    • Psssssst SJ! I want to be the first to wish you and your Greek Goddesses Happy Valentines Day!
Hope all of TEAM JODI has a wonderful and warm holiday weekend! Be Blessed Everyone!!!!!

      • Hi RL!
Happy Valentines Day to you too, and to all Jodi supporters.
The Greek Goddesses should be arriving shortly, lol.
        Have a great weekend!

        • SJ, I have visions of Pandora and Maria relaxing under their veranda eating their chocolates, sipping their wine and gazing upon the dozens of roses that you have
given them. Better take care of those beauties!

I suppose you will have to walk your 13 cats by yourself today while the girls relax. 🙂

      • R. Love hi!

Nice vision! I personally was travelling and didn’t get a chance to ‘celebrate’ valentines day sitting at my veranda and sipping my wine… 😉 BUT I did get to have a fantastic dinner with family and friends at this amazing tavern. We had seafood and wine and we went down memory lane remembering all the corky things we did as kids. It was a great get-together! 😉

As for SJ’s cats? We decided hiring a cat walker cause I was constantly whining about their heels slowing me down…

        • Good for you Pandora! Happy you were having a fun outing!!! You deserve it!
Those silly cats and their heels. . . geeez!

  1. According to the trial divas, the defense team filed two new motions today –

One is to keep testimony about Cassandra Collins’ BS out of testimony in the retrial.

The other is to keep any testimony about Jodi’s motion to fire Nurmi out of the retrial – adding that if testimony about that motion comes out at trial, her lawyers will have to withdraw from the case (because they would have to be witnesses with relevant perspectives on the assertions made in the motion)

    • That’s good Journee, at least we know they are working at it!! Hope Nurmi can take out his ugly statement about not liking Jodi most of the time! It is all so complicated! 🙁

        • Yes, R. Love – I did get my password. I just have nothing to say that I can’t say here! 🙂

          • I agree with you 100%, Journee. I didn’t ask for a password last spring or summer (whenever the rant room started) and haven’t asked for one now. I’ll say what I have to say on this site unless I’m banned. I have to admit though that I felt “left out” when people were discussing issues in the rant room. It felt like we split into 2 groups – an important one (the rant room) and the other less so. As a result, I cut back on my posts for months and began posting on Twitter several times a day. But, I still want to support this group b/c it is an important source of information and the atmosphere here was electric during Jodi’s trial. Plus, this group has remained steadfast in it’s loyal support of Jodi (as I have and will continue to do so).

            • coldcase53 and Journee, Please don’t feel left out at all!!!!! We just had a few concerns that needed to be addressed and we sure haven’t wanted anyone to feel unimportant or have hurt feelings. You both are very valuable to TEAM JODI!!!!! XOXOX

              • FACT: You guys are much more important than me because you both don’t forget anything and you were here long before me!!!! I love to read each and every one of your posts!!!! HUG and KISSES

            • Back in the day, there was probably good reason for the vent room – things were being said here which probably should not have been said in an open forum, plus some people felt the need to use language that others might find offensive. And I didn’t ask for a password then, either, until the week when everything got kinda weird and scary here.

When SJ suddenly revived the vent room recently, I was a little concerned that something was going on. I don’t visit the ‘hater’ sites and wondered if something was happening there that might, I dunno, pose a threat (for want of a better way of putting it). But it also came right on the heels of R. Love urgently trying to get ahold of SJ or the admins, so I thought maybe she had something she needed to convey to them privately. And it strikes me the vent room would be a good place for that.

But I do agree, coldcase, when all of a sudden ALL the posts were happening over there and no one was posting much else, it did kinda feel like there was a private party going on! And when I said something pouty about it, Rasna emailed to offer me the password, and I said “sure, I don’t like feeling left out!” And she sent it to me and I went to check it out, and they weren’t really talking about anything that they couldn’t have said here! So I haven’t bothered to post.

