time it occurred on the show. Note when they are suppressing certain facts – not mentioning them at all – while exaggerating the importance of other facts in the case. Note hate speech. Note when they speak beyond the scope of their own personal credentials and professional licenses.

Send your complaint to the Federal Communications Commission. Just state the facts – they need to have a concrete way to go about evaluating all of the complaints without having to sift through a lot of opinions. They license and RENEW broadcasters’ licenses.

There are compliance criteria that stations have to meet. By the same token, professionals have to be held to some kind of standard with the licenses they hold in their given field. If HLN gives a forum to individuals to abuse their own licenses, then they should be questioned about their own license to broadcast. IMO.

    • I have been too Tim, the other day I wrote an e-mail to Vinnie P and told him to pass it on to the rest of his buddies that would turn on him and eat him for lunch if god forbid he ever found himself in a life or death situation. Drew, Ryan, Nancy, Mike Etc…. they all talk a big game but I told him that they are all a load of losers with no souls and they should be ashamned of themselves, and that those of us that truly believe in Jodi hope HLN goes bankrupt and they are all out of work and out on the street where they belong.

  86. Okay, so here it goes:

    1. No, you don’t know me and this is my first post.

    2. No, I have no proof that I am not a troll (although my feet do bear a similar resemblance to a troll’s)

If you are skeptical of me and my post, well that’s fine, as this forum clearly shows we are entitled to our opinions. If you must know, I have had contact with SJ via e-mail. So why am I here? I’m here for the same reason I’ve been here all along, because I support JODI. I am a survivor. Like many abused, I have opted for silence and chosen to lurk in the shadows, which is what happens to most victims of abuse. Here I am, six years out, and still I’m silent and shadowy. I’m sick and tired of hearing that Jodi’s abuse is fictional since there is no proof. I’m here to tell you that just because there is no tangible proof, it does not mean the abuse is non-existent. Many victims of relationship abuse opt for silence. Silence because of the shame you feel that you have allowed yourself to be treated that way, shame you do not want to bring upon the person who you love that is perpetrating your abuse, shame on your children that you may share, shame on your respective families, shame on your church, shame on your community. If anything can be gleaned, it’s that abuse does not only affect the abused and abuser, it affects so many more. It sickens me to know first-hand, that abusers use religion to subdue their victims and control their thinking. That is sacred ground upon which you should always feel safe. Also, abused lose their self-worth and value and feel that they are no more than a burden to be dealt with as that is what the abuser provokes the abused to believe so that they can maintain control and power. However, more often than not, abuse victims are so broken that they are unable to deal with further ridicule or the possibility that someone may call them a liar, or worse yet, inform the abuser that you have exposed them for who they really are and now will have to suffer their wrath when you get home that evening. My abuser held an esteemed position in both our community and church. It was unlikely that anyone would believe me over him and his esteemed reputation that came backed by an equally forceful family.

For someone to say Jodi’s life is worthless, I protest much. This website serves as a true testament to the many women that she has inspired that otherwise felt alone, shamed. It is when you feel alone and isolated that the abuse cycle continues. After all, if you dont’ ahve bruises or broken bones, who will believe you? Look at how many victims she has given a voice to. If it inspires only one victim to stop the cycle, Jodi’s worth is immeasurable. Unfortunately the criticism and hate that is bred by merely supporting Jodi also shows you why many victims chose silence and shadow lurking. This will remain the tragedy long after everyone has long forgotten about Ms. Jodi Arias.

My abuser also used church and religion as a catalyst to demean and dehumanize me and continue his control and dominion over me. When I went to my pastor he asked, “Does he hit you?” I replied, “No, but I wish he did so that I would have something to show you for all my pain.” When I finally left, my pastor said, “I thought you said he didn’t hit you?” I told him, “If that’s all you heard, then you weren’t listening.” I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m only posting because, inspired by Jodi, and all here, silence is no longer an option. Not for me, not for you, not for any victim of abuse.

The abuse that Jodi suffered and the anguish she experienced is real and continues every day in households the world-over. Jodi deserves to live and inspire and I will be here to support her, even if only in the shadows.

  87. I hope the jury does not want to go home tonight and discuss it with their families before making that decision tomorrow…grrr…

    • Well I did forget they have their electronic devices they could be texting them and come up with a decision tonight before suppertime…grrr…

    • They have all along… and watched HLN too… that’s why we are where we are.

  88. In my last relationship I came to realize that he and I didn’t view the world in the same way. You see, he is a ‘game player’ while I am a ‘dancer’. And I mean that both in the literal sense (he is an obsessive bridge player whereas my passion is partnership/ballroom dancing) but I also mean it figuratively; in my relationships, I try to move in unison with the other person as best I can, try not to trip them or step on their toes. He, on the other hand, views other people as either opponents to be conquered or game pieces to be manipulated. I believe there are these two opposing personality-types in this world. Jodi I believe is a “dancer” while Travis was a “game player”. And I found that with this combination, the game player generally wins because they can “play” like they’re actually dancing with you.

  89. Oh my God! I have a hard time controlling myself listening to Jane. HLN has to be stopped. And what’s up with the mousey judge allowing the Pedo’s family to display their emotion. What a crock of s____!

    • Tim,
She’s allowed it from Day ONE in this trial.
      Lousy judge!
I’ve NEVER seem it allowed in court.
Most judges say if you think you’re going to cry then go outside.
SHE cries, rolls her eyes, at everything said.

      • Right and when laughter broke out in the courtroom as Alyce asked Martinez if he was mad at her, the judge quickly shut everyone up.

  90. Hello Sil how are you we are good praying our Hail Mary and Our Fathers on a Rosary that is over 100 yrs old and has a lot of history according to my Grandmother

    • ((((Hail Mary))))

I’m constantly praying for our Jodi! I don’t go to church, but I’m always talking to God. It gives me great comfort and strength. =)

  91. I once told others here that this trial would go on for a long time and the Tarot cards told me how long but don’t remember with card that was but it seems to have been right all along

    • I have some Tarot Cards!! Well, not the “usual” ones, it’s the Zen Buddhist Tarot. I had a Ram Shalaka “board” & cards, but my Son wants to learn it so I sent it to him. (same general principal as Tarot). I use mine to give me insight on a topic each day after my practice.
I know this will sound silly, but understand, it’s mainly just me and my Sita here, (my puddy-tat 😉 ). She likes to sit on my cards while I’m meditating, and won’t get off them until I let HER “pick” a card. Lol, actually, it’s more like her spreading the cards across the floor, plopping down, and inevitably, one “moves out” from under her.
Yes, My Sita is a strange kitty who hadn’t realized she was a kitty until we moved out to this farm last year and she saw her first kitty since she was dumped outside my door 5 years ago, when she was no more than 3wks old. She was NOT happy to find out there were other “babies” that looked like her…
Her Card today? “Travelling”. Mine? “serving”. I “served” her during her “travels” out to the frog pond early this morning..and then had to “serve” us both after she got soaking wet-not in the pond, but a stinky puddle nearby…

  92. If this goes overnight can you imagine how thick HLN will lay it on tonight? Even last night they kept talking about how the jurors were probably watching them (on VP’s late night show.) They actually said that more than once!

    • I hope no one stoops to bribing a juror if this goes overnight…it’s been heard of in some areas…grrr…

  93. Could a juror come forth and say they were wrong…..they want to change their verdict?

      • Actually seems like their chance to correct it was over when the clerk polled the jury. Plenty of case law about that. The only way it can change is if they can show that there was some sort of jury misconduct that caused them to cast their vote the way they did. Else SOL.

        • Sorry, wasn’t here when you asked Al (or hadn’t gotten to this post yet). As far as I know, you’re right. Do you remember anything about the Apple v. Samsung case where a juror with knowledge of patent law swayed the jury? I know that was appealed based on juror misconduct, but I didn’t follow up to see if it was decided yet.

There was a decision handed down in DC last week that I just read about today actually where a juror handed a letter to the judge, post verdict, alleging racial discrimination among the jurors. The judge refused to investigate. It was appealed and the opinion is interesting and perhaps pertinent here, to say the least. Even when a jury misunderstood a jury instruction and convicted where self-defense was plead, the appellate court affirmed anyway. The opinion cites many interesting cases where jurors were drunk or high during deliberations. But, essentially, the decision was that unless there was clear racial or ethnic bias or extraneous influences that clearly impugned the verdict, jury deliberations are untouchable post-verdict.

Here’s the opinion, Al, you will find it interesting:

          http://www.dcappeals.gov/internet/documents/09-CF-1586.pdf

  94. I am trying to brace myself for anything but If they come back with DP I’m afraid I will come unglued. I prefer not to know what a shithole this world has become. I am clinging to a teeny tiny thread of hope that there is humanity left in the world somewhere besides at this site. If if breaks & I turn into a bitter old lady who plods around in her housecoat all day despising kids, unicorns and rainbows then I will blame you haters. Taking a cue from the A. family everything bad that’s ever happened to me will be laid in your lap. My cat that died when I was in 1st grade, the fact that I never knew my alcoholic father, and also that I could have stopped smoking if not for you. You get the gist. So fuck y’all.

  95. Haha,
Did you hear HLN say that they ALSO tried to get an interview
    with Jodi last night.
Oh, my they think it’s terrible that she gave interviews ONLY because
she chose not to give HLN one.

Love it and IMO Jodi didn’t do anything to hurt her.
    You Go Jodi!!

  96. Jodi did wrong and she feels the pain everyday for her actions. This process needs to end and she should not be given the DP,… it’s wrong in this case. Man..!!!! what is this jury thinking………..

    • They sound like a bunch of “sheep” to me. Don’t think there’s much upstairs in most of them by the sounds of it. I can just feel the hold-outs weakening as we speak. I hope I’m wrong!!!

    • I disagree with you Gary. JODI did not do wrong —-she was and has been wronged! Fighting and killing someone to save her life is NOT wrong!!!!! Would you feel that you were wrong if you had to–in defending yourself from an attack—had to kill your attacker?? I don’t think you would. So in no way should you say that JODI did wrong—unless you can say that you would or could allow yourself to be attacked and in no way try to defend yourself from harm.

Sherrifs deputies just went in to juror hallway. #JodiArias

  98. Jodi, you rock girl. You r driving HLN nuts by not giving air time. Boy, Jodi is sharp as a tack.

  99. I hate that HLN say that Jodi is famous because of Travis death…Well, the way I view it HLN is getting ratings the way they have Jodi’s trails hours upon hours of Jodi’s…..They are making money off Travis death. So they are so double standard. I never really watch HLN until Jodi’s trail.

  100. Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 8m

Sherrifs deputies just went in to juror hallway. #JodiArias

    • Why would they go to the jurors hallway, unless its to escort jurors out of the building. Pretty close to 7:30 anyway.

  101. Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 22s

Jurors are gone for the day. #JodiArias

    • pfft. . so what now? the henchmen get more time to be out in full force to sway the jurors? I wouldn’t be alone for a second.

  102. Michael Kiefer ‏@michaelbkiefer 2m
The Arias jurors have gone home for the day. They will return at 10 am Thursday.

Good they can watch some more tv with Jodi’s interviews and see how sane she really is.

  103. aren’t Travis’ family Mormon? In Mormonism, forgiveness is an essential part of enjoying happiness in this life and salvation in the life to come. A study of the scriptures reveals two aspects of forgiveness: seeking forgiveness from the Lord through repentance and prayer, and forgiving all those who hurt or offend us. Jesus directs all men to ask Heavenly Father to “forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12).

seems to me they are putting on a show in court with the crying (no tears, tho). when they should be asking for life and forgiving her………….. your thoughts?

    • Jodi said in one of her interviews last night that in the mormon faith it is a “requirement to forgive” in order to be forgiven…

      • Travis’ grandmother, siblings, friends, roommates, and Jodi, were all mormons…and he lived in a mormon community…and they all went to the same mormon church…

        • Travis, his friends and his roommates all went to the same mormon church…

          • yes, they’ll forgive, but only after they’ve squeezed every last nickel out of the Cash cow. Then they’ll be on the forgiveness world tour.

    • sh, that is a good ? I’m not sure if they are or not. It would also be interesting to find out if some of the so call friends are too.

    • Bye Joe!!
I think I’ll go straight to bed myself.

