    • Well…. the last words from AL… before he gets at her again….”If Ms Arias was a really good liar, she would’ve planned a really good lie….and she didnt ” EEEHAAAA.

        • The haters are now posting rancid, horrible, remarks on amazon on Ms. Laviolette books. These purely evil comments show how twisted people’s minds can be. I am vacationing in california, from Louisiana so don’t know how much I can do to comment on my dad’s computer. I feel we need to give support to Alyce on that website. Anybody with me.

    • i just want to say that i hope and pray jodi is acquitted based on the battered woman defense. but, i also want to say that i think the jodiisinnocent.com site needs to be careful not to become like the mob mentals’ sites seem, (so full of anger and vulgarity). the body bag was over the top, and now the message from this morning sounds like it could have been written by one of the mob mentals. there are many supporters of jodi who are offended, and rightly so, by the picture and the swear words. please don’t slam them as they leave the site because that’s just foolish. instead, please review the site and try to clean it up and raise the standards back up to where they were when you first created it.

      • LOL, you are lost again, Mad!

To stay on current pages, go to the TOP of the column on the right, where it says “RECENT POSTS” – the one at the top of the list will be the most recent.

  1. I am confused about something. Again, sorry I missed a lot of trial and joined in late. Did Travis like little boys or little girls? I thought people with that disease like one or the other, not both. Like Jerry S. only liked little boys.

    • Don’t know where you got that misconception from. Pedophiles can prefer and target children of one or both sexes.

      • Right. I always thought it did not matter which sex as long as they had not hit puberty and developed.

        • guess they are correct my brother was found out this year and he has never been married he is 58 now

        • or that if priests could marry.. .they wouldnt molest little boys… like thats gonna matter, they are pedophiles.. they like little boys. Marrying aint gonna matter..

    • Thats a good question. The inference, at least to me, has been he liked both little boys and girls. Doesn’t appear there has been a distinction made from the Defense. IMO

      • My take on it was that he was a hebephiliac, he liked prepubescent girls. His reference to 12 year old?

        • Except anymore 12 isn’t necessarily pre-pubescent. Girls are hitting puberty eariler and eariler now-a-days.

        • Average age of menses is 12 . . . puberty starts a year or two before menses and finishes in about as much time afterward.

Seems like he likes young . . . and it seems like he has a fetish for virginity, which is probably part of his attraction to young girls and even to anal sex as it can be sort of like “popping the cherry” every time.

      • I think he liked anything related to sex & pushing any and all boundaries to the point of being a sexual deviant.

    • Nancy Beth,

Vladimir Gagic still believes that Jodi deserves a fair trial. He still believes that Jodi has been overcharged with M1 and felony murder, and he believes there is no basis for it.

Vladimir Gagic was informed on Twitter of the picture of Travis in the body bag by some of his followers. As a result, he checked out the picture on his site. He requested that either his posts be taken down or the picture be removed.

SJ removed all of his posts. SJ was also always intending to take that picture down.

      • It’s amazing to me that a pic of a body bag stirs up all of this drama, yet HuffPo can post pictures of Travis’ rotting corpse on their main Crime page and no one blinks an eye.

          • No, he’s a criminal defense attorney from AZ who has given a lot of great insight on the case. He doesn’t feel that Jodi should ever have been charged with murder 1.

My HuffPo comment really wasn’t referring to Mr. Gagic’s reaction specifically, but addressed the haters in general reacting negatively to the body bag pic. I was just saying that HuffPo has posted WAY worse in plain view for all readers. I could have gone without ever seeing pictures of Travis’ dead body; that stuff gives me the creeps.

        • I don’t get this either – if crime scene photos of TA can be posted then it doesn’t seem to matter if this one is posted or not. I respect Gagic for not wanted any of them out there, but it would be impossible to keep those pics off of the internet.

          • Vladimir Gagic is likely not aware of those nude photos. He does not condone it from either side. It was the caption that stirred up the drama more than the picture, I think.

I think it is disgusting that JA haters post her naked pictures online. I also saw Travis’s naked pictures (unedited) posted by some of the same people who posted Jodi’s and found it just as distasteful.

Not everyone finds the Twitter account or the fact that Jodi’s pictures are being splashed around acceptable. The media just does not cover anyone who vocalizes support for Jodi. Only difference.

                • MB, I am sorry if you think I came across as unfriendly. I was sort of replying to Kira’s comment too, and I guess I hit reply to the wrong thing. I reference Vlad again because I initially referenced him in my first post.

I definitely did not intend to come across as unfriendly. I was merely stating that there are people who do not like the fact that Jodi is being humiliated but the media does not cover that because they are hellbent on making Jodi look bad.

I guess it is a lot harder in written word to convey how I mean to come across. But if this was a face to face conversation, you’d be able to see that I definitely did not mean to come across that way 🙂

                  😀

          • good one cant do something here but let them run amuck on the other site and get away with it just like JM and Flores is going letting out video’s and journals ect O MY GOD 🙂

            • I agree I am about sick of this crap where it is A OK for anyone to
bash an disgrace Jodi or her family or anyone that has a different
look about this case. Or see’s Travis for what he was not as a
freaking Saintly Mormon Man which is far from the truth.

There is a big difference on this site though as there are a few
comments sometimes maybe rough but nothing like that I see
on the Travis support site/Taliban not even close. Why can’t anyone
see that but us? all they have to do is read further than the
first 2 comments on a page.

            • Ooh good point.

Jodi’s journals released for the world to see.

              Interrogation videos of her parents.

Who knows what else will be released. But they shouldn’t pick and choose who can post what, should they?

          • Just thinking the same thing MB! Since Mr. Gagic is so concerned with this pick, I hope he tweets the hundreds of hater sites posting the most disgusting and dispicable things. I surely hope SJ has no intention of taking this down. Especially since I went on such a rant about how important seeing this is. 🙂

            • Attn:
Vlad states in his tweets that he is banned from this site. He states that he wants EVERYTHING that associates his name to this site REMOVED (I still see him listed, I’m sure the admins will get that taken care of asap) He seems quite perturbed ….Whatever! I think we may have been the only ones listening to his radio talk show, I wasn’t impressed by him (my opinion)…thought he had a good point about the crime being overcharged…but that “point” wasn’t extensive enough for a full radio talk show time slot and didn’t generate enough interest. He should stick to the written word…In my opinion he isn’t cut out for radio. (dry toast comes to mind)

There was someone tweeting Vlad AND pitchfork as well, telling them to get off this site. That person also asked if Vlad could do anything/knew of a way to remove this site and mark it as spam. He said he didn’t…Someone is on a campaign to shut this site down.

      • Ya think Vlad was a bit hasty? I wonder if he read the post that went with the pic…??? Probably not…

        • I took gagic off my tweet list because of that.

I don’t see him getting upset about all the nasty pictures of Jodi and the gruesome pictures of travis in the media.

He basically caved to all the haters because they were now targeting him.

          • Well he wasn’t that interesting on the “radio”..but that is my opinion…only one of his callers sounded like she made sense and she was far more interesting than he was… He should stick to writing, that’s just my opinion.

            • I don’t mean to be rude but … um … Couldn’t you guys tell what he thought/felt from his radio shows? Didn’t you guys listen? Did you guys read his comments? He thought she should have been charged with murder two. He thought the evidence was overwhelming. He let hater after hater post the most foul comments on his site and he thanked them for their comments. He didn’t want anyone with legal knowledge calling into his shows unless they were his lawyer friends. The writing was pretty much on the wall. He did this for some publicity. He got some.

              • He technically said that murder 2 should have been the TOP charge and that murder 1 was ridiculous. I don’t read the comments on his site so I have no insight on that.

              • AlsoAbused,
I listened to two of his broadcasts…I agree with him that this case was overcharged and that that point was…a good one. Today he states on his tweets that he does not want to be associated to this site in any way, anymore; everything associated with his name REMOVED. He tweeted that he has been blocked from accessing this site. The person who drew his attention to the photo that was up this morning ALSO tweeted pitchfork and tried to get pitchfork to disassociating himself with this site as well. She also asked Vlad about having this site marked as spam…Evidently Vlad didn’t read the post that went along with that photo so he jumped to conclusions… Evidently his primary goal is to stay impartial, if he feels disassociating with this site is the ethical thing to do, well, he should be respected for that. I highly doubt he will bash this site, he seems too professional to stoop to that level. I wish him well.

    • He was of his father and third wife…his mother. I believe he has older sibling from another mother…same father.

    • I think he had two older half-brothers…one is the jerk who stole his identity when he was arrested.

  2. Another 30 minutes before they start……that means another hour in Pickle’s world!!!!

  3. Jennifer willmott and Alyce Laviolette are the Queens of the Universe!!!!
Job well done ladies, JM must be enjoying his non organic chock full of
gluten Crow sandwich for lunch today
    Carry on

  4. A Nancy DisGrace clip was just aired on HLN: one of Travis’s friends, Aubrey, a blonde girl, who said something like: “Travis was always driving over a pothole or had some type of stalker. When he found out Jodi slashed his tires, blah blah blah.”

    Questions:
    1) Why does the repulsive HLN court of public opinion keep taking hearsay comments from Travis’s Stepford Clique as hard evidence?

    2) Aside from Mimi Hall testifying that: “Travis ‘felt’ it was Jodi who slashed his tires…” was it ever proven?

This is ridiculous! The typical cheating male, (we all know one these days) tells the women that catch him in his lies:
    “You need help!”
    “You’re a psycho!”
To the woman he’s with when the used woman catches him cheating:
    “She’s stalking me – I can’t get rid of her! She’s crazy!”

Why do so many women just shrug and chuckle on HLN stating: “Travis was just a young man. His sexual persistence is expected.” or “This is how relationships are these days.”

What happened to picking a girl up at her parents’ house, meeting them and treating her like a lady? Today’s society….it’s so sad and hedonistic. We need to change.

Sorry I went off on a tangent – can anyone answer about the tire slashing?

        • I think Lisa Andrews’ ex-boyfriend sent the threatening e-mail AND slashed the tires, and I think Flores knows it. Just my opinion.

          • I still say where are the photos of SLASHED TIRES? who would tell
friends they have a stalker an not POST the photos everyone posts
            that crap now a days.

An I still truly believe if there were actually slashed tires ? Travis
did it himself to make LISA the ‘VIRGIN’ so scared he got to creep
into her bed for the night. She asked him to spend the night because
she was so frightened of the stalker out there. Come on ! great ploy
            for Travis !

            • He called the police once allegedly, but they took too long to come, so he didn’t wait around for them! There have been no photos of the slashed tires. There have been no receipts of the purchase of new tires. Tires are EXPENSIVE. He never accused Jodi in a text, email or IM of slashing his tires. Puh-leeze. What a crock!

              • AA, I heard that too, but my question has always been, how could he leave if his tires were slashed? Did he have spares? I believe if hln could find the person who replaced all those tires, they would have had that person on in a heartbeat!!

                • If his tires WERE ever slashed, why didn’t juan ask Jodi about it while she was on the stand? Always slashing tires is something to worry about.

juan didn’t ask Jodi in cross and neither did the jury in their questions.

And like AA said why not ask about receipts AND have the ONE girl that said it on 911 testify to it?

I EVEN heard one of the talking heads say that Jodi used the same knife that she used on the tires to stab Travis.

I actually don’t know WHY these idiots don’t have to testify under oath that they know this happened.

They show a knife in pictures, but it WASN’T the weapon. Someone even said it was a pocket knife.
These liars on TV can get by with ANY lie and they call Jodi the liar????
                  Bullshit!

      • That’s exactly what I thought.

Love how Dr. Drew, Nancy DisGrace, Jane Valez-Mitchell and Vinnie Politan keep stating it as if fact.
        Jodi wasn’t a stalker either.

Has anyone read ‘Gone Girl’ by Gillian Flynn? Flynn heavily mocks Nancy DisGrace with her character, Ellen Abbott, going to say this ‘character’ cheated on her husband.
How can Americans love a former prosecutor who exaggerated and LIED about the way her fiancée was murdered and then bank a huge career off his death?!

One Rolling Stone journalist wrote, “That one hour taken on cable television would be better spent in a psychiatrist’s office.” He deserves a Pulitzer for that one. 😉

        • I stopped watching the hln hood rats back a bit. Before I stopped completely one of them was commenting, with such disgust, how the jury was not hearing about JA slashing the tires and said this is terrible given she sashed his neck – implying a direct connection.

          • I’ve had to watch a bit of HLN this evening. My iPhone battery died and when I got home at 7:05, I discovered my speakers aren’t working on my PC, so I turned on the BS channel. UGH! Here I am at 8:30 and they’re STILL not finished with the juror questions which ended an hour ago. The commercial breaks, the commentary, it’s driving me CRAZY! At least DisGrace isn’t on, but even still.

            • AA,
UGH, is right. They make me sick.
I found a great way to watch it on Direct TV.
We have you Tube. It’s really great, mostly because I don’t
have to hear the crock talkers. They make me sick.

The trial stsrted running over into the TABLOID shows. One was enough. JVM had mostly commentary BS and commercials. BAD pictures that she had no reason to show,
I just fast forwarded them. I don’t want to see them. They were meant to be in private, not for the world to see.
AND I refuse to go on into ND And DD!!! WOW. Hate and LIES!!!

Anyway You Tube has all of it without the Tabloid crap.
I flat cannot handle that much hate.

      • Exactly, Cindy!

If Jodi was such a threat, like SMS JM paints, why didn’t Travis write about it in his journals or call the police?
Because he was screwing and lying to so many women, he couldn’t figure out which one did it.

My theory – Travis slashed his own tires to make it seem as if he had a stalker. His Stepford Clique may have been on to his lies (i.e., Chris and Sky Hughes) so he had to make it seem like Jodi was stalking him instead of allowing anyone to discover his sordid double life.

        • I’d believe there were many who didn’t like TA. Family of the ladies he wooed or work associations that he ticked off.

He was very unflattering to some of the folks mentioned on the sex tape – Abe being one – though we hear Jodi sticking up for Abe and how Abe hopes TA gets the big fancy ring.

It could have been an ex roommate of his who had a beef with him.He had one roommate who supposedly moved out in a huff.

It could have been a random act of vandalism and he was hit twice.

        • MentalHealthForShortManSyndrome Exactly how I think on that too !! good to see
another that can see through the BULL CRAP of TRAVIS.

      • No proof either so far that any tire got slashed once, or twice, no new tires receipts, no police reports, no one to tell who helped him tow or fix the car, nothing as far as I heard. Maybe he found a divine message under the windshield wiper ‘your tires have been slashed’, believed it and told others the good news.

    • Nope there was 0 prove that Jodi slashed the tires. Det Flores even said there was no evidence so I am not sure why they keep saying that. The information that she did it came from Travis’ lying mouth. He told many in his group that she did it and they will not stop talking about it.

      • I wish that the defense would get Flores on the stand for one question.
Was there any evidence Jodi ever slashed Travis’s tires.

The ask the girl that called 911 to testify that you said a girl that you
suspected killed Travis was slashing his tires?
Do you know who that was?

    • Stepford Clique…had a good lol at that one 🙂

No it was never proven that Jodi did any of the things Travis accused her of. The allegations of the tire slashing, emails, ect were never proven.

  5. I just saw on Twitter that they are in with Judge due to some inappropriate questions for Alyce. They made fun of her or something.

  6. NOT FIRST!!!! NOT SECOND!!! NOT EIGHTEENTH!!!!!
Thank you MB…I would have been on the morning session thread for at least…20 more minutes LOL! Why can’t I be on the ball here? If I was EVER FIRST I think I might have a heart attack…at least I would think for sure I was in the wrong place…

  7. Does Jodi get messages people leave on her Twitter? I would leave a message but don’t know if its true or not Twitter account.

    • Her friend is apparently running it for her. She is not allowed to tweet from jail. Her friend calls her and they discuss what to tweet.

  8. Okay, Watched video of Jen and ALV this morning. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! That’s how it’s supposed to be done. *Standing Ovation*

Okay, Jurors’ question are next, right? Oh, boy. What drink should I make? Vote “Butterfinger” for Vodka Cranberry or “Plinko” for Lemon Drop Cocktail.

  9. Is that true – that some juror’s questions to ALV were ‘inappropriate?’ If so – is that yet another mistrial issue?

      • There is speculation that there were questions regarding ALV’s sexual orientation and using terms such as “man-hater”. Travistown Taliban, I’m sure.

        • I highly doubt that the jurors are stupid enough to question Alyce about her personal life/orientation. Unless there’s one really big asshole on the jury.

Either way, both the defense and the prosecution would get those questions tossed.

          • Certainly the judge would toss them, you THINK???
To me there wasn’t any real great questions about the trial.
Just wasting time and then juan will be back up there for days.

      • Comment above from ‘finishtouch’ says; “I just saw on Twitter that they are in with Judge due to some inappropriate questions for Alyce. They made fun of her or something.”

I’m wondering if that could be true – how would anyone even have that info already?

        • I think that is totally grounds for a mistrial, it makes the jury look as if they are not taking their duty seriously, and this is a Muder One trial, there is no reason for humor especially about an expert witness.

    • Is the question to Jodi about the definition of a “skank” wasn’t deeded inappropriate, I’d hate to think what questions Alyce got.

    • Gosh, I think we’d have to wait and see :/

But I am not sure how anyone would know what the juror questions say yet! :/ Speculation ?

  10. The seal again?? They were just standing for the jury and it went to the seal. WTF??????

  11. How come the defense can’t use Chad Perkins comment (below) in the discussion of whether there were any signs Travis had pedophile tendencies. The prosecutor used Jodi’s statement: They’ll never convict me – or whatever it was from a TV program, didn’t he? I imagine this question has been asked before. If so, sorry.

    Chad Perkins
Twas two nights before Christmas, and all through the greater Phoenix area, Travis was cruising for underage boys to make his Christmas more cozy. Have fun, just don’t violate the terms of your probation!

    • I always wondered that myself since it was on MySpace and is public domain… right?

      • It was posted on TA’s MySpace page and maybe in and of itself would not be so important… but put with the ‘big picture’ it does paint a fuller picture of an abuser. I mean, my friends and I talk smack to each other all the time but we would never say anything like that!

    • Yes, I have wondered that too. Perhaps they didn’t need Chad’s testimony about that comment because there was enough corroborative evidence to support Jodi’s testimony?

  12. WildAboutTrial @WildAboutTrial

Counsel as well as Samantha and Travis’ brother and #JodiArias are called back to chambers. Stay tuned.

  13. I just posted to Vladmir that I was sorry to see he was no longer going to post on here. I really appreciated his point of view on the legal process, but I agreed with SJ and the post today. He responded “thank you”. So thats that…now the haters are jumping on his bandwagon, I hope they understand he doesn’t feel Jodi should get the death penalty. They will turn on him, I guess he will find out…
With that, I can’t understand how everyone is up in arms about an evidence photo, since they’ve been splashed all over hell and gone, since the start of this trial. While they blaster horrific intimate photo’s of Jodi for their own sick pleasure, and it appears that no one says a word. Such a double standard, but what else would we expect.
SJ, I support you, that post this morning, and where your coming from. I think its really hard for people to admit the truth here, that Travis was an ABUSER, and maybe, just maybe, he got what he deserved. Albeit, I do not condone violence, but if it was going to be Jodi, or Travis, I’m glad it turned out the way it did.

      • SJ –
Please tell me you are not going to take it down, as was mentioned here previously. you have the support of rational people here to keep it there.

        • Hi TR,
No, I took it down earlier. It served its purpose. All is well.

          SJ
          Team Jodi

          • you are being the bigger person. now what can be done about the horrible pic of jodi on twitter? couldn’t jodi, (or donovan,) at least block him so we don’t have to see it when we go to her twitter page? it’s really upsetting to think that jodi ever sees it.

          • I’m sure it was the accompanying commentary. Vlad seems very “peach love and understanding” to me. The comment was extremely evocative. SJ, you have your agenda and he has his. In the Venn diagram of this case, there was with him intersection, but not total mutuality. It is sad when synergy can’t be sustained, but understandable when our interests are not 100% aligned.
As an aside, I had noticed a little creep (no pun intended, really) in the past couple of days if truth be known. Or maybe it was just hedging.

    • Travistown won’t align with Vlad for long. He is not impressed with Martinez at all and does not think that Jodi is guilty of murder 1.

    • Thank you, Melvin for posting a msg for Vladimir. I ALSO LIKE HIM and have listened to all his JA talk shows. I probably still will, but if he starts badmouthing this site, ill turn it off. I don’t think he will though, he doesnt seem like that type of person.

Just wanted to let you know that I feel what your saying. Thanks

    • This sums it up, Melvis, thank you.

There’s been double standards since the beginning. Travis Taliban can be outraged, but we cannot. Travis Taliban can post pictures of whatever they want, but we cannot. Travis Taliban can set up fund raisers for family, but we cannot. Travis Taliban can say whatever they want, but we cannot. The list goes on and on.

It really is disgusting, and just as much double standards as Travis himself had when he was alive. But what can we expect from the people who adore Travis? Nothing less than the same abusive, manipulative bullshit Travis pulled when he was alive.

      • I agree. Double standards even about the whole issue of sex.

Jodi was a whore for having sex, but Travis was “a man being a man”

Seriously? And I thought women’s rights were supposed to have come further than that.

        • Oh definitely! Americans tell each other how great we are, but it’s situations like this that show exactly where we really stand. We’re supposed to be better than this, we are supposed to be the model for women’s rights around the world. If we were to live up to that model, Jodi’s trial wouldn’t nearly be as slanted in the media as it is.

The sexism in this case really bothers me too. Yes, the double standard that Jodi is a whore and Travis is a stud says that we’ve got a long way to go. Plus, there was the idea floated around that just because Jodi consented once to anal sex, that must mean she consents every time thereafter. That’s the Madonna/whore complex rearing it’s ugly head for sure.

      • exactly Mb….and someone has to stand up and say bullshit!! And thats what that post did, and they can’t take it. Oh well, wah wah right….lol
And your welcome SJ, and thank you for being so brave to post what most of us believed from the start! BRAVO!!!

        • Yes, SJ doesn’t pull punches does he? 🙂

It’s just pitiful that the haters spew so much venom and bile, yet get all prissy when SJ posts a picture that is otherwise tame compared to what’s been put out there. Talk about selective squeamishness!

      • Yes, they have been before with other juror questions. I don’t know why they alllow that, but they do.

        • the family of the “victim,” (in this case, the state calls them the alexanders,) gets to be anywhere the defendant is. if jodi is there, the alexanders are allowed by arizona stupid law.

          • So, the Alexander family get to hear the juror questions first?