I’m glad it’s there, though. Because I do see where it could be useful and valuable.

              • Thanks, R. Love, for your kind words.

Journee, yes “private party” was how it felt.

Anyway, I had my say and won’t say anymore on this topic.

                Now back to supporting Jodi.

              • Hi Journee & coldcase53!

You’re right to a degree. When we started the first Vent page, nearly everyone started posting there. This time around we regularly mention in the page that it is strictly for messages & subjects that would be better kept private, and if it doesn’t fit in that category then it should be in the main public pages. We’re certainly not looking for a repeat of last time and are monitoring it closely for that reason.

                SJ
                Team Jodi

                • Thanks, SJ! – for the clarification as well as the vent page. I really do see the value of it, so I am glad it is there.

But most of all, I am grateful THIS page is here! 🙂

              • BTW, Journee, talking about “back in the day,” I often recall the songs of “The Grateful Dead” that Al used to play. Those songs set the tone for the day ahead. I wonder what ever happened to him? He sure could write a comment – detailed & precise. He seemed to have quite an understanding of the law, too.

                • I miss Al too! (I guess I am a doofus – I thought he really WAS Cindy Jewell’s brother– when Cindy resurfaced my first question was, ‘hey where is Al?)

I also miss AA (Also Abused) – she was a real asset to this site.

                • A couple of days ago, Maria and I were chatting and remembering the older posters. I hope they do come back once the trial restarts – or even sooner…

I also miss Janeen! She was funny and witty and was always a delight to read! Another couple of people I miss are JC and MB (the older admins – no disrespect to the new admins, you guys are great too!). And Sirlips was awesome! Too funny! AA (if I remember correctly) was our legal eagle… and oh so many more that I can’t remember right now.

              • Wouldn’t it be a simpler world if there was NO need for a Vent page? LOL.
Oh yeah… I remember the ”back in the days” era LOL. Feelings running high made it imperative that there was a private page where posters could feel safe, saying whatever they needed to express without fear of judgement.

As for old posters going away, I honestly have mixed feelings. I reckon there were the ones who got caught in the media frenzy and were here just to follow the mainstream and probably lost interest after the verdict was reached (I don’t miss those posters, I think Jodi needs people who will stand by her side and be in her corner for the years to come, till she gets real Justice) and the ones who were true supporters, insightful people with knowledge and/or expertise on legal, medical and DV matters who are truly missed. I would really really like to see them coming back.

If MB (for example) is reading this, I BEG her to come back. She was one of the greatest people I have ever met, a poster and admin whose posts I was looking forward to every day. She had contributed a great deal on this site and I’m sure was/is one of the people out there who honestly cared about Jodi.

            • Hey! Journee & Coldcase53,

You guys were here way before I started posting and back then I never asked for the vent page password either. I was a newbie and thought it was too soon for me to ask for sth that private. Plus, to be honest, I too didn’t have any venting to do then.

This time around, I did have a few things to say that I didn’t want the ‘greater public’ 😉 to read. There is no private party happening there.

I truely do respect both of you and am sorry you might have felt left out in any way.

    • I can’t believe ANYONE would take Cassabdra Collins serisuly. The woman is a nutjob and there are papaers to prove it. Martinez knows better than to call her as a witness.
I am REALY looking forward to hearing the rulings on these 2 particular motions. Pickles may be stupid but I think she will grant at least the one about Nurmi.

      • Maria,

Can you imagine the circus act if kermit was dumb enough to actually call ‘honey boo-boo’ as a witness??? He already is in deep waters with all the idiotic stunts he pulls in court in different trials… he knows better than to do something like that: he’d be ridiculed not only by the public but also by his collegues for using her as a witness in such a high profiled and serious trial…

Then again, martinez has proved to be a moron time and time again… what would keep him from being one, one more time..?

  2. Trial Day 19, Video 3, KN shows Jodi Exhibits 268 and 269 while questioning her about the rope. Exh. 269 is at 06:00.

KN refers to the rope as “smooth tannish rope”.