      See you all tomorrow
      (((((((((((((((HUGS FAMILY)))))))))))))

((((((((We DO love you angel Jodi)))))))))))))))

  104. I was at the gym and I heard someone on HLN carrying on that if some of the jurors don’t want to give the death penalty, they should be removed because they falsified themselves by even getting on this jury since it’s a DP case. What is this I don’t even…

    • That is ridiculous. The jurors only have to be open to considering the DP. They aren’t bound to delivering it.

      • Exactly, Kira! I’ve seen several posts from these imbeciles saying they should have never marked on the paper that they were willing to give the DP if they weren’t going to follow through with it. It doesn’t work that way. They also had to mark that they would be willing to give life as well.

    • I see…according to HLN if you qualify for a death penalty case you are thereafter required to automatically give the death penalty, no matter what.

      • Why don’t we just skip the trials all together and for anyone initially lies about their involvement just send them straight to death row?

        • It seems like the general attitude is that anyone who is on trial must have done it, so why not? :/

          • I think we need to train gladiators and just throw defendants into arenas with them. If they manage to survive the gladiator, Nasty DisGrace can give a thumbs up or thumbs down as to whether or not they should live or face another gladiator. Screw due process. That’s a thing of the past. Right?

  105. Shoot, I work tmrw and can’t be in tune with my sane ppl here whom I am proud to be apart of. My work consists of people, mostly women who are not objective and when I stand up against senseless talks about DP, I get quite a bit of opinions. Well, I will stay positive and keep praying. As a former Catholic, I still remember my Hail Mary!

  106. That’s so HLN, making remarks that clearly violates Jodi’s rights for a fair trial.

  107. It appalls me that even one person on that jury is fighting to kill her. Based on what?? I couldn’t believe it when they came in with the verdict that not one of them had one ounce of reasonable doubt that she was the initiator of that violence. And now at least one of them is so damn sure she’s such a vicious killer, up there with the worst of the worst, that they are bound and determined to see her dead. Absolutely appalling!!

    • I know could be 1 holding out for death and it could be 11. I’m sad even one would want to be a premeditated murderer.

    • I would need to have a new website to show the horrible crimes by others that got life or less.

      • If ya want be honest…Manson NEVER killed anyone….other people did it. He’s the only person ever to be in prison for life that actually didn’t kill anyone. Cant speak for Dahmer but it was an interesting point. I do not believe a minute that Jodi is a killer. She did what she had to do to survive. The thing that pisses the media off is her ability to stand up and stand her ground.

      • No, Ed, you got it wrong. She’s actually worse than them, the Son of Sam, Ted Bundy, the Sandy Hook killer, the Colorado cinema killer, the Columbine killers, Casey Anthony, Scott Peterson, Drew Peterson, Jack the Ripper, Ariel Castro, and every other killer in history, all put together. At least, if you read the hater sites, that’s the assumption you HAVE to come away with.

    • Those jurors are the worse scumbags yet in my book. They had all the time they could choose to deliberate about the so-called evidence of premed, they knew very well they should not discuss, read or watch shows about the case, they knew what a reasonable doubt was, they heard and read the same abusive messages as pointed out so many times, they knew one does not put people to death or imprison them for life for lying,… and yet came back with an M1 verdict, and now as you say some of them are not budging in their plan to kill her. Despicable is right. They were premeditating to murder her all that time.

  108. Looks like the jury needs another “Nooky night” weekend with HLN before they can reach a decision.
    DAMN.

  109. I was just watching the video of Picklebutt instructing the jury to continue deliberating.
CASH (the Hughes’) looked worried. Especially Chris. He was biting his nails and looked very concerned. Both of them were staring off into space. I think they want Jodi dead so she cannot connect any dots that lead to them. There is something very wrong with the way CASH is carrying on and want Jodi GONE so badly.

    Something just occurred to me.

Jodi has NO recollection of what happened after she shot him. She is really only assuming she did the rest of the damage. Meanwhile you have a home, with an open door policy. Travis sits there for 5 days. We know there was a key inside the house to open his bedroom door. Anyone could have come into that home during those 5 days. We really have no way of knowing that Travis was dead when Jodi left his house. Any number of things could have occurred after. Travis missed his call with Gus. Chris was aware of that fact. It is not too far fetched that he came over there sometime after Jodi left to find out why he missed that call. I know this has been discussed over and over but the more I think about it the more I believe that she did not stab or slice his throat open. She could not have moved him without being covered in blood. There is no blood anywhere in the house except for a tiny speck on the washer. There was no blood in the front seat of the car, just stains in the back. If there was blood in that car i’m sure they could find it, even after the fact with luminol. I am sure the car was cleaned when returned but traces of blood would still be there. There is NO evidence that Jodi erased those pictures. There is NO evidence that at all that it was Jodi that put the items in the washer.
Jodi is unable to recollect anything about stabbing him and only assumes she did.
I firmly believe she did not.

    • I agree SO much with you Trixels,
They all went to Cancun and “discussed” it there. They knew he was dead that night.
Do they had a pot. Everyone, it was Jdi and they NEVER proved it wasn’t someone else.

Many times during the trial Jodi said “that’s what heard!.”

    • You know what, this case is so crazy, I actually think this could be possible. Just the fact that Jodi could now be in this position, based on the lack of evidence and every other crazy thing that has gone on.

There is something incredibly rotten here, far more than meets the eye. I keep saying, truth is stranger than fiction.

    • I fully agree with you. Also when JODI returned the car to the rental agency wouldn’t there have been noticeable areas where blood would have been? And wouldn’t the Hoover Dam chequepoint have noticed any blood, etc., on JODI or in the car? I still think it was the Hughes and the roommates behind the murder and JODI is being framed! Knock her out and when she comes to she thinks she committed the killing —real killers go free!

      • And with the amount of blood at the scene, there definitely should have been blood all over her—in her hair, under her fingernails. And she cleans herself up with a little bit of bottled water? And Ryan Burns should have noticed blood in her hair? You can’t really wash your hair with a little bit of water.

        • Oh rb, surely you know that Jodi jumped into that shower right on top of Travis’s corpse and took a shower and washed her hair, right? Have you not read a few hater sites to garner this information? I believe she also had sex with him about a half dozen times before she left too. And don’t forget, she accomplished all of this (as well as killing him, cleaning up, putting up the dog gate, cleaning the banister, doing two loads of laundry) in about 30 minutes.

          • AA
I had to LOL at your comment, she jumped right into the shower on top of him. People are so cuckoo !!! They really think she did that huh! Thanks for adding the things I missed.

      • I don’t believe Chris Hughes had any direct involvement with the killing. It was a pure case of domestic violence/manslaughter, period. What Chris and company did and continue to do is cover up for Travis because of concerns regarding saving face for their business interests and for their standing in the Mormon Church.

I really don’t think it is any more complicated than that. Chris and Sky are the scum of the earth and would throw Jodi Arias under the bus in order to save their own reputations for having known Travis Alexander and hired him.

    • Also she had very limited time to get out of that house before the roommate came home. She had no idea when he would be home. So she kills him lets go through what would have to happen next.

She drags him into the shower,
She cleans him off with water/cup.
She grabs the gun knife and rope.
She stands there deleting photos from the camera, each photo is a 3 step process.
She takes clothing and the camera down to laundry room.
She turns on the washer and puts the items in.
She leaves. (did I miss anything? if so let me know)

Meanwhile Enrique, I believe, came home at 6pm.
Travis was dead at give or take a few minutes, 5:40pm

Its hard to believe all of this was done in 20 mins or less.
Meanwhile he sits there for 5 whole days that leaves plenty of time for someone else to come upon his body dead or alive and move things around. There are just too many unanswered questions and possibilities.

        • Travis knew, he must have told her when he expected the roommates at home. Because Travis was the one who was HIDING Jodi from the roommates that day. They saw him and spoke with him, but NO Jodi. He was hiding her in his room when the roommates were home. So WHY would someone HIDE and nor mention his so-called ‘stalker’? Wouldn’t it make more sense to mention to your roommate that your STALKER, whom you are ‘VERY AFRAID’ of, is here? Because nobody was stalking, that’s why. He was hiding her to keep them from telling Mimi and the rest of them that he invited his sex toy and punching bag. Perhaps he planned to kill her even, since she was slipping away from his control.

          • I don’t think he hid her from the roommates. If the truth be known, they knew she was there.

I always was of the belief the reason fingers were pointed at Jodi was because she was seen there the day Travis was killed.

You cannot believe one word Travis’s friends and associates say. Not a single, solitary word.

      • Yep, you missed the fact that she waited for the bedding to be washed and put it into the dryer. Then, she gathered up a bunch of other laundry and put it into the washer.

She also located Napoleon and put him downstairs and put up the dog gate so he couldn’t get upstairs.

She cleaned the banister, pulled out a floor cleaning machine, and moved furniture downstairs.

And she made sure she didn’t leave any of her stuff there and packed it into the car.

Oh, and she either put the license plate back on her car then, or along the way.

        Fucking superwoman Jodi!

    • Your so right, Trixels! I just dont see it either. I don’t know how this jury made up this conviction. It had to be media pressure!

    • Yes I agree…The HUGHES don’t want Jodi to do a tell all about them. One thing that was obvious is the fact they accused her of “eavesdropping” when she at their house INVITED with her man. That’s not stalking…that’s walking up and hearing what some skank bitch is saying about you. I bet Jodi’s got lots of stories about their whole clan and Ponzi scheme.

      • I don’t think that “incident” ever happened.

It was far more likely they talked to Jodi about Travis than the other way around.

        The Hugheses are liars.

    • I totally NOTICED Chris looking like he was shitting bricks
& Sky just looking Mind Boggled & Freaked out
      & sensed something totally INSIDIOUS!
I always felt there was more to the story
then meets the eye or shall i say “LIE”

Chris & Sky will get theirs……
      They should be shitting bricks
Guilty and Shady is written all over
      their foreheads…….
      Just sayin

      • Towards the end of that video CH was glaring in Jodi’s direction. Looks like he ran back to the courtroom because his fat pasty ass was out of breathe when he got there. Has anyone ever seen the movie Arlington Road??

Skye SO reminds me of Joan Cusak’s role in that movie. Creepy as all hell!

    • Then there’s the mysterious shoe or boot print in blood. Was it ever matched to a certain type of shoe?

      • Oh no, why bother doing an investigation of THAT? If might have actually RUINED their prosecution against Jodi.

  110. So the judge can force jurors to keep browbeating the holdout/s until they get beaten down and give in?wtf! How can that be?

    • Let’s pray that that juror or those jurors not going for death are resolute and can’t be intimidated. I’ve been on one 1st degree murder trial and two medical malpractice cases. In all three, it was impossible to change a juror’s mind. Lets PRAY Arizona doesn’t have a law that allows Juan Martinized to interview the dissenting jurors and threaten them with exposing anything in their histories to the media… or other threats…

    • They know they can profit from this. Hardly any women on death row. She is a money maker for them and those lowlifes won’t budge off of DP.

Hopefully at least one of those idiots has a heart.

    • No, she can’t. They wrote their deadlock on a jury question form. That meant the judge had to assume they were looking for assistance.

If they write it on a verdict form, there’s nothing more she can do.

  111. I hate to watch the procedings about Jodi on HLN,but thats the only channel I get it on.They are so biased and say the dumbest shit, all their stupid actions and they laugh about Jodi, how shamefull are they.Well I would just like to say that one of their anchors that is waiting outside the courthouse like a buzzard ready to jump on a gut wagon metioned that if the jury was hung they would bring in another jury and would basically have another trial to present the evidence to the new jury, she also stated that they would have to be carefull in picking the jury as they wouldnt want the new jury that seen any media coverageand that would taint the trial,FAT CHANCE ON THAT,HLN HAS GLORIFIED THE TRIAL and I willing to bet that they could not find a jurror that wasnt tainted in America, maybe in upper Mongolia they could find some,Jodis trial has not been fair and nor would a new retrial be,I wouldnt be suprised if the appeals process is unfair too,The State of Arizona with their crooked police, judges and prosecutors were gunning for Jodi,I read somewhere that a person should stay away from the state of Arizona and I am really seeing that,I was going to purchase a retirement home there, but not on your life now.It is shamefull how Jodi was treated by the law,the state and the public in this case, people dont treat animals like that.My prayers are with Jodi, god bless and may justice prevail for you Jodi.