I didn’t get why they asked her why she looked to the left or why she might have smiled once at Jodi. In fact It was so minute I didn’t even see it.

The Alexander girl was crying like crazy when Alyce was testifying and I thought what the hell.
It had nothing really to do about anything big.
Maybe she had a question put in there and got busted.

    • HHHMMMMM- A lot of TA Peeps in with AL today. I would think the “supposed issue” of AL making a comment to SA would have been resolved by now. Perhaps they have tied the family to the bulk of AL’s harassment.

      • If it is about the harassment AL have been receiving, maybe the Judge know the family has the means to ask their supporters to stop because it could hurt the trial.

        • Actually, you have a good point there. The TA family could actually help make a difference with some of the trashing of JA and the defense Team and witnesses. Not all of the loonies out there, but it would help, IMO.

      • Actually I think something has been said, WS has taken down all inappropriate comments about ALV and have posted to everyone, no more hate speech comments directed towards ALV or people will start getting banned.

  14. MB, (reposting this here in case you missed it, because I’d really like to clear the air)

I am sorry if you think I came across as unfriendly.

      • bahaha, I agree. And I always prefer face to face conversation when it comes to passionate discussions because written text conveys no emotion and it is hard to tell whether someone is being sincere or sarcastic or whatever.

      • That’s definite Renee’! We should remember though that passions and emotions should not get the better of ourselves as well.:-)

      • do you lose sleep over this too? i totally do. and i feel like i’m under great anxiety whenever juan is talking and i’m okay if it’s jennifer. me thinks i’m in a little too deep.

  15. This is getting ridiculous. If what the guy on Twitter posted is true, then there is a real problem.

The judge SHOULD have sequestered the jury when KN asked for it!

        • something about them being in chambers because of juror questions that made fun of AL

      • Posted there was speculation that there was an issue with jury questions. Supposedly inappropriate questions maybe making fun of AL or questioning her sexuality or maybe implying “man-hater”.
Its probably BS since there is no way anyone would know that (shouldn’t know it, but with this circus who knows anymore 🙂 ).

  16. I can’t imagine that at this stage of the trial the jury would be handing in inappropriate questions r/e: questions that make fun of an expert witness. That would be just sad. But then again after weeks of what most of us find inappropriate conversations for polite society (e.g., ass f*****g, poprock blow jobs, and “cream pies”) who know how their poor minds have been twisted.

  17. Here is a question REGARDLESS of DV or not ( which I believe) , doesn’t every human being have a right to protect their own life when you are in fear of someone else threatening and showing their ability to attempt to take your life or you believed your life was in danger?

    • They absolutely do and the law allows for it.

The problem is that when you do claim self defense you have to make some sort of representation of the fact that it is remotely possible. If you had a witness that would be one thing. If not, then every person charged with murder could claim self defense and now, in AZ, the prosecutor would have to first prove it wasn’t. So, when you make a claim, actually pretty much any claim in court, you must have some evidence to back up the fact that there is at least a probable cause to back up your claim. This is the same as why the prosecution has to go through various probable cause hearings.

So when a person claims self defense, and there are no other witnesses the judge will definitely make you do at least two things. Firstly they will make you claim it from the stand, so there goes your fifth amendment privilege, and secondly they will make you proffer some kind of evidence that shows that it is at least possible that you have a valid claim of self defense. That is why Jodi had to testify in this case, and that is why the DV expert’s testimony is required. JA had to testify to be able to present the self defense claim, and the DV person provides the probable cause.

      • I’m sorry Al, but I don’t believe a judge can “make” a defendant take the stand in order to claim self-defense, NOT EVEN IN AZ. Jodi did NOT have to testify. It was her right NOT to testify. However, it would have been extremely difficult to put on a self defense case in this instance WITHOUT her testimony since there were only two people present during the killing.

        • No she didn’t. You are correct. But had she not taken the stand, the experts would not have been able to discuss her.

        • And I don’t know how they would have entered the self defense claim. Remember the attorneys can’t testify, no one else can say she told someone, since that would be hearsay, so it would have to come from someone she directly reported it to other than her attorneys. It could be a cell mate or someone like that, or they would have only two options:

          1. She would have to claim it to the authorities, e.g. the police
          2. She would have to testify.

But I’m sure the judge would ask for a foundation laid for a claim to self defense.

          • Tactically, she had to testify in THIS case, but she did not have any legal obligation to testify and a judge could NOT have forced her to (nor any other defendant). It’s important to understand that difference. If any of us here are ever in a situation where we have to plead self defense, we need to understand that.

Evidence regarding Travis’s character could have been offered outside of the jury’s hearing to support the plea. Such character evidence (turbulent and dangerous disposition) is relevant to show the fear of the defendant (state of mind), which all goes to foundation. In this case, the only real evidence of Travis’s character and prior violent acts was found in messages between them. In order to introduce them, Jodi had to testify because she was the only person affected by his overt acts. He led a double life, after all. She was the only person who could lay that foundation and testify as to her knowledge of his nature, which therefore, left her in extreme fear.

It may have been possible to present evidence without Jodi testifying (through the experts) but it would have been difficult and not as much would have been brought into evidence. Therefore, tactically, having Jodi testify was a necessary risk.

But again, it was not a legal requirement or something the judge could have enforced.

        • Jodi had to take the stand a Lawyer who defended a client against Martinez it was the Doug guy another Mormon issue in this case Martinez was looking for 1 st degree this lawyer was very nice and had good criticisms of Martinez Jodi had to take the stand because of her other stories and she was the only witness. Most Lawyers believe she had to testify.

          • She didn’t have to take the stand at all. It has to do with the Fifth Amendment.

            It’s strictly optional.

The burden of proof is on the prosecution, but who knows with this jury judging from those questions that were clearly cribbed from HLN?

            • tonysam

No! she lied then finally admitted to murdering him it is completely different then Casey OJ etc. Every experienced Lawyer stated they had to put her on the stand since, she was the only witness that day, Casey Anthony’s Lawyer stated this and many many others. She was the only witness and they are trying to save her life. The Judge should have sequestered the jury. Jodi was a good Witness. I thnk she stood up well to Martinez, the problem is the Media and also other factors. Such as the LDS Lynch MOB that has NEVER RESPECTED OUR CONSTITUTION. This CULT has much to do with the smear campaign as demonstrated on AMAZON,

    • I believe so. How the law defines it can be tricky. Some states require retreat, and only authorizes deadly force if retreat is not possible (i.e. one is in their own home, cornered, ect). Other states have a stand your ground law where that when one is confronted with a threat deadly force can be used.

IMO self preservation is a fundamental law of nature. Everyone has a right to protect their own existence.

      • Thanks MB and Al I understood all that, it just to me self defense is self defense. But you must prove your Reason for self defense.

        • It’s a little mor or less than that depending on what state you’re in. So in some states (not AZ) self defense is what’s called an affirmative defense. In such cases you are right. The defense must prove self defense beyond a reasonable doubt. In other cases such as AZ, self defense is not an affirmative defense. So the defense doesn’t have to prove anything. The prosecutor has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. However, any claim of self defense probably needs some reasonable probability of being valid. Otherwise no jury is going to believe it. So what the DV does in this case is provide that argument. Basically she tells the jury that TA was abusive, that the kind of behavior she sees in him leads to violence, and hence it is likely that TA was violent with Jodi.

I am also reasonably sure that before a judge allows you to raise a self defense claim, she is going to want to see some reasonableness in that claim. The bar would probably be very low and way below proof of any kind, however one would have to make some proffer to show that the claim is at least probable. Otherwise, like I said, every murderer would just say, I did it in self defense, now Mr prosecutor, prove I didn’t.

          • SOME evidence of self defense IS required in AZ, from everything I’ve read. It’s up to the judge to determine what is considered “some evidence” however, the standard is very low. It is the responsibility of the prosecution to disprove it. In AZ, State v. King, a 2010 case, essentially set the new standard for self defense by overruling previous cases which required a defendant to act in self defense solely on fear of imminent harm.

To be clear, however, per the jury instruction that will be given, two conditions MUST be met in order for self defense to be met:

“1. A reasonable person in the situation would have believed that physical force was immediately necessary to protect against another’s use or apparent attempted or
threatened use of unlawful physical force; AND

            2. The defendant used or threatened no more physical force than would have appeared necessary to a reasonable person in the situation.”

NOTE: I do believe this is slightly modified in the case of battered women.

#2 may be very very problematic for the jury in Jodi’s case. The amount of physical force (the throat slashing) is far more than it would seem is “necessary”.

Paraphrasing from the jury instruction: While deadly physical force may be used to protect against another’s use or apparent attempted or threatened use of deadly physical force, self defense ONLY justifies the use or threat of physical force or deadly physical force while the apparent danger continues, and the justification for self defense ends when the apparent danger ends. Further, the force used may NOT be greater than reasonably necessary to defend against the apparent danger.

And here is where a MAJOR problem lays in Jodi’s case. Taking the above at its root, when Travis was attacking Jodi, lunging at her like a linebacker, Jodi was justified in reaching for the gun and pointing it at him. She was EVEN justified in pulling the trigger. Why? Well, he was attacking her, and also, he had choked her previously to the point of unconsciousness. Therefore, she was in grave fear of him.

The instruction defines that if a reasonable person in the situation would have reasonably believed that immediate physical danger appeared to be present, then it’s justified. It also clarifies that ACTUAL danger is not necessary. Only a reasonable belief of danger by a reasonable person.

But Jodi’s memory stops there. At least most of us here assume that after he was shot with a wimpy gun, Travis became even angrier and attacked Jodi further. We have had all sorts of discussions about how and why she stabbed him.

But the bottom line is: there’s been NO evidence (and remember, testimony IS evidence), not from Jodi or anyone else, that the “reasonable belief of danger” continued from that point on, thereby justifying further force. NONE.

Without Jodi remembering, there’s really no way to put on such evidence. Perhaps a different medical examiner would have come to the conclusion that the gun shot wound came FIRST, and could have made Travis even angrier and attack further. Even though that wouldn’t have been actual evidence of what transpired after Jodi’s memory stopped recording, hypotheticals could have been posed to create a possible scenario. But that didn’t happen. Why? Perhaps the defense team had such an expert lined up until JM changed the sequence, placing the gun shot wound last.

The jury has to decide first, either:

            A. Whether a reasonable person in a similar situation would believe physical force was immediately necessary to protect against another’s use of unlawful physical force.

            OR

            B. The jury has to MEASURE the defendant’s belief against what a reasonable person in the situation would have believed.

They may well decide either of those in regards to the gun.

But the jury instruction is much more complicated and explains when physical force is NOT justified.

            1. In response to verbal provocation alone; or

            2. If the defendant provoked the other’s use of unlawful physical force, unless:

            a. The defendant withdrew from the encounter or clearly communicated to the other person the defendant’s intent to withdraw, reasonably believing that the defendant could not withdraw from the encounter; and

            b. The other person nevertheless continued or attempted to use unlawful physical force against the defendant.

The only silver lining though is that if the state has not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it was not self defense, the defendant must be acquitted. But, in my opinion, the throat slashing, coupled with Jodi’s memory loss, compete with each other. If Jodi remembered he kept coming at her and she ultimately had no choice than to slash his throat, it would be one thing. But she didn’t.

            • AA,

I agree with you completely. That throat wound has always bothered me. Because at that stage a reasonable person may believe that you now have command of the situation and you can stop. I think at least one juror has the same belief, and that was reflected in the question about whether people in that situation can stop (I’m paraphrasing it horribly, but that was the general gist).

Also AZ lawmakers were astute enough to understand this situation, and their manslaughter charge actually covers exactly that situation.

              ASR 13-1103 (2) under Manslaughter

“Committing second degree murder as defined in section 13-1104, subsection A upon a sudden quarrel or heat of passion resulting from adequate provocation by the victim”

and 13-1104(1) for 2nd degree murder states

The person intentionally causes the death of another person

That is why I think that an extremely likely outcome of this trial could be manslaughter.

              • Indeed Al. The charges are mirrored along federal laws, based on common law, so let’s not credit AZ too much LOL

I think also the vena cava wound (which the ME testified to as a “fatal wound”) may negate the necessity for the throat slash, even if Jodi had remembered. Although, it could be argued that a layperson would not realize such a wound would ultimately be fatal, whereas a similar argument regarding the throat slash would be ridiculous.

Jodi’s testimony does, I believe at least, support lesser included offenses, and therefore, manslaughter should be an option for the jury. If the jury follows the instructions, I think manslaughter will be the option they choose.

That being said, JM has not (yet) disproved self defense. But neither has the defense successfully supported the use of such extreme force.

I think that particular juror question was very interesting. I would have liked to have heard Alyce’s answer in full, but JM objected, and he had a right to object. That does provide JW with an opportunity to follow up though, and I hope she does. One of the deep dark black holes that I see in the defense’s case is in not explaining the incredible fear a DV victim faces and why, as is so commonly seen in these cases, “overkill” occurs. I was not at all surprised to hear a juror ask about that. In fact, I would have been surprised if they didn’t. I actually saw that as a positive question for Jodi’s case. At least one juror has already (possibly between voir dire and the trial or just from innate intelligence or knowledge of other such cases or perhaps movies?) considered why someone acting in self defense would use such extreme force. That may be the one juror who can explain to the others and perhaps even sway them.

BUT JW needs to explore this and to do it well, and in a way that JM cannot object his flat little butt off. The jury has opened the door. I just hope JW realizes the importance of this question. If she is successful and Alyce is able to speak confidently on the subject, there is still, in my mind, a possibility that the jury will acquit on self defense.

Another possibility is that aggravated assault may be a lesser included offense, although I’m less confident about that one. If it is, then, the jury may choose the lowest possible offense they can, and that would most likely be “time served” for Jodi, barring a few weeks or months here or there.

  18. I have butterflies…………..

so nervous to hear these questions…………………

we will have a nice idea verdict wise…………..

    hope they took out #5 Fame-Whore’s questions……………..

  19. If there are inappropriate questions, just leave them out, question the jury separately and get rid of that person.

  20. I think it is just speculation, like someone acting like they have the inside scoop from their couch, many miles away.

  21. Unless there was some evidence of jury misconduct, this would not be just because the jury asked an inappropriate question. They would just through it out. So if this has something to do with the jury it may have something to do with the fact that a question in there reflects something that could only have come from a juror watching or reading something on the outside.

Now, how about another totally wild assed idea – Plea Deal?

  22. I think it’s really sad that people are trying to sabatoge everyone and anyone affiliated with Jodi.can’t believe that people are so stunned that we have bully problem at schools in America. After seeing the extent that people go to to try to ruin anyone who dares to support Jodi, it does not surprise me at all that kids are bullying other kids. All you have to do is look at their parents, many of their parents are the people that are bullying JA, KN, JW, Dr. S, and ALV. The worst thing about it is that it is taking place in cyber space and in social media. I’ve seen kids suspended and expelled from school for cyber bullying. How can you tell you child not to bully, when you yourself, are basically doing the exact samething times ten. If you want your kid to grow up and be a person with class, well it starts with you. Stop being a bully and stop the hate.

Also wanted to let you guys know that the people trying to ruin ALVs’ career were told to cool it until after the verdict is in. It could be considered “witness tampering”. IMO just for all of the crap they pulled, the judge should send a message to the spectators by declaring a mistrial, but we know that would never happen. So I dunno how I feel about it… I would like to see a mistrial, but I want things to cool down for ALV. Also I think it’s crap that people have decided that it’s okay to pick and choose who is abused and who isn’t. They had their minds made up as soon as they found out they she was going to file for self defense. They are right about one thing, this could set back domestic violence big time, but not because of Jodi claiming self-defense. Someone who is being abused might look Jodi’s case and be concerned that no one would believe them as well. Or maybe someone who is being abused won’t attempt to fight back because they are afraid they will end up in jail like Jodi.

I honestly think that if she does get convicted of first degree murder and receives the death penalty, it won’t be because she killed Travis but because she lied and didn’t tell the truth in beginning… (Well that, and she should have not talked to inversigators without a lawyer).

    • Those trying to ruin ALV’s career were told to cool it till after the verdict? So they are free to go and destroy her once the verdict is in? What about all the damage they have done so far? Are they going to go back and undo that? They are truly sick and suffering from mass delusions!

    • OMG until AFTER the verdict? That’s lovely.

And no, Jodi’s case hasn’t ruined anything, and actually, it just might have helped. Domestic violence victims are NOT believed anyway — not even by each other (obviously). Maybe, just maybe, Jodi’s case has brought some more awareness to the subject.

Why? Well, when those of us who are victims have spoken up here, I’ve seen several people, especially men, take note and thank us for what they have learned. Maybe just maybe everyone here will pay a little more attention to the woman who misses too much time from work, seems to hide bruises/cuts, seems isolated, and/or visibly shakes when her partner/husband calls. And if that woman ever confides in you, maybe the first questions out of your mouth won’t be “Well, why don’t you just leave?” or “Why did you stay?”

        • No Cindy, I really didn’t. I had 3 “friends” left in the world by the time he was arrested. 2 of them I’d never met in person, but had talked to them on the phone and knew them from a cat health group I ran. I thought one of them, who had studied to be a psychologist, would be understanding. That was my first experience with people NOT understanding.

When I first talked about the abuse (before he was arrested as I began realizing it), she became cold to me. By this point in her life, she has devoted herself entirely to working with rescue cats in a shelter, and doing trap-neuter-return for feral cats. She never married. I had previously told her quite a bit about our arguments, but I had never mentioned the physical violence. In fact, I had typed up one argument, with my observations, and sent it to her. Granted, I left out the part at the end, where he was violent. She read it, but said she thought it was the difference between men and women. She suggested I videotape him as he was ranting at me and let him see it. I tried that. He smashed my camera.

So, when I told her the truth, adding back in all the violence, and that I was truly frightened for my life because of the escalation that was occurring and I was trying to leave, I thought she, out of the 3 people I knew, would be THE most understanding. Instead, she asked if I had the 7-year itch (we’d been married 10 years). She also said it is a rare man who rescued cats (which he did) and I might need to think about that since I love cats so much. We had 13 cats at the time, most of which he’d brought home because I think he thought I’d never leave him while they were there. They were my “kids” since I couldn’t have my own (not my fault — he’d had a vasectomy before we were married, but neglected to tell me about it until I wanted to see a fertility doctor to find out why I wasn’t getting pregnant.)

Her coldest slap ever to me, however, was after his arrest. I was in a house in the back of a large development. The nearest convenience store was almost a 2 hour walk and I don’t drive. To get to a grocery store was almost a 4 hour walk. There was no public transportation. The neighbours didn’t want to be involved (as he was/is the VP of the HOA) and wouldn’t give me a ride to the store. Cabs cost $50 each way, and regularly took 2-4 hours to arrive. I spent so many nights in the rain outside the closed grocery store waiting for a cab to take me home, scared out of my brains. He had stolen my only source of income, the business that he worked at, but I had bought. He had charged his legal fees to my account and used my debit/credit cards and withdrew $500 per day from the accounts, plus an additional $500 a week for what he called a “meager amount on which to survive”. He kept changing my mailing address to his new one so I couldn’t even get new cards in the mail unless the banks would FedEx them to me. And then, he shut off water in the house, which was somehow in his name. The city wouldn’t turn it back on unless I had a lease from him — even though the injunction for protection granted me sole occupancy of the house. I was fucked (excuse the Egyptian). I’d spent 10 weeks ordering cat food and litter online or taking expensive cabs to the store. My legal fees were draining most of what I’d managed to salvage when I closed my accounts and before he drained my accounts completely dry.

If I was going to survive, I had to move somewhere with public transportation where I could get around and get a job. And I had to do it quickly. But I couldn’t take ALL the cats. My choice was take some of them and we could all live. Or, we would all die in that house with no water and no money. That was the most heartbreaking decision in the world. He wouldn’t allow me to give them away. They were property his lawyer told mine. I chose the 4 I felt closest to. I had to leave the rest. My friend gave me a terrible lecture by email (she conveniently forgot my number) about how selfish and conceited I was. I should have taken the 4 least adoptable cats. Instead, I wanted to take the little Bluepoint Siamese guy who was 2 and the most highly adoptable, but he is, I believe, the rebirth of my cat who had lived to 22. I couldn’t leave him. On top of all the other stress I was dealing with, I really didn’t need her lecture and it was so cruel. I’ll never ever forget it.

I went onto a feral rescue group online and asked a question about another cat who I had found a home for and who was positive for FeLV and FIV, but I needed transportation help to get her to another state. In the process, I told them what I was doing, and apologized saying they would probably all hate me. I was shocked that the “experts” there told me I was doing the right thing. To get back at me, my ex would most likely target the cats I cared the most for, and somehow get a message to me of what he’d done.

Of course, my heart still grieves daily for the cats I left behind. But it also grieves for that friend and her cruelty to me at a time when I needed caring words more than anything else in the world, and I was barely holding myself together, considering suicide daily.

The next cruel thing I heard was one time I was reaching out to Catholic Charities for help getting rides to the grocery store. I offered to pay, as long as it was considerably cheaper than $100 round trip. I left a message. The woman who called back said “Your story is fantastical. You’re telling me you were basically a prisoner in your own house, but you had a phone, a cell phone, and a computer? I don’t believe you. Why didn’t you just open the door and walk out?” Ugh! Where was I going to go? How far was I going to get?

I heard similar words many many many more times thereafter. One lawyer who runs a website purportedly to help women with custody battles, including domestic violence, and is considered by some to have a bible-worth of material on there, told me that I was jealous of my husband’s mistress, and I “set him up” by videotaping him with my iPhone as he tried to kill me so that I could get charges pressed against him. Sound familiar to anyone following the Jodi case? She also said because I didn’t run out of the house screaming when he tried to kill me, I was obviously lying through my teeth. A reasonable person would have run outside. And I wanted to deprive him of his business. HIS business? Who bought it? Who bought the house? Who bought the cars? Yeah, sure.

The shit you hear. The disbelief. It still stings 25 months later.

      • Also Abused,

I hope that when you have enough time, you will write a book on the topic of domestic violence/intimate partner violence/battered woman syndrome, whatever it is called by the time your book comes out! You write very well and clearly, even when the topic is upsetting. It is obvious that you have a scholarly mind and a talent for legal analysis. I’ve learned a lot from your posts, so thank you for taking the time to clarify the issue for the rest of us. You could write a fine book on the aforementioned without ever mentioning “what’shisname”.

        • Thank you, Nikki. I have considered writing a book about it many times, but can never quite figure out whether to just tell my story, or what. I’m no expert, just someone who survived. My worry also is always that ogre (my ex) could sue me and/or collect part of the profits. There have been cases decided that really scare me on that issue.

