The Mid East has ISIS, Arizona has AZ Central [by Lise LaSalle]

Following on from the “no live re-trial coverage” ruling earlier this week, AZ Central published a ‘cartoon’ (see below). It prompted Kirk Nurmi to file a motion to have the re-trial relocated and the jurors sequestered. Even Kermit agreed the ‘cartoon’ was “offensive” but argued against the motion – which Pickles duly denied.

My first reaction was to say ‘Are you shitting me?’ After mulling it over for a while, I had to admit to myself that the Arizona Republic has been somehow moderate so far about the Arias case compared to some of their counterparts, and that there was indeed some truth to the fact that Arizona was considering this Latina girl from Yreka, California like the worst thing to ever set foot in their territory. Calamity Jodi was born in an Arizona courtroom and if they had their way, they would have put her to death because of the great menace created and promoted by the media. Hell, they tried once and when it failed, they cried foul and are giving the sentencing phase a do over.

So OK the State of Arizona considers Jodi Arias aka Candy Crush because of her super addictive nature, like a crisis deserving of more media attention than ISIS. They have proven it so far with their incessant and loud media coverage. She is such a threat to national security that they spent millions of dollars to make sure she would be treated like the worst terrorist on the planet. Nothing is more dangerous than this woman. Right? After all, she has killed her abusive boyfriend by ‘cutting his throat’ so that would qualify her as a member of the Islamic State.

Are you shitting me? So terrorists who are trained to hate and who have used the media to terrorize the world by cutting the throats of reporters are comparable to a young woman who ended up in a battle to the death with her boyfriend? And this woman has manipulated the media like ISIS?……………

The Jodi Arias Show (Pt. 2) – No Video Coverage Allowed

Following on from yesterday’s ruling, Pickles has now decided there will be no video coverage allowed (live or recorded) of Jodi’s retrial until after the verdict. Social media stuff has been ok’d though, so we’ll keep ourselves updated via Michael Kiefer’s tweetingz once again.

Oscar Pistorious + My thoughts on the retrial circus

Today we had a culpable homicide (i.e. manslaughter) verdict returned in the Oscar Pistorious trial… although he was found guilty of firing his gun in a restaurant.

Judge Thokozile Masipa summed it all up as follows:

“The state clearly has not proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder. There are just not enough facts to support such a finding.”

That’s true… but it’s also quite odd… because exactly the same applied in Jodi’s trial – even though we finished up with a different “verdict”. I guess that’s the difference between the media-driven judicial farce & almighty fuck-up we witnessed in AZ — and OP’s properly organized trial in South Africa… the latter also benefiting extensively from a judge that refused to entertain any BS from the state, the defense, the witnesses, the gallery, the media, the hot dog vendor in the car park and anyone else directly or indirectly connected to the trial.

Here’s the bottom line: In the plain light of day with any murder trial, and irrespective of any & all prevailing factors… if the state can prove premeditation… and they can produce clear conclusive evidence to validate their case beyond and to the exclusion of all reasonable doubt… then whoever is on trial should rightly be on the receiving end of a guilty verdict.

It’s when a guilty verdict is returned based on supposition & juror coercion, (and with no valid proof or valid evidence ever produced during the trial) that the whole justice system morphs into BS… just as we had in Jodi’s trial.

Getting back to Jodi’s penalty phase circus, which comes back to town a couple of weeks from now — this is basically how I see things playing out over the foreseeable future:

After several weeks of the new AZ retrial debacle… the jurors, based on evidence presented (or rather LACK of evidence as we had the first time around) will ultimately be split. No way will there be a unanimous DP verdict. Ain’t gonna happen. After all, how can a group of people — however clueless they might be — decide that someone should be killed because they defended themselves against an animal? (Answers on a postcard, please).

That will leave the final decision to Kermit’s BFF, Judge Pickles… who after several weeks (or even months) of pondering (in between her hair salon appointments & typically high-scoring golf games), will ultimately decide on L-W-O-P or some similar half-assed derivative.

Once again the DP won’t (politically) be an option, due the knock-on effect of it more than doubling the current $XX millions AZ has already pissed away on the trial. That of course also being the very same self-defense trial that should never have happened in the first place.