  112. Chris Hughes looks suspicious. For a claimed “best friend” of Travis, where was Chris Hughes for 5 days when TA was missing in action? Don’t you check on your best friend? Don’t you go to the memorial service? What kind of best friend was he to Travis except capitalizing on his popularity for profits? TA made a lot of them rich by bringing lots of clients in this pyramid scheme. I used to attend these meetings and admired the money the top were making. Soon after, I quit. Money is not the most important thing in life, people are.

    • And how did Chris REALLY get into Travis’ emails?

And why did Sky have Travis’ journals?

      • CH said he got the password from TA bishop so was able to access it from his (CH) computer. Don’t know about the journals.

        • AH, so that makes THREE different stories he’s told about how he got that password. One HLN show he told he got on the phone to Gmail to get the password. (bogus, Google isn’t giving that out without a court order). A radio show he told that he and TA have the same “web administrator” -huh?- and got TA’s logon password for his account, then tried the password on the Gmail and it worked.

Personally, I think he has Travis’ REAL computer – which, just like mine, already knew all of Travis’ passwords.

Because, for some reason, Chris also had access to Travis and Jodi’s google chats.

          • He said TA’s bishop in an interview. I wonder how he keeps all his lies straight? He’ll mess up more I’m sure.

          • Unbelievable, didn’t realize there 3 sources that CH went to. I’m sure the convenient explanation would be, oh, well when Gmail wouldn’t give me the passwords, I went to the Bishop who happens to also be Travis’s and my webmaster.

          • Really? On one blog talk radio interview, he said he contacted Travis’s webmaster while in Cancun and got the password the MINUTE he got back. Hmmm Can’t keep his stories straight, can he?

      • According to his interview on True Crime Radio, Chris Hughes said he contacted TA’s webmaster as soon as he returned from Cancun and asked for the password to TA’s blog. And I bet that password wasn’t a real stretch – probably Tdogg. He used that password on TA’s Gmail account and it let him in. This does not seem normal or even legal to interfere with a police investigation. A dead friend is still entitled to his privacy. His reason was he knew that Jodi did it and he wanted to find the evidence. Did he think the cops would be so incompetent that they wouldn’t have in a New York minute gotten a warrant to preserve all of TA’s emails, etc. Besides CH said he knew that Gmail doesn’t delete any emails, so it wasn’t because he feared that someone, specifically Jodi in his eyes, would delete incriminating emails. Then in a hearing a couple years later, Sky was ordered by the court to turn over TA’s journal(s). I’m sure the handy explanation for that is she got them from the woman who was editing TA’s book. I am not saying that CH or SH had anything to do with Travis’s death, but they might have felt that there was something embarrassing for them amongst his writings and communications.

    • I agree with you. “There is something just not right about this boy”…..and don’t get me started regarding Sky.

  113. So, here’s what I think happened today.

After the judge sent them back to ‘deliberate’ some more, they went back to their room, sat down and looked at each other and said “I’m not changing my mind, are you?” And they all agreed that they weren’t going to change their minds and their instructions said that they were bound to vote their own consciences so, what the hell. What’s one more day of sitting here doing nothing. We’ll just twiddle our thumbs the rest of the day, then go back in the morning and tell her to stick it.

    • I think this is right. But the thought of a second jury coming in to decide is making me feel ill.

  114. Idiotic people! Now the reporters are saying that Jodie has dead eyes! She has a medical problem with her eyes. I don’t know if there is a name for it, but it’s similar to being cross eyed. When sheS wearing her glasses it corrects it. Jodie has beautiful warm eyes that showed a lot of happiness before all this happened to her!

    • Yes, her right eye turns in ever so slightly…. almost but not quite imperceptibly. I have a cousin with the same condition. It can be disconcerting, even when you know its there – kind of like talking to a blind person, even – because they never seem to look you in the eye.

      • I read someplace she has “lazy eye.” A lot of people have it.

Jodi does NOT have “dead eyes.”

        • I had that condition as a baby and had two surgeries for it. To this day, one of my eyes still drifts inward a bit if I’m tired. It’s very common – my little great-nephew has it too.

    • I swear they will not stop tearing her down. I mean she mine as well have been a serial killer, i do not think manson or bundy got crucified like she is. I can barely stomach it any more Im telling I am just grow more disgusted with civilization by the day and think mother earth is disgusted too, seems like a lot more natural disasters lately and I just wonder how life on earth may end, so much hate in the world.

  115. If so many had bad vibes when they met Jodi, how do they explain their hero TA not getting those same vibes. It’s because they are saying this AFTER THE FACT. I don’t believe for one minute that any of them got bad vibes from Jodi. They are full of bullshit!

Also, Jodi you ROCK for snubbing your nose at HLN. How could they be anything but surprised that she would not consent to an interview with the station that has singlehandedly trashed her at every turn. Not to mention made a fortune off her.

Hang in there Jodi, we love you!

    • People like the Hugheses loved Jodi before all of this went down. They certainly didn’t get any bad “vibes” from her but warned HER against TRAVIS.

      • Yeah…seeing the sister clan makes me think INCEST…people know if their brother is a bully or abusive..give me a break. It’s almost as if they’re in love w/ him. Weird…I know relatives that can be abusive and have no problem saying so…they’re just nuts or tyring to make a buck.

  116. Jodi, I totally agree…Ryan Owens IS indeed a Hater!

I wish could dick-smack his fucking douchey mouth. Except I don’t have a dick. :/

sorry, I just watched that part of the interview.

    • He’s been reporting like HLN about her these past four months on abc. He belongs on that network.

      • He sure does, JC!

He’s one of those of those men that truly disgust me. His interview reminded me of the snarky juror questions to Jodi. I wish she had at that moment cut the interview short and walked out on his Travis-red-pecker-looking face!!

        • Ryan Owens is a major asshole. I didn’t think that he could be worse than Troy Hayden. I was wrong.

          • He was really degrading to women, in general, by saying, “You went from a bombshell to this, mousey brown hair, and glasses, looking like a church lady or librarian.”

    • I say “Bravo Jodie!” There’s no reason for her to put up with rudeness from anyone! They should feel privileged being able to interview her.

      • OMG these reporters are OUT OF HAND!!!! they say she “talked about her hair dye” and “was smug” and all she cared about was her makeup etc….1) i watched the interviews and she was ONLY SMUG when they were douches and I think she handled herself AWESOME 2) she answered their fucking questions….they ASKED HER ABOUT HER FUCKING HAIR DYE grrrrrrrrrrrrrr 3) hmmmmm if I was about to get locked up for life and these were the last interviews ppl were gona remember me by i wld DEF worry about what I look liked lol its a girl thing….I def would not go one NATIONAL TV looking like a hot mess….I wld want ppl to see me STRONG and put together….COME ON!!!! THESE MOTHER FUCKERSSSSSS….I CANT STAND IT!!!! GOD….i pray everyday that something happens….that the TRUTH somehow comes out and they all have to swallow their fucking pride and SAY SORRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to her…like they keep asking HER TO DO….I mean how many fucking times do they want her to say SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY…..sorry I had to vent LOLLLLLLL

    • What a totally a-hole he is. Jodi called him out though….called him a hater!!!!!!

  117. It’s a medical condition called Strabismus—-one of the dancers—Kym Johnson— on DWTSs (my sister watches it) has the same condition. It can be corrected with surgery, exercises, glasses, etc. (PS I watch it sometimes because that Aussie is saucy and sexy 🙂 !!!)

    • I just got fed up with everyone saying she had dead eyes. I’m glad there’s a name for it.

      • A slight lazy eye does not give her dead eyes anyway. They invent anything about her, no matter what she looks like, whatever expression, whatever demeanor, and whatever she says. Everything is distorted in their sick mind to describe her as an evil witch, no matter what she does.

        • They do not hear her, they do not see her. They are hallucinating their wishful projections on her. Sick minds sick fucks.

  118. I have had a hell of a day. Just walked in. Ihave not heard one word of went on today do to the fact. that my car was towed away after it broke down. I wasn’t able to charge my phone.

Would someone please tell me what is going on? Oh also my mom and I got into a heated conversation. about this trial. She is guilty as hell and look at that poor family (Travis) . She is a killer… God help me. I tried. to talk to her. She also said I was the only one who thinks this way..

    • Hi Cindy, sorry about your day. 🙁 the jury asked what to do if they couldn’t reach a decision.

    • Frustrating, isn’t it. I’ve been told I’m “passionate” about this case and that I have a certain “sticking point” which really translates into “your perception is clouded.”

    • My mom says the same stuff, cindy. She won’t listen at all! I hope your day gets better. ((((Cindy))))

      • Thanks guys. I was going crazy not knowing what was going on. I had to wait for a ride home, Funny how a person can be 62 years old and a patent can still try and tell you what to think…lol

    • OMG Cindy! My mother told me in 2009 that everyone thinks something is wrong with my thinking. I cannot speak to my mother about this trial at all she has always been so judgmental and verbal abusive, she thinks it normal to be verbally abusive because she has been conditioned into thinking its ok after years of abuse from my father. Even my husband who abused me she would stand up for and blame me. I have not spoken to her in weeks and honestly may never again.

      • Oh my gosh I’m sorry to hear that 🙁

Abuse can do terrible things to a person, that is for sure.

        • Oh well thank you!! its ok I’m learning to deal finally LOL, I have wonderful daughter and she makes me know that families do not have to be mean to one another lol. But yes, abuse can, brainwash us into thinking its ok after awhile, you take and take it, usually blaming yourself (no doubt what Jodi felt and did) it is very sad.

  119. Cross eyed? Then those are the 2 most beautiful crossed eyes I have ever seen. Strabismus

        • My niece has something similar, one her eye draws slightly towards the nose. I’m not for sure…I looked it up once..thing is something like exotropia. My niece had to do all kinds of eye exercises for it. Later she had surgery to correct it. I’ve often thought Jodi has a mild case of this. It become more noticable when a person is tired. When I hear that shit about her having crazy eyes..I want to smack them

  120. I think now when a few Jury members started to realize that its real stuff “life or death” they started to think over if they are really sure that she have done it with premeditation and these few jurors who have agreed in the beginning to M1 forcefully or they were brainwashed by the haters jury are not feeling conformable to give her the DP

otherwise i don’t see the aggravation and the mitigation factors to be so complicated to hang the jury and not being able to come to an agreement i think the guilty verdict was much more complicated

I wish these jurors will slip out some “good words” and it will be declared a mistrial I so hope that this is the case

also i don’t get why people would fight with their peers and not being able to give up a DP sentence after all its not a requirement unless they really hate Jodi

    • Some who were pressed into agreeing with M1 might have been prepared to balk on the aggravation phase, but then the DT didn’t present any arguments – so they went along again.

  121. We need Geraldo to do an interview. He is the only reporter who has been fair and logically. He knows this is bullshit.

  122. Im telling you if money fell out of the sky into my hands, I would donate some to charity then bankroll a private investigation into what REALLY happened on 6/4 and in the 5 days after.

  123. I’m so devoid of any ability to voice the appropriate outrage for this sham infested excuse for a trial I don’t know where to start.

I actually had the misplaced naivete to think this jury had some remote ability to think based on some of the questions they asked, I really did. But I was as wrong as I was thinking a DNA match with Simpson’s blood being six billion to one that it could have been anyone else who committed those murders, that the Cochran cretins on that jury should have been able to come to nothing but the right conclusion.

You twelve asswipes are just as vile. You’re not a jury, you’re a posse. What were you doing in there for three days, figuring out what “kind” of premeditation you should convict her of? Didn’t one of you meatheads ever question the glaring Titanic lack of proof of any premeditation? Not one of you saw the Third Reich in action? The Jamestown picnic being prepared with the Maricopa County Kool-Aide?

I can only hope to God it wasn’t something more sinister that underlies your real behind the black curtain “premeditated” or CNN version of negotiations. Because if not, not one of you have the intelligence of a turkey. And they look up when it rains and drown themselves.

There is so much beyond (not reasonable) beyond, any reasonable doubt, it should have screamed out at you that Jodi Arias had as much intentional forethought of killing Alexander as any of you did. It wasn’t even a close call. You didn’t ask for one Godammned bit of testimony to be read back. If you didn’t have NOTHING but the Flores report and had actually paid ATTENTION to the testimony of Dr. Geffner, you shouldn’t have needed anything else to see that this was a premeditated conspiracy on the part of the STATE OF ARIZONA to commit murder! But apparently you wouldn’t know the significance of an unperforated dura mater in a gunshot head wound if it bit you in the ass.