That is how EF described them to Jodi – as “tassels” – and as “tan” when he asked her about them in their i conversations by phone. He brought it up insistently. Later, on the witness stand, he is content to ASSUME that they are either from pillows or sandals.

Since the pillows and sandals would have been in plain sight when he showed up to investigate, why did EF question Jodi about tan tassels several times? And why was it one of his FIRST concerns when speaking with her? I have not seen photos of the pillows, but there is NO way those tassels match what was on the sandals. It was patently ridiculous for EF to suggest that they do

It makes no sense, either, that pillow tassels would have found their way clear across the house to the staircase.

    • That is a typo, above. I didn’t mean to imply that EF was showing pix of the tassels to Jodi via an iPhone.

      • Thank you, Maria.

I visited the wikispaces page. I disagree. He says that Jodi said that the rope was “green and gold”, and that discrepancy forms most of the basis for his not believing that these “tassels” (which is how EF accurately referred to them) are from the “decorative rope”.

First of all, to arrive at a definitive determination in evidence based upon the NAME of a color of anything is a mistake. People actually see colors differently, depending on the condition of their vision and the lighting available when they first identify it. They will ALSO identify shades of hues differently based upon their upbringing and how colors were identified to them as children. The MOST confusion I have observed with respect to color has always been in naming tan, gold, beige, taupe, grey, ochres & siennas.

The rope easily might have had both discretely green and gold (or tan) tassels. So, secondly, and in accordance with color theory, colors read differently depending on the colors against which they are juxtaposed. Bear in mind that an entire school of painting has been based upon this color theory: Rothko is one example among many.

So the tan could appear slightly more vibrant when seen against the green, depending on the particular hue of green in the rope.

Third, how would pillow tassels have reasonably landed in the bathroom? The pillows in the photos are seen from such a far distance, it’s impossible to know the texture of their tassels, or fringe, or to actually determine what comprises their borders. Many pillows of that type have a fringe that is much thinner and more crinkly than what is seen in Exhibits 268 and 269.

Jodi said on Day 19 of the trial, Video Part 3, “…he measured it out and cut it in the bathroom”.

This is exactly what she was NOT willing to admit to the detective during her initial phone call with him.

Finally, the wording on the wikispaces page could be construed as to suggest that Jodi herself brought the rope into the house, not merely that she took it with her when she left. She stated that he procured it because she had complained about scratchy twine in the past; hence his choice of a softer, “decorative rope”.

His “tying” fantasies are in evidence on the recorded phone call.

        • The green/gold/tan/khaki colors are also very changeable according to light. Years ago I had a friend who picked out an area rug in a store with a dark tan colored border – it was the last one they had in that size so the salesman rolled it up and loaded it in my friend’s car. We got it to the house, unrolled it in the room it was meant for – with daylight streaming through the windows – and the border was a soft mossy green color. Until the sun went down – then it was a tan border again.

A few years ago I had a corduroy blazer that was the same – brown under artificial light, olive green under natural light.

          • Yes, Journee – artificial light has its own color temperature that affects how the eye reads a color. And at lower light levels, the chroma is drastically reduced in many hues.

  3. Good evening to all Jodi supporters! However, could you please finalize for me if Jodi had a juvenile record? Talk later yall.

      • I was told that Jodi was arrested for growing marijuana in a tupperware container on the roof of her house. This information was from a Travis supporter though. Thanks Journee.

          • Ryan must be working on another Youtube video. He ripped Juan Martinez pretty good on a January 13, 2014 video about the kerosene can. I’m asuming it’s the same Ryan Jansen.

            • Thanks coldcase53! I am not working on a youtube video for Jodi at this moment, but there are more to come for sure. I love reading what you have to say. Team Jodi are the most entertaining commentors you could ask for.