But honestly, thank you so much for saying I write well. That means a LOT.

        • AA, I agree wholeheartedly with Nikki!
And Nikki, you are pretty damn good at expressing yourself in writing as well!

    • Jodi’s last words to the jurors was (paraphrased, she was stopped before she finished) :
‘If you want to convict me for lying, so be it.’

    • Leesar-
Nice post. So true that bullying has taken over young children’s lives, and you don’t have to look far to see the original source and who is teaching them to bully. I had a great conversation with my child’s principal last year, and he shared what he has to deal with in terms of bully parents. This is a school district in a wealthy area with many Doctor’s, Lawyer’s, Engineers, etc. with “standing” in the community. It is out of control and we are seeing just the tip of the iceberg of the evil that has taken over our society.

    • Beautiful post, thank you for sharing!

I agree with all your points. The fact that GROWN PEOPLE are acting like this, is it really a surprise that kids are so damn cruel? Look who they learned it from.

To think some of those people are teachers, social workers, and sports coaches.

  23. You all realize that by the time they get out of chambers, they will call the afternoon recess! lol

  24. One of Alexander’s sisters and his brother Steven also went in chambers. #JodiArias.. this is what Beth Karas posted on FB.

  25. well dang i missed it…i still cant see anything on my page as far as images..rebooted this morning but still havent been able to get anything to work

    • I read that yesterday…I bawled my eyes out…went to her Memorial site…I hope these boys pay for what they did to her! I doubt they ever will…the police seem to have washed their hands of it.

    • It is sad Melvis, I feel bad for her parents. And the four little turds are still bragging about what they did to her. 🙁

      And now anonymous is involved.

      • Its really a sad reality how society treats girls who have been sexually used and abused. And throw in all the cyber bullying that goes on, no wonder this poor girl felt she had no way out. That was really sweet that you went to her memorial site. :{
We are seeing this same attitude in this case on the haters sites. They think nothing of trashing anyone who remotely defends Jodi, and its so frustrating that its being allowed to happen. Especially on Amazon, FB and Twitter. Very poor website management and enforcement. We all need to keep up the pressure for these administrators to fix this problem!

        • Anonymous is a cyber collective. They got involved with the Steubenville case when it looked like the whole town wanted to hide the fact that a 16 year old girl had been drugged, raped, and drug around for a whole night unresponsive. You can check out some info on it at localleaks.me

    • I did not see that, thanks for posting!

I appreciate Anonymous’ intervention in these cases. Nobody deserves to be used and abused like that.

The boys deny nothing – why Canadian authorities haven’t pressed charges is beyond comprehension.

      • agree MB…its very scary to think that this kind of thing is happening in todays society. Showing us again its the blase blah attitude towards sexual violence. Disgusting!

  26. I still didn’t get to see Mr. Nurmi’s socks today 🙁 Did anyone happen to notice them yet?…Trying to divert my attention…sorry if I am off topic.

      • Therefore, the King of Swords asks you to remain detached and objective in a specific situation, in order to ascertain the truth and seek out only the facts. You need to use your intellect to prove your point and succeed. Your education and experience are important but so are your day-to-day observations and thoughts. You can also solve problems by using history, rules, laws and diplomacy.
The King of Swords suggests that you need to adopt a very stern but fair role. You have clarity of mind and can perceive the truth right now, so you must take the lead with providing an objective point of view. You are well-positioned to judge your situation appropriately and identify the limiting behaviours that are getting the way. This is a time when you need to leave emotions out of it, and remain as objective and rational as possible. You may need to reason with others and be quite direct about what you are observing. You may be concerned that you are not being particularly caring or sympathetic but at this point in time, this detachment is what is needed most.

  27. Hi everyone, While we wait so patiently, just thought I would share this info below. Maybe it can help someone out there, feel free to share 😉

    http://www.brendaclubine.com/brendas-advice-on-helping-victims-of-domestic-violence/jodi-vs-the-world/
This article at the link above is by a woman who spent 26 years behind bars for killing her husband.

    Here is Brenda’s story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=fU2XktFB2zE&feature=endscreen

Battered women should not have to be re-victimized to prove their abuse and find justice.
What I do is help educate victims as well as law enforcement and domestic violence organizations how to effectively document their abuse and it’s all in an app called iEAA or the book Time’s Up. These are the priceless tools that are saving lives and finding justice for victims. You guys can order this book if you or anyone you know is needing to document their abuse and get safe. Please share the link, pass it on, its saving lives and if people learn about how an Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit works, victims and survivors will get justice and wont be forced into a situation such as Jodi’s, Brenda’s and so many other battered women.
    http://documenttheabuse.com/EAAProducts.html

    • I just want to add that the EAA was created mainly by Susan Murphy Milano, one of THE most amazing advocates of ALL time for battered women. You can learn more about her here: http://www.susanmurphy-milano.com/ Her mother was murdered by her abusive husband, a cop. She was involved in so much, and did so much for battered women. She also covered the Stacy Peterson disappearance and what she said proved to be so true. Susan passed away from stage 4 cancer because she couldn’t catch it in time as she didn’t have health insurance.

Graciously, she gave me a copy of the EAA when I wrote to her asking if I could create my own since I couldn’t afford it. I didn’t know she was in end-stage cancer when she wrote back. I’ll never forget that act of grace in the midst of her own struggles.

  28. I am sure the jury wants to know why ALV did not interview people like the Hughes. Like they would tell the truth!! She could not interview anyone cause there is such secrecy and deception with these people how could such interviews be trusted? Remember when Nurmi asked Chris Hughes if he would be happy to testify for Jodi in the hearing??? ” No because she murdered my friend in cold blood”

    • I don’t think they would have even agreed to meet with her. She doesn’t have the authority to force them to have an interview does she…I don’t know how that would work.

  29. here you all go. My 5 year old just came over and asked me who was the girl that skips around… Any answers?

    • ridiculous…Cyber bullying is a crime and she’s the appropriate person to hold the bully’s / cyber abusers accountable…we ought create facebook support page for Alyce <3

    • Yes stan, someone posted it in the morning session page.I feel for ALV 🙁

    • that article makes me so sad. Laviolette has spent her life helping battered women, even if she was wrong and Jodi was a premeditated psycho, that would not undo all the years of amazing work she has done for all of those people. sorry if its rude to say but Travis’ life starks in comparison to all of that. Next, who the hell are all these people to assume they know more about the case or domestic violence based on the spin that Nancy Grace put on it? ALYCE LAVIOLETTE YOU ARE MY HERO!

    • also no matter what everybody deserves to get the best defense that there counsel can provide and that includes expert witnesses, something needs to be done about this or in the future experts will not be willing to do that. wouldn’t it be ironic if the idiots that are doing this need an expert witness and they can’t get one because experts are afraid of what may happen

  30. Geez. No matter which side one is on..if at all, this is frustrating. I can’t imagine being a juror and sitting around wasting my time….waiting….waiting…waiting. Surely, these things could be handled and jurors brought in later.

  31. This is the most ridiculious trial I have ever seen/ witnessed . If the judge would grow so balls, all this sh*t wouldn’t be going on in her three ring circus court room. Hour and half late….. this better be good for the defense… Does anyone smell MISTRIAL ? or at least filing for another one..

  32. I wonder if there are some stall tactics going on so that they have the weekend to think about the jury questions?

  33. 😎

    cant get enough of it!!

Now, someone please figure out how to make a thumbs up sign

  34. this has to be more than jus going over the questions, jodi had almost 200 and they did over a lunch break

  35. Let me sat something, I love this site due to the safety of differing ideas and opinions and the respect that everyone has for another that may see something differently. The free flows of ideas is what makes this site work without fear of being chastised for having a different opinion. There are supporters on here who believe Jodi didn’t do it, that she is protecting other people and herself in that. There are people who believe she is innocent and should walk. There are those that she should be found guilty of lesser charges that she didnt pre meditate it. Point is we all support Jodi in one way or the other. Don’t forget, We are team Jodi!’

  36. The family wouldn’t be back there if they were going over jury questions though I wouldn’t think.

    • I totally agree…. There is something going on besides questions. They didn’t do with with the Dr. or Jodi.

Maybe a juror got out of line with their questions and they are looking into the juror. Suspense is killing all of us…. anyone need a refill on their cocktail.? I just poped in some appetizers for the group

  37. WildAboutTrial @WildAboutTrial

Everyone is coming out of chambers. Do you think we can start this up soon? Let’s do this Judge Sherry! #JodiArias

  38. I just read about ALV and I think it is a shame that people can be allowed to do such and get away with it. This lovely lady seems to be well educated and compassionate about her work. I have even learned much from her testimony. My sister has been married for 30 years to a verbal abusive husband yet she cant see that and learned before Christmas he had cheated on her yet she is trying to make it work and is staying with him. She knew I was going to be pissed when she told me for I too was cheated on by my ex husband and the more I learned about abuse the more I see my sister. I approached her gently in the beginning that this was her opportunity to get out and then later I just gave it too as plainly as I could but until she sees for herself all I can do is be there for her. I believe she does see but keeps turning a blind eye. This lady has I am sure helped many people in her career. Just because someones opinion is not the same doesnt give anyone the right to do what they are doing. Even David Hall said in an interview he hopes she gets the needle and then turns around and talks about God now if that aint hypocrisy then I dont know what would be. I am with one poster, sorry dont remember who it was, who said the church should be investigated. I am very concerned for ALV’s safety!! It will eventually get to a point where no one will want to testify or be a juror for this very reason. This is suppose to be American, : {

  39. SJ:

    Wow.

I was stunned this morning by the day’s introduction. Some have commented mentioning the word “cold.” Some have shared personal accounts of traumatic experience. Relevant literary quotes have been cited. The necessity for protective body armor has been entertained. Speculation about the potential impact(s) upon the Traviban has been engaged in. Some of those impact(s) have been considered and weighed. (I must admit that I have nothing but admiration for how quickly some individuals are able to accomplish that last one. Way to GO, Kira! Lol. )

For myself, I eagerly identify with all of the above responses mentioned. The only thing I can add is that I do not know if I will ever be able to look at that particular shade of blue in the same way as I did before seeing that image. It used to be such a cheery color to me before. For some reason, I just assumed those kind of bags would be black or grey. But there it is: a rather pretty shade of blue associated with something terribly horrific. Reality is not always what it seems; it is what it is.

We perceive reality as harsh, sometimes, cold. It is what it is.

We may not always hold ourselves accountable for what we do, but with only six degrees of separation, the accounting manages to take care of itself over the long haul, no man is an island, and the bell tolls for thee.
A life and death struggle occurred on June 4, 2008. I am glad that Jodi managed to survive that struggle with her life. At the same time I think Travis’ death is a tragedy.

There is no evidence to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that Jodi had any intention of murdering Travis, much less that she premeditated murdering him. Evidence does indicate there was pattern of domestic violence between these two people in which Travis was abusive to Jodi. Every living creature has a universal right to fight for its life when attacked. There has been no evidence to disprove that Jody acted in self-defense.

In my opinion, the harsh reality is that Goliath might still be alive if he hadn’t been messing with David. Though it is disturbing to look at the body bag, the harsh image forces one to seriously consider the real stakes involved when we behave violently with one another. This is a valid message! I applaud you for having the cajones (sp?) to be the messenger.

In giving us a dose of what I am calling “harsh reality,” today, there is something else about your choice in presentation that speaks volumes to me, as well. There is an obvious contrast that jumps out at me between the gravity inherent in that sad photo vs the frivolity which has come to characterize the trite war mantra: “Justice for Travis.” There is also a huge contrast between the two in terms of honesty. By this I am referring to the horde of emotionally-driven hive members out there using book review pages as a means of witness intimidation under the guise of it being justice for Travis. It is not a form of free speech, it is a form of fraud. Not only that, these so-called actions for the purpose of “justice” have the potential to do real damage to innocent people.

  40. Jodi ”lying” or ”exaggerating” to help her case. Now,there’s one(?)juror that hasnt been convinced!

  41. I think the questions are pretty fair, standard. Any juror would just want to know the answers to make sure they have all the facts. It is still early on though..

  42. Loved that question, regarding long standing perps….someone on that jury is getting it! :}

  43. Juan was on that comment… man, I wish that could have stood…but hey, they still heard her answer. You know that will come up in redirect after the questions.

  44. WHOOT! WHOOT! Good questions, and good answers!

Usually it is in self-defense!! LOL! JM you can strike it, but the jury can NOT unhear it!!

  45. also I thought I saw AW smile slightly at the jurors when they came in! Good sign I hope!

  46. So far I have this:

    Jury questions

    1. Journal entries. Any earlier. No. 2006 – 2008.

    2. Would they have helped?

    3. Any interviews involving Travis’ friends family

    4. What did she learn about Travis.

    Book, blogs, motivational speaker, good.
Knew scriptures. From an incredibly abusive background.
Made fun of. Subjected to verbal, emotional, physical abuse, neglect.
Attracted to women. Able to appeal. Friendships with the Hughes.
Concerned about the way he treated women.
About his anger. The way he talked to Jodi.

    5. Could Jodi have lied.

She was very protective. Didn’t see herself as battered.
She was never described as lying by previous boyfriends.
People lie when they are afraid.

    6. Could she have exaggerated.

    She tended to minimise.

    7. Friends and family may have embellished.

I guess, except they didn’t go overboard.
    Escalation process. Even handed.

    8. What did you discover about Travis re other women

He pushed sexual limits. See where it weould go.
Push PPL on them. He would get credits.
He was good with women. He also irritated them.
Faster than they wanted. He played them.
He was well versed in his faith, he used that.
Emails from Dec 07 to June 08.

    9. Is it common for women to ‘snap’

Usually women, when they snap, it is self-defence.
    Objection from Martinez.

    • If that juror carefully picked his words,it means he/she is NOT buying the Premediated crap!

  47. “When women snap in a lethal way that it’s been a self defense situation”…ALV

      • My daughter is an only child. She dated a guy who had several sibling. She was shocked when they called each other names. I told her…make sure you don’t accidentally agree with him.

      • with my sister when we had to share a bed together when we were young she would make me made and I would draw a line down the middle of the bed and she would do her best to piss me off next thing we are fighting next comes the parents ooop there goes the belt and the wooden spoon and now its over another day we go

    • If calling your siblings or anyone stupid makes you a abuser, then guess I am guilty 🙂

    • You oughta see our twins. If you were to judge their relationship on verbal descriptions you’d think they hated each other. Try get in one’s face and watch the other react.

    • Remember, she called her “stupid” because her sister was making some bad life choices. You can call your family any name in the book but is someone else does it…..

  48. So he got the answer he wanted that she knew of one case and then he objects and won’t let her finish.

    • I use to bit my mother for a long time and one day she bit me back and I stopped bitting her I had a bitting problem so bad I bit a cousin on his but and he said he still has the scare where i bit him

  49. The Travisites are pissing in their dungarees with this line of questioning.

    as well they should.

  50. It’s commonly know as “Fight or Flight”, but I did neither. I would “Freeze”.

  51. The questions from the jurors bother me, if they don’t understand now, what hope is there?

    • The questions indicate to me that they are trying to make it all fit together. They are good questions, they want to understand how it pertains to this case.

      • Yes, but this trial has been going on long enough for them to know..

        I can’t believe these questions!!

        • If they haven’t “got it” by now they never will. What did you think of the strangle question? JM is the wicked Jodi.

          • Jeeze what’s up with my texting tonight? I meant to text. JM is making Jodi look wicked c

  52. I unfortunately have called my sister stupid. When I was young and even tho I still Think” some of her decisions and acts are stupid. I still live and respect her and have even gotten some good advice from her and respect her, but I do think some of her actions and beliefs are Ummm not mime.

  53. These are good questions. This jury is really on it. They paid more attention than I gave them credit for, and that is very good. That means they get the whole DV phenomenon.

    This is good.

    • I hope your right. I thought a few were honest questions but others were just repeating JM question for him.

  54. Do any of you think the jury has NOT gotten what AL testified about?

How can it be SO difficult? She was VERY clear!

    • I think a lot of this is by way of reaffirmation.

      It also goes into clarification.

The questions, I believe, are coming from both sides of the aisle.

    • i think so!One just asked if it’s possible that TA was ‘defensive” rather that ”abusive”.I say WTF didnt he/she NOT get????

  55. Is it possible to have a section on this sight to leave encouraging messages for Alice Laviolette? I think that would be wonderful to let Alice Laviolette know that she has supporters, and we appreciate all she has done and is doing for Jodi. TEAM JODI!

  56. why can’t he just set down and shut up. It has to look bad for him to object to a Jurors questions.

  57. Okay, that’s like the 5th way from Sunday that same question has been asked of ALV!

  58. Has Jodi given him psychological abuse??????

For Christs sake, haven’t they been listening and watching this trial?

    WTF! ARE THEY STUPID????????????????????

    • There’s a chance some of them really ARE!Guess we’ll have to comt to terms with this. And pray they” reach a positive verdict for our Jodi.

      • I worry.

Seems they don’t have 2 brain cells…. too reminscent of the taliban site :/

        • I’m TOO worried. At this point it seems to me most of them must have made up their mind more or less. Some of the questions are good but then again some arent….

          • How many Mormon’s are on that Jury I think it matters. The questions
make me feel more than a few Mormon’s are on the Jury.

    • I know, at least one of these idiots is really pissing me off. Sounds like a closet HLN-watcher.

    • They’re watching HLN’s tabloid ratings whores at night. Surprising rating whores would defend a man who wrote on his MySpace info he hated ‘whores’ and anyone who’s career involved cameras. He described the entire HLN station!

    • Jane Valez-Mitchell is appalled Alyce LaViolette compared Jodi’s form of lying to that of Bill Clinton’s and Lance Armstrong’s.
Um…they lied while in trouble legally.
Jodi is in her own category now?

Plus, she’s being bashed for selling her art? I heard no bashing when John Wayne Gacy sold his art from prison. Oh wait, he was a male pedophile just like someone else….

    • No – they seem incredibly influenced by the media. The media has been outside that courthouse the entire time along with people carrying signs, from what I’ve seen.

It’s a sad day for America when the media decides the outcome of a citizen’s trial.

They way HLN portrays her, you’d think she was Osama Bin Laden.

      • seriously! this is at worst a case of a guy who was killed for being a womanizer. it makes me so mad when people say that she would have killed again and she’s a sociopath. seriously? they have painted her to be worse than any serial killer out there when in truth, if she hadn’t gone to Arizona no one would probably have ever heard of her.

  59. the more Kermi objects the more the jury will be pissed.

    these are THEIR questions

  60. Oh wow, I love that answer. “it doesn’t make her a liar, it makes her a scared human being”

  61. Kinda wonder if some of the jury was sleeping with their eyes open. Some of this has already been answered.

    • Let’s not name call the jurors. There could be one who believes Travis abused Jodi. Let’s not stoop to the Stepford Clique, Heather1.

  62. Here we go again with the journals. Travis didnt write that Jodi was a stalker either. JHC These repeat questions are ridiculous!!!!

  63. Man… I’ve got to meet these jurors… they just don’t seem to get it. 🙁

  64. These questions are telling me two things. These jurors haven’t paid attention and/or they’ve been watching HLN and reading about this trial and/or discussing it amongst themselves..

    • They got big-time swayed by JM’s angle. Human nature – you can tell a hundred positive things, but what sticks is the one negative statement!

  65. Who is the jeff prosecuter attorney that is on HLN sometimes? I thought it was ashton but looked up pic & I was wrong. This guy is also a real jerk.

  66. You know, I am glad they are asking these questions. It gives Alyce a way to answer them with her years of experience.

  67. why do these people keep asking if Jodi abused Travis? Where are they getting that??

    • You can tell when he’s going to growl.. WHEN THE TRUTH COMES OUT TOO MUCH–he can’t bear it!

  68. I’m getting a bad feeling from these questions…Weren’t the people who wrote these questions listening? of most of these questions were answered in the beginning of ALV’s testimony.

  69. This trial reminds me of looking at a clear reflection in a pond, then a puff of wind comes by and roils up the view, then after a while it gets clear again and then along comes another puff of wind. In this case the puff of wind is JM.

BTW, puff of wind reminds me of another thing that wind is sometime a synonym for, that often emanantes from one’s posterior that would probably better fit JM.

  70. The license plate stuff came up again, it doesn’t make sense that Jodi would turn it upside down, wouldn’t it bring more attention to yourself, especially when they are saying she was on her way to kill TA.

      • And every time HLN shows something on tv….it seems to included in the prosecutor’s next line of questioning for Jodi….seeing a pattern from HLN and the prosecutor…it looks like they are helping him with their mock trials and outlandish comments…he seems to have his “peepers” tuned into their channel…

        • That thing makes me so mad. I know for a fact kids do
that stuff. Especially with out of town folks. Sometimes
they just steal them but I have heard of them turning
them upside down also. They needed to track down
a few skaters an get some to admit they do some
crazy stuff that they think is funny.

          Oh an some go
as far as switching them on cars also.

    • If a cop saw this, he/she would stop her – doesn’t make any sense that someone would do this to avoid detection. If a camera snapped it, u can just look at it upside down. The general knowledge for avoiding detection is to appear as normal as possible.

      • Exactly!Thank you!I REFUSE to spend another minute commenting on that licence plates thing! It’s freaking ridiculous!!Who turns their licence plates upside down so as to go unnoticed???? If she’so smart to have outsmarted 2 experts(as was insinuated in one of the jurors’ questions)dont you all agree she would have chosen a better way to avoid detection??Puh-leeeeze!

        • here is what i think about the lic she is at ryan’s after murder flores report say they know all about envites jodi to go 4 wheeling turns him down so let turn the plate upside down so the cop will arrest her everyone knows she did it right JM word

    • I think they want clarification from what JM tried to throw out there. They are not getting it.

      • I think they are good questions…I feel the jurors have already made a connection with Alyce and they are just looking for more clarification from Alyce after the last several days of the prosecutor’s exhaustive questioning of her….

        • I disagree, truthseeker1111.

I feel so much sympathy toward Alyce. I know what her career entails and I’m happy she has 3 friends in court supporting her through this attack on her expertise.
It doesn’t surprise me though. Many abused women are called liars. 🙁

By the way, I really admire your username.

    • I have wondered too . . . Jury questions seem more prosecution, but couldn’t that be a sign that JW is clear and doesn’t leave them guessing, but JM is so roundabout that they need to ask more questions?

      • Yes B.Berry I was thinking the same thing.

This happened on the last batch mostly things that JM
goes round an round an skips back an forth is very
confusing because he is trying to get another answer
out of witness. So I think it does confuse the Jury I
think you are right on that.