You didn’t even comport intelligent reason with the evidence, let alone the rules of law you were sworn to follow. For me to reiterate probably a hundred reasons here of searing mitigating counterpoints to premeditation would just be an effort in futility because you have petrified wood in your craniums.
Martinez fed you contrived, manipulated and intentionally prestidigitated slop for 5 weeks and you gobbled it down like it was lobster bisque.

If the IQ’s of all twelve of you were added together, you wouldn’t have the collective intelligence to know how to make a mud-pie if you had water and mud. I only hope each one of you have a chance to be caught up in the justice system yourselves one day and that a dense bunch of motherfuckers like you get to judge your fate.

For any of you to feign that you now dare want to cry or NOW you’re emotional about the reality that’s just hit you, you make me sick. Who rendered the incomprehensibly deranged fucking verdict of first degree murder? You deserve to choke on that memory for the rest of your life all the way through your family tree to your grandchildren.

Alexander was a religious profligating goody-two shoes on the outside and Arias saw the private perverted child-craving sociopath, who had already almost killed her once and was about to go for try number two on June 4th, 2008. Now, you want to make it a THIRD chance for death and call it justice. You got it wrong!!

There are no mulligans for you, live with it. You should be put into the Witless Relocation Protection Program for impersonating a juror.

If I’ve insulted you, then I didn’t accomplish my goal because I want you to feel like you should crawl under a rock.

You bought into the sibling circus of those face contorting Alexanders who stunk up the courtroom with their carnival show of counterfeit tears and eye rolling to evoke sympathy. I’ve seen better acting in a third grade play. Their motive is cashing in on the lucrative monetary gravy train of all the suckers who are padding their slush funds. The only thing they’re lamenting is that it didn’t happen sooner. It won’t be long before the Zimmerman trial gets all the thunder and their cash cow will dry up. That’s what they’re lamenting.

Stephens you should be arrested for impersonating a judge. What the fuck did you have on those two monitors, soap operas? You had as much clue to what was going on in the trial as that shit bag Nancy Grace. “I see no hands.” —pffffft, I see no brains. You should have been wearing a Martinez T-shirt instead of a black robe. You’re a disgrace to it what it stands for.

If the powers that be don’t throw you off the bench, they should be disbarred for malfeasance of office. Anybody that voted for you in the last election–and damn sure anybody who votes to reelect you next time–should have their voting card revoked.

If all judges ran a courtroom like you and had the temerity of precipitously on a daily basis routinely violating a defendants right to a fair trial with your hair brained rulings, or unequivocally obvious prosecution bias, we would be better off going back to the justice in the days of the Wild Wild West. Fortunately, you’re a rare exception for legal incompetence and clueless understanding of trial protocol in the sanctity of a courtroom.

And Martinez, you evidence fixing mother fucker, I hope I live long enough to see you and your Laurel and Hardy Horne and Flores perjuring loyal minions, be stuffed into prison orange and frog-marched off to a federal penn. The only thing you’re missing is the jack boots and the mustache. The day they put all three of you trifecta of felony committing cocksuckers in handcuffs, it should be declared a national holiday.
Grace, your name should be Ghoul–that would be the really appropriate name.

You other three-name bitch and your pool boy and all you CNN sickos, you should wear a sewer cover on your head for a hat, because you’re nothing but ambulance chasing pure sewage.

Now its onward and upward to the overseers of justice who right the wrongs by scum like you and I’m going to buy special champagne to celebrate when it happens.

  124. Really liked Jodi’s interview with ABC15 She actually let Jodi speak her mind about abuse. Shame Jodi did not do some really good interviews early on. ..Think its a good sign that the Jury is hung…many have said it sounded like there were more than one not agreeing..Dam well time!!

  125. I would just like to say a few things about HLN. The easy thing to do would be to change the channel and not give them any ratings. However, we have to watch them because they are the only cable news channel dedicating 24/7 coverage, and some might say “too much coverage”, to the Jodi Arias trial.

I know that there are a lot of people out there who love and support Travis Alexander and they feel that they have allies in the HLN talking heads. I don’t mean to burst your bubble, people, but Nancy Grace, Jane Velez-Mitchell, Vinnie Politan, Dr. Drew, Ryan Smith, etc. do not give a rat’s ass about Travis, his family or you. They only care about ratings and whatever they have to do to sensationalize the coverage of this trial to get more people to watch, they will do. So, for all of the public posturing and tearful displays of empathy towards poor Travis and his family, it’s a crock. And, believe me, as soon as this trial is over, they will wash their hands completely of Travis Alexander and move on to the next big trial looking for more blood in the water.

It has been a rough couple of weeks, but I think it is important to try and find some humor even in the darkest of places. Watching HLN over the past couple of days has been hilarious. They are freaking out so much right now because they are scared to death that Jodi might either get life in prison or the jury will once again not be able to reach a decisive verdict. And, you know what? I love it! I love watching them stammer their words and the beads of sweat profusely pouring down their forehead. I love watching them have the same look that a toddler gets at Toys ‘R Us when his mommy won’t buy him a certain toy. LOL So, when it gets tough and seems like there is no hope, I think it’s good to try and find some solace through humor.

I watched all of Jodi’s interviews today and if you didn’t love this woman before yesterday, you’ve got to love her now. 🙂 Jodi, I am so proud of you. Pardon me for saying this, but you simply kicked ass last night and took some names along the way. She is my kind of woman-strong, independent, positive, humble and doesn’t take any shit from no one. The media and Team Travis will call you “arrogant”, but the only arrogance that I have seen displayed in the past 48 hours is coming from the talking heads at HLN. Not only arrogance, but rudeness, disrespect, exploitation, harassment, bias, prejudice, dishonesty and shameless self-promotion.

Finally, I keep hearing at HLN how Jodi Arias NEVER said that she was sorry for what she did. Here is a direct quote from Jodi Arias in court yesterday: “To this day, I can hardly believe I was capable of such violence. But I know that I was, and for that, I’m going to be sorry for the rest of my life”. Did you get that HLN? She said she is going to be, what? What’s that word again? I believe she said the word “sorry” which Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines as “feeling sorrow, regret or penitence”. It is expected that those in the media who aren’t journalists will have opinions and take sides in court cases like this one. However, when journalists who are supposed to be objective, fair and non-biased start showing up outside of a courtroom posing with fanatics that look like they’re at a tailgate party, I am left to question when the pom-poms will arrive. Their behavior is not only outrageous, but it is embarrassing. They have had their time to trash Jodi Arias and propel Travis Alexander The Great to martyrdom, but the cracks are already starting to form. The tide is slowly but surely turning, ladies and gentlemen. And, as I said earlier, it won’t happen overnight or as quickly as we would like it to, but in the end, we will be victorious and Jodi will be a free woman. Keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight! God bless you all!

    • The fact is that she could never apologize enough in the eyes of the media; reality is, she cannot go back, she cannot change what occurred and I think she’s made peace with that. For heaven’s sake, it’s been 5 years – of course she’s not going to have the same response as she would of if this had occurred yesterday or last month. I for one, am pleased with the strength and power I see in her interviews. That reporter (I believe his name was Owens?) was basically emotionally whipping her in a nasty sarcastic manner and she basically said “No!”; – she carried herself well, was articulate and poised. She truly is, a survivor. I was also glad to see that she’s able to let the negativity roll off, that the “haters” aren’t able to get under her skin. Many blessings ~

  126. I don’t trust this jury. I hope they aren’t saying they may hung or giving that illusion because they want everyone to think that and then Sammy they wanted death all along. Just don’t trust them

  127. I continue to be appalled at the things I see online every day. I don’t think I can take it much longer. I may need to close my FB account. This is really frying my brain. I literally want to move abroad and leave the hating fanatics in this country to their nasty wiles. They are uncivilized, immoral, inhumane and ignorant. I have been accused of being a quack, a fake doctor, immoral and , of course, dangerous and mentally ill. It is beyond horrendous.

    • Yep Nancy, I take a break from time to time, too much hate. Sometimes you just need to step back from the insanity of it all.

  128. Well must leave you for a while going to watch HLN to see them use your comments here and the jury sent home to watch them too I can here them say Jodi is a witch lets dunk her in the river and see if she drowns if she does she is guilty

  129. So the jury went home to ‘sleep on it’? Unfreakingbelievable. There’s surely at least 1 of them fighting for Jodi’s life and standing firm against the other sniveling cowards. But I worry, with the inappropriate verdict they rendered, if there is even one brave person on this jury. One that isn’t afraid to break away from the herd of bleating sheep and to make the right decision. I am doubtful but hope they prove me wrong.

      • I think there’s one bitch on that jury that tries to rule them all. I think she is a bully who manipulates everyone to do what she wants. She is probably one of those hateful haters.

        • I think #8 was the lead asshole prior to getting booted. Who is foreperson, do we know?

  130. All I know is Juan better be glad I wasn’t on that jury because it would have been hung from the beginning and if anyone tried to sway my vote I would have knocked a bitch out. Seems a couple of those people are too passive and someone is taking advantage of them.

      • If I wee on the jury I would have got up and knocked the shit out of the weasel right there in court and then told the jury that this is the true liar and murderer because he and his minions hid and tampered with evidence to fit their “case” and not the truth that proves JODI is innocent! Then I’d gone after Flip-Flop Flores and Hide the Truth Horn!(PS since I don’t believe in striking women—I’d moon pickles!

  131. Judge Stephens: “Please go back to the jury room and continue deliberating until you come back with the Death Penalty. Sieg Heil!”

  132. On lifetime tonight, “Jodi Arias beyond the headlines”, 10pm eastern time. Police explain the murder case. They just couldn’t wait.

    • (And it plays again at 11, for those -like me- who don’t want to miss the season finale of *Nashville*.)

      • Followed by a plug for Lifetime’s crap movie, I’m sure. “Tune in to watch the St. Travis Story, coming in June!”

  133. ‘Please continue to browbeat and apply peer pressure to the stickler holding up this eagerly-awaited public massacre’ pleads Judge Pickles inbetween popping her Zanax pills and swigging her Jack Daniels.

    • …this is after she takes Juan boys penis out of her mouth. May I find the strength not to behave this way. lol

  134. I wanted to say something else here about domestic abuse. For many years now I have been involved with such organizations as Men Can Stop Rape and RAIN (Rape And Incest Network) and I like to think of myself as a gentleman who was raised to treat women with respect. But I think that as you get older, a man has to take responsibility for his own life and, hopefully, he exercises his own free will by making good, positive judgments in life.

Sadly, I have been around women who suffered from domestic abuse. One of them was an ex-girlfriend that I dated a couple of years ago and she wound up going back to the guy, who was her fiancé, and she had broken their engagement, but after he begged and pleaded for her to come back, she did. I can’t even begin to tell you how disheartening that was for me. Another was a friend of mine that I have known for 20 years and I love her to death. She is one of my best friends and her ex-husband did not just abused her, he abused her animals as well. Thankfully, she had the good sense to finally leave, but not before he inflicted plenty of emotional, psychological and physical damage upon her. The last one is another friend of mine that is like a sister to me and I’ve known her for over a decade. Her ex never physically abused her, but he verbally and emotionally abused her and she had the terrifying voice mails to prove it. His voice mails were so scary they made the Mel Gibson ones look tame by comparison.

I said recently how I was raised Catholic, but I consider myself to be more spiritual than religious. However, I do my best every day to do God’s work while here on Earth. I try to help people and that is one of the main reasons why I am here. It is so frustrating for me personally to see beautiful, lovely, intelligent, sophisticated women be in relationships with these cavemen that initially come across as sweet, sensitive and romantic, but within a short period of time their true colors show and they try to inflict as much damage as they can.

Relationships are like a waterbed; they’re easy to get into and hard to get out of. I know that there will be some people who read this post and respond by saying “That’s all well and good, Frank, but that’s very easy for you to say.” But does that make it any less true? I know that there are lots of people in this world that would prefer to stay in a relationship, no matter how abusive it has been or could get worse, than to be lonely. These people are risking their lives, their well-being and, in some cases, their children’s well-being just so they don’t have to be lonely. And, for a guy like me, it is so frustrating how many women fall for the whole “bad boy” phenomena. I am 40 years old. I have no desire to be a “boy”. I am a man and I believe that it’s not so much what a man says, but rather what he does that matters. Travis Alexander may have been charismatic, handsome and entertaining as a speaker, but he was a pig behind the mask. Sadly, there are many others just like him in this world and my advice for women is to exercise with caution.