Following on from that — be it later this year or the early part of 2015 — Jodi’s appeals process can finally begin. Then this whole fiasco can finally be exposed for what it really is.

Taking all of that into account, we (cumulatively) have no need to get stressed out or worried over the next 6 months or so. It’s just gonna be a waiting game… until… one day in the future… maybe even in the distant future… justice prevails for Jodi.

As you may have heard on the grapevine… not content with having set up their own PayPal link & trustee mailing address very recently… “The Weberz” (aka Jason Weber, Pascal Van Daele & Elizabeth Ann Schilling) have now set up an illegal Trust Fund (using Jodi’s name) in an attempt to enhance their deception to an even greater degree.

They’ve even roped in an equally clueless array of cohorts. and gave them all “Board Member” titles.

Legal Facts:

The Jodi Arias Defense Fund has not been recognized as exempt under Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3). Nor can it be.

Article II of the Articles of Incorporation for the “Jodi Arias Defense Fund” (signed by the incorporators, Jason Paul Weber and Elizabeth Schilling, and certified by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Corporations, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau on August 21, 2014) states:

“The purpose of the Jodi Arias Defense Fund is to accrue funds through donations in order to (a) accommodate any of Jodi’s wishes while she is in prison, such as the purchase of a television or other amenities, (b) provide for any expenses Jodi feels is necessary for her appeals, and to (c) raise necessary funds to hire Jodi a well-qualified appellate counsel to guide her through the appellate process, while (d) maintaining enough funds necessary for a new trial, should one be granted. Any residual fees will be allocated to Jodi Arias and/or any domestic violence charities in which she instructs the Board of Directors to donate to.”

Under IRS Provision 7.25.3.5.1.6, adopted into law on February 23, 1999:

CHARITABLE CLASS REQUIREMENT “A charitable organization or trust must be set up for the benefit of an indefinite class of individuals, NOT FOR SPECIFIC PERSONS. A trust or corporation organized and operated FOR THE BENEFIT OF SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS IS NOT CHARITABLE. Thus, a trust to benefit John Jones is not a charitable trust even though the facts may show that John Jones is impoverished.

However, an organization set up with the general charitable purpose of benefiting needy individuals in a particular community is a charitable organization and it may select John Jones as a beneficiary.”

Innocence: An Argument For Jodi Arias [2013 RE-POST]

The above answers all the blood evidence, stabs, abrasive wounds, and incisions in a reasonable version of events, wherein all the pieces of this puzzle fit together perfectly, naturally, and consistently. The evidence shows Arias did not attack Alexander; he attacked her. Her actions, according to the evidence, were in self-defense—justifiable homicide. This is the only reasonable conclusion to Travis Alexander’s death.

It is clear Jodi Arias defended herself against a rampaging Travis Alexander. The autopsy report is clear only when you understand the meaning of each cut, stab, and wound and how they fit with the blood evidence. The prosecutor and the defense team couldn’t give a complete and creditable account for all the evidence at the scene. The prosecutor and defense answered the evidence with more than one scenario each. This essay contains the only story that accounts for all the cuts, stab wounds, and blood evidence, and the evidences shouts, “Jodi Arias did not commit murder. Travis Alexander’s death is justifiable homicide.”

The jury was not sequestered for the trial. They may have sworn they didn’t watch television news, listen to the radio, or read the newspapers, but, honestly, how could they have escaped the poison of seething hatred for Jodi Arias. It filled the air. It tainted the water. It changed the taste of everyone’s food. It crept into the lives of the jurors, who were free to move about the murmuring mob, living among the horde that later howled for Arias’ blood. Arias did not have a fair trial. The spotlight of hate was too bright. The flood of hatred had completely drowned all common sense and fairness.

Seeing Travis Alexander’s dead in that shower will haunt Arias for the rest of her life. No amount of water could wash away the horror. She couldn’t clean away the nightmare. But like my father and others who have had to kill, Arias is not guilty of murder. She fought to stay alive. She fought, as any of us would, to take her next breath, to see another tomorrow. Her actions that terrible day are, as they should be, justified.