  71. Not looking good so far… Lets hope these weren’t the most recent questions asked

  72. we only need ONE person people

    let’s stay positive.

these questions tell me that they take her as a serious expert, and that Jodi was a victim.

this is very good for Jodi.

    • Let’s stay positive by remembering that Casey Anthony’s jury was originally 10-2 in favor of acquittal on murder 1, but only 6-6 on the other serious charges. They all came around in the end :).

    • Renee, I say the same thing but I am preparing to hold a Catholic vigil for Arias. After hearing the jurors questions, I believe we’re watching a dead woman.

As a Catholic, I find those who seek the death penalty sick, sadistic individuals. It makes sense with this trial as the Alexander siblings were heavily abused during childhood.

I feel sorry for all of them.

      • catholic too no death in our faith we confess and christ forgive us he died for us so I hope he is watching this trial for if ti is a good outcome then god was involved

      • I am Catholic Also and agree with JP2 who gave a great speech against the Death Penalty and RON PAUL used his teachings as an example, Dr.Paul feels that our government is so morally corrupt that they are not responsible enough nor have the right to decide who lives or dies.

  73. Maybe it is a good thing all these questions are being asked.

Look at it this way, if a juror suspected Jodi of lying or whatever, and never asked for clarification, then they’d go into deliberations thinking it. At least this way, if they bring up “Jodi lied” in deliberations, then the other jurors could point out that Alyce LaViolette already addressed the issue – reasonable doubt

    • Didn’t you notice though that JW had to change her wording of Travis’s lies to ‘deception’ or ‘deceived’? And Arias is always, ‘liar’ or ‘lied’ or ‘manipulated’?

Yeah. Makes sense that Jodi ‘manipulated’ two extremely educated industry published experts. NOT.

  74. from these questions, I’m getting the feeling there are several jurors who aren’t buying the states crap. We only need 1, and it sounds like there just may be…..fingers crossed. The other questions are just ignorant.

  75. You can tell Alyce is getting a little frustrated trying to explain the same concept over and over again, so that the jurors will understand it somehow!

  76. I can’t BELIEVE that question Would she rather DIE??????????????????//

    Would ANYONE??????????????????????????????????????

    • Here’s the thing – I don’t think someone could even do that.

Remember Dr Samuels talking about flight or fight, that the brain is affected by chemical changes during a deadly situation.

Could Jodi have just layed there and died? I don’t believe so. I don’t think *anyone* could.

        • I think Jodi said something like that during her testimony – that maybe she wished she hadn’t fought back or something like that; that she could have just let him kill her.

          • I would have rather died than go through that trial.

My prayers to all involved except Juan Martinez. I bet he’s not married because HE beats women! (or men)

      • i was raped i went into another world in my mind and i just let it happen then fight i tried reasoning with him it saved me because when i said i need to pee he let me i lock the bathroom door and he left and had people telling me i should have fought after that we discoverd he had killed a woman in an apt complex before he got me so in jodi case she is attacked by travis and fought and won or someone else was so mad at him they kill him with all his antics its possible.

  77. I wish Jodi cud have helped Travis. She tried so hard & had so much empathy for him that she let him get away with so much & stayed in his life anyway. Jodi is crying in court now, & I think this is why, that she couldn’t save him.

  78. If there isn’t at least ONE juror who isn’t buying what the State is selling I’ll be really surprised. Someone on that jury has to have common sense.
Maybe the jurors are going to get pissed at Martinez for objecting to their questions.

      • Still!Where there’s smoke there’s fire! How could it be a joke if he didnt have a temper? That juror is NOT using his/her head!

    • AMEN!!!

I can’t believe he’s got a fan base. He’s a monster! He gets off putting people to death even when there is obvious reasonable doubt!

  79. OH so when JM doesn’t like the answer the STUPID JUDGE gets rid of it?

    I can’t believe this!

  80. commentatiors said a lot of men in jury were writing notes down during JM’s cross..no offense guys on here, but I think that is where some of these neg comments are coming from..and those types of questions remember could only be from a couple of jurors! And JM needs to stfu!!!

  81. WELL! If Samantha’s eye rolling at ALV’S statement re: adults who grew up in a seriously abusive family “if they don’t get help to learn to have a healthy relationship they may never have one” is an indication that she is in denial…ROLL THOSE EYES…KEEP IT UP…IT EXPOSES YOU MORE AND MORE!!!!!!!!!

      • Yes I keep reading that Samantha is a cop but I
have never met a cop like that. Maybe a dispatcher?

Cops usually have pretty good manners in a
court room just saying she is strange. The
drama is a bit over the top an actually looking
over to see if she can make eye contact with a
Juror before she does it an then after makes
        me sick!

      • Also NOT willing to accept it. Hopefully ONE of them will hear Alyce’s valuable words.

  82. These idiot jurors think the only kind of abuse is physical.

    Cripes.

    And JM keeps interrupting.

  83. Will that little turd shut up already? These are the the jurors questions, they want clarification. I would want to know why he doesn’t want the jury to know this information.

  84. If you’re trying to find someone to marry, do you carry on with 10 different women or try to focus on one or two whom you really connect with????

    • From what I have been reading Mormon’s /LDS
do. They have a whole WARD full of singles
to mess with until they find the one an only.
An I do not believe that all these young ladies
are ‘VIRGINS” yes maybe some but come on
give me a break they sleep over an go on
trips but never once even get felt up haha.

  85. Not liking these types of questions that are asking if women can be violent perpetrators….were they sleeping during her testimony?

  86. The jurors are asking general questions! In relation to this case??? WOW.

Some idiot will relate it to THIS CASE!

  87. Why does TA’s brother always look like he’s just smelled shit? Every time the camera is on him he has the same disgusted look on his face!

      • That wouldn’t be flying in Belvin Perry’s courtroom! “What are you PROJECTING with that SNEER?”

          • You would think that the judge would tell them to keep their eye rolling and sneers out of court. I know that if I were a juror and happened to glance over and see her rolling her eyes and crying all of the time, I would be affected by it because I would have sympathy for her. If they can’t act properly, they should stay out of court.

            • Yes, a lot of us have been saying this since forever. The theatrics seem deliberate too, since they often look at the jury to see if they noticed them.

Earlier today I caught Samantha literally *glowering* at Willmott.

The fact that the judge does nothing says a lot about how AZ handles “justice.” If it can even be called that anymore.

I’ve said before many times – I do not expect them to be happy to be there. But I do expect them to contain themselves so that the jury’s attention is not divided between the family and what is going on in front of them.

The fact that the jury doesn’t seem to be paying attention to Alyce’s testimony says a lot. A lot of their questions were pre-answered, had they paid attention with an open mind.

      • Well, I’m glad he has a range of facial expressions lol I’ve just never seen him use it 🙂

  88. Guys– I think Juan objecting all the time is going to piss off the jury.

But also, the questions remind me this is mostly male jurors.

  89. Ofh for GOD’S sake…! oh of course an abuser is going to show his abuse to others.. WTF.. these jurors are so effing DUMB!

  90. So what this juror’s trying to teach us:if the character assassination is not happening in front of other people it is JUST name calling, weeell maybe intense name calling! So no big deal! They have GOT to be kidding me!!!

  91. Most of the juror questions sound like they came from HLN. It’s very clear that this jury has been watching media reports, etc. And who covers this trial more than HLN? There should absolutely be a mistrial. HLN has cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

  92. The inflections in the Judge’s voice with the questions is annoying. SHE decides which words to stress.

    • OMG Renee!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was just me being delusional coz I’m overly worried right now!Not only she uses a different voice inflection but when she says ”Sustained”to Martinez’ objection she does it in a hell-yeah-baby- kinda of way.

    • Yes, Renee’! And the expression on her face, which seems to say, “now, let’s see how you wiggle your way out of this one, missy”. Oh, I am so very upset with these juror questions. 🙁

  93. You know the most absurd thing?

It doesn’t take a DV Expert to say what she is saying.. anyone SHOULD KNOW!

    Its OBVIOUS!

I fear for the verdict 🙁

    • I hear you Heather. It should be immediately obvious that it’s not ok to treat your girlfriend like a subhuman or a blow up doll. But then, we don’t know what kind of relationships these jurors have in their lives. Who knows, maybe they take offense to Alyce’s testimony because she is telling them that their behavior behind closed doors is not right.

  94. Guys remember, those neg questions could only be from a couple of the jurors! some of the first ones were good..I think maybe we are getting now into questions from JM cross maybe??

  95. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED TODAY:

A 16 PAGE TIRADE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A RUNNING JOKE.

  96. its amazing how JM interrupts her and doesn’t want to get the entire answer. Maybe the Jury wants the entire response.

  97. didn’t the defense team get to review these questions…talk about biased bs!!! some of those jurors need to be admonished!!!

  98. Most of those “questions” were just plain common sense… WTH is wrong with these people?!?

  99. Yes, Al, both sides of the aisle. But one side is bigger than the other. Let’s hope that someone on the smaller side has a voice that carries out.

  100. Actually, I may be the only guy on this side of the fence, but I actually think most of these questions are

    1. Reasonable, given that JM mucked everything up and the jury is looking fro clarification, and
    2. At least some of these questions are from people who seem to be getting it. Especially the ones that came early in the testimony.

Also I think ALV’s answers are really explaining some of this stuff.

    • no Al, I’m there with you, just pisses me off that at least one juror is allowed to ask such hostile sounding questions. If I was on the defense, i would not have allowed them. I don’t like jury questions anyway, so this just cements my opinion.
Some were frankly insulting, especially the ones the insinuate that ALV only based her opinion on Jodi. She’s talked numerous times about Travis’s journal and emails. That was insulting, unfounded, and shows me that at least one of them doesn’t care to listen to testimony. Then they need to be dismissed.
If they want to know how she came to her conclusion, fine, but they are stating it like fact she didn’t talk to travis, therefore, her opinion isn’t based on fact.

    • Yes AL I too agree with you. They need to hear some of the
questions again due to JM’s runabout way of hammering
a witness. So it would seem natural to have to get them
      answered again.

    • Hopefully that’s a good think TS! Half the time I couldn’t even follow his questioning!!!

    • I agree, and its something any reasonable person can see, so I wonder what the jury thinks of his tactics.

  101. IMHO from listening to at least one juror question, the defense needs to put a Crime Scene expert on to discuss the overall scene and how it shows a self defense killling vs. a planned murder. Cant’ remember exactly how the question was phrased, but it speaks to the point that jurors today are very into the CSI component of trials. I think at least some of them from common sense and years of watching crime television, must be saying, “gee, this doesn’t look like she planned it, it’s a mess and she left a palm print and a camera there….” and would like an expert to confirm it. I think if I was a juror I would like an “Expert” to confirm those thoughts.

  102. I wish I knew if these questions were mainly coming from a couple of the same jurors or if it’s spread out among the whole jury. I’m inclined to believe that it’s just a couple of them asking the majority of the questions. The rest of them are saying what a stupid question.

  103. I’m proud of Judge Pickles this afternoon. She is keeping things moving right along.

  104. Jodi’s defense team is provided with a private detective, hopefully they are looking at all of the juries electronic transmissions. Just sayin>>>>>>>

  105. It’s too bad they don’t group the questions into similar and same…read the questions that are the same and then give the answer…I guess that would make too much sense.

    • I was just thinking that, B! They DID spend, what, an extra hour or hour-and-a-half in chambers after lunch?

    • Yes. How many questions asked if Jodi was the abuser?
And so many: “How could you believe the liar” questions.
Obvious the jurors writing them are watching the media’s coverage.

Plus, I view the Alexander Clan as possible bullying. Estranged siblings collecting close to a million dollars and looking to file a Civil Lawsuit? Really? What monetary amount did they lose from their ‘estranged’ brother’s death?
      I’m disgusted by their greed.

      • Yes they are really into this for not even being in touch
with Travis for years. I think it makes them feel better
that they can make some money off his death now.
After all Tanisha would not want to lose her 4 maids!

I will never believe they did not know Travis was a big
time player. We all know our brothers when we are in
the same house an when we are teenagers especially
when we are close in age. Tanisha knows or Samantha
one friend got burnt maybe more but too ashamed to
come up an tell about it.

  106. Jury questions read as though one or more of the jurors are watching HLN. It’s so freaking obvious. Arias is not getting a fair trial!
A death penalty trial shouldn’t be taken to the Court of Public Opinion.
I am losing faith in the U.S. Judicial System.

    Thoughts?

    • I’ve been feeling the same way now for a while. I felt the same way during Casey’s trial too, but HLN’s attacks against her weren’t nearly this ferocious, and probably because the jury was sequestered so it would have been a waste of time for them. Now they are at full throttle and it’s abhorrent that these jerks are allowed to poke their nose in without permission from the State to sway the court proceedings.

“disgusted” doesn’t quite cut how I feel about our justice system right now.

      • Oh wow. I did not watch the Casey Anthony trial. All I know about Casey is the jury did not find her guilty.

In today’s world, a juror should be sequestered and all technology, phones, computers – anything to connect a juror to the outside world – temporarily taken away. It’s not only HLN but the Judge Jeanine on FOX cable is also bashing Arias like her slick peers.
I give credit to Geraldo Rivera who stated, “Well, it’s up to the jury to decide.” – and gave no personal opinion.

Arias’s judge is a fool if she believes the jurors would admit to sneaking a peak at media coverage.

      • ohhh they sequestered the jury in that case?

But not in this one… IT STINKS of CORRUPTION.

        • Yes, Casey’s jury was sequestered.

HLN was every bit as horrific toward Casey as they are toward Jodi. They portrayed her as a man-crazy slut who deliberately killed her daughter so that she could go partying whenever she wanted. You would have thought that she was the Anti-Christ from the way Nancy Disgrace talked.

  107. Some of the jury are still listening to HLN I think.
Some of the questions were really stupid.
    How depressing.
But logic and reason are on Jodi’s side.

    • But the jurors aren’t logical, they don’t know how to be, they don’t even know what it means.. 🙁

      • Well, I wish I could be so optimistic. It feels to me like crumbs. At this point I don’t think it matters what the judge does or doesn’t do. I’m feeling pessimistic after hearing these questions. Alyce was on the stand a long time expounding for days already. I thought her testimony was clear and more than thorough. If they didn’t get it by now when are they suppose to get it? We don’t know how many jurors put questions forth. I’d like to believe it was a couple, but does someone know that to be true? I’ll go back tonight and look at the video and see if I view it differently. I hope I do, but I’m feeling very concerned.

        • natalie,

I thought the questions weren’t as bad as when Dr. Samuels was on the stand. I thought the first 25 to 30 questions showed the some members of the jury trusted AL. And some questions show that during cross the jurors became confused. I know that’s when many were submitted. Some of the questions were awful such as the ones where they asked why she kept looking over at jodi but I think she cleared that up well and came off as very believable. I think there could be a lesser charge or hung jury. Don’t despair. She did well clearing many things up. We will post the questions and answers soon. I and a friend typed them out and she’s revising them tonight.

  108. Just for clarification 🙂

That juror question about the running joke was about the May 10th exchange – the one about Travis having a bad temper. Basically, just asking, do you think that Jodi and Travis always joked about him having a bad temper ….

The following question was asked about the 16-page tirade on May 26th, which is why we are all confused I think 🙂

    • My feed cut out at that moment, so I’m not sure exactly what was said. But I think posters are reacting because abuse should never be a joke, especially a long running one. That’s just my impression though.

  109. I have to leave to pick up my child.

All I can say is this…

The combined IQ of this jury has to be 17 (1 pt for each juror) if these people cannot understand that what Travis did to Jodi was NOT normal!

BUT, if we think about the average age of the jurors, they were all brought up in a time when parents berated and hit their kids.

So, if none of them got therapy, that could explain their lack of intelligence.

    JMHO…

  110. I am feeling bad, I feel the Jury does not believe Jodi. I think they may be trying to but have made up their minds already. This is causing me stress. I am so afraid for this young woman. I dont see a not guilty, I dont see DP but I feel that Kodi is going to get LWOP :'( Please tell me how wrong I am and why. Please.

  111. someone on the jury thinks she is a manhater? (alv) hmmm..must be cruzing all the neg comments on the net!

    • I am listening to this line of questioning from the jurors…and I feel they have made a connection with Alyce….and they are just trying to rule out some of the hings and they need Alyce’s elaboration on the things that are going to keep coming up from JM during this trial…

    • THAT is PROOF they have been looking at their computers, speaking to people, WATCHING HLN!

      • Just because I’m a man doesn’t give the x-ray vision to see through some of this crap. That’s sort of the equivalent of asking any man why he hates women.

May be its a dirty under handed way of implying that she’s a lesbian, but how does that have anything to do with the price of tea in China?

        • Al, that’s what I thought. Basically, they’re an older jury in a very conservative religious area. ALV has a dyke hairdo. So, they just assumed she’s a lesbian (which she is, but that’s beside the point and she’s never said it.) It’s not like living in the DC area. That’s a homogeneous area.

  112. Oy vey. Implying she is biased thinking all men are abusive is like asking a police officer if he is biased that all people are criminals…

  113. TA said those awful things because he was afraid of her STALKING him??If anyting, when you’re afraid of your stalker you dont do anything to upset them!!It’s not the other way arould people!!!!Wake up jurors!!

    • Right, that sounds like a question that the prosecution would have asked. She was not privy to that info. They should be asking about HER testimony, not something she’s knows nothing about. Someone is dumb as nails … or they have made up their mind already and asking a question that throws guilt on Jodi for everyone to hear and to remember. Damnit!!!

    • I thought the messages were in Star Magazine, so why would the juror think it was a magazine that Alyce sent when she sent one with a different name (that escapes me).

      • At least one of them was in a photo magazine and I think ALV said she got her a subscription to that.

  114. Wait, wait, wait,

That question about the 16-page tirade as a way to get Jodi to leave him alone, that was said on HLN right? Martinez never mentioned that, not that I remember?

    • Mk,
that was brought up by JM, he was asking ALV about it, she was talking about how over the top he was in that message, JM was asking her if it was possible he was just trying to make her mad, and he was trying to minimize the ranting in it…etc.

    • Can you tell me where the 16 page tirade is? Is there a transcript? was it in court? I am so confused by that. Any help would be appreciated. i also hear 62 page or 16 pages and 6 hours, that TA went off on Jodi. Is there some reference to that? Can I read it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks to all of you and your wealth of knowledge, compassion and just a great site.
      SJ,
You are amazing. Never stop, dont give up, right? I need your strength. I am heartbroken by the Jury questions.
      Thanks
      Patty

    • Yeah, another expected juror question, “We heard Jodi quoted a lie from a movie when she was 8 years old. Doesn’t that make you question your assessment?”

Yet, Travis led a deceitful double life but he’s the Mormon Messiah!

  115. Judge sounds like a f’in bitch when she is asking
    the jurors questions.
Serious bitch tone in her voice!

Plus is there an app to make JM shut the fuck up?

      • Yeah, I thought her attitude was nasty when she cut AL off, and then when JW asked to approach the bench one time she said “yes” in a pissed off tone, not “yes, you may approach” as usual. The tone in her voice was strange as she asked the questions. Not as neutreal as I think she should have been, it was accusitory tone.

  116. Wonderful…… IS IT POSSIBLE.. if THAT isn’t a ridiculous question.

    FUCK OFF JM!

    • Viri: I don’t believe anyone testified that on the stand.

      HLN
      HLN
      HLN
      the Hating Loser Nitwits!

  117. Its 10 past Midnight here … there were problems with video connection, anyone else have this?

  118. Well, I ate dinner about 30 minutes ago. I think it’s about to come up now. I’ve gotta go take a chill pill before my brain explodes. Their ignorance… It HURTS.

  119. WHAT THE FUCK????They sure are giving Jodi credit for being such a good MANIPULATOR for having MANIPULATED ALV???
Then why didnt she turn on her manipulation with TA??

  120. IT doesn’t matter how many times they here the answers they HAVE TO KEEP ASKING!

    This Juror is UNBELIEVABLE!

  121. I have only heard one question in regards to how TA was killed, the stabbing, throat slashed and gunshot. I would have expected more questions about that.

I wonder if they are having a hard time with what abuse was done to Jodi and how she reacted and the way he was killed? Could that be a stumbling block for them I wonder?

    Any thoughts?

  122. I DIDN’T SEE ALV SMILING AT JODI ONCE!!!!!! WTF? NOT ONCE! I HAVE NOTICED THE OPPOSITE IN FACT!

    • what about all the fucking eye rolling and smirks from TA’s family!!!!! Why is that acceptable?? And the frickin gum chewing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • The are the SAINTS….. this is the most corrupt biased trial that I have ever seen. It’s a FK murder trial for pre med, or self defense how the FK could she talk to a dead person. Mornon jury……

          • I don’t know about that. I think it’s more like a dumb jury. They ask obvious questions that have been addressed/answered sooooo many times.

        • That is the POINT I can’t get through people’s head. We can
talk an see Travis how he behaved etc. by his thumbprint on
the internet. An Alyce even more so she had actual texts a journal
IM’s an emails. Those are actually getting a view of a person
from personal info you would not let everyone read.

So for a fact people can actually see a bit of Travis without
actually knowing him or talking to him face to face.

The Travis supporters want to maintain no those are from
Jodi she wrote them an made the all up..? maybe the Jury
is thinking this but that is BULL CRAP.

He has a My Space that is ever so clear on his egotistical
jerk of a way he carried himself through life.

Ok I did not really jump right away to be on Jodi’s
side I was neutral until I heard that condescending
smart ass voice on that sex tape. An how he only wanted
to talk SEX. Jodi several times changed the subject
it went right back to his dick.

He also said some really horrible things about so called
friends which tells me he was a 2 faced jerk. An those
same friends he slandered as in ABE actually are
so weird they stand up for him. Bunch of weirdo’s.

          • Did u know Abe is charging people $1.00 to email him on Facebook? EVERYONE except Gus, from PPL appears to be cashing on TA’s death! And Dr.Dumb has Abe on all the time!

  123. These questions are not in Jodi’s favor. The judge is very bias and making her faces reading the questions is very unethical for a judge.

TA SUPPORTER LURKERS: ALYCE had two children…. DID you hear that….

WTF do you like or have feelings for JODI… These jurors questions are just plain DUMB.

  124. Questions are so redundant. That long tirade from Travis was abusive, I would have told him to go pound sand.

      • That doesn’t sound right, here we have about half and half.

I’m afraid its not looking good.

      • Unfortunately, a jury filled with mostly women would have been risky too. Most of Jodi’s vehement online haters are female.

        • Kira,
That just mkes me sick. The way these women Tabloid Journalist” talk, make fun, mock and act to wards an abused woman makes my stomach sck.
          Where is the support??? Damn!!!