I would like to end this by quoting from the late, great author Napoleon Hill. He had this to say about sexuality: “Intemperance in sex habits is just as detrimental as intemperance in habits of drinking and eating. In this age in which we live, an age which began with the world war, intemperance in habits of sex is common. This orgy of indulgence may account for the shortage of great leaders. No man can avail himself of the forces of his creative imagination, while dissipating them. Man is the only creature on earth which violates Nature’s purpose in this connection. Every other animal indulges its sex nature in moderation, and with purpose which harmonizes with the laws of nature. Every other animal responds to the call of sex only in ‘season.’ Man’s inclination is to declare ‘open season.’ Every intelligent person knows that stimulation in excess, through alcoholic drink and narcotics, is a form of intemperance which destroys the vital organs of the body, including the brain. Not every person knows, however, that over indulgence in sex expression may become a habit as destructive and as detrimental to creative effort as narcotics or liquor. A sex-mad man is not essentially different than a dope-mad man! Both have lost control over their faculties of reason and will-power. Sexual overindulgence may not only destroy reason and willpower, but it may also lead to either temporary, or permanent insanity. Many cases of hypochondria (imaginary illness) grow out of habits developed in ignorance of the true function of sex.”

Whether you are a man or a woman, if you have been abused, you did NOTHING wrong. IMHO no one should ever lay a hand upon you except one based in friendship. One hit is too many.

    • Thanks Frank, love your posts. Many years ago, I had some exposure to a group called Men Against Rape and they were amazing. They were stronger and more powerful than ANY women’s organization. Very inspirational.

In regards to abused women, most of us go back and go back and go back. It’s an incredibly difficult situation to get out of, worse than you can ever imagine. And they hunt us down. As you probably know, I’m an abuse victim, out of my relationship for just 26 months, and I’ll be divorced for a year in less than a month. I’ve been quite vocal about my abuse, and as a result, several women have come forward about their own. One of the most frustrating aspects of trying to be there to support them is that they go back and forth about leaving. If they do leave, they go back. Some of them just can’t find a way to leave — a concept I totally understand. Some have been in and left other abusive relationships in the past, and they simply don’t have the strength to do so again — another concept I understand because it took everything I’ve got and I don’t think I could do it again.

The abuse gets worse after you leave — in ways other than physical. It’s also more unpredictable. When you’re with them, at least you have some idea where they are and what kind of mood they’re in. If they come home in a bad mood, you behave accordingly and try to avoid abuse. At least, you’re forewarned. After you leave, the “hits” come without you having a clue and often, out of the blue. I still check my bank accounts and credit card accounts DAILY to make sure he hasn’t gotten into them. Women who leave are scared, alone, and beaten down emotionally. I often thought it would be easier to just go back and deal with it — screwed up as that may sound.

The ONLY thing you can do for an abused woman is to be there for her constantly. I’ve been so frustrated when one week, a woman tells me he knocked her into the refrigerator, and the following week, he’s the best man in the world. But I did the same thing, so I understand. Just keep reminder them the abuse is NOT their fault and they deserve better. And keep being there for them — even if they run away and avoid you for a while. If you can, and if they can, encourage them to get involved they used to enjoy and/or be good at before he convinced them otherwise.

My “revelation” that he was actually wrong is really quite ironic. Prior to meeting him, I had a part time gig in my 20s where I was a sort of semi-professional backing singer and I did a bit of theatre. I knew I wasn’t lead singer material, but I also knew I could carry a tune — I’d been paid to do so. While with him, I was, at first, one of those people who breaks into a song lyric to describe a feeling or something apropos to the conversation. People would say: “You have a lovely voice.” He would immediately slam them down and tell them not to feed my ego. After that, I stopped singing, other than in the shower, or to do my scales when he was out of the house. He caught me a few times and told me my voice was utter shit from all my years of smoking and old age. I believed him and stopped even singing in the shower.

After my beloved kitty died, he bought me an iphone. I was thoroughly enjoying the show “Glee” on TV and all the singing. He would never let me have a DVR to record anything, and I missed a lot of episodes. Lo and behold, one day, while watching, a commercial came on and they advertised an iphone karaoke app which was free. I downloaded it. It took me about a month to pluck up the courage to sing on it, but I did. It was mainly kids at first and I felt like a silly old lady. But people were able to leave comments, and many of them flattered me. We went on vacation for my birthday and he caught me checking the app for comments. He told me it was incredibly embarrassing. I told him no one on there knew my name. He said it was a disgrace and forced me to delete the app, and I, of course, obeyed.

But he bought me an iPad for my birthday that year. It was about a month later that it was delivered. When I got it and plugged it into iTunes, it redownloaded all the apps I already owned. One of them was the Glee Karaoke app. Well, since I didn’t deliberately get it again, I felt perhaps it was fate. I immediately checked my comments. By this time, the app had some really great singers on there, some of whom sing professionally. I even had requests to sing duets with them, along with flattering compliments. I couldn’t believe it!

What struck me FINALLY after all those years was that he couldn’t be right about my lack of ability to sing when all these great singers said I was quite good. These two “truths” couldn’t be true simultaneously. Someone had to be wrong. Since there were more of them than him, and since I’d previously always known I could sing, it dawned on me that everything he said about me wasn’t true. It was a complete revelation. He was the master of my world. He controlled everything about me. I had always assumed he was 100% right and that I was very lucky to have him because no one else would put up with me. And then, suddenly, just like that, he was no longer infallible. The mustard seed was planted, and from then on, I began to look at him differently.

And that’s the reason I BEG abused women to find something they like to do, if they can, even if it’s just in their own homes. Perhaps like me, they’ll find that one little revelation that will change their lives and free them.

Sorry for the long story, but I hope it makes sense, Frank.

      • Also Abused, never apologize for the long story. I enjoyed reading it although I am so sorry that you had to endure abuse. *HUGS*

  135. Funny story to lighten up the mood while we wait, Hubby was watching hln with me today, and he asked who’s Sherry Stevens, I told him the judge in JA’s case. He replied I thought her name was pickles, hahaha. He really thought she was Judge Pickles because of fb posts on my page.

    • Haaahaaaaa, that’s great! !!! That name really stuck, thanks to Trixels (I blv she came up with the name)! And I wonder if the judge know that we’ve changed her name? LMAO

    • Same thing happened with Mr Mommabear!!! Wanted to know why we call her Pickles!! Told him it was the cleanest thing someone thought of……..

    • LOL too funny!

I automatically use Kermit, Pickles, etc. instead of their real names now.

  136. Abe Abdelhadi is the biggest piece of chicken diarrhea slime I have ever seen! Who the fuck is he? Who the fuck gave Abe any authority to speak? Travis hated him…..he is just bitter Jodi never gave it up to him. Filthy pig. Whydont Abe and Clancy go screw each other to death?…..for real!

  137. “Super Kool”, Abe….just said that everyone that supports Jodi and send her postcards are inbred!

    • Doesn’t Abe know that he is the BIGGES LOSER of them all! NOBODY wantted you man! NOBODY! TA didn’t want you as a friend, Jodi didn’t want your ugly Abdelhali ass either, NOBODY!

      • Look at his face. Who is he calling inbred?

He is a hateful asshole with anger management problems. When Travis Alexander calls you a douchebag, you know you have issues.

        • Ha! Well, nobody said that disordereds can’t sometimes recognize other disordereds!

Abe can’t stop thinking about Jodi’s underwear, and he hates HER for it.

  138. It’s one thing to believe in the death penalty, but when one is responsible for actually voting for the person to be put to death is another. I could not do it.

    • Then maybe there is some hope for the personal integrity of these jurors. At least one of them knows that they hold a human life in their hands. I, as well, couldn’t sentence anyone to death. It is something that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives if she is given the DP.

  139. Media cowards, Ryan Owens, Troy Hayden. Sure it’s easy to dog pile Jodi Arias cause everyone else has been doing it since day one. What happened to America’s rugged individualism, a people who thought for themselves, used their intelligence to form their own opinions. We’re now a nation of sheeple ruled by a televised mob because we’re all living in a manufactured reality. Everything, every single thing in our lives is about content. Content to fill the airwaves and websites, turn everything into something that can be scanned in seconds, perused minimally, gurgitated, then spit out into more degraded content. How disgusting an ‘Information Age’ based on nothing more than rumors, popular emotion, hate, and most of all – fear.

    • Ryan Owens is a pathetic excuse for a reporter
& Troy Hayden showed his true colors quick!
WTF is wrong with these sub humans?

      • Ryan Owens is a fucking douche bag! I can’t believe he attacked her like that and he didn’t even have the dignity to look her in the eye when she confronted him for a coward.

        • He is a disgusting excuse for an interviewer. You don’t attack your subject if you want to get a good story. He should watch Diane Sawyer to see how it’s done.

        • I know OMG what an ass!!! “When are you gona tell us the truth?” How rude! “So did you lie about wanting to die?” WTF a person cannot change their minds about death? Hello, people change their minds a hundred times about what to eat, give me a break, it doe not mean it is a lie. All she cared about was her makeup, well guess what people with low self esteem can be overly concerned with their appearance. He was completely bias, what happened to journalism? I just dont know any more I am so sick, I am grateful you people exist, but I really wish I could go to an island and have only like minded people around me.

  140. To Roger Jodi’s ex-boyfriend, at this point we see that she was indeed programmed to accept abusive men in her life. You are pathetic and so abusive just like all the rest of these people who are giving you the right to speak with such rage. What we know about men who are abusive them blame the woman and you are true to form. There is such a sickness that is obvious and not painful for those of us who have been through this domestic abuse issue. Survivor is the name of this game. I for one do not feel sorry for Travis Alexander why? Because he helped make this happen, no one just kills because they have a day that says today, or else. I don’t forgive this Roger person Jodi might but on day she will see that distance and the truth of how one’s life is destroyed by domestic abuse means two people go down. And in this case two people did, if he had killed her you would all have been okay with that because abuse is okay to you.

  141. I do no feel sorry for Travis Alexander, being an abuser doesn’t mean automatic ok and although I feel sorry for the life and torment he must have lived and his dying I do not pretend to not understand what two people do and how it happens. I do feel badly for his family but its been five years now and this two is something that is only revenge is an answer its sad. Our countries choice to do things the way we do. Its sad but not anything one cant get out from under. Our sisters and brothers die our children die. We feel that horrendous loss and we do have to continue it by laws. These people are drained from the promise of death.

  142. Okay so lifetime is spewing the same crap as all the other media, and is showing previews of their movie. How in the hell is one person suppose to fight against all of this crap.

    • I had my cable shut off. I didn’t want to hear anymore of the propaganda.

      • I was thinking, maybe we could make a place on here where survivors can share their tragic experiences of surviving abuse, maybe even where the justice system failed them. This is our opportunity for voices of those affected by domestic violence, opening eyes of the true fact that 1 in 4 women are experiencing abuse in one way or another. So many dynamics that we can all share…It’s a thought and the only way people will get it, is to hear survivors speak their truths.

We just keep the focus on God’s will and it will be done. I believe Jodi is going to make serious impact as well as head way in the movement, she’s not backing down. I am so proud to see her stand up for domestic violence victims and survivors as she is. I felt her conviction come through with a loving spirit. This latest interview was powerful for the whole world. She’s made up her mind and she’s not looking back 🙂 GO JODI, SPEAK ON, KEEP SPEAKING IT FROM YOUR HEART, JUST AS YOU ARE> PEOPLE WILL BEGIN TO LISTEN, THEY ARE LISTENING AND THEY TOO WILL BELIEVE IN YOU.

  143. I did get to watch the interview Jodi did last night on my computer. She is a graceful, well spoken woman. She can and will make a big difference for the future. All she needs is a chance to prove it. I believe she will make us all proud.

  144. I’m so sick of the lies HLN keeps on feeding us. Sometimes I have no choice but to check them out to see if there is any new developments in the case but I just hate how they twist the truth and start picking on every little think Jodi does, from combing her hair, etc, etc. Where do they find those low scum so called experts. This is beyond ridiculous. HLN, stop bullying Jodi Arias. Someone has to do something to stop this kind of harassment on a private citizen.

