    • Journee!!!!!!!!!!

You’re stealing my thunder!!! But oh…well….Congrats.

      😀 😀 😀

      • Thank you for missing me! I was trying to stay alive during the deep freeze here!!!! BRRRRR Looked like you guys were holding up the fort! 🙂

        • My furnace decided yesterday was a good time to take a break. Repairman managed to coax it back to life around mid-afternoon, but by then it was so cold in the house that it has taken until now to get it up to a balmy 61 degrees.

          • Boy, Journee we have so much in common! Things like that happen to me and then I think of our Jodi sitting in her little box and I feel blessed to be alive and free. 🙂

PS Did Lucy ever get a new friend?

            • I am on a waiting list with the breeder for a male and the last litter was all girls, so we are still waiting. I’m afraid Lucy will be set in her ways as the only dog and queen of the castle before a boy finally comes along.

              • Bless her heart! You can tell she is already royalty! Funny it was a litter with only girls! Hopefully she will get a new friend soon. Mine thinks he is doing fine as the one and only but he does enjoy it when his four legged friends come over.

  1. Why Why Why did Judge Pickles not request for Travis’s sisters and brother to vacate the courtroom. The drama little miss law enforcer was performing was beyond ridiculous! She knew better! Jodi’s family never carried on like them. They handled themselves just like they were ordered to by the court rules. BUT not Travis family!!! How could this go on in a court of law??????? It’s driving me crazy!!!!

Hand shaking, Smirks, fake smiling, and the rolling of the eyes. Brother looked like he has anger issues just like his brother Travis.. . glaring with hatred. SMH

    • I wasn’t crazy about the smirks, rolling of the eyes or glaring either, but unless they started having outbursts in court that derailed the trial, I didn’t have a problem with them being in the courtroom.

If anything, it showed the juxtaposition between them and Jodi’s family.

      • Jeff –

The camera that caught all the family’s behavior – it was next to the jury box, the ‘jury’s eye view’ of proceedings.

Every_single_time Samantha appeared to roll her eyes for the camera, guess who else she was looking at?

I didn’t have a problem with them BEING in the courtroom – I had a problem with the behavior of Samantha in particular, and with the fact that Stephens allowed it to go one throughout the trial.

I HAD a problem with it – but NOW I am hopeful that it is just one more thing that will get Jodi’s conviction overturned.

        • I think it’s a very strong point for appeal since all those facial expressions indicating either approval or disapproval of witness testimony, is in itself testimony, testimony that the defense never had a chance to cross-examine. That’s down right unconstitutional! The Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment (quoting Wikipedia) states that “in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right…to be confronted with the witnesses against him. Generally, the right is to have a face-to-face confrontation with witnesses who are offering testimonial evidence against the accused in the form of cross-examination during a trial.”

          • Also known as karma. You go around doing hurtful hateful things and it eventually comes around to bite you in the ass (even if you don’t know that’s what’s doing the biting.)

  2. David Camm’s story on Dateline NBC tonight. Camm was convicted of murdering his wife and two children TWICE before the third trial cleared him a few months ago.

      • Here’s my favorite part – when the interviewer (and I waited til the end of the show, hoping they’d say his name again, but they didn’t) pointed out to David that it is statistically a rare thing to have a capital murder conviction overturned on appeal, David interrupts and says it happened TWICE for him, and adds that anyone who lacks faith needs to look at this, ‘because THIS WAS A GOD THING’!

TWO TIMES they convicted him, as they have convicted Jodi, on MADE UP STORIES. Eventually the TRUTH set him FREE!

        • Oh, and another thing I liked was that expert they had for the third trial, talking about Bonet’s sweatshirt, complete with his nickname and his DNA, being a GIFT for the original investigators, one which they should have EMBRACED and and explored to its fullest potential. If they had just done THAT, REALLY done it instead of just saying they had, they’d have had the real murderer within two weeks of the crime. Instead they took 13 years and spent how many millions trying to lock up the wrong guy – EVEN AFTER they HAD Bonet, their egos wouldn’t let them let go of Camm.

Original investigators said the sweatshirt was ‘an artifact’ – something they could not explain by their theory of the crime.

Kinda like that bloody footprint. The ‘SoleMate’ software has been available to law enforcement for over a decade – they could have identified the shoe type and size within hours. They could have LOOKED FOR THE DAMN SHOE!

  3. Not sure if anyone saw it, but Travis’s friend Dave Hall was charged with one count of felony aiding and assisting in criminal mischief and could face up to 5 years in prison, $5k in fines restitution for damages to the state of Utah. This is related to him and another Boy Scout leader toppling an ancient rock formation and gleefully doing so while recording the event on video which they uploaded to YouTube.

For once, Dave Hall had no comment.

Now, I sincerely want both of these men to get a fair trial. However, it’s going to be pretty hard for them to defend because the alleged crime is caught on video. I mean, with all due respect, I always suspected that Dave Hall was never the sharpest tool in the shed. But this is one of the dumbest things that he or anyone else could do.

I have no use for this guy, Hall. I think he’s a vulture feasting on the carcass of Travis Alexander. This guy was on HLN almost every night last year showing his mug in front of the cameras as he exploited Travis and bashed Jodi Arias time and time again. Don’t think we’ll ever forget that, David. Oh, and on the YouTube video he was singing “Wiggle It” by 2 In A Room. I would ask what this guy has on his i-Pod, but it sounds to me that based on his music tastes that he’s probably still using his Walkman.

    I think this is karma.

    • IMO Dave is a good example of the type of people Travis Alexander hung around with.

      Karma is soooooo right!

      • For the record: This was a rock formation that had been there for 170 million years until Dave Hall came skipping along.

BTW: 5 years plus $5,000 fine sounds good to me 🙂