    • Or the TA support site. They’re just parroting back what they’ve heard and read!

    • Renee did you take your xanx today? Your BP is going up …… Very biased men on this juror which is not in Jodi’s favor…. Keep the prayers going …

      • But you know FUJuan there are many women foaming at the mouth on HLN for Jodi’s conviction. Remember, Jodi is beautiful, creative, intelligent. Some women have a hard time with that. Weh you have a mob listening to NG and JVM and all the rest it’s like a pack frenzy … Jodi has become their prey and they are out of their minds and want to get her.

        • They are truly evil witches on hln I will not watch
that channel ever again I wish everyone could do
that. I actually hold great hatred for those people
now. I can say I will pray for them like I am suppose
too but I can’t even do that. Some people are
just EVIL DOERS an they are proving that to me.

  125. How many times do they need to be told? They have the intelligence and memory span of a FLEA.

    • That’s exactly why Martinez is approaching this trial as he is. He is ASSUMING the jury is dumb. Me fears he is right.

  126. We have to remember this is about Jodi. They want to know why she done what she done.

      • But these are the things that JM twisted and ranted about. Maybe they would much rather ask and get a better answer.

  127. I’m telling myself right now……it only takes one!!! One person who can see thur all this chyt on this jury!!!

    • Yes, please if there is a Santa or a Sky God by all means, give that one person the strength to dig their heels in and say NO to this trash mockery of a trial.

  128. I know a lot of things they asked were not presented in court. Oh no we have hypothetical questions from them now. Ugggggg Seems to me some of the jurors have watched some type of media outside the courtroom.

  129. That was a good answer from Alyce. That she does not like all the abused women she has had to work with.

  130. A lot of this questions was questions AL tried to clarify but JM wouldn’t let her. Maybe some of these are just trying to hear what she didn’t get to finish,

  131. Being a case of self defense the jury must consider the criminals choices, words and acts that led to his death.

  132. SAME person questioning about shrugging shoulders….The jurors should have to sign their names on the questions so ONE juror can’t taint ALL the questions by repeating those same questions….writing the same question several times

How can that person tell WHERE ALV is looking specifically and that she shrugged? Maybe Alyce needed to use the ladies room or something…WTF shrugging!!!!

    • That person has already made up his/her mind about Alyce liking Jodi and lying her ass off to support her!He/she just wanted to point it out there,by being sarcastic with that question.IMO.

  133. Pretty disrespectful of the jury. A very disrespectful jury because no order was sustained all along, and a respectful tone was not maintained by the judge. They feel they’ve been given license to be rude, and pose humiliating Q’s to the DEFENSE witnesses. Were they this disrespectful to the Prosc witnesses? I have not watched those clips yet.

    • I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Look at how much disrespect and bullying goes on all over the place…

Naturally there would be some on the jury too.

      🙁

    • it’s funny how juror 5 got kicked off because she talked about the case but the other jurors can say things about being a man hater that just as clearly throws the message out there that they don’t believe her

  134. The judge has the most ugly look on her face when asking the
questions? there is no doubt by her body language what side
she favors! Not a Fair an unbiased trial at all to me. All one
    sided.

Travis spoke in emails IM’s an Text message the jury
seems to think like the Travis supporters/Taliban that
he is not here to speak at all an this stuff was all made
up which drives me insane. Travis has a thumbprint
all over the internet still today.

    • Totally one sided trial, and the way the judge reads these questions is so biased ….. Remember we only need ONE juror ….. We are still praying for you JODI>

      • I am praying for at least 2 Jurors please to not fall in with the rest. I do
not believe that whole Jury is being honest I hate to say that.

But every day they do not raise their hands when the Judge asks
them about not talking about this trial. An how is it that the day of
Juror #5 being released they heard her say something days before
but not until asked one by one did they admit to that?

So this means they sit there an never raise their hands unless
sat down an asked one by one then they will tattle tale??

Makes me really suspicious of the Jurors.

    • They can only give her what they have themselves. FK did the juror really think AL was going to read his journals from 20 years ago? I am so pissed right now, I cannot believe them don’t understand DV and that each one of them doesn’t have a family member that hasnt been through this in their lifetime. It’s one our of every 4 or 5 so the odds should be in Jodi’s favor, but by the questions they are not buying into ALYCE….

What a total shame….. BIG GROUP HUG…. First round on me tonight.

      • Welcome to the world of a DV victim, FUJuan. No one understands. Everyone looks down on the woman. This HAS to change before more tragedies occur. DV *must* be come a subject talked about openly, without shame, without disgrace, without fear of further attack.

  135. Sounds like some of these questions are some of the same questions that the prosecutor hammered to the witness but he wouldn’t give her a chance to answer in detail…the prosecutor only wanted a “YES” or “NO” answer…maybe they are just looking for more elaboration from Alyce beyond the “YES AND NO” on those topics…

If I was a juror…that is what I would be looking for….I would be wanting to know what was beyond the scope of the “YES AND NO”….the other part of the answer to the questions that the prosecutor kept objecting too…

And even now…the prosecutor keeps objecting to Alyce’s answering of the many questions that they “JURORS” wants answers too…

If I was one of those jurors….I would be really pissed at his mouth…I would love to throw a baseball in it to shut it up so I could hear the answer to my question that I want the answers to…

If I was a juror….I would be really be concerned at what the prosecutor was trying to hide in not letting Alyce answer the all of the questions…

  136. I CAN’T CAN’T watch JM re-cross ALV after these questions… You remember how he took innuendos and cues from their questions to Dr. Samuels’ and used them to body-slam him into looking like a lovesick puppy. I can’t watch him do that to Alyce. That poor dear woman. 🙁

  137. Please, God, if you’re real, let all of these inappropriate questions come from ONE juror.

the one every one else on the jury hates.

  138. I have JVM on in the background and have the trail streaming elsewhere , and he just had some ghetto ass neck rolling DV survivor weighing in whether babe thinks jodi was a victim ?!!! WTF??? U have to be me? They are going to let crazy chola ( I’m Latina) chick give her DV “expert opinion” I’m gonna fuckin vomit!

    • I was watching then (gag me with a spoon). I wanted to beat my TV. I wanted to call in and give MY *real* DV experience. That bitch was stupid and a biased piece of shit. (Apologies, my language is getting worse every day.)

  139. Jodi looks disheartened by these questions. I hope she is able to keep the faith. Saying extra prayers for her and trying to stay positive.

        • Me three.:( In fact it was hard to watch, I was on the edge of my seat and several times I had to hold back tears. Now I have a huge knot in my stomach. this was not good today, not at all. I knew there would be some “rough” questions, but these were shocking. Totally. it was if they missed the entire testimony of ALV, or else they did not trust her, the questions were so obviously disbelieving and pro-prosecution. I am heartsick. This is very much like the questions posed to Dr Samuels, and thats not good, the defense only has 2 witnesses that testified to Jodi’s mental health and DV abuse. To me, this means the jury is not buying the defense case. In fact, some questions are openly hostile and flat out suggest that TA was the one abused, not Jodi. Several questions in fact. I kept waiting to hear even ONE normal question about DV that wasn’t critical, and only heard a couple that were not too bad, but there was nothing positive at all. The overall accusatory tone towards ALV suggests alot of doubt, and I am scared.

I know people here are more confident than me, and thats good, as I know I am pessimistic at times, (alot, actually) But I am being honest, in my heart of hearts, I feel sad. This is the end of the trial, there are no more big witnesses, and this is soon to go to deliberations. I do not feel comfortable about the verdict at all, and I can’t even TYPE what I am feeling that will be.

          • It’s clear the jury has been tainted. The case, provided there is a conviction, will be overturned.

Of course, all you need is one juror as a holdout.

            • Tonysam,

I thought some of the questions really demonstrated that many had reasonable doubt about travis. remember the comments about whether he noted their fights in his journal? Those were questions showing they were wondering whether he noted the fights. The jury knows they fought and he verbally abused her at the minimum. Remember the questions asking whether a victim of DV would do this or that? That told me they accepted that she was a victim and were searching for the truth. I know some questions sounded awful such as why AL looked over at Jodi but who brought that up? Batterer in chief Martinez. AL cleared that up. She was truthful. He facial reactions even showed how baffled she was at those questions. I think they believe her in the end. Sure some of them are going to disbelieve jodi but I don’t think all of the jurors do.

              • There were a couple not so horrible questions, but IMHO, they could be taken a couple ways. The not noting fights with Jodi in his journal are interesting, and can be taken a couple ways. Maybe the were trying to see if that coincides with Jodi’s example of not noting negative things due to the whole “Law of Attraction” issue, as it was said in testimony by Jodi, that TA also practiced that. So maybe that juror thought that they both left out bad things, or worse, that TA and Jodi left it out because it never happened. We won’t know unless one talks after the verdict. I am not as convinced as you that the jury believes there was any DV involved, in fact several questions actually pointed to Jodi as the one who was the abuser. Some questions about what a DV victim would do seemed mocking and disbelieving to me, as if they were trying to ask her if Jodi’s behavior seemed manipulated or made up, in fact they asked that in several ways.

My gut tells me that this jury has made their mind up, and likely made their mind up before this point. I hate to say it, but it’s what I feel. I am still holding onto a thread of hope that there is 1 juror who won’t agree, and that in the end, they will at least spare her life.

              • WOW JC ADMIN that made me feel better I was
reading through all these an starting to feel sick.
I feel a lot better now thanks 😉

  140. OMG, I’m trying not to read into the intent of the Juror’s questions, but for Cryin out loud did they not listen to the testimony? They are asking questions that have been asked, crossed, asked again, crossed again and clarified five hundred times already. WTF?

  141. The autocorrect phone demons are alive .. I did not mean babe..or “he” or trail.. The word kidding is missing.. Uughhh

  142. See Juan pounded in their heads that Jodi lied to what’s his face, he of course did that to
conceal the lack of pre med evidence. Looks like some of it stuck. Hopefully the jury will be
instructed that lies are not evidence of 1st degree.

  143. That lady on HLN was talking about the moldy bread…saying that Travis family is sitting on the front row of the courtroom shaking their head no about the moldy bread…his family is so much in denial…

You can read as I have read on Travis website written in his own words as he talked about the moldy bread….

    • His siblings seem very protective of their parents’ memories, based on posts of theirs that I’ve read. I think their parents were awful people, but since they’re dead, the children have chosen to move past it. I don’t think that Travis had gotten to that place, particularly with his mother.

      • hmmmm. Kira what did you see that showed they were protective of their parents memories? Interesting. I missed that and would love to hear your thoughts. I think adult children will often want to protect their parents and show love them for them. Who knows? Maybe the parents asked for forgiveness and cleaned up before they passed away.

  144. Off to spend some much needed quality time with the Mr.

Let’s all keep calm, and have faith.

If these folks are successful at killing beautiful Jodi, she WILL win an appeal.

There is just way to much BS that has occurred for it not to happen this way.

Those Qs may have came from the same abusive guy. Or a couple. We only need ONE person with common sense.

    Just ONE…

    peace, My friends.

  145. Some of the questions I thought were very thoughtful and openminded, but some are right out of hln’s nightly broadcasts. I think this is going to be a hung jury depending on who ends up on it.

  146. Lets just hope that some of the over the top sarcastic demeaning questions are from frickin #5 befrore she was booted off that jury..sounds familiar to ones before w/Dr. S and Jodi

  147. Hopefully there are a few jurors with critical thinking skills and they just happen to be the ones who aren’t asking any questions.

  148. The tiornado siren just went off in our area…we are in for some really bad weather…they are saying that we might have hail as big as golf balls…I have both cars in the garage….

      • Thanks for the concerns…the winds are blowing my wind chimes all over the wooden deck…and on the concrete porch it blew my wooden swing down…yikes…at least the garbage can is still secured…I don’t want to spend my day tomorrow cleaning up garbage…LOL…

I grew up in Florida between two bodies of water and we had hurricanes in that area….at least the weather here doesn’t seem near as bad in comparison….

  149. How do we know or think that they are watching media? Which questions? Do you think thqt is why the attorneys are now talking to pickles?

  150. Yes, Renee, {{{{{{{{{ Group Hug }}}}}}}}}}}

But remember it’s always the haters who make the more noise and ask more (obnoxious) questions than others, so we could have only three haters, twelve so-so’s and two pro-freedom’s.

    • It’s also usually the DUMMIES who ask all the questions. That’s pretty obvious here.

      • R., that’s SO true. Think back to a company meeting, especially one you want to be OVER. Every idiot in the meeting will ask tons of the STUPIDEST questions one could think up. Questions that have been answered already over and over again. LOL! The WHOLE time you’re thinking REALLY? How are you even employed?

  151. All right folks. Deep breaths all around. Some of these questions are not good but there are a few things to remember.

    1. Some of these questions are exactly what JM asked and either wouldn’t let her answer or twisted stuff around till the answer got lost. So, they are just asking them again and hoping they can get and answer.

    2. Some of the questions are actually good and in Jodi’s favor.

    3. Some of the questions seem fair and are just asking for more detail.

    4. In any collection of 17 people there are always a few butt heads, a few morons, and an IQ of 100 is an average and the jury system does not test for IQ. So for every person with an IQ of over 100 there is someone with one below that.

    5. A lot of folks in the world have a cursory knowledge of DV, but no understanding of it. I know I didn’t till I came to this site and listened to ALV. So some of these questions carry a certain air of naivete.

    6. At this stage in the game it is only normal in a case of this type to have people on both sides of the fence.
    7. Some of questions seem to be from people who are buying the story. I think the “going too far question” was very telling in that respect. That’s a person, who believes she had reason to defend herself, but maybe went too far.

The judge and JM not withstanding this is not all that horrible.

    I think we’re OK. Let’s not panic.

    • I agree 100% with your #1 comment AL about the jurors…I feel they wanted to hear more…more than what the prosecutor was allowing them to hear…

[quote] 1. Some of these questions are exactly what JM asked and either wouldn’t let her answer or twisted stuff around till the answer got lost. So, they are just asking them again and hoping they can get and answer.[quote]

and I agree with the other commnts in your post too…

    • Do you remember any of the questions you thought favored Jodi? I only tuned in near the end and so missed most of the questions.

        • That was a good post Al. They are reasonable points. That’s the kind of perspective I needed to hear. Earlier I was crying, couldn’t eat dinner, and had to go for a long walk to shake the anger. I’m starting to feel better now.

        • Engineer! Should have known. That’s what my sweetheart is … he usually has the voice of reason and logic. I’m the intuitive and feeling.

    • Go Back and listen to the jurors questions when the prosecutor presented his case the jurors were asking questions in favor of Jodi!

So what i think is that they are just challenging each side because they want to be sure or the most conformable when rendering the verdict

  152. It’s almost time for me to leave work. I haven’t had to take any anxiety meds today. I’m sure when “little man” speaks tomorrow….I’ll have to pop one!!!!!

  153. I am trying not to panic. I am not watching now but feel some of the questions weren’t so far fetched. I think that ALV was cut off so much in cross that they need her to elaborate which she is doing well. Some of these jurors do seem to be leaning toward the wild rantings of the State(or HLN) but surely there are 2 or 3 level headed, semi-intelligent jurors who will understand that this relationship was in no way normal and that Jodi felt threatened and could never be a calculating cold-blooded murderer. They surely haven’t all drank the Kool Aid that Nancy Grace is passing around. She is trailer park trash and JVM looks like Michael Jackson dressed like a man dressed like a woman…give them both some propofol!! HLN made a big deal about Jodi tweeting that JM needs anger management or something. That was a very kind way to put it because I think the man needs to be institutionalized and kept in a rubber room for the rest of his life.

      • She gets more disgusting every day as Nasty Disgrace what happened
to them to make them so evil ? I do remember a time when I watched
an it was about lost children or adults stuff like that now it is pure
evil. I do not watch anymore but I had to today some as my puter
signal was out due to storms here. An it was horrid I had to mute
an then they were cutting out parts I know it. Have to watch online
tonight. But the ugly faces I truly only see ugliness spewing out
of all the mouths on hln.

  154. I haven’t had to time to catch up on everyone’s posts today, but I am watching some of the trial right now and now I’m convinced that the jury is tainted.

I’m sure some of you already said this, somewhere in this thread, but their questions remind me of the HLN platform. Also, just like I feared, HLN got a hold of Jodi’s twitter account and will now use to further vilify her. I do hope they quote the one about where Jodi dedicated the finger to NG. Thus far, they’ve only referenced the one about JM’s stature. *giggles*

You know, I am also 100% convinced that HLN and the haters come read what we post. Perhaps, in some, unintended way, we’re feeding the trolls.

    • I’m still NOT convinced that those are Jodi’s words on TWITTER.At least not 100% of them. When another person is in charge of her Twitter account,it could easily mean she(Donavan)may as well write whatever she wants!

  155. I think they at least get that Jodi wasn’t stalking Travis.

They are now looking for other reasons to find Jodi guilty. It’s a cognitive dissonance Type 2 reaction.

We have to stay positive. The tide is turning.

But do not get complacent – get active.

I’m quite upset NOBODY has posted at the Washington post other than ,myself.

Places like that are influential. Neutral people read there. They will not read here.

    • When & where did you post to WaPo? I get their newsfeed. I don’t have a problem writing, ESPECIALLY to try and reverse the damage these bloodthirsty IDIOTS are doing to Alyce AND our Justice system!!

  156. Hey guys, been in the ER AGAIN, power went out early last night, my battery was low on my iPad, so I gave in to my friend, lol!! Had another transfusion about 9 last night & while they normally keep you for 24hrs, I’m a “frequent flier”, (NOT bc I want to be, believe me!), and I have a tendency to be a royal pain until they discharge me. It’s true-the WORST patients are former medical professionals!!
They know I’m not stupid enough to ignore any possible problems from the transfusion, so…
I also have to go back in the AM for more blood tests.. Ugghh!! My veins are completely SHOT!!
Anyways, as you could imagine, most at the hospital were pro-rat-face, (with the exception of my handsome male nurse & the phlebotomist-both of whom I’ve gotten to know over the past 3-4yrs). I just watched HLN & seethed.
When I watched Drew last night,..well, I have an email addy for him & am going to write him tonight. His interview with a fame-seeking former neighbor was SO “leading” AND MISLEADING it made me SICK!!!
Anyways, I’m home, online, watching,…and wrote an email to Chris, my former DV counselor then DV attorney, about several things-BUT, I also asked her if we can have Alyce’s email. I have a feeling I won’t be able to put it on this website if she gives it to me: too much risk of the nuts seeing it. We’ll figure it out if she sends it. I want SOO MUCH to send her words of support & Chris knows her well. If nothing else, when she calls, I’ll have her relay a message from all of us!!

      • Thanks MB, unfortunately I’m used to it. My immune system is shot, (I have 2 autoimmune disorders, Grave’s & SLE), and EVERYTIME I’m on antibiotics, my ulcers bleed & I get really anemic.
I’d give ANYTHING for it to end..but we don’t see it happening, especially with my other health problems.
At LEAST I can say I’ve set a GOOD record!! It’s been almost a full month since my last fracture-considering I was averaging 2-3/month for the past 2yrs, believe me, WE are thrilled!! (My docs & I 😉 )

        • Soooo sorry to hear this, Lainey. I have the opposite, Hashimoto’s, and I struggle with that. Feel better, my friend!

          • Hi AA, I have a daughter with hachimotos desease too. She’s only 15 and she got this since she was 11. Is vey hard for me because she always have to be changing her synthroid dosage because her hormones are always out of wack.

            • Audrey, may I make a suggestion? There’s a wonderful site that talks about natural thyroid hormone: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com

When I learned about that, my life changed DRAMATICALLY. I never did well on Synthroid and I came to find out that only a small percentage of patients do. Natural thyroid hormone has been around for more than a hundred years. It’s cheaper and it works so well. But of course, there’s no patent and no marketing behind it (as there is with Synthroid by Abbot Labs), and I could write a book about Big Pharma and their deceptions, but I’ll stop there.

That site has a LOT of other recommendations about vitamins and other things that can help dramatically as well. A gluten-free diet can also arrest Hashimoto’s.

        • Wow, girls. It seems we are all in good company. I have Grave’s, RA, and Sjogren’s. Yum. It’s really knocked the wind out of me both figuratively and literally. I can’t believe I’m still married!

  157. Why was Travis’ girlfriend of 7 years not a witness for either the defense if he abused her or the prosecution showing he didn’t abuse her ???????
Seems to me she would be an important person to have.

    • I have that question too-considering the defenses case, it would be a no-brainier to bring her in to “disprove” abuse in a relationship…unless, of course, there was nothing to “disprove”..?!

    • I’ve repeatedly said that Deanna was as much of a victim of TA’s sadistic behaviour as Jodi. No,I have no evidence on that, just an intense gut feeling having lived a similar relationship;you know the one where the other person wants you, then maybe not so much, then maybe they want you but jyst as their best friend and not sexually, then they need you back…You got the point!I have a feeling Deanna was drawn into such a relationship with Travis.Who else would stay his loyal best friend and still have FB photos on their account, with comments showing that she clearly was not over him??? She should have testified.Period!Maybe there would be some invaluable light to be shed during her testimony.

    • I remember the list of witnesses for Jodi coming out it said 2 of Travis’ exes. one was Lisa Andrews but did we get a second ex? Mimi hall was for the prosecution right? I think Deanna may testify

  158. There just seems to be too many similarities between the juror questions and what is being spewed by the media. All it is going to take is one question addressing something that was not brought out in testimony, but was on HLN.

I have this horrible lump in my throat after hearing those questions. 🙁

    • Me too. Seriously, all the hate spewed out there is so easily accessible via smartphones, twitter, FB, TV, etc.

It’s not like the jurors live in a fucking cave!! Give me a break!

But, no, I know there’s at least one or two jurors capable of looking past Jodi’s original lies and really see the evidence or lack thereof presented to them.

    • It could be the ‘hundredth monkey theory’ also. Not that I want to defend the jury, since they have done me wrong before…

    • well, maybe it just shows that there is an idiot or two on the jury who think like nancy disgrace and co.

      • This is not done in my state and I first thought it was kind of neat. What I find strange…if they are suppose to discuss the case until it is I’ve and they are behind close door, isn’t this kind of discussing it? Would a juror think, hey one of us here think she stole the gun from grandpa. Then your going to start to think what the other members are thinking.

      • I havent gotten to watch all of the questions yet – got interrupted.
I do have something to say, that some may not agree with.

I dont think its worth looking so far into the jury’s questions.
I ask questions about things without judgement, simply looking for an answer.
I also ask questions for clarification.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think, that maybe the jury (not all, I’m sure there’s an idiot or two) are simply asking questions to clear any confusion in their minds considering this is a DP trial? I sure as hell wouldn’t want to go to bed at night thinking, “I should have asked Alyce that question while I had a chance.” Regardless of the context.