  145. JVM claims Jodi is the most hated woman in America. She must have gotten Jodi mixed up with

Nasty Dis-Grace! , who lives off the misery & troubles of others

    • I agree! Nancy Grace really makes me mad. She doesn’t let anyone talk or have an opinion. And she was talking to the reporter who interviewed Jodi last night earlier and they were both being completely rude. Just because you think you were given authority to Lord over people doesn’t make it true. I am pound of Jodi. She handled that mans questions beautifully…even though what he was asking was completely uncalled for.

  146. This lifetime movie supposedly portraying this trial and Jodi is an excuse me French a fucking joke! Did any one of you see the coming attractions? The actor that plays doushbag Juan (first of all is about 6 feet taller then that shrimp of a man) and secondly asks Jodi questions like he is reading his kid a bedtime story completely falsifying the dickhead and inappropriate abuse Juan used against her! What a fucking joke and shame!

    • This is the first I’d ears of that..I feel like we would have known that already, no?

      • Yes, but I believe Gus, no reason to lie about that. This was an OMG moment when he said that. There is so much that is out there to support Jodi and it is all being suppressed. Why do they want her dead so bad? Also was watching the chat during that broadcast and someone wrote that the Alexander’s are not what they are pretending to be, but that we all ready figured out. And also in chat someone said that Martinez refused to prosecute the person calling Jennifer and making death threats against her, saying it was no big deal. But there must be something going on, because on hln today, they kept saying Jennifer was being escorted by 3 sheriff deputies.

        • satan is pissed at Jodi right nw and you can see it in the faces of the talking heads lol it’s spiritual warfare for those who dig. I’m so proud of Jodi!!!

          • It so interconnected it’s like incestous. Now I have a hard time believing what Mimi testified to. No sparks, don’t believe that.

            • Gus Searcy said that the Cancun trip passenger list was already nailed down in Feb 2008. Wasn’t TA still dating Lisa Andrews in Feb ’08, yet taking Mimi on trip? Heard somewhere that Mimi was going to bunk in cabin with Hughes’ babysitter on cruise. Wonder who the babysitter was.

            • There may have been no sparks. Honestly, he probably wanted to get married. Dave Hall was one of his close friends. Dave Hall’s little sister was single. Mimi and Dave got set up on a date as a result. Not very unusual.

Now, she may have known that Travis was abusive but never testified to it, but I think it is very unfair to accuse women of lying about not being sexually involved with someone when they claim that they weren’t.

    • Creepy how this is all connected. Poor Jodi she is against a bunch of soulless, sociopathic people that are diverting attention from themselves!

    • And the bit about Gus’ friend in the car, so scared of the Hughes and getting caught up in the mess that she left the country?

      OMG!

  147. JVM is so jealous of Jodi’s looks. She was making fun of Jodi’s “sexiness.”

Jodi is a naturally attractive, sexy woman she’s not trying that’s who she is you stupid bitch JVM. Go save dogs and stop sounding like a douche!

    • And we know that JVM is not hot at all, could you stand to be around her for more than 5 minutes with the way she yells everything. She acts like she is on the verge of hysteria all the time.

      • “She acts like she is on the verge of hysteria all the time.”

OMG, that made me laugh so hard! lol!

    • jvm is insane .. can’t stand the way she already puts uh between every 3 words and lmao today when she fell all over herself looking for something to say and having to get ppl from across the roped off line to pay attention to her. Some today said they were no pro dp and she cut them off . . as usual. Why doesn’t hln ringside a cat fight between Gloria allred and her daughter Lisa Bloom, since they do not agree with each other on this trial.

  148. People hate Jodi because she is a strong intelligent woman who is not cowering and is standing up for herself. Three hundred years ago she would have been burnt at the stake for exactly those reasons. We have not come very far at all.

    • No we haven’t and unfortunately women are the ones that are making the worse judgment. Not all but mostly women. It’s jealousy that she’s pretty and she’s strong. She doesn’t want pity from people, and its understandable. She wants to be judged fairly that’s it. And she hasn’t?

It’s easier to hate than to understand.

      • Yes, it is the women because we are subliminally thought that our emotional survival requires we be valued by a man, that other women are the biggest threat to that survival goal and at the top of that threat hierarchy are strong, pretty, intelligent women. This will not stop until we teach our girls to value themselves for who they are rather than who they’re with.

      • Its easier to join the masses than to stand up for what’s right! And yeah whatt u said too. Y:)

    • I hear you RB. Americans are so quick to say how progressive we are, but it’s moments like this that define us for what we really are.

  149. I just caught the last minute of a radio interview with Gus Searcy. The part I heard sounded very “pro-Jodi” and corrects some of the misinformation – a.k.a. lies – re. Jodi & Travis’s relationship. The second part starts right now. I would love to hear viewpoints from anyone who listened to the interview.

Gus Searcy on What They Didn’t Want You to Know

    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/routingout/2013/05/23/gus-searcy-on-what-they-didnt-want-you-to-know

“Gus Searcy contrasts the Jodi Arias he knew in real life and from PPL report, or more aptly LACK of it, with the media-created myth. He addresses the urban legends about Jodi and Travis’ relationship, and reveals that there were multiple people who could have redressed the distorted portrayal that the prosecution and media put forth. Why didn’t they come forward? Tune in to hear what Gus has to say about that too.”

    • I always liked Gus. Although he loves the cameras, I always got a feeling he was an honest person. Even though he sells through PPL he found a way to do it where he didn’t have underlings scrambling to keep him rich. I respect him for that.

    • Omg! I just listened to it and I really hope I’m not the only one because he was upfront and so straightforward about all the myths that the media have made up about her. He has confirmed that no one comes forward on her behalf because they are afraid and have been threatened by the mormons. Hah! And the way he said it with so much certain as if he already expected the threats by them to cover up everything. This anonymous female who witnessed Jodi being abused by travis literally left the country in hopes to escape the bullying. Even Gus Searcy himself witnessed Jodi trying to break up with Travis nd howsgu HE was not allowing her to let go!!! Btw he is also dia

  150. yes, true . . biggest question is why is that? There’s always a common denominator or hub. Sorta like Spanky and the Gangs He man womans haters clubs.

    • “Spanky and the Gangs He man womans haters clubs”

I’m not sure what you were commenting in context to, but I thought that was hilarious!!! 🙂

      • it was meant for under RB’s comment. . . brings to mind . . are we going to campaign for Hillary? lol .. I am

        • lol cb, I’m not even sure if she wants to run. Which is a shame because I like her a lot!!!

  151. I just watched the ABC15 interview with Amy Murphy and when Jodi was asked if Travis knew he was being recorded she said that they had discussed it in a chat sequence just before that but that that evidence didn’t come into the trial. I thought, here we go, the State I think (and HLN I know) made a big production about Jodi secretly recording the sex talk to use against Travis and here is actual written evidence. I wonder why that was kept out (some sort of hearsay crap?) and I wonder when we will get to see that evidence.

    ABC15 interview: http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_phoenix_metro/central_phoenix/jodi-arias-interview-arias-speaks-out-to-abc15-as-jury-deliberates-on-death-penalty

    • Hi RB!
Actually there are mounds of evidence that we haven’t seen. The jury never saw it either because, just like you said, it was “hearsay”. BUT, some of that evidence may be allowed in if she wins an appeal for a new trial. As far as us ever seeing it, yes it could be released once this is all over with and Jodi is sentenced. I’m not sure why it would be hearsay when he actually said it but….

      • I’ve always believed 100% that recording was planned and discussed. It is so apparent in the first thing he says in that tape “ok, let’s talk about regular things, get ourselves normalized first” or something to that affect. How the morons on HLN and others for that matter find logic around that is beyond me, when you clearly have him talking about making porn videos, and having the camera on her for the whole tree thing. Is it really that big of a leap to think he agreed to record this tape? Idiots. F*n idiots. I think the rules are around here to keep it clean, so I won’t continue with what I really want to say!

        • Jodi testified in the trial Travis knew he was being recorded. They were planning to do this previously, but Jodi always forgot to do it.

Why are people making the outrageous claim he didn’t know he was being recorded? Of course he knew.

          • A reporter in one of the interviews last night brought it up, that Travis didn’t know he was being recorded and Jodi had a look like, what the hell are you talking about? and that has been discussed many many times as another one of Jodi’s lies. Absurd.

            • Yeah, and that’s been spread around by the Hughes’ saying that she recorded the phone sex secretly, and that’s the reason for TA’s May 26 email where he says she’s the worst thing that ever happened to him. He goes on to say she scamed (sic) him. I’ve wondered what he was so angry about in that email and think that maybe it had to do with his BMW. She was buying it from him, then on the way out of AZ the transmission blew cause of the UHaul tow dolly. She ended up leaving the Beamer in Mesa. Maybe she told him she wasn’t going to buy the car from him after all and he got pissed? We do know that TA really didn’t care emotionally about her, so perhaps the scam he spoke of involved money. JA testified that he was very meticulous about keeping track of his money when she was asked about who paid for what on their trips together.

          • Ok seriously…. if Travis was okay with having graphic photos of himself taken and with sexting, it isn’t a far stretch to think that he’d be okay with having a graphic conversation recorded …. (this is to the people who keep denying Travis knew anything).

Additionally, if Jodi made that tape to blackmail him, then why would Travis let her take naked pictures of him?

            People need to think!

            • So true Nk so true.

Also, if she were blackmailing him, why would she allow him to have naked pictures of her? Wouldn’t that defeat the purposes of getting the upper hand?

            • Really, they make no sense when they talk about blackmail. She’s on the tape as well! Why would she expose herself to shame. I haven’t really heard TA’s regular speaking voice, but why does he sound like he’s either loaded or drunk on that sex tape?

  152. Found out that HLN gives tours of their studio. May go on one so that I can “meet” Vinnie Puke-a-thon with my fist to his face and my foot up his ass! Then tell them to televise that!!!!

  153. Hello everybody. I have started my new job which is exciting but time consuming. I’m reading the comments and watching videos, etc., late…..as it is 12:22 am now. I’m still team Jodi. I miss being able to comment as things transpired.

Hello to all those that I posted to their comments throughout…you know who you are.

    Team Jodie

  154. OK I need to know. How did Juan know about Jodi’s witness’s taxes and pot smoking? And how can this be legal to use against a person who wants to testify on behalf of a friend? So in order to testify for a friend in this country we have to have background checks and be as clean as Mother Thersa?

And how can the judge not accept a hung jury the first time around, doesnt it seem intimating within itself, telling people to try again. I mean these are grown adults that you trust are not watching or interacting with social events, people whatever but when they tell you they cannot agree they cannot be trusted?

Oh, and according to that asshole reporter the jury is watching the media. Did anyone catch that? HAHA He said something like we cannot trust that the jurors arent watching the media.

    • Unfortunately, this is legal and routine. They do background checks to impeach a witness.

It does sound like the Judge thinks some or one juror(s) only have a misunderstanding of the life sentence, and that her little instruction to go back and hash it out will result in a penalty as opposed to a hung jury.

      • wow I did not know that, I mean for court and testimony but not at the end stage they should not be allowed to do a background check. If that is the case then the travis family too should have to be given one.

  155. So, its late and i got a few minutes, so here are my “Lipsisms” On the death penalty.

I will try to stay on point, for this serious matter, but i may be hard. i’ll try?

First, as i see it, there are 3 maybe 4 purposes served when you give a punishment:
    1) To make sure that the offender doesn’t offend again: Singularly this means to physically remove them from a position to commit the same crime again. (If i’m kicked out bed, i will not be able to wake her up with ass grabbing and snoring)

    2) A deterrent: To convince the offender not to do it again, or they will get a harsh reaction. (I wake her up in the middle of the night for some much needed lovin, she is not in the mood…So she smacks me, this is to teach me that NEXT time i can expect a smack, if I attempt a similar offense)

    3) Rehabilitation: To give time for the offender to learn skills other than the offensive actions that brought on the punishment. (I learn, via many punishments, that if i work my magic BEFORE we are sleeping, i have no “smack” to fear and the consequences are positive)

    4) Retribution: Another name for this is revenge. Somehow the punishment will make the victim feel better. (If I wait until she is sleeping to wake her for Mr. lover lover, she supposedly may take some delight in kicking the shit out of me)

So, now we see why we punish, so what punishments fit the law? We punish for one reason, per or social guidelines. “To make sure that crime is lowered”. This could be by stopping this particular offender or this could be as a deterrent to future offenders that see the consequences if they choose to offend.