          • I also heard this. . .no big deal IMO. I know it is not legal in most states but It grows wild in Nebraska. My husband used to go hunting there and he said it grew everywhere there. One of his friends thought it would be wonderful if they filled their pillowcases up and brought it back to TN, can you imagine?????? With our luck they would have been caught and thrown under the jail and law enforcement would have had our truck, trailer, dogs and guns and ammo. Needless to say they did NOT do it!!!! Of course, if it isn’t harvested correctly I don’t think anyone would want it so I’ve been told.

            • Pot was never my thing, but I don’t know anyone who’s smoked it who HASN’T tried to start their own plants at least once or twice.

              • It wasn’t my thing either Journee. . .not alcohol either for me. I always wanted to know what I was doing and where I was. The couple of times I drank I found myself sick. Vicks 44 is about as strong as I can go. Which reminds me did your Mom used to mix Whiskey, rock candy and honey when you were sick, mine did. ugh.
                I’m a real pansy!

        • I don’t think growing pot in a tupperware container when being a teenager is considered a felony… (rolling eyes… you know what way…). Statistics say that 98% of all people have -at least – once in their lives smoked pot. (who hasn’t watched ‘That 70’s show’)???

It’s the first I’ve heard of this. I am sure that a lot of haters will grasp on this and start rumors about Jodi, pretending to be super duper shocked. SMFH. It’s not as if she had a meth lab or anything, ffs!

The worse trouble she could have gotten in was having the tupperware police charge her with wrong use of tupperware containers… (rolling my eyes – AGAIN!).

          ((((the tupperware police))))

          • Hey there Pandora! So Jodi did get arrested for the marijuana in the tupperware container? Marjuana will be legal soon enough.

            • Her parents called the cops on her to scare her. But no, the police did not arrest a 14 year old girl for a little marijuana plant in a tupperware dish.

Consider this: Nurmi could not have stood up and said in his closing argument that Jodi had never been in trouble with the law before – even if a juvie record is sealed – if she HAD been arrested, because it would have opened the door for Martinez to SAY she’d been arrested. And he didn’t.

            • Ryan, hi!

I said that IF Jodi ever got in trouble it must have been by the TUPPERWARE POLICE: you know those guys that wear tupper bowls for helmets and have spatula’s as weapons and arrest you for using the wrong tupper for the wrong reason! — I was trying to be funny…

So ya, everything Journee said! Journee, thanks for getting things straightened up! ♥

  4. Good morning my cyber family,

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY!!! I was traveling yesterday and didn’t get a chance to log on til now.
I hope you all had a wonderful day!

    (((( ♥ ))))

  5. Happy Belated Valentine’s Day! How is everyone? Do we know when Jodi’s trial date is? Sorry I haven’t been around. Had to excuse my own attorney. A bad, lazy, dumb attorney can ruin people’s lives. There are too many of them out there. Then they end up being psychopathic. Just ranting.
Want all to know you are in my heart for Valentine’s Day and every day. I will check back to see if any one posts about dates or info. Remember we are Team Jodi and we Never, Never, Never, Never Give Up!
    Big Hugs xxoo

    • Marianne, hope you find a good attorney soon. Ya, the good and willing to fight for your case are rare… there are too many clueless attorneys out there: ONLY FOR THE MONEY…

      • Marianne, before you go with the next attorney, visit the office and make sure it’s organized properly, without files and documents all over the place, (and things getting lost). That tells you a lot.

  6. Good morning, everyone!

How are you? First, I’d like to begin by saying that I’ve got some very interesting news to report, but rather than discuss it here I posted about it on the VENT page. Whenever you get a chance, take a look at it and email me for additional information.

Second, I read a report yesterday that said two motions were filed recently by Jodi’s defense team to withhold information in a 15-page handwritten letter from the jury where she’s highly critical of Kirk Nurmi and to prevent news of her former cellmate Cassandra Collins from reaching the jury’s ears. Can anyone confirm this?