I would be more afraid if the jury werent asking these questions.
It would show me they were assuming things, and you know what that means.

I’d much rather Alyce get to clarify and debunk the bullshit Martinez spewed in the jury’s faces.

Stay positive all, the negativity is contagious.
And that’s something I’d rather not catch.

  159. I have watched this trial from the beginning. Also followed this entire case. What I am getting from today is that the jury has already made their decision from the questions they have asked the judge to ask Ms LaViolette, shich I may add are not that different in substance from the questions they asked the judge to ask Dr Samuals. So with that said, In my opinion their minds were made up way before the defense witnesses took the stand in their testimonys. With that being quite evident I feel this trial isn’t about whether or not she is guilty because she has already confessed. She even offered a plee to the State to plead guilty if they took the Death Penalty off the table. I believe this trial is about whether or not she lives or dies. This is not a fair trial and the jury should have been sequestered. I see a lot of the questions being asked today in a lot of the internet blogs of those who hate Jodi and believe she should be put to death. That in itself should be brought to the appellant court when her lawyers file her appeal and someone should be getting all this information for her lawyers if they do not have someone getting to them already. This is not a fair trial!

    • Amen Olivia…. I totally agree their minds are already made up long before Alyce took the stand. Pathetic state …… I don”t think jurors should be allowed to ask questions, as you can see from the ones today that are stupid and bias.

I feel appeal is coming on…. they want Jodi dead, it’s all about her not about the facts or the evidence.

My heart breaks tonight for the entire defense team.

  160. So I just came back and missed nearly all of today’s trial… and it looks like I’m lucky to have missed it. So that leads me to believe the jury IS watching hln and if so – is there any way to prove that for mistrial? Could it be a case of some men on the jury are abusive so they don’t like ALV and the others are women or men who know abused men/women or are abused themselves, so are trying to understand themselves, perhaps? And lastly, how do they choose which jurors will actually decide? I mean it just seems so stupid to have all these jurors sit through this whole process, make their decisions, THEN choose which ones to use! (Of course defense will pick those swayed toward them and pros would do the same.)

If anyone can help answer these questions, it would help me and I may sleep better tonight. 🙂 Thanks.

    • I’ve heard 12 jurors will me randomly drawled. The other will be let go or held until the verdict is reached in case a jury member can’t complete the job

      • Thanks, Ann, now I see the point of the extra jurors. But still, in any other state the pros and def both get to interview a juror and decide against or for him/her (jury selection). I hope this was done, here, at least.

  161. https://www.facebook.com/ellejphotography/posts/10200425304810766

another piece of Travis from some girl he knew but the friendship dwindled
due to the new boyfriend of the girl disliked Travis for his cockiness.

I found it interesting at least some Mormon’s are true to Christianity.

You do have to sign into FB though as it is not a private page it is public
but won’t let you read unless signed in.

    • oh geez, Travis isn’t telling her jack shit from the grave. Travis is with his guides going over his life and healing, because he needs it desperately.

that is her mind playing tricks on her

Notice how her husband didn’t like him? That’s because some guys can smell a bullshit user from miles away…not like the woman, she even says: “The way he made you feel like the most beautiful woman in the room”

uh, huh, that’s because is was a line dear lady, and you still haven’t figured it out.

      sad, sad, sad

    • Too long a post to even have the curiosity to read, frankly! I just scanned and all I wanna say to these people is WAKE UP,YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW HIM!Nobody BUT Jody did and look where she is now!!!!!

  162. I’ve had a really bad couple of days. So I thought I must be in bad mood and most of these jury questions seemed already asked & answer I got a little worried. Then I hurried to see if you wonder people could cheer me up but it seem we are all a little bum fuddled. A couple questions I felt like were very good. The ones about her smiling at Jodi and smiling was very upsetting to me. She’s a defense witness!! What more do you need to know that she hasn’t already said about “that “

  163. I NEVER watch HLN but just turned it on to see what they were saying. I have to say GOD BLESS YOU, DEFENSE ATTORNEY ALEX SANCHEZ! He said To leave Jodi alone about what she has her friend tweet for her, and that JM DESERVES to be called “Little Man” because he IS little… with a BIG MOUTH! And he’s been “after Jodi for months and months now”. Basically, if JM can dish it out, he should be man enough to take it. FUCK YOU,, JUAN MARTINEZ!!!

    • get down dude yeah… that disgraceful little weasel needs to crawl back under his slimy little rock.

    • get down dude yeah… that disgraceful little weasel needs to crawl back under his slimy little rock. He has tortured all of us with his obsessive, questioning. the same questions over and over, they’ve been answered but he won’t stop!!!! Like an annoying little pos.

    • I saw that part. Amazingly, BOTH lawyers thought the whole Twitter thing was WAY overblown.

  164. Well what do you all think? I mean AL was in the emergency room over the weekend with panic attacks, and palpitations…she has had threats. its terrible can we call all these badgerers out on amazon? Think something needs to be done.

    • Oh Dear Lord, dave.

Thank you for publically posting that about Alyce LaViolette. That poor woman. She’s only trying to save an abused woman from the death penalty and that makes her so horrible?

What is happening to human decency?

      • And who will ever want to reach out and help in the future knowing what can happen to them.

      • These people are true haters and spewing their venom all over amazon. Is there a problem with voicing your opinion up there to support Jodi, and AL. Call out the venamous snakes.

  165. 2 words: Tunnel Vision

    Good lord those questions were
beyond an insult to my intelligence

  166. HLN is outraged by Jodi Arias’s Twitter account.

She’s not allowed to vent while facing the death penalty? And all the vicious media attacks? How is HLN ‘better’ than Arias blowing off steam?

    • Her (if they are hers) tweets are awesome!!! Love the one finger salute to Nancy!!!! Yahoo!!! I think we all should bomb Nancy Disgraces page with pics of 1 finger salutes! Lol

      • We are ” TEAM JODI” don’t need to stoop to that level. Integrity , morals, and ethics. I am not buying that it’s Jodi’s twitter.

Read it carefully and you will see some mistakes on that site to know it’s not her. Her family has been super quiet during this trial and I believe they want it to remain that way for the seek of their family member Jodi to get a fair trail. Yeah I know she has gotten but you dont see her family bashing the media, social media or anything else.

    • But it is not really JODI so they need to SHUT IT. I could understand
if for a fact it was JODI but it is not. I could make up a account myself
an match pictures up of the trial etc. hln is going to take it too far
like they do everything though now.

Like where is Bryan Carr? remember him? ya all bull crap stirring
the pot up is all it is an the haters are on a whole new rage now.

      • It’s Donavan Bering that is in charge of that Twitter acount.Still some of the things there do NOT sopund like Jodi at all.And NO ,as much as we all hate NG I do not think Jodi is so rude as to like that photo giving the finger!!!NO WAY people!Maybe it’s Donavan writing SOME of Jodi’s thought but the rest is HER own BS!!

        • I also don’t believe it’s JODI Twitter account. I think it’s some scam artist go to here jodiarias.com page and click on buy the art piece…. 5k WTF seriously…. I was shaking my head all morning .

Why would she start her own page for her art work if it was to be done through this site? the art work normally started out low, not at 5k.

There are a very questionable post on her Twitter that are not JODI…..

I don’t twitter, nor donate especially since I talked to Willmont office today,…. very interesting conversation I had a with a sweet gal. Be careful where you donate….

Praying for JODI….. My God set her free

          • I remember after Casey was acquitted, there was a fake Twitter account by “RealCasey86” who was Tweeting as if she was Casey watching HLN. It was obviously phony because it was taken down in a few days, but it was funny!

“Watching Nancy Grace discuss me right now….#OhSheMad” LOL.

        • maria…on the link below….

I didn’t realize that it was Nancy Grace who posted that picture of Jodi’s finger…So Nancy Grace is at her finest b***s*** again…stirring up more wickedness in her witch pot….

And because Nancy Grace posted the picture…Jodi responded, “Actually Nancy, that finger was for you. Have a nice day.”

Well at least she told her to have a nice day…LOL…

          http://www.mediaite.com/tv/apparently-jodi-arias-is-tweeting-during-her-murder-trial-doesnt-like-nancy-grace/

  167. I’m praying for Jodi … Jurors questions are bothering me a bit as I’m agreeing that HLN is absolutely something that they are indeed watching… I’m hoping I’m wrong. BUT these question represent only a handful of jurors so that’s positive… I’m so over hearing ‘Justice for Travis’… Gag me now!!! He got his justice… Jodi needs Justice by way of acquittal!

  168. prosecutor said, “Beyond the scope”….

    judge answered, “Overruled”…

Alyce is able to continue answering the juror question…

    Still looks good…

  169. Here’s the sad thing, after the exploitation of AL, all of the hate that has been spewed, I would think it would give cause to all experts in the field, to seriously reconsider taking criminal cases because of public hatred, cost to their careers and damage to their personal lives. Which Negates any person getting a fair trial should any of us or our families ever be put in this terrible position. It stinks! I hope all on Team Jodi keep the faith, continue to be strong. Bless Jodi and her family. God help us all.

  170. Okay my lovelies!

I have had a chance to take a break and come back with a clear head. With regards to juror questions:

It is the obligation of the jury to come back with a just verdict for everyone in the case – meaning Jodi and Travis, their families, and their friends.

As a result, the jurors should not have made up their mind either way about which way they want to vote until deliberations because testimony is not yet over.

These questions – about any possibility of Jodi being the abuser or Jodi going into overkill shows just that – the jurors want to be sure, very sure, that they are going to make the right decision because their decision will be heartbreaking for one party – either Jodi or Travis.

Their questions were okay. I think. If we look at them objectively. We all here believe Jodi is innocent. We believed it from the beginning, and we will not be swayed. If we were to look at this from the point of view from someone who has not made up their mind at all, these questions would seem logical.

There were questions that seemed positive for both sides, and so I think it is just that – a jury that did not make up their minds. They must be confused, and who could blame them? Martinez really twisted facts around.

They haven’t had time to go through all the evidence once more, that is why they are confused and asking questions. Once they have the chance to review all the evidence, review all the testimony, they should be able to come to the right decision.

Let’s trust that they will! Keep the faith people 🙂

  171. I just have one more question – for those of you who have been able to watch the entire trial

With regards to the 16-page tirade, did Martinez ask Alyce if that could have been a way for Travis to get rid of Jodi?

I swear I read that description somewhere. When a juror asked that, it sparked my memory. I can’t remember if I read it in a comment section on a pro-Travis site, if Martinez mentioned it, or if it was mentioned on HLN, or even if Travis’s friends described it that way.

    Anybody?

    • I seem to remember one friend of Travis’s saying that. Travis had him read
it an he said do you not think that is rather harsh? an are you not afraid
she may hurt you? some bull crap like that. An I can’t remember which friend
because they all tell the same stories an all have the same BLANK STARE
on their faces when they tell the lies over an over on tv.

I can’t remember if JM asked though maybe somebody can though?

      • I know that it was one of the guys who found him/ a roommate . he said it on interviews but I do not remember him taking the stand it might also have been on 48 hrs

  172. Hi everyone. It seems I should be glad I missed the after lunch atrocities…

With all the ongoing bullshit since day one of this charade, we expected an uphill battle. The fact that they may not be buying the DV in its entirety is alarming, but it’s not license for us to give up.

Jodi survived the abuse. She survived being in a jail cell for almost 5 years now. She has survived sitting in that courtroom every day listening to Massengil spew his bullshit. Jennifer and Kirk are dynamite attorneys…it’s obvious the jury has been influenced by HLN. The defense KNOWS this. They have PROOF of the media circus. There are mistrial motions still pending.

I know APPEAL is not exactly where we were hoping this would fall. But we CANNOT lose hope when we STILL HAVE AVENUES to pursue. Come on guys…If WE give up and act dejected, what will do for Jodi and her family?

We need to ban together and support each other’s disappointment and collectively hold hands and trudge onward. I’m a firm believer in “IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH HELL – KEEP GOING”.

We need to keep going for Jodi.

  173. Ok so “Virgins” just were attracted to Saint Travis an none of them ever did anything.
An none of them every wanted to marry him either. I just do not get it ?

Like Jodi stated…………..there is just something off about that boy ‘

Elixsxha J Schxabel December 29, 2012 at 2:33am via mobile
I desperately needed to hear his voice to cheer me up. I just knew Travis would have just the right thing to say as my marriage was falling apart. I just knew Travis would make things all better, if only I could reach him. I sent several messages on Facebook even. It just wasn’t like him, to not get back to me. I knew something was wrong.

I love Travis and miss him and think of him every time I drive by his house, hear a vonage commercial, and hear him whistling or singing when he went to the bathroom. Living in his house for a month, when he took a stranded friend in, leaves me with fond memories. I got to know him so very well during that time. To have shared the bathroom where he was brutally murdered, haunts me. We used to get ready for church together using those double sinks and sang silly songs while we did so. I have way too many funny memories that I cherish. You really get to know someone when you “live” with them. Travis was like a brother. A very protective brother. Even allowed me to share his king size bed to protect me from his 7 other roommates at the time from “pouncing on me” middle of the night! Lol this makes me laugh so hard bc I made a barricade of his pillows and stuffed lion to keep Travis a man of his word and away from late night temptations. He would always says “Elisha, this isn’t necessary! I can barely even talk to you over the mound of pillows!” he complained every night. Knowing Travis and anyone that did, knows how necessary my barricade was! Lol I sure do miss those late night chats. I really don’t think we ever slept much. We would chat literally all night!

    • Sounds like our very own Travis, the wanna be Cult leader getting his hooks is some more vulnerable women to build his following.

      • Interesting that she states “knowing Travis, and everyone who did” … knows that the barricade was necessary. Sooooo everyone knew he was not virginal. Further wouldn’t a married woman sleeping in the same bed with a man – even if it was not sexual – be considered inappropriate in the Mormon church? If he was such a great guy and just wanted to help out a friend in her time of need, he could have slept on the coach downstairs.

        • What strikes me more … why would he tell her to sleep in the same bed so he could protect her from the roommates? What kind of roommates were they if she needed protection from them? Furthermore, he could have slept of the floor and let her have the bed.

          • 7 roommates? He only had a ” I think” 5 bedroom house….. When he was killed he only had three roommates… Hmmmm

            very interesting

        • MB
I just came in and I missed the trial today But from what I am reading sounds like the Jury has been watching HLN and The CULT is in full force on Amazon, What if the Jury feels pressured to find Jodi Guilty because of the Massive campaign against her in the Media, I feel so sorry for her, She looks so thin. How can people be so mean these FREAKS go on HLN every night they are horrid. Dr.Drew should be in prison. We have Expert witnesses being harassed and abused The Judge actually allowed abuse of witnesses. I have to say GUS was right. I think this should be a mistrial based on the Media LYNCH MOB its crazy!!

        • Exactly what I was thinking? or that huge chair he had in his room even
but still usually if you have a house that big you think a young man that
was truly so innocent most certainly would sleep on the couch.

    • I’m sorry, but that just sounds weird. Why did they need to share a bed? Get an air mattress.

    • Rhonda…

She says, ” Knowing Travis and anyone that did, knows how necessary my barricade was! Lol I sure do miss those late night chats.”

She admitted to knowing the kind of person Travis was…sounds like he was that sexual aroused Travis…interested in the female anatomy of many females…and interested in her’s too…

She is crazy if she thinks that we are buying her crap that they chatted all night with the pillow barricade between them…the fact that she said that Travis complained about the barricade leads me to believe that he made it to the other side of the barricade before the night was over…

Come on….one sexually deviate horny male in the same bed with one female night after night…there is no way that I would believe that the two of them didn’t do more than chat…maybe the anal thing that he likes so well?

So in her words she got to know him “so very well”…I just bet she did…

And in her own words, “we shared the same bathroom”…I bet that is not all that she shared either…

She is not that naive and we aren’t either….

      • Ya I know I am glad I am the only one that is not naive enough to
actually believe that crap. An that is right not a one would ever
get up there an tarnish that white dress that is what makes me
livid about this stuff the women out there sitting there I know
watching this trial an not saying a damn word for they were
all just innocent virgins. GOOD GRIEF !

    • I am kind of lost, who is Donuvan? Is this the person who is posting on Jodi’s twitter account?

Please don’t tell me this person is going to stab Jodi in the back if it is. 🙁

      • Donavon is that woman that sits in the front row. Sometimes by
Jodi’s mama even. But she is a big lady with glasses very short hair. The haters
had a photo out with her circled calling her Norm…….that big
guy from Friends. She is there every day that I have watched
she does not miss any days I don’t think.

  174. I’m going to look into it. Alyce has been fighting for justice for Jodi. She is knowledgeable, stands up to the slimy slug Martinez. She deserves some support. I will go up again, I did post some venom of my own against the haters up on amazon. Now its time to bring in my african mambo to put bring them down to size.

    • My friend Stuart was attacked on Amazon he gave 5 stars to Laviolettes book wrote a scathing condemnation to the haters. I thought its hysterical just in a couple of days he has gotten i think over 100 replies he wrote to amazon complaining its illegal and witness intimidation tampering defamation.

  175. Go get them dave! One thing for sure, If Jodi let a big F_A_R_T in the court room, the Headlines on HLN and the newspapers would be, “Jodi gassed the court room!” Just a little humor, lol

  176. just peeking in…. I am watching 12 Angry Men tonight. For those feeling scared tonight, I HIGHLY recommend it.

    Peace.

    • Hey hero…

Even heroes need a crutch now and then….

      All it takes is ONE…

      Keep your chin up….we aren’t defeated yet….

Peace right back to you – sleep well my friend…

  177. I think we should look at it this way- There surely must be a couple of clear minded people on that jury who can explain it logically to those who are obviously nincompoops. It’s down to a battle between good and evil, between thinkers and nincompoops.

    • Yes, that’s what I mean. 12 Angry Men. It only takes one juror who refuses to convict based on evidence to the contrary. I don’t see 12 people concluding she planned the attack and then it simply gets down to who most likely initiated the violence. Even just using statistics alone, where would they bet their money if forced to? And then when you pull in evidence on top of it, how can they say she started it and then go home with a clear conscience. (Of course I do see the HLN crowd do it every night.)

  178. Someone needs to utter these words to JM. Perhaps Jennifer Wilmott or Nurmi in closing arguments “Until this moment, JM, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness. Let us not assassinate the truth or this young woman further, JM. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?” I know there was a quote that I thought fitted the way this whole trial had been handled.

  179. AAAAAEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! GD H
N “Alyce should pull up her big girl panties…anything online is game because she knew what she was getting into”??!!

WHO was that BITCH?? I’ll let HER know to pick up her own GD “big girl panties”!! I’m PISSED!!??

  180. JUROR QUESTION to Alyce a few minutes ago…”How can we be sure that she hasn’t manipulated you as she has manipulated others?”

No matter what language we speak in…

It’s still a “yes” that the jurors have more than likely been watching the television news on this trial…

That would explain why they asked that question to Alyce….”as she has manipulated others?”

    YEP

    YES

    Si

    Ye

    Shi-de

    Oui

    Ja

    Ita or Certa

    • Well Martinez was the one who said Jodi manipulated people …. :/ that question may be coming from that.

      • thanks….I probably missed that during the trial….I wasn’t able to watch it every minute…I have clients during the day and can only watch it when I’m not busy…tv in the waiting room…

  181. Just wondering if NG’s fiancée committed suicide because of all the S**T that continually spews from her mouth having overwhelmed him? Also, the biggest abusers besides TA are JM, VP,NG,MB,JVM,JJ,RS and the rest of the HLN “law experts” who abuse the right to call themselves experts as well as the right to call themselves human.

  182. That’s interesting – Travis told a woman to see the bishop because her husband wouldn’t allow her to be around other men or talk to other men.

Yet on the phone sex tape he’s acting the same way. Jodi even wrote Abe a letter saying that they had to keep their distance, and had to forward a copy to Travis to prove she had done so.

    • I thought questions for ALV came after she was dismissed? Bleh, I am confused on the timeline now. Some of these questions hint that the juror who wrote them is still struggling to believe it was self defense.

      • Yeah, I’m not sure either. I do remember seeing/hearing/reading somewhere that the jurors can submit questions any time during testimony. So it’s possible that she got a couple questions in before being dismissed.

I agree, there is at least one juror that is having a problem with the point of Alyce’s testimony.

  183. Jumping on you tube to bolster up Alyce’s You tube video responses…..

  184. Dr. Drew and his talking heads….Alyce explailned….her friends are sitting on the front row in the same directional line of vision behind where the defense team….

  185. I wonder if they are going to make fun of the bright red head on Dr. Drew tonight for wearing her hair behind her ears like they did Jodi the first time she wore her hair behind her ears?

  186. If this was premeditated and Jodi had the IQ of Einstein. Wouldn’t she be smart enough to wear gloves????

  187. “not privy” to conversations?

Last I checked there were EIGHT THOUSAND emails, and god only knows how many text messages.

Alyce was privy to most all the convos, considering they were living in separate states during much of their relationship.

  188. you know what we need now is the secret a page or two thousands of comments of just good stuff to talk about no bad stuff no talking about this trial in a bad way lets talke about seeing a good outcome of the trial lets visulize the jury coming in with the verdic of not gilty of anything vision of what we want to see JW as someone who cares and the family of travis caring and the jury smiling and the hates not hateing wonder if we could keep it up or would someone poke in a bad comment just a thought. we could talke about what god would do or the nice weather or the good time we had with a family member but a whole day of only good things to say what do you think of this idea do you think we can do it

LOVE A RESPONCE FOR THE TEAM HERE

  189. I’m annoyed by these questions. But I am thrilled with Alyce’s answers. She has spoken with clarity and truth. Hopefully it shines a light for Jodi and all victims of abuse.

I feel bad for Jodi. She looks so upset. 🙁

  190. I am catching up on the trial right now as I was out all day . . . my biggest concern was hearing Alyce LaViolette refer to Jodi as a MURDERER a couple of times. Dr. Samuels did something similar, talking about the horrible crime. Really bad choice of words because if it is self-defense it isn’t a crime, much less a murder.

  191. all the women, with the exception of Jinkasourus, seemed sexually repressed to me.

  192. Hey everyone 😉

We let some new commentors giving them the benefit of the doubt as first time posters. Please link comments if I don’t catch them. It really helps for all of us to monitor the hate. For the rest of the night though, I won’t be letting new posters in. I figure if they really want to post here, they will understand and try again later as many have done.