It could be argued that the most severe of these punishments are “Death”. Most would agree this is the harshest punishment that the US legal system allows. (For those states that use it)

So, we are left to think about this “penalty” of death. First i find it telling that we call “death” a penalty, yet we consider all other sentences “punishment” OR you may hear it the other way around “the punishment was a 3 year sentence” Yet, we “pretty it up” when we call it the “Death Penalty”. Its a DEATH SENTENCE. period.

The death sentence is is held for the most severe crimes, as it is the most severe punishment. (arguably at least) For example you can be sentenced to death for murder if it includes…rape….molesting children.etc… In AZ you are also eligible for the death sentence if the crime involved theft, fleeing a cop, breaking out of a jail and Marijuana! Yes, any of the crimes, if they are a felony can turn a murder charge into a death sentence in AZ!

One could then speculate that 2 criminals could commit the EXACT same crime, but if one of them did it, while say…wearing a red mask and stealing a candy bar (it is a felony to commit any offense in AZ while wearing a red mask), and the other did not steal a candy bar…that one could get a sentence of 25 years, the other could be sentenced to death. The same Murder…yet one guy is killed…for stealing a candy bar.

As it pertains to Jodi Arias’s case, it is the (possible) punishment for killing someone while stealing a “gun” OR for thinking about killing someone, and then actually doing it. (Pre-meditation)

Regarless of if you think you have a very good, noble or just reason to kill someone its “pre-meditated” murder if you plan then commit the killing. The law is also clear on this. (even if you are the state of AZ?)

In it self, the state has said “we are so appalled that someone would kill someone in our state, that if you do it we will…kill you.?! I guess there are several ways to question this, the easiest is to say “what the fuck are you talking about?” Or i suppose you could simply say “hypocrites”.
Isn’t that like the parent that tells their teenaged child “don’t smoke”, while they have a marlboro hanging from their dirty lips? Or, if you prefer, isn’t that simply saying “do as i say, not as i do”?

The bottom line is, does it work? Regardless of the reasons they convict, or how they do it… Does it at least serve the purpose it was intended for? Again, that purpose is “punishment”.

    The simple answer is NO.
    Deterrent?
In every single state that has a death penalty, the offenses punishable with death have went UP since the year it was enacted. Texas, for example has the highest DP convictions and the most executions in the country, yet their rates for DP offenses in 2003 was higher than the year they started the DP. Perhaps they had a bad year? NO, Wisconsin, which does not have a DP has NEVER had a DP offense rate as high as texas..ANY year. EVERY year since the start of the DP in Texas they have had a DP offense rate 2 times higher than the national average. Oklahoma, SAME story. DP state…DP offenses are higher now than before the DP and they are above the national average EVERY year.

So, it doesn’t work as a punishment for “deterring” people to offend.

How about “rehabilitation”? Well, its hard to think the rehab part of punishment would work, since the offender is DEAD when the sentence is carried out. SO, nope…its not an effective “rehab” punishment.

Ok, well there is still the “make sure the offender doesn’t do it again” part. Yes, this is where it SHINES. It does have a 100% track record in this category! Here are some stats on this success..
    A) Not a single person that has been put to death has EVER murdered a civilian again. However, no one that has been sentenced to life in prison has ever killed a civilian again either. (unless they escaped)
    B) The success story also stopped 82 INNOCENT inmates from hugging their children or family members, while on death row. Since 1976, 82 DP inmates have been freed from death row. That means 1 inmate is freed, after being convicted, for every 7 inmates that have been put to death. 1 in 7! EVEN IN BASEBALL, THATS A POOR AVERAGE.
    C) Although some people would like to use $ as the reason to not house inmates for life, we have ANOTHER success story for you: This reason was sold to many of the states that have a DP, yet the facts are that the cost of an average inmate, for life, in max security prison is $500,000. Yet the average cost to put an inmate to death is $2,000,000. or 4x as much.

So why are societies in the US allowing this to continue? Well, we have forgotten about one last part of “punishment”…RETRIBUTION. Yes, Revenge. Why else? If you have another reason, please tell me? Its not for cost, rehab, deterrent or to stop re-offenders. THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS LEFT, as “punishment” goes. And punishment is the only thing we give out in our courts.

So i will leave you with this: If you think you have a good reason to kill someone, you plan this killing, then you act on this killing, you are CONVICTED in AZ. In AZ they think they have a good reason to kill Jodi Arias, they are planning the killing of Jodi Arias, and they will act on this plan. Per the law, this IS MURDER, and they should be convicted. Especially since they do NOT have a good reason…but i will wait for someone to answer what “value” her death would bring, JUST incase i am wrong.

(before some ass fuck puts “for the family” i will remind you that revenge is not what the courts are built to provide.)

I await anyone’s answer to that question, even if your Pro Jodi and want to just play devils advocate.

    • I am pro Jodi, so these aren’t my words, but those of a family member of mine who sees this case much differently.

I asked this family member, why do you care if she’s put to death or not? Her answer was that so she can’t hurt his family or trash his name (such as, through interviews like last night) ever again.

      • Inform them that when she is in a max security prison she will not be allowed to do those things either.

But, the reason for death, per your friends, would be “to stop her from talking”. We dont kill people for talking badly, do we? Should we?

        • I wasn’t aware of that (max security prison, no interviews) and am sad to hear that. I of course on the opposing side of said family member would love to hear from Jodi for years to come.

          • Death Row are classified as maximum custody. All inmates are single cells which are equipped with a toilet, sink, bed and mattress. Each Death Row inmate has no contact with any other inmate. Out-of-cell time is limited to outdoor exercise in a secured area, two hours a day, three times a week, and a shower, three times a week. All meals are delivered by correction officers at the cell front. Limited non-contact visitation is available. Death Row inmates may place two ten minute telephone calls per week. Personal property is limited to hygiene items, two appliances, two books and writing materials, which can be purchased from the inmate commissary. Health care is provided at the Health Unit; medication is passed out at the cell front. Clergy contacts are provided at the cell.

            • I tried this link and it’s not working for me. Maybe it’s just my pc, it’s been acting up.

          • it can be allowed if asked as by a prosecutor, and aproved by a judge. For example a serial killer may be allowed a deal to do an interview as long as it is time delayed for content in exchange for giving the police information on themselves or their crimes.

Other than that, they would not be allowed outside communication other than letters and phone calls, IF they earn that. Many are not allowed phone calls. The judge can ask the prison board to not allow/ to allow these things.

          • And no, obviously we don’t kill people for talking, but when one has killed and has become eligibile for the death penalty because of it, I can see how someone would take that factor into consideration. Take for example the monster whom those 3 girls got free of a couple of weeks ago. I understand you are against the death penalty, but if you could play devil’s advocate for a moment and pretend that you are for it – would the possibility that he could continue his torment through letters from prison, phone calls, or any other creative ways, not be a factor to consider?

I’m sure you disagree, and that’s ok. But I could understand my family member’s point IF I believed what she does of JA. As I do not, I want Jodi to speak, and speak loudly!

            • fair question. I do not think that, for example, the fucker that had those 3 woman (4 Really, with the baby) should be put to death. I think he should be in a cell for the rest of his life.

His letters and other communication should be monitored for content, like all other MAX prison inmates. If he attempts to offend from prison, they will take that communication away.

Now, lets say, for example that was my child. Someone murdered them, raped them, etc… I would say i expect the courts to do the EXACT same thing as if it was anyones kid. the vicit is ALWAYS someones kid. However, that is what i expect from the system, not what i expect from myself. Lets just say that if anyone needed to be put to death i would use the system as a scape goat. i would have to decide for myself if they should die, and then i would have to take my own action if i thought that was needed…..lets be clear though, that would be for revenge….I dont want my court system for revenge. Revenge should be up to me…IF i had to.

                • Sirlips……………….. Do the math…………..How many prisioners are on death row in the United States? ( 3170 *60,000 a year to house them)… get where I am coming from….

How many of them do we know for sure are GUILTY 1000% ? Those are the ones that I don’t agree paying for with my tax money. Education in this country needs to be revamped, among many other things.

So your telling me that a terriorist like the ” Boston Bombers” should get a trial, plea bargain? We can agree to disagree……… But I totally disagree with this one.

Sandusky we know is is GUILTY
Cleveland man we know is GUILTY………. these are the cases I am referencing……..

                • I feel your frustration. Jodi was convicted in a kangaroo court while these other dudes are getting a slap on the wrist. WTF

                • MB,

Thank you for understanding my view……….. but a women gets the shit beat out of her in self-defense and gets M1………… and these other FUCKERS get special treatment……….!!!!

If the judical system did it right the first time we wouldn’t be wasting all this money on criminals……………..!!!! I would be outraged if I was a Boston citizen. Scumbag mom shoplifting at Lord and Taylor, collecting welfare money, and gets busted and runs back to Russian…. FK HER TOO>

                • FUJUAN,

Also, when you say “people we ‘know for sure’ are guilty”. Where does this new standard come from? In the eyes of the law EVERY SINGLE DEATHROW INMATE IS “1000%” guilty….even those 87 that were freed were “1000% guilty”..until the court say “oops”.

I would ask you, my friend, what is the difference in “guilty” and this “really really guilty?” Its the same thing in our court system.

I do understand the spirit of what you are saying thoe, for example if we have a video of the guy actually doing it….Or we have a statement from the offender admitting to actually doing it… Then we would “know for sure”. The problem is, thats STILL not true. For example 18 of the 87 freed deathrow inmates had given a confession! Yet, they did not actually do it. 1 For example gave a confession, was on video committing the crime, yet he was freed because of DNA evidence. It terns out the confession was coerced and the video was simply a video of “some black man” that had the same color shirt on, but the quality was extremely poor. We know 1,000,000% he DIDNT do it, yet by this “really really guilty standard” he would have been dragged out and shot in the street by sunday afternoon.

PLUS, FUJUAN, you still have not given me a real reason on why they need the death penalty, unless it is simply revenge. You suggested money, but i would HOPE that you are not serious that would should kill people (even if they did a very bad crime) for money…are you?

You may not think you should have to pay for these people to be in prison, but the only other option is to free them. Are you willing to let them walk the streets, to save a dime? OR, I suppose we could, like you said, kill’em quick and cheap, to save money.

So if money is the motivation, then why not knock off all the old people? they are just sitting there, wasting space, eating food that a starving child could have and wasting our money? Also, if they are homeless…we should just kill those people too! think of the burden on our economy they create. And those kids with the down syndrome? they arent make us more than they cost… OHHHH…wait, your saying they dont deserve this “money saving” death because they didnt do ANYTHING wrong. OK, then say that to the 87 freed inmates that were sentenced to death that also did nothing wrong. THEN, go to Death Row and use the magic “really really guilt wand” to also apologise to the inmates that are on deathrow now and are inoccent. I think we can both agree that the odds are VERY VERY slim that atleast one on the row isnt guilty.

1 inmate has been freed for every 7 we have put to death since 1976. I know i said it before, but think about that.

How many times would you drive your car if you had a 1 in 7 chance of it breaking down on the highway? How many times would you eat a Big Mac if 1 in 7 times it gave you food poisoning? 1 in 7 my friend. Not even close to the 1000% you speak of.

                • One last thing…your math, its not true. I know people like to throw around that 50k-70k a year to keep a prisoner in max prison, but simply, it isnt true. Its not even close.

That number was inflated from the cost the federal medical centers charge the government to house a max security patient for 1 year.

The real numbers for a life sentence max security prisoner is an average of just over $500,000 for the inmates lifetime…on average. So, if the average inmate was in prison for 30 years, thats only $16,666 a year to house them.

              • Why waste tax payers money on these kinds of people? When children are involved in crimes like this fk their rights, and str8 to death…….. these young girls are scared for life, and will have issues with men, trust, love, etc………..

Same with the men that rape young women, why let them have freedom in prison?

Even Jerry Sandusky should get the DP that slime ball S.O.B…………..

Terrorist …………automatic DP, no appeals…………………no plea bargains.

Do the math on the number of these types of people in prison, and see how much money we would save our country. It’s staggering.

                • First, we don’t let evil people win by tossing out the constitution. All people deserve a fair trial especially the really bad ones. A society can be judge not by how we treat the innocent but how we treat the guilty.