    • ETA: everyone rest assured that the defense has NOT rested their case as of today. So there is still time to correct whatever direction the jury is swaying. Have faith.

  193. On the contrary, the juror’s question showed contemplation of the issues, and showed valid interest in Alyce’s knowledge and experience.

    • Also don’t you think it’s possible some jurors would try to make their questions as neutral as possible so they wouldn’t give away what they were thinking. I think if they had more questions about the things Jm brought up is because he is confusion as hell.

  194. I have heard it all now, I really have. That picture of Alyce dining with the defense team that was posted on a hater site. On their table is a placard with the number 36 on it. To me it’s table 36, nothing more, nothing less.

According to one bunch of minions that number 36 is Travis speaking to them from the grave, because he would have been 36 on his next birthday. (fad to twilight zone music)

I don’t for one minute believe, even with his issues that Travis would condone all this hate and attacking people.

    • Gail,
I dont know why but the whole placard with 36 on it made me laugh. Say travis was talking beyond the grave? Don’t you think he’d send a clearer message such as visit his sisters? I know you don’t believe that silliness anyhow, just saying. Did you see the article written about the hate toward AL? The media IMO took a stand in saying that was wrong by even acknowledging that is going on. That article made my day because indirectly, it was calling out the haters. I find it ironic that their behavior could be one of the major factors in a verdict being overturned on appeal.

      • I agree, if that number 36 is as they believe, Travis talking from the grave, I find it incredibly insightful that he’s doing it at a table where the defense team and an expert in Domestic Violence are eating! 🙂

I think the media was shocked at the scope of hatred directed at Alyce. Honestly, I am shocked, they are like all those bugs in the movie The Mummy, scurrying all over the Internet.

More pictures titled “Sharing another meal” showing Jennifer, Alyce and the other female lawyer. Looks like the black and white pictures were taken through a window or doorway.

https://www.facebook.com/Justice4Travis?fref=ts scroll down not to far

    • That is so freaking stupid. He would be 35 right NOW, why wouldn’t he send a “35” placard from beyond the grave???

  195. The fact there’s so many thoughtful questions shows there is a split in the juror’s viewpoint. This is no slam dunk for Juan. Alyce showed a big picture…

  196. They are buying the “man hater” card sent out by the media.

If that’s not proof they are ignoring their admonishment, I don’t know what is.

    • I thought of that right away and I agree with you. These questions (some of them) tell a lot about what they ARE reading/watching.

  197. I need to win the lottery so work will not interfere with my watching the trial. 🙂

My phone calls and meetings kicked in at the same time as the morning session and hit a lull…when the morning session broke for lunch.

The afternoon session started late. How late? When I headed out on my way home.

By the time I got home, I had to tune in the trial on HLN (so my husband could watch with me). I lasted about 15 minutes before I gave up – long enough to 1) be graced with the domestic violence survivor’s opinion that Jodi Arias couldn’t possibly have been abused by Travis Alexander because they were together less than a year and 2) to hear Jane Velez-Mitchell actually say that the jury was telling everyone exactly what the jurors thought of Alyce LaViolette (of course, it has to be negative because it IS HLN’s Too Dumb Crew). Hopefully, we can find enough clips on youtube to be able to piece together today’s events.

And just an aside…my husband has decided to join this lively team of posters. While his primary concern has always been that Jodi’s right to a fair trial is preserved, Alyce LaViolette’s testimony has persuaded him that this killing COULD have been self-defense – a shift in opinion that I believe is much more common that the news media would want anyone to believe.

    Goodnight, everyone!

PS – I just read the “new posters” message. He will try tomorrow, but please let us know if first posts have to be delayed again.

  198. quote from a facebook support site

“ohhhhh………just heard from Beth Karas on HLN, as Aura Olivas suggested, the questions from the jury are only coming from a skeptical” half—-to less than half” of the 17 jurors.”

    • it’s still bad. the reason that they don’t want jurors to talk about the case before the end is so they don’t start forming an impression based on what other people think. at this point that could still happen cuz the other jurors are being so blatant about it.

  199. “I don’t think someone has to be perfect to be a battered woman or victim of abuse.”

THANK YOU. Perfection was never the point!! It’s how they are treated by someone else that IS the point!

  200. “Please remember the admonition.”

Yeah right!!!! Is it any clearer after today that they are in fact NOT heeding the admonition? I KNEW this would be a problem!

Now HLN will pat the jurors on the back for having the same ignorant, asinine questions they’ve been asking. How do I know this without watching? Because they are a three trick pony and it’s one of their tricks. FFFFFFUUUUUU HLN.

    • Where in the trial was it mentioned about Jodi’s friend statements that she was manipulative etc? Martinez?

      • Yes, JM took the statement from one person, a friend from grade school and another who she worked with that said JA was nice to good looking men who were people she waited on. I worked as a waitress in high school and to work my way through college and if you wanted good tips you were as nice as could be, so does that mean I have manipulative evil tendancies?

        • my,my. That one. The question sounded like some friend had said horrible things about her.
Yes, thanks, I remember. Jodi probably got bigger tips by being kinder to customers. I also worked my way all throughout college. They always gave me the students tables because they considered them bad tippers. Surprise, most tipped me very well, and the other senior waitors/waitresses got angry at me 🙂

        • And men pay the bill a lot, and still tip the best. When I last waited tables, I wore tight fitting shirts because I knew most men like boobies and I have big ones, and it got me better tips. I’m a manipulative whore. What can I say?

  201. I have enjoyed listening to Ms Laviolette. I have also learned many things about DV. I realize how many times JM has not allowed her to finish an answer or objected to her testimony. I feel some in the jury could not logically follow what she is saying. It is difficult with all the yelling and demanding and “Isn’t that possible?”. I can only pray the jury may have found their questions answered. I pray for all the defense team and the Judge and jury, but especially for Jodi!

    • That is JMs tactic. Stick to the absolute question – No veering into unasked territory.

  202. Ok here’s a news flash to all the lesbian haters out there…

Being a lesbian does NOT mean you want to have sex with EVERY woman you see.

    MMmkay?

No, I am not a lesbian before anyone asks. But I have known lesbians and never have I got the impression that just because they like another woman that they want to automatically sleep with them.

I am hoping that the jury is just bringing HLN’s questions to Alyce to clear up the MISCONCEPTIONS they are putting out about this trial.

But the question about Alyce having feelings for Jodi – or that she was a man hater – those are just low blows that don’t belong in a court of law.

    • That question was the lowest of the low!Not to mention how offensive it is to ALV and her 35 years of experience, her qualifications and expertise! But what are we to expect when the Prosecutor HIMSELF asks such questions???Makes the jury think they are entitled to ask irrelevant questions!
And yes,you are right!People have got to move on from all the misconceptions regarding gay people(no,for the record Im NOT GAY EITHER!)
Martinez should be ashamed of himself for having resorted to petty arguments to prove that both the Defense’s experts didnt do a thorough job and were biased because they have feelings for the defendant.WTF??He should focus more on proving Premeditation,an accusation he was so willing to charge Jodi with when he knew he had no case!!

    • That (or these) juror(s) who asked the ‘lesbian’ and ‘man hater’ questions must have heard these comments about ALV somewhere else. Especially the one about her ‘smiling’ at Jodi, must have been staring at her to ‘catch her in the act’ during pauses.
But I guess Martinez brought it up in inuendos too.
But at least her answers cleared the air in the jury room if that comes up.

    • My eldest is a very proud lesbian-and I’m VERY PROUD of HER!! I have also had many gay friends-both male & female, have been active in the past in LGBT issues, and have NEVER known:
      1. A gay man wanting to hit on every, (or even most! lol!), straight men!
      2. A gay man attracted to young boys-in fact most gay men I’ve known HATE pedophiles
      3. A gay woman wanting to hit on every woman, (again, or even most-lesbians tend to be even more secretive & stay within their “group”)
      4. A gay woman wanting or attracted to young girls-in fact lesbians are RABID against pedophiles!

    • I agree. I also don’t understand why the judge allowed so many hypotheticals in the court proceedings when hypotheticals are not real circumstances. To me listening to the testimony of Ms LaViolette and the Martinez, he tried to get her to cave on many ocassions but because of her experience he couldn’t. So the only way he could turn that around is to present her with hypothetical situations, which have nothing what-so-ever to do with the evidence in this case. It’s like allowing hearsay… I just don’t get it!

    • I can add to that. I was a over the road truck driver an one of my
trainers happened to be gay. She was way more normal than
some of the PIG MEN that only wanted to try to get you too
sleep with them instead of learning to drive cross country.
The owner of the company told me well you know she is different
an I said yes an I will be glad to be with someone that may
want to work instead of worrying about playing so much.

An she was a good teacher an never flirted with me or came
      on to me etc.

Not all gays are attracted to you just because you talk to them
      that is stupid.

I would rather be in a room with a gay person then a straight out
PIG that only wanted to screw with your head or get in your pants
      like Travis any day.

  203. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/jodi-arias-twitter-strike-back-prosecutors-pundits-article-1.1313524
So, guys…what is your opinion of this? I personally think its a bad idea. I know Jodi wants to get her voice out there, and is probably having some fun with it, but it probably isn’t a good idea..?? The jury is what bothers me, they are not supposed to watch TV or media etc regarding this, but Twitter…..I just think it’s not smart. comments?

    • I don’t think it can hurt her case. I think jodi feels powerless and may be taking back some power by making those remarks. She’s become a fighter. Perhaps, she also feels she has nothing left to lose so why not? But in the end, I agree with you that she should refrain only because the jury is sequestered. I don’t agree with the pundits who are using this as fodder for her being a ‘sociopath’ though. I think it shows she is angry with martinez and is lashing out back.

        • Vicky I totally agree…… She has everything to lose at this point in the game….. Lashing out and wanting to take control is proving she can be manipulative , and vindictive through a social medica site.

If it’s this character she was in jail with that is creating all this drama, I don’t trust her as far as I could throw her.

    • Anna…I found another web link below….

    • My personal feelings when I heard this was it is a bad idea. Honestly, when I heard some of the tweets, what came to my mind was “arrogance”. And that is the same thing I felt when she made the comment that no jury would convict her.

I can appreciate that she is angry, and she wants to lash out, but this is not the time. But, right now she is fighting for her life and her defense team is down to the wire, they have one more witness and they’ve had their time at bat.

There has always been a part of me that felt Jodi doesn’t realize the seriousness of this situation, at times I see a child like innocence in her that perhaps she doesn’t believe anything bad will come out of this.

The media is jumping all over every little thing she does, from taking a pill to moving a notebook, why give them something else to use against her is how I feel.

Just my opinion, I think the twitter account was not a good idea.

      • How do you know its really her it can be another fake friend or account! She can;t use social media.

      • We don’t know that this twitter account is acutally Jodi’s words. Anyone can make up a twitter account and use information from the internet to spin things. I do think Jodi is very immature for her age and this could be from several things that has happened in her life.

I would really think if her attorneys knew they would put a halt to this……….. ASAP.

The media loves to draw up drama……….. especially when it comes to this case. Don’t believe everything you read on the Web……

        • I read an article that said her attorneys were not happy about her having a twitter account. I think it was yesterday, I posted an article about Jodi being on twitter and SJ confirmed she has a twitter account.

  204. Earth to HLN: Just because you have an DV victim on your show claiming that there is no way Jodi is a victim of DV because Jodi’s situation is different from theirs does not make it so. No two DV cases are alike! Being a victim of DV does not make you an expert on everyone else’s case,

Although I do agree, if you are a DV victim, you’d be able to recognize DV in a case similar to yours. However, unfair for a person to claim no DV exists just because Jodi was not treated the way they were!

    • After listening to ALV and getting well educated in the emotional and psychological aspects of DV, it would seem that those types of abuse are almost worse than the physical aspects. That would make it all the less likely for an outsider that a situation involving abuse existed in a particular couple. Its a lot harder to see that sort of damage from the outside than something overt like a bruise.

      • I agree Al, the scars of emotional and psychological abuse are deeper and they take longer to heal. And sadly, they are the hardest to prove.

I grew up in a family who put the ‘fun’ in dysfunctional. I suffered low self esteem, the majority of my childhood years were spent being told I was stupid, and I was ugly and over time I came to believe that. I was the kid in class who would rather die than have the teacher call my name to answer a question. I am dyslexic, but when I went to school, it wasn’t really understood, and they added another label to the mix, I was ‘retarded’.

I always felt that no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t quite get it right. I learned to work with the dyslexia, and I found my own way of compensating for my short comings. I served in the military, and finished my schooling, when I was discharged I continued my education and at 8 months pregnant I waddled up to get my degree.

Those scars never go away, but those scars also made me who I am today.

    • NK,

I hear you loud and clear…. You are so right that no two DV cases are the same. Are there similarties of course. TA strung her around for 2 FK years….. playing mind games, emotional abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse….. This wears on a person after a while, and you could snap if your not strong enough to get the hell out. Many don’t know where to turn for help, and it’s obvious she couldn’t turn to her mother since they didn’t have a close relationship.

I was physical, emotionally, verbal abused for 15 years by my narracustic bastard controlling ex husband. Been divorced for 12 years and he still tries to control my life. It was so bad I couldnt’ even leave the house, and it affected my daughters. Thankfully my son was so young he doesn’t remember any of it. To this day I have not told anyone about my abuse other than my psychiatrist when I was going through my divorce. I remember my ex locking me in our basement when I had to have a hystertomy and walked out on us, luckly I had some very close friends at church that came to help me. I have kept journals of all the abuse to one day show my children once my son was grown… When I sit and read them now, I cry for how I was treated and why I stayed in us a horrible abusive marriage.

I snapped on day while he was on a business trip, and when he return home on Good Friday, said you have 15 mins to pack your shit and get the hell out of this house. I didn’t work at the time, and didn’t even consider how I was going to support myself and the children. I just knew I was done being abused.

My ex knocked me so low to the ground that I didn’t have a voice for myself or my children. It took many years to get over the abuse and be a strong women. Now I work with abused women, sexually abused women and women who suffer from self-injury from it. Have lecture at many conference on this type of behavior.

      I am a surivior…. I stand strong with a voice and a mission for women …..

      • Honestly, I think a DV support group should be started, based on the stories from this site, have be in support of Jodi. Shut HLN up once and for all…. as in, guess what, Jodi is not making a mockery of DV, there are survivors with similar stories who believe her 100%

  205. There are all these conflicting things about evidence and jurors that it boggles the logical mind.

So in theory a juror is not supposed to make up his mind till all the evidence is in, closing arguments are done and the instructions have been given. However, the prosecution must present enough evidence to prove its charges in its case in chief. They have absolutely no guarantee that the defense is even going to put up a case, and in fact sometimes the defense doesn’t. So the prosecution must prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt in its case in chief. That means that the prosecution has to present all the evidence necessary. Now prior to the start of the case the judge tells the jury what the basic charges are. So in fact at the end of the prosecutors case the jury knows the basic charges, and has seen all the evidence that is mandated by law. That would mean to me that they have enough at that point to at least make up their minds as to whether or not the prosecutor made his case.

Now along comes the defense, if it does do so. In AZ the defense is not guaranteed any surrebuttal. So, if they decide to put up a case, not only do they have to put up their case, but they also have to deal with any possible rebuttal. Which means they have now delivered their best evidence.

So at that stage is it reasonable to expect at least some people to have not made up their minds.

I have read somewhere, that the first thing juries do after electing a foreperson is take a vote to see where they stand. If true, tat means that even juries expect at least a reasonable number of people to have made up their minds?

Given that the prosecution has presented their case in chief, and as far as I know, the defense is almost done, is it outrageous for me to believe that some people have made up their minds?

    • I hate that Martinez was able to trick jurors into thinking that Alyce was biased against men.

I know that Alyce may have been avoiding classifying the instigator as a “she” to avoid allowing jurors the ability associate Jodi with instigator, but I think it made some men on the jury feel as if Alyce believes only men are instigators of DV, never women, when in reality, Alyce knows that men and women can be victims of DV.

    • tl;dr- yes. But the defense brought up new info that the PT never submitted which then gives the pros a chance to rebate and vice versa. Hence, the 13(?) times amended rebuttal witness list. They keep tacking on more stuff the further this trial goes. I feel like we could go on forever.

    • Al,
I am not sure I follow you at the end there…are you asking our opinions on whether we think the jury has, or has not made up their minds? If I understand you correctly, you are saying that maybe some people did right after the pros. case, and now that the defense is almost finished, more have? Sorry to sound so clueless, just want to be clear on your post..:)

      • Anna Ryan

You’re absolutely correct about what I was trying to say. I think by now a bunch of people have some idea of which way they lean. That is not to say they can’t be swayed, but I think they’re in one camp or the other for the reasons provided above. After all the common folk who see the trial are on one side or the other.

I was trying to figure out whether other folks here has similar thoughts.

    • Oh, at least ONE of the comments on yahoo? “It sounds like the jurors have seen HLN, WOOHOO, GUILTY!!”

      AAAAARRRGGG!!!

      • Lainy and others,

If you see that people on HLN are saying that some of the questions show that some jurors are watching HLN please email SJ. He will make sure the info gets to them. They need to be made aware so they can question the jurors and I know the screenshots help them. So please, if you see comments like that please snap a shot and send it to jodiariasisinnocent@gmail.com. ( especially commments that explain why they think the some members have been watching HLN.) This is is the thrust of their appeal ie. the jury not being sequestered. I know this is very important. We can make a difference in the outcome with this.

      • Which just shows what a moron that person is, WOOHOOing about the jurors committing misconduct.

    • If she is actually convicted of murder one despite the prosecution not proving one thing supporting that, then we will KNOW they were watching media reports.

Those questions bothered me because it was clear the direction of them was right out of HLN.

If she is convicted, this thing better be pitched out on appeal, for the entire prosecution theory has been based on lies told by Chris and Sky Hughes.

    • For those of you who know a little more about what’s going on. Will LMM (Little Man Martinez) get another opportunity to attack Alyce?

      Please God, I hope not.

And on a more positive note. I know that no matter what this particular jury decides in this horrible joke of a trial, it won’t be the end of it.

HLN’s hate mongers and JM’s horrible Prosecutorial misconduct are going to end up helping Jodi in the end And I believe that there is absolutely no way, we are the only ones who noticed what their hatred has accomplished.

I hope all these hate-filled individuals get what they deserve. And that’s no wishing harm on them. If they are indeed good people, then they will receive good things, but if that’s not the case, then….

      • Yes Sil, he will get to attack her after the jurors questions are done. I am not watching that, I can’t watch him attack her. 🙁

        • I’m wondering when the Judge’s lack of control is going to be addressed by someone. OMG, please does she not have a person she answers to?

      • Yes, unfortunately, he will, after jury questions, and after JW clarifies a bit on them, he will have the last say.

Click on the link below…it says: she tore into HLN’s crime-focused anchorwoman Nancy Grace…so NG posted the picture of Jodi…flipping the bird….which got the response from Jodi… “Actually Nancy, that finger was for you. Have a nice day.”

    http://www.mediaite.com/tv/apparently-jodi-arias-is-tweeting-during-her-murder-trial-doesnt-like-nancy-grace/

  207. I was tired, flipping through channels, On HLN after dark, Judge Siedlin just said, He did think that some of the juror’s ARE watching the trial. Just as some of us thought.

    • Yep. That is the fault of the judge not sequestering the jury.

      Major fail. Major appellate issue.

    • I agree with Judge Siedlin. Furthermore, it really is almost naïve to think not even one of the jurors have seen or are being influenced by all the bias and hatred out there seemingly everywhere you turn, and that none of the people the jurors have come into contact with during the past months have watched or been aware of what is going on outside the courtroom.

The jurors may not be purposely lying, of course, and may be taking their job seriously and doing it to the best of their ability. But I think they may fear the consequences of not acting like they are expected to act, i.e. they should walk around as if they have blinders and earplugs on with regard to the trial when they leave the courtroom and go about their everyday lives. This includes staying away from nightly news or being sure to turn the channel as soon as Jodi is mentioned suddenly in biased reports, as happens as well as going on their Facebook and Twitter accounts but never coming across any of the hate sites or comments or turning away quickly when they accidently come across them, and changing their behavior in other ways so as not being influenced by what they hear family members, friends, coworkers, and others say about the trial and the information and “facts” communicated by the media.

My fear is that jurors may ultimately be afraid for themselves and their families, although they may not consciously realize it or want to verbally admit it so blatantly, and may decide as a group to vote Jodi guilty, sensing how dangerous it could be to do otherwise. Time will tell what the outcome and verdict in this trial will be-and possibly much more, including the reality and consequences of not sequestering this jury.

  208. could that long break have been the defense trying to prove the questions were media based?

  209. Sticks and stones my break my bones but words will never hurt me is a fallacy.

Bones and bruises heal, emotional and psychological abuse do not heal so quickly. And, in my opinion, if Jodi came across as conceited it is because she felt like crap about herself in her life with Travis that she had to overcompensate with others in order to prove to herself that she wasn’t worthless, the way Travis seemed to make her feel.

Basically, her vocalizing how talented or smart she is to others would make it true in her mind. I mean, how many people, when they feel helpless in one aspect of their life, go overboard in other aspects?

  210. No Al, it’s not. AND, after spending about 3 hours on that yahoo articles comment site, NOT even trying to preach Jodi’s innocence, (I knew I’d be totally ignored as a troll-didnt matter though-as moni can tell you), TRYING to explain the rule of law & our constitutional RIGHT to be “innocent until proven guilty” and a jury trial….AND trying to stick up for Alyce..
I’m exhausted, pissed off, have been called every nasty word you can think of…
I FINALLY told several people I would give them the names of countries that haven’t adopted this tenant, and “BON VOYAGE!!”
    I CAN’T TAKE THIS HATE!!!!

    • Oh take break and remember you don’t deserve that. I find it to be a waste of time to talk to them and end up frustrated like you. There is moderated support page for AL on facebook but I don’t have the link. You may find that you like that page better in terms of supporting her.

      • Not on Facebook, but Chris should call tomorrow. 🙂
And you’re right, it’s like talking to a brick wall.

      • They are not interested in the Truth don’t bother But when a friend of mine said CULT on Amazon it seemed many were really mad. wonder whos putting up the money for all this hate campaign,
PPL????????? I think there is more to this story they ask LaViolette what made her think Travis was a pedophile liked boys, How about his My Space page and also his friend who stated He was glad Travis was coming out? how come the weird stuff on his My Space can’t be used.I am curious I know that if F Lee Bailey was trying this case he would have gotten every piece of dirt on Travis and someone or a group is covering for him.

    • ((Hugs))

Lainey, please don’t give up. I went through the same thing at Amazon. These people can’t see past their hate, and even though they seem to outnumber us, we can’t let them silence us.

  211. Hello, all.

I’ve been reading for a long time. I want to say that this trial has upset me greatly. I don’t even follow these kind of stuff usually. I definitely feel horrible for what happened to Travis and I don’t think Jodie is innocent.

Time and time again, i always come back to defending AlV and Jodie to a lesser extent. I am tired of seeing people wishing Jodie is dead and calling her horrible names. I am not really an abuse victim but i was bullied at school and I resent the way Jodie is being treated by blood thirsty mass. I also hate JM and the way he treated ALV and Jodie.

I hope Jodie willl not get the death penatly. I hope she will find some peace even in prison. I hope Travis is resting in peace.

  212. Hi all,
No need to jump to conclusions about today’s proceedings. You have to expect these kind of questions from the jury. Remember, they have been immersed in all this since day one, they know it’s televised so that makes them want to ask question even more. The way Martinez carries on while questioning makes it very hard to pay attention to the answer, so a lot of them are just looking for confirmation and a chance in a calm setting to listen to Alyce LaViolet’s testimony. If the jurors had already reached their conclusions they wouldn’t even be asking questions. And as far as Alyce LaViolet not smiling at Jodie>>she wants to let the jury be assured that she IS NOT biased toward Jodie. Remember, Martinez blurting out that she kept looking to her left. So I wouldn’t get too upset about today’s testimony.MURDER HAS NOT EVEN BEEN PROVEN, MUCH LESS PREMEDITATED MURDER. So chill.

    • “If the jurors had already reached their conclusions they wouldn’t even be asking questions. ” Edward, thanks for that reminder – that’s a very good point.

  213. (I’m disappearing back into the Twilight Zone where there are alternate universes) HLN has the unmitigated gall to ask the question: “Did Jodi’s expert witness show bias?”

  214. Warning; this is off track of today’s testimony, maybe outdated because of where we stand today, but because of my past experiences and what I see happen to another girl is just pissing me off and something has to be done. If not here, right now, then it is something to work on for anyone who can help make a difference.

I’ve been so disturbed by the seemingly mob/cult mentality so I’ve been reading and watching a bit about cults and cult behavior. I came across the FLDS church and, very sadly, some things seem to make sense why certain people are acting the way they do. One is that (according to an ex member) babies from 6 to 15 months are trained to not cry – they train them by putting their faces under water when they cry. As they are growing the girls are taught to never, ever speak negative of your father/husband/man in your life. From the age of 8 years old is called the ‘age of accountability’ for girls. This means that they must now take blame for everything bad that happens to them.

Next – I also watched a documentary of false confessions. One of the giveaways that it is a false confession is lack of memory and the person will answer ‘okay’ instead of ‘yes, I did it.’ I recall hearing Jodi answer okay
and even saying ‘you don’t believe me, do you,’ in one interrogation. The detective kept telling her there was no other evidence so, eventually, Jodi gives up and says, okay, she did it.

I read somewhere that Jodi was still being visited by mormon missionaries or elders or someone from the church. Has anybody heard this to be true or not? It just seems to me when I put together the stories of ‘accountability’ for women in mormonism, along with the sloppy police work and interrogation, Jodi’s answers of okay and no memory being in line with false confessions AND being visited by mormons in jail, well it seems to add up to me that this whole thing is baloney. I sent an email to a group that specializes in false confessions; don’t know if it will go anywhere, but I have to try.

    • Of what’s out there, it’s hard to tell, but I’ll call my cousin tomorrow, she can find out. Even if she is though, she’s not involved with FDLS, she was in the mainstream church, and although they’re VERY patriarchal, those things don’t happen there, (a LOT of other strange things do though. My cousin who our aunt converted when she was 18 & in love with her hubby who recently passed away-leaving her with 7 kids-is REALLY upset, or was last week. Her “Bishop” called her 16yo daughter in & asked her very inappropriate masturbation and sexual things that the girl didnt even know about. My cousin has thought about leaving the church, but they’re her main support & would totally disown her if she left. They threatened to turn her kids away from her. 🙁

    • Cindy, that’s very interesting. One of the major problems in this case is that Jodi was interviewed for long periods of time and gave a confession without having legal representation. That would have been a mistake for anyone. Whenever you are in trouble with the law, especially serious trouble, you need to consult closely with an attorney and have his or her representation dealing with the police. But considering her state of mind without any therapy for the trauma she went through, and what strategies were used to get that confession, Jodi may have said many things she wouldn’t have said otherwise that helped build a case against her.

I don’t know how appropriate the police strategies were. Jodi may also have been influenced by psychological vulnerability to a significant degree as an untreated survivor of a major trauma. We also don’t know what happened before the interview and whether she was physically affected by such factors as insufficient sleep, hunger, etc.

It appears that there have been a lot of issues and unanswered questions in this case and they start years before this trial. This includes the incompleteness of the investigation, interviews with others and lack of verification of their statements, and circumstances surrounding Jodi’s confession. The travesty of justice we see now at work in this trial is nothing new-instead it appears to be a continuing pattern of deficiencies within the state’s case which has been a major problem from the very beginning.

      • Lanie1843 – Wow. But after what I have learned in the last couple of weeks I am absolutely not surprised. I really hope they will keep a close watch and will get out if they need to.

Mattie – I sent an email and I will continue to seek out other avenues to alert. After what I have seen, however, AZ is so highly influenced by the mormon community that they seem to follow their own set of rules. It is also not surprising that sheriif joe does not investigate sex crimes. I hope that something will alert the rest of the country of what is going on over there.

I will repost this on the new page – see you guys there.

  215. Good Evening All..
I just found this website and I am thrilled to know there are wonderful people like you that are supporting this young women. If it were up to the folks at hln they would already hae put the needle in her arm. There is nothing fair about the hln crew and the way they are presenting themselves especially the evening shows. Has anybody seen Dr. Drew drooling over the little blond
dimpled girl who sits in the gallery and is now on his show every night, and talks about Juan as if she knows him… It really upsets me to think about the influence these so called experts on these hln shows have on our society, and how they know nothing about domestic abuse and how many different types there are. I have been through 28 years of it. The only thing they know how to do is project hate. I am on Team Jodi…

    • Hi Despina – it may be too late to see this but just in case; welcome. I’m sorry to hear about your abuse. Many of us recognize how ignorant society still is when it comes to abuse. We are praying things change for the better.

  216. I AM SO ANGRY!
Well I just Googled Alyce LaViolette’s name on Google News…LISTEN TO THIS…The title was “Could Alyce LaViolette Be Fined?” The VERY TOP news article FROM HLN! The topic was her “Constantly looking over to the defense table for coaching” TELL ME THAT MEMBERS OF THE JURY DIDN’T SEE THIS and then you can turn around and sell me a bridge! Two of the juror’s questions were, “Why do you look over to Jodi and smile?” and one question was, I saw you looking over to the defense table and shrug like you were looking to be coached, Why?” WELL MAYBE ALYCE WAS WAITING FOR AN OBJECTION TO BE MADE BY MARTINEZ! She couldn’t answer most of the questions without him objecting. Also, when she was being questioned BY Martinez, he would TALK OVER THE OBJECTIONS…looking toward Willmott, who made an objection and awaiting the ruling MAY HAVE BEEN WHY ALYCE GLANCED OVER THERE ! THIS JURY IS LYING WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE NOT EXPOSED TO NEWS REGARDING THIS TRIAL! IF JODY IS FOUND GUILTY IT WILL BE HLN’S FAULT!!!! THEY SHOULD DO THE ETHICAL THING AND RESTORE ALYCE’S GOOD NAME THEY SHOULD ALSO HAVE THEIR LICENSE REVOKED!!!!!
sorry about the cap letters but I am IRATE about this. EACH juror needs to be sworn in and asked INDIVIDUALLY, UNDER OATH, and ALONE with judge and stenographer only, if they are being honest. I AM ASTOUNDED!

    • Restore Alyces reputation?? They had some woman on there saying attacking Alyce ANYWHERE on the Internet is “fair game”!!

      • There is nothing fair about destroying someones life. Alyce has done nothing wrong, she gave testimony in her field of expertise in a trial. Since when does that merit being threatened, attacked and having your life work destroyed?

And nothing can be done about…that makes me so angry!

        • Gail you said it perfectly. It’s a disgrace what these people have done to Alyce , her career, family, friends, because they don’t agree with her and most of them are so uneducated they don’t even know what is going on in the trial.

Internet bullying…… and it’s ashame that these are grown adults. Thankfully she’s a strong women, otherwise i would be seriously worried about her state of mind and security.

We love you ALYCE…. Great work for the defense team

      • I saw that bitch. She claims to be some social media strategist … do what? And she claimed it wasn’t right to call her office, but reviewing her book on Amazon, etc., well Alyce knew what she was getting into when she took on this case, and anything online is fair game. Those were here words. I was pissed. She also said that she’s at fault because she’s said some stuff about Alyce on her blog and incited people.

        • I don’t know what you are talking about, fortunately. But I am struck in wonderment by that a social media strategist might do, and how one could earn a living doing such a thing. Perhaps I need one, though. Michael Keifer blocked me on Twitter when I stood up for him against a hater critiquing him on his own post.

    • I was going to make that comment too. It seems to me that several of those questions came directly from watching HLN. What an unfair trial! Some of the questions were ridiculous and ignorant; it seems that some jurors have been dozing while Alyce was on the stand, and instead decided to watch HLN can get the main points. Unfortunately, HLN is biased and they will not get the truth. Please, Mr. and Mrs. Juror, come and visit this site if you really want to be fair, and unbiased.

    • I thought the same thing regarding those questions, Dorothy. I found it odd that haters were mentioning AL being coached by the defense, and then today, a juror asked those questions.

    • Unfathomable……. this lady was hired as an expert in her field. It broke my heart today when she said her dad was there yesterday. Was this because she feared for her life? Her dad has to be old…. I hope none of the haters ever have to hire a DV expert, or have to experience in their lifetime. But with the hater’s having 35k followers there are several… No numerous TA followers who have been in this boat. I ‘ve noticed most are totally CLUELESS about the case, and just bash hateful words onto a screen. I feel for their children… ADULT BULLYING causes people to commit suicide.

There needs to be some serious changes in the laws with criminal trials and expert witnesses.

Glad to hear she has a very supportive family…. and two loving children.

This judge needs to be thrown off the bench…. She lets JUAN control that court room.

  217. OK, guys…I need some psychic healing. I broke my cardinal rule and stayed on Twitter AFTER I took the Ambien. And I engaged the enemy. I feel like my IQ dropped about 20 points, and I rolled around in the mud with the pigs so I need a shower.

    • lol! joujoubaby! I also feel slightly icky after spending some time at the HLN website. I was trying to see what the haters were ranting about today.

      I really shouldn’t have done that. =(

I’ma take bath in battery acid and scrub my soul with a pumice stone.

      • Can you get the soul scouring pumice at drugstore.com? Lava soap can probably do the rest. It’s a little greasy over there.

  218. It was just a week ago that we were all laughing and whoopin it up about Snow White and the midget prosecutor so lets refocus. I admit I felt defeated and was very upset earlier. I was more angry than worried, I did not like the smart alecky tone of some of the questions. I think some of them were mean. I just dont get it why some questions were peats, repeats and re-repeats. I would swear that the judge said she would remove any repeats but again she is so OUT THERE she may have forgotten her own admonitions.

  219. Lets say this ends up being a mistrial. JM will retry or another prosecutor. My question is will Alyce come back as the DV witness again? Would she bow out and they would have to find someone else?

    • That’s a very good question, Trixels. I’m hoping that whatever happens, the judge and the prosecutor are held accountable for their actions. The judge should have protected her from being badgered and disrespected by the prosecutor, and the prosecutor and his boss should be proactively protecting her right now, from any kind of intimidation regardless of her being a witness for the defense in this case. It is their lawful duty.

      • Obviously they don’t care. This woman’s life has been torn apart, her book was at 5 stars is now at 1 star only because you can’t go any lower. I seriously don’t know how badly her career is affected by this, her whole life devoted to DV and in the span of not even a week it’s been totally decimated by a bunch of idiots online.

And they are getting away with it, so the next trial they are going to be that much worse, they are going to push the envelope until someone gets hurt or worse, killed. Then what?

    • I doubt Alyce would go through this again, and who would blame her?

And that’s the problem, both with this trial AND with Casey Anthony’s trial: experts don’t want to get involved, or they bail out midway through, especially if their families are targeted. Jose Baez wrote about this in his book and I literally cried. How can someone accused of a crime EVER get a fair trial again?

    • My guess would be that it would be reassigned (I thought I’d read that AZ AG was unhappy w circus) and ALV would return if it got past plea negotiations, whoch pros would be under pressure this time to agree – Just my take

    • Yuck! I only got through the first paragraph before I had to barf. I think I’ve seen her spewing diarrhea out her mouth as an expert on HLN. *shudders*

      • Wendy Murphy is the batchit-crazy one who swears the sealed evidence file the FBI has from the Casey Anthony case is “PROOF that Casey was pimping out Caylee” (i.e. contains pornographic images of Caylee Anthony). Cuckoo…

    • She is adored on the hater sites and does blogtalkradio with them. What a mess. She’s just another weirdo lawyer trying to get her name out there by talking smack about this case.

    • Woooooo talk about man hater, NOW THIS LADY has made it clear she’s already upset with the male jurors without even a conviction yet!! A lot of HATE in this article, geeeessshhh!

    • I don’t know but I don’t like her I too think I seen her on hln
I had to watch but muted it today because my puter signal
was out due to storms here. But hln was so horrid that Ryan
an Joey an I think that woman was on there. I had to mute
until the trial came back on they were horrid all 3 of them
laughing an carrying on like it was so fun to wish death on
a young woman who simply defended herself an possibly
did not do all that other stuff. Makes me sick!

      • My friend Deb in MS was in the middle of all the tornado mess earlier and my better half is in your state on business. He drove through all that weather mess earlier; I was terrified! And now it’s on the way here. Blech!

        • OH NO ! I hope they all are safe Ashley that was really bad in MS that is only about 2 hours from here we are on the West side of the state. Got really windy an rained hard but we were Blessed again on that round. A few weeks ago we had some damage but just our roof an a big tree uprooted an knocked the carport sideways. But I was alone an thought it was my time that time for sure I could smell pine from the trees snapping outside an heard the loud train noise an the roof was shaking I thought I was a goner. But Blessed again. Gets rough around here this time of year.

  220. I love her defense team. Jennifer is awesome. i can’t figure out who the other female is on their team and what she does.

  221. Hello my kindred spirits!
I’m very happy to discover this forum! My husband got tired of my play by plays about 2 weeks ago. So since then it’s been me, the tv & my poor lil precious dogs. I think my dogs are tired of me too!
My heart is just broken for Jodi! I do not believe that she is getting a fair trial! This is the United States of America! This is not how our Judicial System is supposed to work! We are supposed to be *PRESUMED INNOCENT!* I’m so glad to know that I’m not alone. That others do see the miscarriage of justice! I just want to tell Jodi that shes not alone! I grew up in a dysfunctional home & I’ve also had a very dysfunctional relationship. It very easily could have been me sitting in Jodi’s chair. Thank God, I did survive & have a great life now! It seems that a lot of people are coming out of nowhere to tarnish her name & reputation! They just want a few minutes of fame! HORRIBLE PEOPLE! She has such a sweet disposition, she’s a beautiful young woman, & there’s a lot of jealous people out there! Haters! Even in the court room! The judge is a door mat! She lets JM run the circus! He jumps around while screaming. I. Can’t imagine how hard it would be to concentrate & keep my composure! Ugh! I truly believe that there’s absolutely MISCONDUCT! The judge should have stopped this behavior when it 1st started! She is so inconsistent in her decisions of over ruling or sustaining motions! Its just incredulous! It’s UNJUST! They are stomping all over her CIVIL RIGHTS! Yes, her CIVIL RIGHTS should still be completely intact as she had NOT been found guilty of any crime as of yet! As I previously said… my heart breaks for her! I will pray for this beautiful person! & Thanks to all of you kindred spirits!
    *Keep the faith! *

    • Welcome Terri!

Thank you so much for posting that. It makes me feel infinitely better to have new people come over and share their thoughts about what’s happening.

It strengthens my hope in humanity to know that there are more people out there who feel the same way we do.

I’ve said this before to others. I feel safe posting here because it’s really a hate-free site.

      • Thanks Sil! That means a lot to me! I assure you that I am NOT a hater & I am also Not hateful! I’m so thankful for finding this forum. A forum for Jodi! I pray that true JUSTICE is found & Jodi has peace in her life!

    • Welcome, Terri! We’re a nice enough bunch… A little rowdy, a bit dysfunctional, very supportive of each other, and extremely dedicated to following Jodi’s case to Justice! We’re a regular ‘ol family here. 😀 Pull up a chair; we’re glad to have ya!

    • Krys, whatchu still doin’ up, chica?

And I never thought I’d EVER say this either, but GO GERALDO! (Damn, I never liked FOX or Geraldo before this trial!!!)

  222. Who is the stalker for the TA hater’s site? Another photo of Alyce and the defense out eating.. Plus new photos of Jodi when she was younger ….. Wonder who’s leaking these photos? Are sick people really this money hungry? The would sell their soul to the devil for a quick buck.

    Totally disguisting.

    • I grabbed the pics of alyce and the defense eating. The picture looks like it was taken through a window or doorway. It is disgusting, but obviously someone is stalking them to take these pictures.

      Sent it along to SJ

      • Yeah, don’t know who took it, but it was at the very beginning of Dr. Drew when I was flipping through (you know, mindin’ my own business and all… Nothin’ to see here, folks!). And someone leaked a buch of pics from when Jodi was a teenager to Dr. Drew’s show, too.

I thank the Hindu God floaty-thingy every day for my FRIENDS… I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that if anything like this ever happened to me, they would rather die than sell me out to the highest bidder. If any media came knockin’ at their doors looking for dirt on me, they’d get spit on and doors slammed in their faces!!! I WISH I had known Jodi; I would have been a REAL friend to her!!! 🙁

        • Me too ! I would never do that to a friend the people were
never friends that do that how awful. To be deceived. I wish
I had her for a friend or even a daughter 🙂

          • Jodi’s only a couple years older than me, so we’d be friends. 🙂 I don’t know if she knows what a TRUE friend is… How sad is that, Rhonda?!?

            • It is sad it breaks my heart it truly does to see anyone hurt but too
have no one on your side 100% an tell actual LIES is even worse
to me. I hope to GOD she knows we are all here for her an if she
is set free she has many places to go far away from those people
that have hurt her by the LIES. I would WELCOME her in my home
any day with open arms ♥

  223. I know it’s late
    I know you’re weary
    I know your plans
    Don’t include reading my tweets

But some are too rich not to. Or maybe it’s the Ambien typing

  224. JUST NEED TO CHILL OUT now and think positive thoughts of things will go good for jodi and that 5 on the jury will set her free from the death penality and try to keep a positive outlook that they reduce this to she is guilty of lieing to FLORES and not to the pre meditated murder that JM wants us all to believe if the site that is seen above about the secret and law of attraction is true? I have never used it before but would love to see the results is their is 19,000 of us here use ing this secret for jodi’s sake ……:)

its late and will say my prayers for jodi lay me down to sleep pray the lord to keep jodi and all my team jodi is innocent site cant remember the rest. but you are beautiful to care what happens to someone in difficult times good night jodi good night to you all

          • the way it works you ask the cards a question that you have or something that you want to know and i will send you the card to read that will answer the question if it does not then we will have to deside if that is what u were wanting and by the way they have started a new page go to the top and click go home for some reason I’m the first on there and I cant believe it would ever happen to me

    • Oh, and the prayer is:

“Now I lay me, down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Guard me, Jesus, through the night, and wake me with the morning light. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take. God bless mommies and daddies, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas, and everyone in the whole wide world. Goodnight, Baby Jesus. I love you very much! Amen!”

      At least, that’s what I’ve been saying since I was 2… 🙂

  225. Didn’t Jodi say that Matt had seen the bruises that she had on her arms and neck. But, yet he has not been called to the stand to verify that. Somethings in this trial don’t add up.

One thing for sure, Mr. Weasel JM has no proof whatsoever of a premeditated murder. The wal mart receipt is a joke. Gas cans… LOL!! Upside down license, C’mon that is ridiculous. Is she going to drive thru the state of Arizona like that? She would be stopped as soon as the cops saw her.

No, no way does 1st degree make sense. Her story makes so much more sense.

    • Dave,

The biggest problem with Matt McCartney is that he came onto this site (yup right here) and posted that he would lie to save Jodi. Once that’s out there no way the defense is going to call him. Plus, from what I gather, he’s been on the record saying other stuff that may be pretty inflammatory to one side or the other. So I think no side’s going to call him.

  226. Dorothy! You noticed the face wiggle! I tried answering you but my answer d idn’t take, then I noticed you no longer needed my input when i saw your post from 12:03 am 😆

    • 😆 Sable! I figured it out and tried a few others…evidently wtf didn’t work but sad did and mad did too I wonder if :smh: works or 😥 lets see 😉

  227. Don’t mind me… just conducting some emoticon experiments .
:floorlaugh: :what: :furious: :please:    blowkiss:     :blushing: 😡 ::D: 😮 :like: :poop: :grumpy: :cool2: :giggle: :sigh: :heartbeat: :banana1:

      • SJ: How do you make that little green big grin????
        Should i stop “experimenting”?

          •
            Aha! Thank You, SJ!

BTW, FWIW, you have my respect for putting up the introductory post yesterday and you also have my respect for subsequently removing the graphic after your point was made.

Thanks again to you and mods for establishing and maintaining this safe site for all of us to share our views and our support for Jodi. 😉

  228. Thank You Cindy for the sincere and very nice comment. It is never to late to hear nice things. I want to do whatever I can do to help…

  229. As a resident of the UK Ive watched an read about this case.I am not a hater in fact I emphasise with Jodi haveing been incasereated in the past my self.
I also dont think Travis was a Saint an Jodi is certainly not the Demon M S M and the geral public want her to be.
I also emphasise haveing been the victim of abuse as a child so Im an abuse surviver.

I feel Jodi is obviously an emotionaly fragile state an also suffering from some acute symptoms.
Im on back chair driver so wont offer iunqualified opinions.
Only to say it horrifict that they are seriously considering putting an obviously mentaly disturbed Woman to death.

Civilisation is considered on how it treats those of its citizens whom are the most vulnarable.
This Woman should not be the centre of a three ring circus but in a theraputic setting receiveing much needed treatment an councilinng.

In stead of analiseng her as if she were a lab rat get her some HELP.

    M O O…….