But, lets say we did agree on that part… What about the fact that we can’t even getter than 1 out of 7 of these cases right? 87 do inmates freed since 1976! That’s a lot of mistakes, now you suggest we take away the process that freed those 87 people?

Your am amazing person and I respect u, but I strongly disagree with u on this.

Until we are 100% sure and always get it right. We can kill innocent people just to be able to try and rush the guilty through the death squad.

      • Oh come on really? The family wanted the death penalty long before she came clean about Travis being an abuser.

She didn’t trash his name. She told the truth. If his character couldn’t stand the test of TRUTH then he didn’t have one in the first place.

You can say I said that too.

        • I agree.. I’ve said it myself over and over again. Closed eyes and ears.. don’t want to hear it, nothing I can do to change their mind.

          • Gosh and ain’t that the truth. I’m sort of lucky, my immediate family is rooting for Jodi the whole way but my extended family thinks she probably premeditated it. Although they don’t think there was enough evidence to convict her of M1 and that she should not get the DP, which is more reasonable than what we run across online sometimes. lol

            • I have had to pretty much stop discussing it with family members. They get angry, I get angrier. They don’t want to see or hear anything that deviates from the BS they are fed on HLN. I love them dearly, but no respect for their opinions on this.

        • TA family is just pissed off because they are all criminals themselves and always got caught and had to pay the price. This is pure revenge for their own actions ………..The judical system fucked them, so now lets fuck someone else ….. But in the meantime we are going to cash in on our dead brother, so we can pay our mortage, criminal fines, eat fancy steak dinners, hire three maids, and rent a house in AZ for 4+ months, but on the weekends we are going to CELEBRATE, going bowling, going to 80’s parties, bumper cars, bungee jumping, shopping trips, getting our nails done………….etc…..

Oh, and CASH Hughes is our BANKER………….LOL

          FK these people…..

          • Hi there FUJ . . wanted to add to some of what we were talking about . . “racketeering”. That will get’cha locked up once proven. You can take it from there

            • Hey Cb,

Yeppers, CASH is going down………. Someone is already calling in the Feds…

I saw a Twitter from CH tonight that he was out to dinner with Beth C. from InSession, Deanna, and his wife………….motive???? Shame on your Beth C.

              • He was with Beth? Oh damn.. . she was the very last person I had a shred of respect for because she has seemed to try to put forth some kind of -albeit hesitant – measure of unbiased analysis. Too bad, guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

                • Yep, just go to his twitter page and there is a photo of all of them tonight….

                • No,
Thought so too, but IMO she’s just like the rest.
Maybe she’s going to join the Mormons OR that peramid thingy!
                  Yep, she’s hooked.

          • I have seen people who have had family members or friends killed viciously, find some measure of kindness, humbleness, act appropriately, pray that what is God’s will will be done. Their grace is something that I have always found remarkable – especially those who go so far as to forgive.

TA’s family lacks any of these qualities, and as much as I would love to feel some sort of sympathy for them, their actions and words make it impossible for me to do so. Hopefully that doesn’t make me the cold heartless b some would say it does… but I just can’t help it.

            • I certainly wouldn’t say so. If you are, then so am I.

But then, that just means we identify with victims rather than abusers.

          • A few of the siblings need to watch their ass because they live in a “three strikes your out” state.
When I think of karma and these bastards, I think, “mmmuuuuhhhhhhahahahahahaha”!!

    • Privatized prisons, huge campaign funds for brewer, politics, religion, religion/politics, revenge vs. justice, the maggots have no value, power and money . . . I’ve refrained from saying this but . . what Jodi learned from her mentors during that time, she learned well. (grasshopper)

    • Fantastic Post!! But rehabilitation has never been given a real chance in our country. And there are so many restorative justice programs where people actually do learn to forgive their families or friends perpetrator even murderers. But regardless, you are exactly correct even the jurors should be held for premeditated murder! As you stated the “do as I say not as I do” is old school and we can see how much is wrong with our world due this old school of thought.

What gets me even still is I try and reason who commits a premeditated murder and why? and then compare it to who commits a heinous over kill and why? And usually this logical thinking alone tells me there was no self interest in it for Jodi to premeditate, no life insurance policy, no getting out of child support or alimony, no getting rid of my kids so this guy will date me, and if it was revenge it really backfired, most people want revenge but look to self interest first, mob hits are premeditated and may not have financial gain and though they do get revenge there is usually a gain too, like quieting a rat. Gangs might premeditate but its due to their culture to get even.

I cannot get past what Gus said when he said why not unload the gun. I thought the same thing, here you are just got done stabbing someone 27 times and you shot him only once really? Why not unload? Besides this is wrong any way it makes more sense to shot first otherwise wouldn’t they both have suffered more injuries. I am sorry but someone stabs me in the gut I am attacking the MF and if I am Travis size I think I can do some harm before I die.

      • And of course after she supposedly stabs him, in this awkward position, she decides to take a little break and let him mozy on over to the sink. Seriously… this whole theory put forth by JM was so convoluted and presposterous.

        • IKR!! unbelievable. And really holding a camera in one hand and a large knife in the other? I do not care if you are ambidextrous that is just awkward as the place she supposedly stabbed him. Makes ya wanna sell this jury some property dont it?

          • Lol… I commented that on a different post on here a couple weeks ago.. and if you’ll by that I’ll throw the golden gate in free!

But they bought it anyway. JM’s entire theory of how this went down is exactly what had me stop and start reconsidering this entire case, from the moment I started watching it. It does not logically add up. When you throw in that bizaar theory that holds no water, his twisting and lies with witnesses – not to mention complete disrespect – his attempts to withhold evidence from the defense (granted, the jury didn’t hear that part) his absurd attempts to make us think Jodi was a blonde before July 3rd, and sooooo many other aspects, I thought for sure at least 1 juror would hang this case in the guilt phase.

            • Oh and how he lied in opening statments about her having a camera strap on. The camera strap was still brand new with the box the camera came in.

              • Oh they would really like that Golden Gate for free LOL

See now I didnt even know he said that about the strap, I did not get to see all the trial and fell asleep on some of it and even I couldnt buy what they were selling with the missing info I had. I just had reasonable doubt and how they could not is beyond me.

                • Another BIG source of doubt for me was that she supposedly threw the camera in the washer to get rid of the evidence. No photographer would ever, EVER leave behind the single most important evidence tying themselves to a crime. That memory card would have been the first thing destroyed and out the door.

          • Those are ” SLASHES” on the back, slits not going deep , defense wounds………… if they were stab wounds, or someone attacking him from the back the wounds would of been DEEP, and str8……..not slanted…..! When your in a defense mode your going to use the hand your most comfortable with, which would of been her left hand, not right hand.

            • exactly and it seems possible to me that those superficial wounds could have been made lets say if he was on top of her and she was stabbing from beneath him, not while he is at the sink and she is behind him cause they would be deeper.

                • I know Ashley, how organized is it when you leave behind such crucial evidence. And if she did premeditate all this (which I sincerely doubt) she should go down as the dumbest criminal ever! today with crime shows up the yang yang, books on how to commit the perfect murder (an avid reader would be sure to seek this out before attempting on their own) and information at our finger tips, I think even a person with an IQ of 80 could have done a better job.

              • Penny,

BINGO…………Dave Hall, where’s your hunting knifes? It would take a super sharp knife to slit the neck……. and force. When you look at Jodi, and watch her tremble giving an ” impact statement” makes you wonder how she could of done all this to TA by herself…………..Whoever, you are , we will find you……………..!!!! The truth will be come to light, and be known…………Here that DAve Hall, Chris Hughes, Dustin Thompson, Zachary Bilings

                • Yeah that is very good point. I wonder why they didnt do an analysis on the knife that was used, or thought to be used. Something is very wrong with the whole thing. Poor Jodi 🙁 Night FUJuan see ya tomorrow

                • And Chris’s brother David Hughes. He knows more,
I think he may be staying away from the TV .
Not on as much as Chris, and I’ve ever seen his wife.

He heard about Travis before leaving for Cancun and told JVM they would
“discuss” it all together when they arrived in Cancun.

                  They sure did, didn’t they.
What about the girl that was supposed to go with Travis??
NONE of these people want us to believe that they found out the night that Travis died and was thee for 5 days.

  156. Oh wow I’m listening to Gus’ interview…

And there was NO WAY Travis could have changed the list to go to Cancun.

HLN? Are you there? Care to explain this discrepancy in your fake narrative?

    • I wonder of sleaze-bag Martinez hid the list from the DT in order to keep the jury from knowing that the travel plans were already sealed in well before June 4th 2008

      • know where I found about most evidence? here on this forum .. jm had pictures but we all can see those .. his prosecution attempt was nothing but commercial suggestions at best. I see ice cream on tv, ice cream activates my tastebuds. He kept up until he got people craving and buying commercials then brainwashed that sick psychosis with his grandstanding hammer. Once he got them, the jurors basically couldn’t get back in line. Not much else mattered .. murder=convict according to him . . why doesn’t count.

  157. Dear JUROR or Jurist who cannot in good conscience send a battered woman to death,

THANK YOU! HANG ON, DO NOT CONDEMN YOUR SOUL TO HELL AND LET THIS TRAVESITY HAPPEN. YOU WILL NEVER GET OVER IT. BE STRONG, OH PLEASE. IF YOU WRITE A BOOK SAYING, “:I WAS THE HUNG JUROR, I WILL BUY 10” STAY STRONG!
    patty

    • So would I.

I wonder how the dissenters are holding out. I hope there is not intimidation or bullying going on in that jury room, but I think there probably is.

Hang tough, we are behind you!!!

      • and on the outside like the grocery store, parking lot . . I know for a fact subliminal msgs are directed on elevator rides.

      • MB,

I believe there is bullying going on in that deliberation room…. I believe they are split… They don’t want to give her the DP, but they don’t want her to walk in 20 years. Also, some might be pissed knowing that if they give her the DP , it’s an automatic appeal paid by AZ…….. some of these jurors are older, and I can see this being issue with them.

Remember they are human, they are fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, and this is a huge decision for them that they will have to live with the rest of their lives…………IF they know the laws in AZ they know that this DP will be overturned, so why waste everyone’s time with the DP….. I am sure some have seen the interviews, and read more on this trial since they gave her M1 and are rehashing there decision…..Just my thought………

  158. Look at her former friend Abe talking about Jodi. He is so ugly. He is loving the attention he is getting on HLN. Probably never go so much attention in his life.

    • Abe is a complete JackA.. you can hear it while he’s talking to Nurmi in the hearing that I found on this site. If I remember correctly even TA didn’t like him, but because of Chris Hughes and whomever else he has fallen right in step with them.

  159. My life will be complete and I can die happy after I see those bastards on HLN eat crow!

    • Amen on that Aly,

I think if they cannot all agree Jodi should get the lessor ( 25 years, with time served, being released in 20 years) that is if she doesn’t win the appeal….

  160. I hate all the sensationalism on HLN. They just make a complete mockery of the justice system. Like Jodi says, “Noone believes me anyway no matter what I say.” I believe Travis mentally and physically abused Jodi.

  161. @ Aly, I’m not sure what would happen if another jury comes in. The jury is not supposed to listen to the media.

  162. When this is over how quickly do you all think the jury will be giving interviews?

    • I really thought the trial called for ll kinds of doubt,
then they came back with 1st.

      FUJaun,
THEY should because Jodi doesn’t deserve life in prison or the DP.
AND the judge intervertently left out something?????

      And Beth,
I agree, she was ABUSED by everyone after Travis also.
These people are just downright WORSE than hateful.
HOW can all of these idiots say NOW she was strange and scary.
They needed to put everyone on the stand and have them testify under oath.
      BTW, show their interviews.

      Trixels,
If they give Jodi the DP, they will be giving interviews real soon.
If life, I don’t think so.

I wish someone higher up would see the unjust in this trial and start disbarring, the just,
juan and the detective ( fire him)

There needs to be a full blown investigation into those people at that Mormon church and
the job that they try to pull others in, but MOSTLY I believe it’s the church.
Why the hell did the bishop have Travis password. Did he have everyone’s password?

  163. am pro life. i believe jodi is a murderer and that she should spend the rest of her Natural born life in prison. . i believe the jury has the God given right to go with itheir convention, whether it be life or death.

  164. . ALL I KNOW IS SHE going to prison. wootie whoooo. she is CONVICTED MURDERll
